Air Oracle handles our HVAC system since we got a Trane unit installed by them August 2020. Had to call them more than a couple of times for maintenance, including needing refrigerant, fan motor replacement, capacitor issues, and then this time the compressor. Also found out that the coil and the valve needs replacing. So, new coils and valve and compressor, but had to call again because the thermostat reading is still 79-80 after 3 hours. They came back and did adjustments. Now it’s 2 hours after and the thermostat still reads 78. I’m going to give this overnight, and hoping the temperatures stabilize and stay where I want them to be especially tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed. Unit warranty is a good thing but the professionalism of this company is another level. Thanks to the crew that did the hard work. And thanks to James and Mary Ann as well.

Air oracle is our go to AC repair! Alex is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Friendly and honest. Prices aren’t the cheapest but not the most expensive, just fair for great service. The office is super responsive to calls and they strive to get someone out ASAP. We’ve had one unit replaced with them and several service and maintenance repairs. Thank you air oracle.

Air Oracle and the owner James, have been by far the best HVAC company that I have used. James came out one night close to 10pm because he was in the area and wanted to do what he could to resolve our ac issues. I was outside helping him diagnose the problems for over an hour in the dark with flashlights. He tried everything he could to fix the issue that night but unfortunately it could not be fixed and needed a new compressor. He went to the parts warehouse first thing the next morning and picked it up and had a crew out to install it the same day. He even took the time to chat with me and answer any questions I had. He is one of the nicest and most honest people I have had come to do work on my house. If you are looking for a small family style HVAC company that is honest and reasonable pricing, go with James and his team at Air Oracle.

Great experience! The initial call with the woman over the phone was pleasant. It was same day service and she was even able to move the time earlier. The Technician Duke is awesome! He was friendly and straight-forward. He quickly diagnosed the issue and checked the entire system finding the issue to be an old capacitor. He had a spare in the truck and swapped out parts and rechecked the system for overall function. I will be using Air Oracle again and would highly recommend others to do so as well.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our upstairs a/c finally kicked the bucket a few weeks ago. Air oracle was able to get a new one installed for us within 24 hours. They provided us with balancing that we needed for our vents and also included a great warranty on their work and the unit. The cost was extremely reasonable and well worth it. Such a nice experience from beginning to end!

I am really glad that I found Air Oracle. I have been trying different companies and often feel like they are upselling me on things I don’t need. Recently, I had another company come for a spring cleaning and they told me that I need thousands of dollars worth of repairs and even told me I should consider replacing my AC. I found this surprising since I haven’t had any issues with it. I looked at my community Facebook page and saw that Air Oracle came highly recommended. They came for a second opinion and gave me an easy solution at a fair price. Not only that but they worked around my work schedule and offered me discounts that I didn’t even ask for. I could tell that they cared more about building a long term work relationship based on trust than making a quick buck. When I spoke to the original company that quoted me as needing much more work done, they watched the videos that my technician made and the manager admitted that based on his technician’s video, my unit was misdiagnosed. While the manager explained that this was an innocent mistake, the mistake would have cost me thousands of dollars. I am grateful that I have found and honest and competent company that I will stay with for years to come. Thank you Air Oracle!

We are just getting quotes to replace both of our HVAC system. The tech came out was very friendly and professional asked questions about the system we are looking for. Took pictures of the space for the furnaces and of outside units. Even took the time to put my dog at ease as she gets nervous around strangers. So far the experience has been good. I accepted the quote and installation quick and professional. It was raining heavy after they started the installation and despite that they did not track any mud on floors or carpet. The only mud on the floor was in the foot prints of my Ms Marley. The only complaint I have is that I asked that good heavy duty plastic drain pan instead of a metal drain pan because I have had so many metal drain pans leak, hence the 4.9 rating.

I needed a full replacement of my largest gas heat/air unit. If I could give everyone I dealt with from this company 10 stars I would. I have never had such good service from a company in my life. James, the owner and his office staff Amy and made sure I understood all my options, made sure the unit size was correct and gave me numerous options I could consider that met my needs. I had a lot of questions so their patience with me was commendable. My husband of 55 years recently passed away so this was my first time doing this on my own. It was scary, but I was able to do this with their help. The installers Ivan and Josue worked hard all day without taking a break. They explained everything to me and the office even filed the warranty for me. The installers covered all the floors and left my house perfectly clean even though I told them I would clean up after they left. It was at least 104 today outside so the attic was a lot hotter than that. I never saw them even take a break. This company and all staff are extraordinary. Before I found James and Air Oracle, you never knew what you were going to get for service from any number of HVAC companies. High prices, inexperience and I never felt like i could truly trust any of them. Enter James Garner and his company of experienced technicians and installers and all my worries have gone away. I have been utilizing Air Oracle for over 10 years now. The systems I had were nursed as well as they could be until it was time to replace them. One unit lasted 25 years and the other that just died, hit 30 years. My last unit quit this last Friday and late Saturday morning, James and Ivan were out with a new unit and did a fantastic job. Friendly, knowledgable, fast and honest, not much more you can ask for from your HVAC company.

Noticed an issue with our HVAC not cooling the upstairs. Called Air Oracle early the next morning and James had an opening to come out later that afternoon. Him and his team figured out the issue promptly, ordered the necessary parts, and came back to fix the issue within a couple days. Thankfully, this was in the middle of the winter and it was nice and cool outside so I didnt have to sit in the hot Houston heat of the summer. We were experiencing slow cooling from our AC unit during 100 degree weather. We had just moved into the home and were unsure whether it was an issue or a performance limitation due to the hot weather. We were able to have a service technician come out within two days of calling to schedule an appointment. An issue was found with the Freon levels and pressures, and the technician (Omar) was extremely knowledgeable and thorough and did a great job of explaining the cause, repair and future maintenance that we may expect to need based on the current condition of the equipment. A follow up appointment was scheduled so that he could confirm that the repair had fixed the issue. Very pleased with our experience and grateful to have a properly functioning unit for the hot Texas summer weather.

Other companies would just spend a few minutes and then be done. James is the owner and even came out and did my fall check himself.I renewed my plan again this year. James and his team go above and beyond and do the very best for each and every customer. I bought my house knowing that the AC/heating system was going to have to be replaced pretty soon. James actually gave me many additional years on my unit and did everything he could to keep it going without nickel and dimeing me. The time finally came for a new unit this past week. Not only did he give me an incredibly great price, I was taken care of so quickly. On Monday morning I woke up to my AC frozen, called his office, had service technicians at my house before 12 PM. Found out the horrible news that it was time to replace. James had his team go above and beyond to make sure that my A/C was at least going for the temporary while he got a quote to me for the new unit. I received the quote Monday evening. I agreed to it Tuesday morning. Wednesday morning at 8 AM his team were there ready to install. They were extremely professional, clean, and so fast! James, of course stopped in in-between other service appointments to check on their progress, to talk with me to make sure I knew all that I needed to about the new system, and to let me know he was just a phone call away if anything was needed. He even had one of his office workers stop by to have me sign some paperwork so they could take care of all the little things that were needed including the warranty, etc. It was such an easy process and great customer service! James - he cares about people first. That is reflected in his team and with his quality of work. Just can not get any better!

I would like to personally thank James and Ivan of Air Oracle. I have been dealing with ac issues for 9 years. Over the years I have had 6 other ac companies and a HVAC consultant come out to not only diagnose my home’s issue but provide a solution. Everyone seemed to have a different idea about how to solve the problems but no one was sure it would fix all of my issues. All of the ac companies wanted to sell me brand new equipment. The HVAC consultants even suggested selling my home due to the amount of money I would have to spend to fix the issue. Not one of them would even attempt to crawl through my attic to look at my ducts due to how tight the space was and all were afraid that they would just cause more damage. The HVAC consultants wanted to charge thousands of dollars just to disconnect ducts to analyze my attic.I called Air Oracle and explained my situation to one of the office assistants and asked that James come out and look at my situation. James and Ivan came out. They took time to listen to me and the things that have been tried and proposed of the last 9 years. James and Ivan both went up into the attic and somehow Ivan was able to go where no one has gone before without disconnecting the existing ducts. After about an hour they came down and explained what they found and said that even though my situation was very unique, they felt they could fix my existing system. James put together a comprehensive proposal. After talking to him one last time I agreed with the proposal.Ivan and his assistant showed up on time and spent the entire day making adjustments and fixing existing problems. Ivan took time to answer my questions through the day. I really like that he provided before and after pics. During the day one of my walls was accidently damaged. Ivan apologized for the accident and assured me they would take care of it. The next day the office was calling me to apologize again and wanted to schedule a time for a person to come and repair the damage. The day after that the person was at my home to make the repairs. James, Ivan and the team at Air Oracle were great. They were very professional, honest, and did not try to sell me things I did not need. They took the time to explain in detail their plain to fix my issues and answer all of my questions. I am so happy to now have a system that works! If you want an honest and trustworthy company then you need to call Air Oracle.

Definately call James Garner of Air Oracle . Weve been using him for around 7 years with servicing and new installs at both homes.Air Oracle recently replaced our 4 ton unit for downstairs with an 18 SEER variable speed Trane on Dec 20th, 2020.I had no idea what I missing till I got a variable speed.His prices are lower than many because they dont have a fleet of trucks with logos all over, no brick and mortar store, and no advertising. Thus low overhead and savings gets passed on to customer. But most important hes honest and excellent work.His first visit to us was 10:30pm on a Sunday and finished up around midnight. Felt sorry for us with an infant in a hot house and didnt charge us a penny, nor would he take any money. We finally convinced him to take a bottle of wine home for his wife.During one visit he said his service charge was X amount and part would be $25. I thought very reasonable. He came out next day and said he got the part cheaper at $19 and saved us $6. A small amount but showed how honest he was.

I have seen rave reviews about Air Oracle, and had been planning to make a preventative appointment with them... but our A/C died on us sometime yesterday (we didnt realize it until after dinner). I left a message this morning, and Victor returned the call. He said they were jammed today, but would look into getting someone out to us. At 10:15 am, he called to let us know that he could have someone out in the next 1-2 hours, by 11:35 am James was here to check things out. Once he opened up the condenser unit, he was sure it was the capacitor. Tested it, replaced it with a new one, and the fan blades on the unit started to turn. Fifteen or so minutes later, we started getting air blowing in. Yay! Now its 12:40 pm, our indoor temp has dropped 2° and our humidity level has dropped 5%. Im glad Victor and James worked it out to get us squared away so quickly, especially with my father-in-law living with us (he didnt complain, but were sure that he was struggling a little bit). James was a delight to work with today, and hope to see him again in the future for preventative maintenance.
