Kyle was super knowledgeable and took his time listening to what concerns we had with our fridge cooling and water line systems, checked all the components, and confidently determined what the issue was. He was very transparent on replacement part cost and service fees. I also asked if he felt like it was worth ordering the replacement part or consider buying a new fridge and he provided a genuine opinion backed up with other details learned by the QC. Thank you Kyle! We will use Callahan’s for appliance services going forward.

Issue was extended warranty purchased from Lowes. Tech called when on his way and arrived on time. Quickly diagnosed problem and had to order parts. When parts arrived, a different tech was on the call. Quickly installed part and appliance works fine. Good service done on a timely basis.

After dealing many months with another company that was not fixing my washing machine and dryer, I asked my warranty repair company to send out another company. When they showed up, I asked if he knew how to repair LG washer and dryers. He stated that he was certified in repairing LG. (which the other company wasnt). It didnt take him long to figure out what the other company had done had actually messed up my dryer ever more and he was shocked at what they had done to my dryer. Before he left, he ordered what I needed to fix my washing machine and dryer and put it on a rush order due to us having issues since May 2024. The company quickly got the parts in to repair both my washing machine and dryer. They came back out as soon as they could and repaired them. The gentlemen who did the service call was very professional and friendly and answered all the questions that I asked. Even though we lived over an hour drive away they did what they needed to do in order to get my appliances repaired and back up and running for us. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism and timely response. Meanwhile I had been dealing with the other company to fix my appliances for over 5 months. Outstanding job!

The is a terrific mom and pop —. I mean, sister and brother - operation where they really care about you. They called every few days to let me know a missing part was still on the way and fixed my 34 year old Frigidaire dishwasher so it runs better than ever. Very highly recommended.

Joshua came out to troubleshoot our ice maker did about a half a dozen or more updates to the fridge. But to save an additional trip ordered a new replacement ice maker in case the updates didn’t fix the issue. They didn’t. When the new replacement came in he came out and replaced the ice maker and now the refrigerator is working great and the ice maker is working batter than when we first got the refrigerator in 2022 from Lowes

From the warm and efficient customer service provided by Jeanette in scheduling our washer and dryer repairs to the prompt arrival and expertise of our technician, Pete. Everything about our experience was top-notch. Pete skillfully repaired both our washer and dryer and the cost of the repairs was very reasonable. Upon completion of the work, Pete explained in detail the work he performed and provided tips on how to improve the efficiency and extend the life of our machines. I highly recommend Callahans for any of your appliance repair needs and they even service the North Fork of Long Island!

Ive had a technician come out to my place about 3 times to look at my dryer. I believe the issue was fixed the first time after cleaning out the duct. The last time they came, they did not find the problem. The dryer would run for 3 minutes and stop. I ended up trying another repair company and they reported that the sensor was malfunctioning. It was replaced and so far the dryer has been working for my guest.Overall theyve been professional, but I dont know why the main problem was discovered, costing me so much money

My top of the line LG refrigerator blew a compressor after only three years. I was really disappointed, considering what I paid for it. They diagnosed the problem (a out of alignment fridge door), discussed it with the Mfg. and ordered the necessary parts. They returned today after receiving the parts from the Mfg. It was a quick fix and covered bby the Mfg warranty. The repair tech (I dont remember his name, unfortunately), was knowledgeable, very professional and friendly. Still waiting on a repair update about my appliance and not even a courtesy call.Its frustrating when there is a lack of communication.I have worked in customer service most of my life and all my clients are constantly given an update about their services/products.The first time I called it took 2 days and about 4 or 5 calls to get a hold of someone. Jennifer is always awesome; however I was told by her I would receive a call or text from the tech before arriving at my home and that never happened.Advice - setup an email where the client can get information updates.Update: ******Callahan fixed the microwave and now works like new - tech was a bit complicated to work with as he didnt want to replace the part because he claimed it worked fine. If an appliance works and then randomly turns off without any reason to and its under warranty - there should be no questioned asked to repair it.

This was, without a doubt, the absolute best service experience I have ever had. The scheduling of the service call was quick and accommodating. Callahans automated phone follow-up system is superb. It confirmed and reminded me of the call date and time, and it advised me of my technicians name and alerted me when he was 30 minutes from arriving. The technician, Dale, arrived on time exactly in the center of the agreed upon time slot. Dale was courteous and professional and went straight to work. He obviously was extremely knowledgeable as he diagnosed the problem, determined the problem and completed the repair in approximately 30 minutes. The dryer and the surrounding area were left in the exact condition in which Dale found it and the dryer once again works properly. I have a Frigidaire freezer still under warranty that started icing up on the inside and started letting outside heat / moisture into the freezer. Callahans Appliance was selected by Frigidaire to provide the repair - Garret came out 4 or 5 times, trying to fix the issues around the freezer door but the problems kept returning.He was on time, explained me the repair steps that he attempted and he clearly made an effort to resolve the problem but ultimately he couldnt. He called Frigidaire support in the end and finally the freezer was marked irreparable by the manufacturer.While the appliance is not fixed, I still consider my experience with Callahans Appliance good because they were helpful and its not their fault that the freezer cannot be fixed - it seems to me that the rubber seal around the door has design / manufacturing issues.Id recommend Callahans Appliance and would work with them in the future based on my experience.

Our LG refrigerator wasnt cooling right. and other appliance companies wouldnt touch it. Thankfully they did refer us to Callahans since they do the LG authorized repair work for LG. They sent out Spenser to fix the issue. He found the compressor was bad as seems to be the issue with a lot of LG refrigerators of a certain age (our was built in 2013). Spenser was friendly, positive, polite, communicative and did a great job on the repair. The fridge was now cooling well and ruining more quietly than I can ever remember. However, we still had milk going bad, etc and called Callahans back out somewhat concerned that the compressor fix wasnt the whole fix. As it turns out there was another part that controlled the temperature that was also bad. To their credit Callahans took care of that repair at no cost. I was extremely surprised and pleased that a company would make it right in this day and age. Thank you Callahans and thank you Spencer. The fridge is now working maybe as good or better as the day we bought it. You have earned a new customer and I would 110% recommend your company.

We had purchased a stackable Speed Queen set from another supplier and had an issue with the door on the washer closing without an upward boost to shut properly.We were referred to Callahans for the authorized dealer to make the adjustment. I made the call for service on a Friday and was placed on the schedule for service the next Monday. 10am Monday morning, there is an employee at our front door.Dale introduced himself, went to the laundry room, and was finished in a very short period of time. He addressed all my concerns.Very glad that Callahans is one of the authorized repair dealers.By the way, we highly recommend the Speed Queen line of products. No, we are not associated with, nor do we receive anything for our recommendation. But these items are made in WI and are durable, built to last. Granted, the price is a bit steep compared to other sets on the market, but like I tell my wife, you get what you pay for. Plus, we got a 10 year warranty, which is unheard of for a washer/dryer set. One last thing, we went with Speed Queen because we do a ton of laundry for our family.

On May 3, our two-year old LG side-by-side stopped cooling. We chatted with an LG customer service representative who scheduled an appointment with Callahans Appliance.Within an hour, I got a call from Callahan and the nice lady who spoke assured me that the issue is a known problem with LG side-by-sides, and it will likely require replacing the linear compressor. I was surprised - LG had advertised the linear compressor technology as the next great thing - and it failed on us already?The technicians showed up as scheduled. There were two of them, the first, an expert, and the second, an apprentice. The expert inspected the unit and in under 5 minutes confirmed that the compressor needs to be replaced. I asked if we would have the same issue again in a short while. He told me that LG has since upgraded their compressor which is what they would now install.Although he gave us an estimate of up to 2 hours, the work was completed in about an hour. We followed his instructions about bringing back the refrigerator to life and 24 hours later, the unit was working flawlessly.The entire visit was free, covered under warranty. We didnt even have to sign a piece of paper. Thanks, Callahans Appliance!

Dale from Callahan’s came to fix the control panel and water filtration system on my Samsung refrigerator. He called 30 minutes before he arrived, as I had requested, to give me time to get home.He quickly took care of the control panel, but it became necessary to turn off the water at the street to work on the filtration system. A heavy storm was passing through, drenching him as he shut off the water. After completing the repairs, he was soaked again turning the water back on.Through it all, Dale retained his sense of humor, quickly and efficiently repairing the refrigerator. He is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and I will request him for any service needed in the future.From my past experience with them, I have specifically requested Callahan’s for all of my warranty and extended warranty work. All of the Callahan’s representatives have been helpful and friendly, working with me to schedule service that fit my schedule.Nobody wants their appliances to break down, but they do. When that happens, though, Callahan’s will be the company I call for repairs, and Dale my choice to do the work.

I bought a fifth wheel trailer in October of 2018 that has a residential full size side by side fridge in it. It would not cool at all and kept giving an error code. Of course the RV dealership said they could not get it in the shop until September, which is 3 months away. The dealership told me to call LG and file a warranty claim directly with them. I called and told LG at least 4 or 5 times that the fridge was in a fifth wheel trailer and they said no problem. When the 2 technicians showed up LG did not inform them it was in a trailer. Instead of just leaving saying they would not work on it the technicians came inside and informed me upfront they could not move the fridge out because of being liable for damages. I 100% understood and asked them if I moved it and they did not have to touch it or wait long for me to move it would they stay and try to fix it. They agreed and after I got it out, which took 2 minutes, they immediately diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and told me how to prevent the issue from occurring again. The technicians were super friendly and were actually talking about going boating and camping while they were working. I would recommend Callahan/s Appliance to everyone. Since it was covered under warranty I am not sure of their pricing, but even if they were double of every other repair/service company I would pay it.

I am impressed with his knowledge and interest in helping me be more knowledgeable with having myMachine operate efficiently .
