I had the pleasure of speaking with Glenn Mitroff today, and I can’t say enough positive things about him. I had called Allstars Electric Heating & Air Condition with an inquiry regarding HVAC systems. Soon to find out this company is located out of my home state, Glenn was not obligated to help, yet he went above and beyond to provide me with valuable information on HVAC systems along with other questions I had.He was patient, thorough and genuinely willing to share his expertise, which was incredibly helpful for me! It’s rare to find someone who takes the time to assist, especially when they don’t have anything to gain. I truly appreciate his kindness and professionalism. His final assessment influenced my decision on what HVAC is right for me! Glen is highly knowledgeable and you can clearly tell it’s his area of expertise. Glenn and Allstars live up to their billing as “All Stars.”Consider my story: It is the middle of the summer in Dallas. Temperatures are 100. Saturday at 3:00 pm my air conditioning goes out. I have a six-month old child, and I am wondering, “What am I going to do?” I call a couple of places, and they all tell me that they are full and that they “maybe” could get someone to look at the unit by Monday.I find Glenn and Allstars and see that they have great Yelp and Google ratings. I all Glenn at 3:35pm and text him pictures of the unit. (Keep in mind that I live in a 100+ year old house with odd nooks and crannies and other people said that it would be impossible to replace the unit without demolishing my existing wall)Yet, Glenn and his crew and no problem.Amazingly, by 8:30pm on Saturday, my house was cooling off. Amazing work guys!

Glenn and his team at Allstars Electrical were amazing. Our heat stopped working right before the crazy storm last week and Glenn was able to get us a new unit and have it installed in 24 hours! My husband, two young children, 2 dogs and I are extremely grateful for the quick response and hard work this company put in for us. My AC unit / heater went out in December the day before a 3 week vacation, and I spoke with Glenn on the phone and he was able to come out the next day to replace my unit! Glenn even came that night to explain what was going to happen the next day and so that I could sign the paperwork. Glenn was knowledgeable and had great customer service.The crew came the next day, was very clean, and finished the job quickly.I had a question for Glenn this week due to water condensation on my heat pump, and he even offered to come check it out that evening around 9 PM (I told him that wouldnt be necessary, but I was very impressed that he offered to come out in the evening). Glenn came today to check the unit without any hesitation, and he was very helpful in explaining to me what was going on. Highly recommend Glenn and Allstars electric!

Very highly recommended. Glenn and crew are incredible when it comes to quality, customer care and responsiveness. This is a company that puts their customer above all else and it shows in every step of the process.We have been having some serious issues with our air conditioning, but with our home warranty (LandmarkHW) and the budget contractor (Sunrise Home Services) that they brought in only lead us down a path of several visits, poorly planned fixes and more than 2 weeks without air conditioning. Not to mention a lot of other additional costs. After talking with several other people and contractors it was looking like a full AC replacement was imminent. So after dealing with the headaches, I scrolled through yelp and found Allstars, which had a lot of good reviews and offered 24-hour service. We called them that evening and within an hour Glenn called us and after explaining the details of our issues to him, he showed us how a quality contractor should respond in these situations. First, he immediately understood the technical side of our issues and presented to us a few options and which ones he recommends. Second, unlike our home warranty company and the previous contractor, he understood the pain this has caused us and with urgency he changed all of his arrangements to have his top crew out to our house first thing in the morning, a truck backed up to a Trane facility just as it opened and he would stop by beforehand to verify site conditions and AC conditions before he can give us a final quote. As he promised, everything happened according to plan. By the end of the day they had removed all of my old components and replaced with new components and they did a remarkable job. They clearly took a lot of pride in this work and now I take a lot of pride knowing that this AC unit is the right size, correctly configured with no expense spared. They even threw in a box of filters and explained to me the importance of changing these out. They also followed up with call the next day to make sure everything was working properly and it was.

We noticed our air wasn’t working around 7:15pm. We called Allstars at 7:30pm and they had Glenn make it to our house by 8:00pm. He quickly fixed outdoor unit within 40 minutes. Our air conditioner broke on a Friday afternoon. Saturday morning we called another company and when they came they stated that we probably needed a new thermostat. We replaced the thermostat and the a/c still didnt work. The technician then stated that the circuit boards were probably at fault and those cost $1000 a piece so he suggested we were better off just getting a new unit. We arent at a position to get a new unit so we called Allstars for a second opinion. Glenn came over that Saturday afternoon. We chose Allstars since they offered anytime service and they also supported electrical issues which we figured our a/c had. Glenn came and started troubleshooting right away. Even after he made the a/c work by replacing a burnt switch, he still wanted to find the root cause of the problem and fix it. After his perseverance he found the issue and we feel confident now that we wont see any more issues with the a/c for a good while. Due to Glenns expertise in electrical work, I would fully recommend him to anyone looking for a/c repair over any other a/c repair technician. He actually took the time to look into the problem instead of just trying to sell me a new unit.

I needed a new heatpump along with all the ancillary upgrades needed for moving from a 30-year old unit to a brand new one. I also needed new ductwork as some of the insulation had rotted away. When Glenn was quoting the job, he explained what I needed and showed me why. When it came time to install it, he and his crew showed up early and didnt waste time. They came in, got work, and cleaned up after themselves. It didnt even look like I had a crew in my house at all!Glenn even talked me out of a more expensive unit because I didnt really need it. The difference in price wasnt too much, but he explained the specifications on the unit I was being quoted by other companies and the one I ended up purchasing. The only difference was price and the name stamped on the side.They do a great job and will treat you right. They didnt gouge me on price and the workmanship was top notch. I would definitely recommend using these guys if you need A/C or electric work done.

I had a bad system that would not keep me cool in the summer. Allstars came out and recommended I get a system that was suitable for my size house. After the professional and quick install, my house stays cool and my electricity usage went down. Apparently my old system was not able to keep up and had to run longer and would not even keep my house cool. Glenn is very professional and his appearance is the way a service individual should be, not like some one that came out of sewage work.

I called and he was so friendly and helpful.Once he got to our house under 2 hours later & he was both professional and honest. He told us what we needed and also what we could add on to ensure our system would last many more years.We liked that he never pressured us and explained/showed us everything he was doing.I would have given five stars except his parts prices were way higher than if I were to just buy it from Home Depot.Its the disadvantage as a consumer of being in an emergency situation and needing someone to fix something ASAP...you pay for it.

In Texas, when your air goes out, you need someone fast. I called at 3 pm on a holiday weekend and someone was here working on the problem in two hours. The next day I got a new system, including the outside unit, furnace, and even new duct work.As it turns out, the home builder didnt do the right thing when building the house, and the unit kept freezing up. I had a dozen AC people look at it. No one could figure it out until Glen and William came along. If it hadnt been for them, I would have gotten a new system and it would have kept freezing - because behind the scenes - a place no one had looked - the builder had made the air flow duct work smaller than it was supposed to be to cut corners and make the original unit fit. If I had not of trusted my instinct and chosen Allstars I really cant imagine what I would have been in for.If you need experts and you want a fair price, fast service, and great communication, this is your company. I know far more than most when it comes to ACs now! And Glen called just to check in on me a few days later - and even threw in a few upgraded thermostats and filters.Cant say enough good things - Joli

Glenn came out on a Saturday and took care of my mobile homes electrical problems quickly. Its been about a month since and everything is still perfect. Glenn is very professional and probably one of the best in the business. The only reason I didnt go five stars was the price. It was over 1,000.00 for the main breaker and three other breakers plus an outlet problem. Really, I didnt have the chance to compare prices with other electricians because he was the only one I spoke with that would come out last minute on a Saturday. I guess you get what you pay for.

Glenn came out and did a great job. We bought a house and had list of over a dozen problems with electric and A/C. Just some of the issues were: outlets that didnt work, ceiling fans and 3-way light switches that were wired incorrectly, recessed lighting fixture that was damaged, water coming from the A/C secondary drain. We had five other companies work on the A/C problem and werent able to fix it. Glenn fixed it the first time.It was really convenient that he is a Master Electrician and has an HVAC license and could do all the repairs himself. And the thing that worried us most was that our lights got very dim or bright when appliances turned on. He measured voltages at the meter and found the problem was not in our house, but with the power company. Oncor came and fixed it in a few minutes (for free). The repairman told me that when I told him what Glenn had found, he knew exactly what the problem was, and fixed a connection in the transformer.Were very happy customers! I will call him again when our 17 year-old A/C compressor goes out.

Our A/C stopped cooling yesterday morning on what was predicted to be the hottest day of the year. I made several calls in vain yesterday trying to find an A/C company to come out to service our unit. Glenn at Allstars squeezed us in that evening between 5 and 7 pm. He showed up within the allocated time frame and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in less than 30 minutes. Glenn and his assistant truly saved the day for us.

Our AC went out on a Saturday in the summer Texas heat. Glenn and his son Alex came out on a Saturday for us and had us back up and running extremely quickly. They replaced our breaker box and fixed the problem we were having. We have 3 young children so this was crucial we got this fixed ASAP. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Glenn came out by 9:30 am on a Saturday. Our upstairs unit needed a very costly repair and he worked with us on the cost to replace our 13 year old unit with a newer one. Our downstairs unit quit working by the afternoon too and he worked until 9pm to get us and our 2 small children air. They are installing our new unit tomorrow morning to have us all set. I was searching Angies List and the GLBT - Dallas Voice Yellow Pages one morning searching for an electrician. I was converting an electric HWH in my home to gas and wanted to use the 230V line to run a window unit AC in my attic bedroom and bath. Allstars ad in the GLBT Yellow pages caught my eye and I called.The owner, Glenn, answered the phone listened to my request, asked some pertinent questions and made an appointment to meet at my home later that morning. He assessed the house and the small laundry list of items related to electric service/repair and wrote up a proposal/contract.I paid 1/2 down and he promised to be back in a couple of hours with supplies. He had two very clean cut and polite young guys working with him and they completed all my work, including installing the new window unit a/c by 10 PM that evening.It was a good expereince and I intend to use Allstars for any future electrical repairs/needs and for servicing my central HVAC system.
