    This was my first time taking my car into any auto shop in college station and it was great. As someone who doesnā€™t know anything about cars, the problem was explained very well with a good price compared to the other auto shops in town. Bryan have an exact estimate and was very understanding and patient, which is also the vibe I got over the phone so all around awesome customer service!

    Outstanding place with friendly, informative techs and employees. I had a major suspension repair on my mini-SUV and they were very clear with all the pricing elements, and were flexible in letting me know what was absolutely necessary and what was more recommended. After the repair, I had the car for a week before I drove over 70mph and noticed a slight pull, I took it back and they fixed it right up for no extra charge. They even finished the major repair 2 days earlier than they first estimated, despite having to order many parts. Highly recommend!

    CarDoc is exceptional! After Caliber Collision SCS proved to be negligent and/or incapable of repairing my vehicle, CarDoc demonstrated superior customer service and they promptly diagnosed and remedied the problem. They were diligent and displayed masterly skill from the very start. The staff is knowledgeable, competent and friendly and I felt that I was in good hands throughout the entire process. The turnaround time was amazing and I was back on the road in a timely manner! They kept me informed throughout the repairs and I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish!     This place is great, because these people are great. They know what they are doing. They helped my son with two different cars during his time at TAMU. Then, the day after graduation, a Saturday, they helped us with a brake issue of our own. We would have been unable to drive home without their help. If you are sending your sons or daughters to TAMU make sure they have CarDoc in their phone. Affordable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable.

    Techs were able to diagnose the problem with my truck, people in the office were nice and made sure to touch base often and describe the issues theyā€™ve noticed. Labor prices were ridonkulous so I ended up doing the repair myself but other than that had a good experience.

    My daughters 2011 Toyota Tundra had a check engine light come on and after being at the Toyota dealership which gave us an estimate of repair, I reached out to them to get another estimate. The estimate was almost half what Toyota had quoted. CarDoc allowed us to schedule the work with them as the Truck was drivable so it was in and out in one day, which saved her a lot of hassle due to her busy schedule at A&M Vet School.     Everyone from the front desk to the mechanics in the back were open, honest and professional. Tyler (certified ASE Master Mechanic) did an 8 point safety inspection as required under the ā€œAssembled Vehicleā€ regulations and walked me through his findings and offered some great advice on how to tighten up a few things to avoid future problems. I will definitely be using them again.

    Incredible staff and service. My coolant pump went out completely in college Station (several hours away from home), and the CarDoc staff took care of me and worked with my car warranty company - even when the warranty company wanted to be difficult. The CarDoc front desk employees and technicians were wonderful communicators, pleasant to speak with each time I called them, and worked to get me back in my car and home as quickly as possible. I have had no issues since the part was replaced, and have recommended CarDoc to several friends and family members already.

    I had a wonderful experience. I was looking at a huge bill especially for a college student when I took my car to the dealership. I was advised through a friend from Marshall Texas to check with this shop and as it turns out they were able to save me a very significant amount of money! They were courteous and very conscientious checking my car out thoroughly and advising me if I had any further issues like the one that started all of this to just drive it straight back to the shop so they could take care of it for me! I feel so much better knowing while I am here I have a place I can trust to take care of my car and keep me on the road! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

    I have been a long-time customer of CarDoc since my Lexus IS threw a timing belt in front of their store a decade ago. In that time I have recommended them to everyone that has asked about automotive repair (students, new BCS residents). And as someone who likes to sit and work in their waiting room, I have had the chance to observe the way they talk to customers of all kinds in person and one the phone, and have always been impressed with the kindness embedded in their professionalism (especially Aaron). I know cars, and I have never had or heard them recommend a repair or test that was unnecessary, which should be a common fear among potential customers. A family-owned business that is a true gem in this town.

    Wolf Creek Lube recommended that I get an oil leak checked out at CarDoc (which is right next door), and Im glad I took their advice!They quickly diagnosed my car and found a more serious coolant leak, the repairs for which took just under a week, and that was only because the necessary part was difficult to source and slow to ship. If I drove an in-production domestic car, Im sure it wouldve taken about a day.They were upfront about cost (you get your estimate via text and can view/approve/deny any work online anytime), kept me up to date on when to expect to be back on the road, and never tried to upsell me on extra services at any point.I will definitely be bringing my car back here, and special shoutout to Aaron and his awesome technicians!

    I was extremely frustrated when I found out my car was leaking coolant but when I got to the shop to have it checked out the employees made me feel SO much better. They took complete care of me and had so much communication, giving me piece of mind. The only con I can give was that I had to pay $1,200 for a coolant leak HOWEVER, they were able to get my prior cost down to this amount. Round of applause to Ren, Hailey, Aaron, and Jeremy for dealing with all of my emotions and staying patient with me!!

    Honest shop that truly cares about their customer especially Aaron. My car was making sounds really bad. Aaron asked me if I had done anything to the car recently. I informed him that I had new tires put on by a national known tire company. He immediately told me not to drive the car as it could be very dangerous and what to do. I followed his instruction and he was correct. The tire company was at fault and they corrected the problem. I really appreciate them.Also, CarDoc has worked on my car previously and I have no complaints on the work they do.

    I brought my 02 Cummins to CarDoc to have the oil pan gasket replaced.     Aaron and the whole staff are incredibly awesome and humble people. Theyā€™ll order multiple parts from different places, as a backup, just in case one doesnā€™t arrive on time.     I used a different auto care shop for about 20 years before they went sour on me. I tried out CarDoc automotive because it has great reviews and was close to home. I was not disappointed. Everything was fixed perfectly and at a VERY competitive price. They even tossed in a brake inspection, alignment inspection, and tire inspection for free just to ease my mind about a very important car to me and my family. They are now my new 2 decade (to come) auto care shop.

    The reviews are all accurate. Talked to Aaron on the phone a few days prior to dropping my 2004 Chevy 2500HD off for some AC problems. He was extremely friendly on the phone and took the time to explain things to me and most importantly listened. He got the truck in on a Friday around 9AM and by 11AM I had a phone call from him saying it was ready. Now the news was not what I was hoping for but that is not his fault for my truck parts breaking. Will for sure be coming back for future projects. Thanks again Aaron & the crew.

    I generally dont do reviews but these folks have earned it. A family business that knows their product. They know my vehicles better than i do (I know them fairly well) and the family warmth is palpable. I know my vehicles are cared for as much as i care for them.Theyve done everything for my vehicles from oil changes to engine replacements. Even inspected a potential used vehicle purchase, finding some carefully hidden evidence of flood damage i had missed.Good, honest, friendly, fair, and timely. Two thumbs up.

    CarDoc helped me find out my heater hose needed to be replaced and let me know it would be fixed in 3-4 days. They were actually able to get it fixed faster than that and were professional and very helpful throughout the whole experience, and gave me every detail each step of the way.     I have been using Cardoc for years(18+) now. They have always steered me in the right direction and they have also done there best to keep the prices reasonable. In my last job they pretty much saw me once every other a month because of all the miles I drove for my job. when I needed something they would usually suggest it, or would suggest it so I could get replaced the next time that way it didnt wait until I was broke down some where. Anytime I went to them with an issue I wasnt sure what it was they figured it out and fixed it; if it was warranted. I trust the guys at this shop they do great work and I dont hesitate to recommend them

    These guys are my heros!! Truly. My car began to overheat on HW 6 so I was forced to pull into the closest place possible. Im so glad it was CarDocs. They saw me struggling to pull into the parking lot and came out to meet me. Did a quick diagnosis and found a hose blown out. They worked with a sense of urgency knowing it was Saturday and it may be difficult to find parts all while providing excellent customer service making sure I understood what was going on with my car and engaging my two young sons.     Experience was very good.My wife and I did a ton of research about what may have been wrong with our vehicle before going in just to make sure we were going to get screwed over. We told the lady checking us in exactly what we were experiencing and what we thought the issue was.They allowed us to leave the vehicle with them (without and appointment on a Friday morning... Very Nice!), called us about 2 hours later with a quote to get it fixed, and the job was completed within 2 more hours. Very timely!I really appreciated the honesty of this shop, as they could have easily charged us for both wheel bearings instead of one. Thank you very much. They did recommend an oil change at a reasonable price and they were not pushy when I refused the oil change.Total cost was roughly $450 for a wheel bearing replacement and diagnostic.I would recommend this shop due to the pricing and the honesty that I experienced. I will also return for any issues that arise and see if the next experience is the same as this one.

    Probably the best group of mechanics in town, the owner Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable in electrical diagnostics across all models but especially LS platform engines and Fords. If you have a difficult issue dont go anywhere else in town, they will just waste your money and your time Jeremy and his guys will be really honest with you about what your vehicle needs and will get it done as fast as they possibly can. They also help me when I used my aftermarket vehicle warranty to replace a busted radiator in a timely manner. I have more electrical work I need to get looked at on my new truck I just cant afford to have the truck down right now, but hopefully very soon.

    There is a lot I could say about Tyler, Aaron, Hillaree and all those at Car Doc and it would all be good. I recently had a problem that was intermittent - the sound always went away when I pulled into the parking lot. Aaron said when it happens, come on over, dont turn it off and let me hear it.     AMAZING SERVICE!!! So thankful for Aaron at car doc!!! We were visiting from out of town and heard a rattling and grinding noise while I was driving! Although they were completely booked for the day, Aaron didnt want me driving back home without making sure we were safe. He took the time to check it out and found a tiny rock stuck in the rim of my tire. He popped it out and told me I needed new tires as I was about to have a blow out. Looked at the tire and sure enough they were pretty worn and I hadnt noticed. He possible prevented an accident and super grateful for him taking the time to check the issue out!!     Very prompt and professional service! I took my car in for A/C issues, knowing and expecting that the compressor was probably dead, and they diagnosed the issue quickly and ordered the part for the next day. I dropped my car off around 8:30am and it was done by 11am! Aaron offered me 3 different options and was very transparent about total costs and the pros and cons of each option. The final price was exactly as quoted. The A/C works better than I have ever experienced since owning this car. I will be back for future work, definitely recommend!

    What a great repair shop. Is there any one there not ASE Certified or ASE Master certified? You can tell these guys are the best. We took our Highlander in for a mysterious intermittent brake light failure last Aug 2021. Mechanics hate working on electrical issues like this. They are hard to trace root cause and fix. Aaron helped us get this repair done and relatively cheaply.Now in March, we thought we had a failing catalytic converter issue but it turns out its a failing alternator. They picked out a great remanufactured one, the manufacturer that Toyota used to make the original, but for a lot less money than going to the dealer. Made recommendations regarding overdue maintenance on the alternator belt and power steering belt. We can save $ on labor replacing now since they are already removing one belt and are right next to the other.Also gave me free advice regarding our radio problem that were had for the last 8 year. Its been in a half dozen different shops and no one else ever did that.Bottom line: these guys are just amazing. Transparent, upfront, honest. This is the mechanic you wish you had in your family. In this case, you donā€™t have to.Highly recommend.

    Thank God for CarDoc. I cant remember the last time I encountered a business with such integrity and of such high quality. This place is an oasis in a desert. They are good, honest, trustworthy people and they go above and beyond the call of duty. After a nightmare of an experience at another auto shop, CarDoc made everything right again. Aaron, got me a detailed estimate within MINUTES of me calling, gave me a great price, and they fixed the problem I brought it in for in less than a day. The whole process was completely painless.A few days later, Aaron called me to tell me they had forgotten to replace a part; something I never would have noticed if they hadnt told me. He told me to bring it back in and theyd sort it out right away, no charge. Its rare that you find a business that not only does good work, but both owns up to and fixes mistakes without any hesitation.On top of all of that, when I pulled up to have them replace that part, my car was making one of those mysterious noises that it had been making for a year, but that somehow disappeared anytime I took it to a shop. I asked Aaron if someone could check it out since it was making it right then. He got one of the technicians to go check it out RIGHT THEN, and they told me theyd look into it more while they were replacing the part. They called me just a few hours later to pick it up, and when I got there, they had not only replaced the part, but had also diagnosed and fixed the noise! And on top of that, they had diagnosed and fixed a separate, unrelated problem that was causing a check engine light. I was thrilled! When I asked what I owed them for the time and work... Aaron said I didnt own them anything, they were happy to help.     I first visited Car Doc early last year, and have used them ever since. Even after a debacle with a bad engine and warranty for repairs (engine and labor), CarDoc honored the warranty, saving me more than $600 on that repair alone. Ive gone to them several times since to repair my Jeep. If youre having car issues, CarDoc is a good place to go. Theyre an honest shop which is AAA approved for repairs. Friendly staff, always accommodating. Reasonably priced.I appreciate all the help these guys have given me. 10/10 would go again.

    I will never go anywhere else ever again!!! I had an issue with the fuel system on a foreign car that no one else could figure out. After wasting 1500$ with mobile mechanics plus (I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO MY WORST ENEMY)I decided to give cardoc a try.From the moment I called, they were confident that they would be able to solve my problem. I took it in and gave another brief description of what was going on with my car and all I have to say is JEREMY!!! That guy knows his stuff!!     If your car is very low to the ground they do a great job at accomodating. Was able to get my corvette aligned with no issues. Only has 1in of ground clearance. Most shops wont bother.

    It is very hard to find an good mechanic and Google put me an ease to find CARDOC. After reading all the positive reviews from customers, I am not dissapointed at all: they were honest about what they could and couldnt do since my car is an international import (they are not wired the same) and made my day by being fast and affordable. Aaron is very nice and the specialist that looked at our car was knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this place and Im sure they will have my business since I know they are reliable, honest and not pricey.

    Holy honest mechanic, Batman! We were visiting friends in College Station when our minivanā€™s cylinder #3 started misfiring, potentially stranding us with two kids under the age of three-years-old over 100 miles from home.One of our friends recommended CarDoc as an ā€œhonest mechanicā€, so we took the minivan (limping all the way) to CarDoc. CarDoc was booked over capacity and simply couldnā€™t attend to our vehicle, but the attendant/mechanic (whose name I didnā€™t catch) explained the procedure to me and printed out an engine diagram for me. Using that information another friend of mine was able to buy the parts and repair the engine. Weā€™re now driving home, and the kids are sleeping in the back seats.Let that sink in, the mechanic at CarDoc decided heā€™d rather help out a family in need than make a payday when we were in a tight spot. The world would be a better place if we had more mechanics like this.

    Ive had nothing but great experiences here. My 2001 toyota corolla locked open and they fixed that free of charge. I called for a price check and they not only quoted me a cheaper price then Midas and Meineke she (Morgan) told me that part doesnt normally fail on my car so i went outside to check and sure enough i found no signs of a leak and my levels havent depleted. Though I havent had a major repair done here I would highly recommend them. By the other reviews their repairs seem solid as well.Ex) Meineke told me the charcole evap canister would cost $1000 to replace and they were like no its $400-500Ex) Midas told me the power steering reservoir was leaking and it would be $400. They said $300 but also told me its a strange part to need replaced.I didnt give them the prior quotes when asking so they werent trying to outplay their opponents. So these are just their genuine prices. For which im very grateful of.

    Hard to find honest mechanics that dont over charge and these guys are the real deal. I walked in thinking another mechanic (my dad who lives out of state) and I had diagnosed the $800 problem. Jeremy called me after an hour and said he thought he found what was actually wrong and that it would be a $150 fix. He checked it out, called me back and said he figured it out. They very easily could have replaced what we originally thought was wrong and charged me the full $800 but they were honest and helped me out. This is the second time Ive brought my car there and these guys are all really friendly, go above and beyond to explain what the problem was and what they did, and have really competitive prices. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone, especially females who may be less knowable about vehicles. Lary will treat you like hes your dad. Awesome place!

    Ive taken my car here almost every time I needed something done for the past four years while Ive been in college. Theyre fast, reliable, and honest.Most recently, I took it in after having issues with the Navasota Ford dealership. The dealer had quoted me about $150 for a few minor repairs but when I called Car Doc, Aaron recommended not even taking it in because the parts could be bought next door for less than $20 and installed easily.On another occasion, Aaron spent 15 minutes in the blazing summer heat helping me rig something together to remedy a broken AC part that wpuld otherwise cost $1,200 to repair.Another time, my brother took his truck in because the window was stuck open. I dont recall what the cause was, but they called him two minutes after I picked him up from the shop and told him it was something very trivial. They ended up charging less than $10 and sent him on his way.Its hard to find honest car mechanics, but these guys certainly are!

    Extremely satisfied is a bit of an understatement. These guys diagnosed and repaired a fuel pump issue within a day on a Toyota Tundra and did it at a fair price. I own a motorcycle repair shop in San Antonio, so with that experience it is pretty easy to tell when another repair business is not honest, fair or professional. Communication was above and beyond. This will be my to go shop in College Station without a doubt. I have two children in college there, each have their own vehicle, so the next time we need repairs or service we wont feel like we should look around and research where to go. No need to look for what youve already found.

    I would give them 8 stars if I could! My daughter goes to Texas A&M and I live in Wisconsin. When she had car trouble she took her car elsewhere. They were going to charge her $1600 to replace a water pump, hoses, headlight and change the 2 front tires. I balked and called Aaron at CarDoc- he jumped right on it, quoted it out at $1100. We took it to them and they found the hoses were fine and that the headlight just needed to be adjusted. The final bill was $919. Almost $700 less than their close competitor (Superior Auto)

    I had my timing belt replaced at a NAPA shop in Austin, then a few days later in College Station (where I live), my engine began making an unbearable squealing noise. I called the shop in Austin to see if there was anyone local in College Station they would recommend to look at it, and they pointed me to CarDoc. I went in and explained my problem to Aaron, and he walked out to my car right then, opened the hood, felt around in the engine, and diagnosed the problem as a loose alternator belt. Took him all of 30 seconds. He talked to the shop in Austin where I had the timing belt work done, and they agreed to foot the bill for me. Aaron had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes, for free. Couldnt have had a better first experience at CarDoc. Will definitely come back for future auto needs.
