    Zinsmeyer was the only local company to return our emergency call on 4th of July- understandably it’s the holiday BUT we need A/C in this Texas heat! They came out as soon as they had a chance later the same day. Marco provided us with the diagnostic and Leslie assisted in ordering our parts and keeping us updated. They installed a few days later (was 96 inside) and we’re back to normal thank God. I Will Recommend Zinsmeyer to everyone moving forward 😀

    We had an air conditioner issue and called Zinsmeyer for service as our other company eliminated our area from service. Omar came out and was on time and personable. He told us a couple tricks and tips regarding our system. Plus fixed the issue. We set up an annual contract. Very happy with the service and pricing.     I can’t say enough great things about this company! I went local because we live in a small town & believe in going local…& my elder family knew the Zinsmeyers. First time we used their company & we called at 7a, within an hour their service expert Omar was at our house working to fix our a/c.     Zinsmeyer is so reliable with fair pricing too! Leslie, their scheduler, was able to get help out to us the same day when our A/C went out. She was such a nice and helpful person.     This is a great company. I called to get pricing for a service call. I was able to get a proper explanation on pricing and the membership they offer. I was able to get a same day appointment as well thanks to the office. Leslie made sure to let me know when my technician was on the way. Great service and issue fixed right away.

    I 100% recommend Zinsmeyer Air Conditioning & Heating. Our AC went out late one evening and we called them early the following morning. Leslie was very helpful and said they would have their technician come to our home between 1 and 2 pm that same day but to my surprise the technician Eron arrived an hour and a half earlier than expected which was fantastic!Eron diagnosed the problem quickly and gave us our options for repair. He then advised us every step of the way during the repair. Eron is a great technician very professional, informative and friendly. Also due to the great service we received we signed up for their Annual Membership (for a reasonable fee) where they will come to our home twice a year and check that our system is working properly. Once again Thanks Eron and Zinsmeyer Air Conditioning & Heating!

He was able to determine the cause of the problem and install a new thermostat to keep it from happening again. He also gave us an idea of what to do if it should ever happen in the future but he stated that was unlikely since the new thermostat should prevent the issue. Great service !!

    Update: November 28, 2023Omar arrived on time and proceeded to check out the gas heater/ furnace unit. All is good.Omar checked out our outside A/C unit this past summer - in the middle of the Texas heat wave in late August. He recommended that we probably need to change or replace our 16 year old unit.We got a quote from his company in early September but at that time, the company was in the middle of being sold. Our quote got sidelined. We will revisit the HVAC system in the next couple of months. Winter in Texas doesn’t last that long. It will be warm again in 12 weeks!Another update: May 2023Our variable blower motor went out so Zinsmeyer came out to replace it. Eric, who was the tech sent to diagnose and replace the blower motor was wonderful and efficiently checked out the entire system. He had the house cooling down on a warm and humid day pretty quickly.Also, he checked the outside unit to make sure everything was working as they should. When he was satisfied, he asked if there were any questions and of course, none because he covered his bases well. Mission accomplished!One thing though. You might want to ask your techs to wear protective cover on their shoes when working inside the house. I had to clean a lot of dirt where the tech walked and worked. He was in and out of the house several times so there was a lot of gritty dirt.Other than that small issue, everything went great.Update:Jose Villareal was the technician that showed up today. I was very impressed because he took his time to do the work that he was suppose to do. He cleaned both filters, and cleaned the outside unit to the point where he got wet!He talked to me about the progress of the work he was doing. He took a longer time than any of the other techs but now I know why. Id rather have somebody as thorough as Jose than somebody who shows up and gets things done in 25 minutes. Thank you, Jose! Keep up the good work!Technician arrived as scheduled. The business office apparently tried to call beforehand but they were using a disconnected phone number. Luckily, the tech showed up anyway. I updated the phone number so they can reach me next time.As far as the maintenance service goes, he serviced the outside unit first and then came inside the house. The tech was quick and efficient. This company shares the same last name as the one that installed the unit 12 years ago. That brother that installed the unit reportedly sold his company to his other brother hence the same last name. No matter, I’m satisfied with the service.I signed a membership agreement with them and according to the tech, we can call them anytime and they will be here to resolve any problem related to the HVAC unit.

    The guys were on time and very professional. They went above and beyond to help us with our many HVAC units (we have 128 apartments). They stayed until the repairs were satisfactory and pointed out items that would need attention in the future. They know their stuff and they are not overpriced.     I have a four year old HVAC system that evaporative coil decided to ice over 15 days ago. I contacted AHS, they sent their contractor who said I was 1 1/2 pounds low on Freon. He serviced and left. The unit continued to ice over. I contacted again and he came back the next day and seemed confused or uncertain on problem or answers. I then contacted the contractor I purchased the unit from and who installed it. They came and said I had 1 1/2 to much Freon and adjusted it accordingly but to address the icing problem they concluded to replace the TXV valve with a piston. They left and the unit continued to ice over. I contacted them again where they said it must be because I was using a MERV 13 filter and recommended a filter no higher than a MERV 4. I had been using the MERV 13 for 4 years with no problems. The first and second contractors could not address what maybe an underlying issue for the icing problem other than the filter. Remembering seeing the Zinsmeyer vans and at my wit’s end , I called. They had a technician show up the same day who assessed the problem, provided detailed information on what was needed and that their office would contact me with an estimate and parts and material availability. They sent another technician the next business day who made the repairs, got my unit up and running. Both technician’s (Marco the first and Eron the second) I dealt with were professional, informed me with what they were doing and why at every step. The technician who made the repairs (Eron) I have to add impressed me in that his motivation seemed to me that he was going to do a job better than what one could imagine. I also have to say that Zinsmeyer’s office staff were equally impressive and professional. Lesley (hopefully I have the spelling right) who did the estimates, locating the parts and scheduling, went above and beyond the call of duty! She made me feel that I was her priority and the results supported that. I have canceled my AHS membership and Zinsmeyer is my go to company. And Eron, last night was the first night I slept peacefully in the last 15 days of this ordeal! Thank y’all!

When my AC went out, I called Zinsmeyer AC&H and Leroy had one on his technicians out within an hour. After diagnosing the problem, he was able to get the unit running to get some cool air going, but the unit needed to be replaced. The next morning he called with a quote and provided me with several options, I made a decision and his team went into action.     STOP! There is no need to shop around anymore!! Zinzmeyer Air Conditioning & Heating is the only AC company to use!! After my original Trane unit finally needed replacing after 23 yrs, Zinzmeyer was the only Trane dealer I was going to call! There reputation for fair and honest AC work is second to none. And not only can you not find a better installer than Zinzmeyer, you can not find better quality products than Trane!!
