2024 update. Had Ryan come do our heating check. Did some maintenance. Learned their company also does duct and dryer vent cleaning. Had Ethan and Preston come to do vents and ductwork cleaning and wow! It is great. More air flow and cleaner air!! First time for 20 year old home. This will be on our reg maintenance list in the future! Thanks to AC Pros for their help in keeping our home humming !2023 Update: Ethan came out today (sat) to get our large AC unit going again! Clogged drain line from our wonderful summer full of humidity and extreme heat! He did a great job for us, as is usual for this company!!We have used ACPros master plumber Doug before. He installed a new water heater and updates. Now Doug and Ethan saved us today as out PRV near water meter started leaking. Just after the cold front blew through at 27 degrees and super windy! They got the leak stopped until we can replace!I highly recommend this company for hvac and plumbing.

I highly recommend AC Pros! I had a major issue with my heating system and Ethan, Doug, and Ty did an excellent job installing a brand new system. It was a long and difficult job because the units had to go into the ceiling but they were friendly and professional the entire time and got it working. I really appreciated that they brought tarps with them to cover all my carpets while they worked. These three technicians deserve major kudos for their hard work on this job. In addition, the technician Ryan came by a few days later to check on things and helped make sure everything was working. Ryan helped diagnose the issues earlier in the process too a few months back and was also professional and knowledgeable.I would also like to commend the office staff that handled all the booking. I had multiple back and forths and complex issues and they were extremely accommodating and responsive to all of my requests. I also really appreciate how the scheduling goes through my texts and I get notifications about the technicians arrival.This entire project was particularly painful for me due to the nature of the issues but AC Pros made the process so much easier. I will absolutely be using them again in the future. Thanks again!

I have been using AC Pros for a few years now. The first time was on a recommendation from a neighbor when I was able to get a day-of appointment with Ryan B. to fix my HVAC who was great. Later on when I had another issue, Michael A. was very professional, informative, made me feel very comfortable and walked me through the repairs and options in ways I could easily understand it.I have since gotten an annual maintenance plan that comes with water heater maintenance. Doug P. who serviced my water heater was amazing, and also was professional, informative, and patient. None of the technicians ever tried to upsell or take advantage of me. They would give me advice on maintenance, things to monitor and look out for between services as well as provide quotes on options for future service that I could look into and decide later on. I cant recommend them enough.

Recently signed up for an AC Pros maintenance plan and had my first visit. Michael Anderson performed my HVAC maintenance and Doug Peterson drained and checked my water heaters. Both were very professional and knowledgeable. I spent several minutes with Micheal asking various questions I had about my system, all of which he answered very thoroughly. After letting Doug know that I wanted to have water alarms added to my water heater pans, he realized he did not have the two alarms on hand. He left to restock and came back promptly to finish the service the same day. Before each of them left, they made sure they had answered any questions or addressed any other concerns I had. Very pleased with everything about my first experience. I had been putting off purchasing a maintenance plan for some time, but after getting great reviews from two friends, I decided to go with AC Pros and I’m glad I did.

Doug was very informative of what was occurring in my home in regards to my plumbing concerns when coming out for a diagnostic visit. He thoroughly checked over the areas of concern and provided detailed information on what to look out for if it became a major issue and gave recommendations on what could be potentially fixed now. The estimates were sent through email to review, if we decided to continue with the work if required.I would call AC Pros again for my plumbing concerns, based on my experience with Doug.

Doug came early during the scheduled time frame to do the requested water heater maintenance. He would have been here earlier, but I was in a dentist chair with my mouth full of tools and couldnt talk with him to say OK. He got here and got started right away on the water heater inspection. All I had to do was flip the breakers to the heater and stay out of his way. He knew exactly what to do, and not do. I had requested a check of the anode, but Doug was here to do the new water heater installation and suggested it was to soon to check the anode, as it had been only about 20 months since installation. I listened to what he said and, based on my own prior experiences, agreed that I should wait until the heater has more time in service. When all was done, he explained the companys new maintenance plans to me. I decided which plan I wanted, he wrote it up, got my signatures and credit card, and we finalized the visit. Within a few minutes I received the invoice for the visit and maintenance plan renewal. Doug is a true professional and very knowledgeable about his work. He is very thorough in explaining what he plans to do and why and is very patient in explaining the answers to any questions I ask. It is truly a pleasure to work with AC Pros HVAC and their crews. We have been customers for ten or twelve years now, so I can recommend them very highly.

A/C Pros is professional, trustworthy and did a great job replacing my air conditioning units and now they work well and crank cold air fast. Im very particular about people in my home and have always felt comfortable with any one of them here.After the great February 2021 snowstorm my heating went out. The technician, Mark came to fix it and was respectful, clean and thoughtful, Much to my surprise, not only he do a fantastic job, I also genuinely enjoyed his company and conversation. Big shout out and thanks to you, Mark! Michael is great too! Noah is consistently in good communication and the office ladies, Katrina and Rachel are problem solvers and work hard with challenges. I highly recommend these guys and will continue to go with them for electrical and plumbing repairs and installs.

Doug and Ethan came out today and installed a new water heater at our house, and Im very happy with both their professionalism as well as the quality of the work they did. They arrived during the window given, explained exactly what needed to be done (in this case, temporarily removing some of the molding around the heater closer door), and took care to replace and recaulk once they were done.This is the second time weve had AC Pros come and do work for us - Mark replaced our HVAC system back in February when it stopped heating during a cold snap - and both times the crew has been prompt, professional, and have gone above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. I highly recommend their service, and will be using them in the future!

Had them successfully unclog a drain line that was backing up a few weeks ago and then had a standard service check done on my two units today. Both techs (Mark then Michael) were on time, very friendly, and informative. The service check came back with a couple of repair recommendations, although I decided to hold off for now. As a numbers guy, I do like how they have good notes on the invoice detailing their observations and results of the various tests on the units for future reference.

I use AC Pros at both my home and by business and have had only positive experiences. I have had both Mark Franklin, and Michael Anderson as my technicians and they are both terrific. They both did great work, and fixed what needed to be fixed, let me know some areas of concern, but for those there was no hard-push up sale or pressure, just professionally pointed things out and showed me and let me make my own decision to address it or hold off. I have an on going maintenance contract for both home and office and recommend them. And working with Katrina in the office on scheduling was also great, in particular she operated via text and email rather than phone voice at my preference, which due to my work allowed be to multi-task setting up appointments.

They did an excellent job and we have not had any issues at all during the years we’ve been doing business with them. Also, they always leave their work area exceptionally clean.Recently, Doug who is a master plumber with the company helped us with a problem we had with low water pressure after a major storm in our area. He took the precautions necessary to protect everyone in the home by wearing a mask, gloves and shoe covers the whole time he was here. He was dedicated to finding and correcting our problem and went out of his way to pick out the perfect faucets based on my description. I’m very happy with my home today because of their service and I trust them to help me with anything in the future!

I could not be more pleased with the two systems that were installed at my home, how well they have performed (our home is comfortable 24x7x365, and my electric bills are down by 40+% consistently). I am very lucky to have found this team as they came out and got my system working within 24 hours. Rachel contacted me within the hour after I posted an online inquiry to their service. Ryan came out the next day to repair the issue which was a dead battery in our system. He went and did a full diagnostic on both units and had my family and guests cool and comfortable. We were fortunate to stumble upon AC Pros when we purchased our Austin home in 2016. AC Pros is a local company and they are owned and run by local resident Noah Franklin, so they have a vested interest in making customers happy. AC is a necessity here in central Texas and AC Pros is responsive, they do quality work and install quality products. They are clean and punctual, and dont gouge you on the price. They offer annual maintenance plans that are reasonably priced and insure that you will get service quickly should you need it. Highly recommend Noah and his knowledgeable crew!

I cannot give them enough stars! We had been without A/C in 95+ degree weather for nearly 3 weeks. Our home warranty company was dragging their feet. I gave up and fired them, called AC Pros. On Monday, Mark came out, listened, gave our system a thorough check, then gave us replacement options. Our unit was 20 years old, so repairs are no longer an option. That night, we got an email with complete descriptions and costs. We called back with our decision. Our system was installed on Wednesday! Noah, the owner, even worked with us to iron out a wrinkle in the payments.I cannot say enough positive about them! They are even coming back in a week to make sure everything is good. All I know, is I slept well last night for the first time in 3 weeks. Our new system is quieter, and my house is cool. Thank you!

My AC system abruptly stopped and wouldnt respond to the thermostat. The dispatcher answered the phone promptly and set me up with a service visit for the same afternoon. Ryan came out, immediately diagnosed the problem as a blocked condensation line. Ryan also installed an APCO air purifier to our system. When the first drain cleaner fail to completely clear the condensation line, the company sent Doug, their plumber, who reclined the line at no extra charge. Everyone at this company has been courteous, knowledgable and professional. I highly recommend them.

Over six years, NINE previous HVAC companies failed to identify and repair a simple yet continual problem in one of my units. Noah came to the rescue, quickly identified the issue, and fixed my pesky HVAC unit (reversed condensation lines).Michael and Ryan have come out each spring and fall to check out the system and perform seasonal maintenance, and they have always been on time, professional and polite.When the aging units began to fail, Mark provided several recommendations for replacements, discussing each option in detail so that I could make the best-informed decision about which systems would be the best for my home. He also provided information regarding available financing and warranty information on each unit.Katrina in the office is great. I have limited phone access while I am working, and she is excellent about texting me to keep me in the loop with any scheduling, service changes, etc.When the new systems were installed, Ty and Dom were polite, friendly, and professional and took great care in protecting my home and my indoor pets throughout the removal and installation of the new HVAC systems.In addition to their professionalism, I most appreciate two features of AC Pros: the office sends a text message approximately 30 minutes before a technician arrives, with a photo and a bit of background on them, so I know who to expect when I answer the door. And the technicians always apply shoe covers to protect my floors and not bring dirt into the house.After having used just about every other major HVAC company in Austin in the past, I simply cannot recommend AC Pros enough. Hands down, the most prompt, professional, proficient, courteous, and friendly staff in town!

Mac, Josh, and Noah exceeded my expectations! I received 3 quotes for an HVAC replacement of 2 units. Noah from AC Pros gave me the most comfort that I was dealing with a company that was primarily interested in doing a great job at a fair price. The other two companies, despite having great ratings, seemed more interested in making a sale (almost used-car-salesmen like tactics). Price-wise, AC Pros was much more flexible and a pleasure to deal with. Mac and Josh did the majority of the install and Noah came in to do QC checks and complete some specialty items I had requested. They were always polite and were dedicated to doing their job well. HVAC technicians from other companies havent always had that kind of can-do attitude. It was relief having a company that prioritized good work over turning a profit. A lot of that is in the attitude and demeanor of the employees. If you want a job done well at a fair price, I cant recommend AC Pros enough. Jon was great in explaining the thermostat and APP so we could control everything from our phones. Update: Noah, owner, contacted me to see what was wrong as I had left a voicemail too. Pretty much I talked and he listened. He explained his side and asked if he could come over and check the AC himself. I agreed that was a good idea. Turned out the fan motor needed to be replaced ( which is what I figured in the first place) He was here over an hour as he took the pressure off the system and, when it was safe, put in a new fan motor. He did not charge me anything. I did offer to pay for the part but not the labor as Noah should not have had to come here. He was very knowledgeable and found it pretty much right away. Very nice guy! I am updating this as I would use Noah again. I have to say his technician is also a very nice guy BUT I wouldn’t use him. PS the 5 stars are for Noah.They don’t have a rating less than 1 star. Very ticked off. AC Pros came out to fix the outside AC unit that wouldn’t turn on but it was working when they showed up. It was a user error thing. I figured the fan motor or capacitor. Well, it was 2 capacitors. I didn’t bother to look at the bill until today when it is barely keeping up again after 2 hugely overpriced capacitors and 3 lbs of Refrigerant. Well, what the technician didn’t know is I was raised by an HVAC man.Long story short, they were here 2 days ago, I finally saw the invoice and lost it, and they I feel the price was high. I have now called another AC company that can be trusted! They will fit us in and get it fixed properly. Feel free to get a quote and then get a second opinion because you will be overcharged and it still isn’t working . If it was good workmanship, it wouldn’t be 84 degrees in the house right now when the thermostat is set to 73.

Our A/C stopped cooling in the early hours of Monday, May 10. A/C Pros had installed our system a little over a year ago so I called Katrina (at AC Pros) around 7:30AM to schedule a service call. She was able to get me on the schedule for a same-day afternoon service call and dispatched tech, Mark Franklin, to check out the A/C. Mark was on time and after a short diagnosic process he found the problem to be a bad compressor capacitor. He had one in stock on his truck and was able to have our A/C back in service in less than 30 minutes after his diagnosis. After he got the unit back on line, he proceeded to check the amperage draws on the compressor and condenser fan motor to make sure nothing was damaged by the capacitor failure and found all to be AOK. He also checked the line voltage to confirm it was not a power supply problem that caused the capacitor to fail, also AOK. He then checked the cooling inside and confirmed that everything was working as it should. Mark was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and made sure to follow all the Covid-19 protocols. Long story short, I would recommend A/C Pros to anyone who needs a great A/C contractor for repairs or new equipment sales.

Jon did a great job. Quickly diagnosed the issue, a bad capacitor and the least expensive problem. Did not have the exact part, but was able to get us up and running with a combination of other parts. Then acquired the correct part from the supply depot and came back and installed it the same day. He also diagnosed that we were a little low on freon and added a pound during the same service call. Lastly, he investigated a hot spot condition in our house, shared options for addressing it (for a later time if we decide to pursue that option) and fixed a couple of air leak issues in the attic at no extra charge.

I couldnt be happier with the service I received from Noah at AC Pros. I was expecting to have to replace my entire A/C because that is what another company told me, and i was just looking for a quote. Instead, Noah quickly found the leak in my condenser coils, which were still under warranty. It took a while to get the replacement coil, but when we did, Noah promptly installed it and got my unit back up and cooling. All in, it cost less than 10% of what a replacement A/C would have cost.

Our experience with AC Pros was excellent. Two technicians came out initially and checked our air conditioners and water heaters. Both gentleman were very thorough. We were especially pleased when Michael went up to the attic and found that the the evaporator coil was malfunctioning with ice build-up. We knew that the air conditioner had to be replaced because of the inability of the unit to cool our home last summer. Everything proceeded uneventfully with the installation of a new Trane furnace and AC. However, the AC had a tendency to turn off especially as the day progressed. AC Pros conducted a logical step-by-step process to correct the problem. Noah thought the problem was due to the drain lines being clogged. He removed material from the end of the drain line outside which release a torrent of water. Noah then pressurized the line and added a declogger. The AC has worked flawlessly since then.

A couple of years ago, the AC didnt seem to be working. I called AC Pros, and they would have been here the same day just a couple of hours after I called. I asked if they could come the next morning instead. They arrived promptly the next day and didnt charge me because the compressor was working.I called this June to have them check the AC to make sure it was going to be okay for the rest of the summer because it didnt seem to be running very efficiently. I decided to replace the compressor versus repairs since I will be abroad most of the summer. All the staff was professional and friendly.

Our heater went out (would not turn off, and was not blowing hot air) on Thursday March 5th. We called AC PROS around 5 pm, and got a service technician out around 7:30 pm ( he was on another service call). Ryan came out and saw the issue with the heater (computer board went out). He said that if the board was in stock with the manufacturer, he could have the repair done the next day, Friday March 6th.Thankfully, the part was in, and Noah, the company owner, reserved a 2-4 pm slot for that day. Well, he came over early around1:30pm, and was done within 20 minutes of tinkering with the system.Fast, prompt, and kind service, thats what these guys are all about. 5+ Stars for their service. Small company attention, big company resultsOur 13-year-old AC unit suddenly quit working on a recent Saturday. After trying to call the usual high-volume suspects, we found AC Pros HVAC through Angie’s List. After seeing numerous positive reviews, we contacted owner Noah Franklin, who was able to squeeze us in to inspect the AC the same day. With the other companies service was unavailable until the following Tuesday...unacceptable in the middle of summer in Texas.Our HVAC unit needed to be replaced. Noah provided us with three replacement options at different price points. He also provided the pros and cons of each option and fully answered all of the questions we had. In doing so, we felt like we were making an informed choice based on facts, not sales pressure (we did not go with the most expensive option). The installation was done in a professional manner and to our total satisfaction. Noah provided what we had hoped for – personal attention and quality service at a fair price. AC Pros HVAC did a complete system replacement in our condo in Lago Vista, Texas. The original equipment which is about 9 years old and hopelessly inadequate. The house was never comfortable before. If the third floor was comfortable, people at ground level were freezing. If people downstairs were comfortable, upstairs was hot.We opted for a 2 speed variable, zoned system. AC Pros did a great job on the install and balanced the system so we no longer have any hot spots. Now we can control the top and bottom floors individually and everybody is comfortable.Great job. Good price. Excellent service. We have already recommended AC Pros to others and will continue to do so.
