I use Work Environmental personally as a friend referred me to them and then I passed along to our Maintenance Director at work. They have been top notch, very responsive, excellent communication and honest in their pricing and they try to save you money as much as they can. I work with the vulnerable elderly and when 1 of their a/c s is having problems, fast response is imperative, and we are a non profit and small business, so we need reasonable pricing. Cody from Work Environmental, Denton, Tx recently performed a thorough and complete inspectipn of HVAC systems (2). He was on time, with a call prior to arrival and got right to work. When finished, we were informed of everything he had checked and given a completed invoice on site. We paid with an old fashioned bank check and received a receipt. He was, thorough, efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. He gets an A+!

What a wonderful experience. I was really stressed when I started having issues with my AC. TJ came out an put me at ease. He found the issue in a matter of minutes. I thought for sure I was going to have to buy a whole new system but turns out it was an inexpensive repair. Five Stars! Work Environmental will always have my business. Andy was the first technician to respond and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He ordered a part and Cody completed the job the next day. We are SO happy!Our system has been out for quite a while. We hired a large company first; a maintenance subscription and four visits later we were told the old blower unit needed to be replaced and a salesperson would contact us. My wife and I decided to research local companies; I was given several references from neighbors on Next Door highly recommending Work Environmental. My old blower has been repaired and is working very well!Being a realist I know I will have to replace the entire upstairs and downstairs units in the next few years; both were installed in 1999. We called Work Environmental on the recommendation of a friend. Their technician Andy came over to assess our system and to correct some problems left by the other company, which we had used for 27 years. Andy effectively took care of the issues we were having and addressed all of my concerns with the cooling problems we were having in the Master Bedroom.They ended up doing some ductwork and adding a vent to that bedroom and it’s comfortable for the first time since the house was built. They discussed everything they were going to do with me and explained how the end result would accomplish what we wanted.The manner in how these people went about this process was outstanding. They took care of all our problems and left everything clean and in order. As for the price, we were very happy.We will only use Work Environmental in the future. They are honest, hardworking and they showed care and respect every step of the way.

We have been without air conditioning for 2 weeks! We submitted a home warranty ticket with a competitor located in Sanger, Texas. That tech told us that we needed a replacement part and have dragged us along for 2 weeks. The tech competition recommended replacement of the AC and possibly the furnace ($5-12k).We called Work Environmental this Wednesday and they sent a tech to give us a quote for a whole new system. The tech arrived Friday morning to take a look and give us a quote. Instead of giving us a quote, our HERO Andy, took a look at the system and FIXED it!It turns out, the tech (Our Hero, Andy) had been here 10 years prior and told us the system just needed a part replaced and he replaced it! We now have cool air flowing through the house. I’m not going to lie, I sobbed before he left the driveway and I really wanted to give him a hug.Save yourself the headache of dealing with so-called “competitors” and just call Work Environmental of Denton. Their technicians have integrity and will get the job done!Thank you, Andy!

Our air air conditioner went out at 7:30 at night. We take care of persons with developmental disabilities who are on medications for seizures and they cannot get overheated. Our home warranty service told us it could be 24 hours before a contractor would call us. It was already 89 degrees inside. Despite telling them it was an emergency, we heard nothing!I called work Environmental and TJ was here in 40 minutes. Had it fixed in 20 minutes! This company is the best! Hands down!

Had our fourteen year old system fully replaced and they did a great job. The ton was the same as old system, yet better energy savings because of there better knowledge and a very competitive price. Don’t be fooled by the highly advertising companies on tv. They tried to screw me big time. Go with the localsIt’s been a few years now since new system install and you all is running smoothly. We did have to replace the control board ( at initial install of new system they told us board would be good for a little bit longer)and we had work environmental replace it before any issues arose. There guys were great and price was fair.Would highly recommend themWell after the new board was installed, we were getting hellacious unbelievably high electric billsCalled Work Environmental and some of there technicians came out to look and they could not figure it out. Then the owner came out and found a wire he said was Substandard lower gage than it should have been ? This wire was as old as the house 19 years, never was a problem before ?Said he ran a new wire and that should solve the problem . Asked why didn’t you guys catch this? We basically had you put in almost a whole new system, except for the flexible vent pipesAsked for some copies of electric bills and gave him some comparable bills from years before.Did not offer to share in the electric bill and billed me for his work/ mistakeSo The company I thought was upstandingIs not so ..it real is terrible when people will not be Accountable for mistakes, people make mistakesBut the bigger person at least admit to a mistake.This is what makes a Business, a great business.I thought David was an old -school Businessman

Called for an AC service check due to an occasional noise coming from the outside unit. They were quick to show up and able to diagnose the issue as something non-critical. I also reached out to them to install new thermostat cabling since it appeared we did not have a common wire. They provided a reasonable quote and we scheduled a time for the fix. Upon further inspection on arrival, the technicians immediately realized that there indeed was a common wire that the previous owners had tucked away in the wall. They retrieved the wire, installed it in the thermostat, and called it “no charge”. Solid, honest service.

These guys are awesome! I just moved to a new house in Lantana and wanted to get the ac systems checked out to make sure they were in tip top shape before the summer heat arrives. Dave came out and did a very detailed inspection and was able to find a few issues that our home inspection overlooked or ignored. Dave took extra time with me to explain what was going on and outlined a plan to fix my problems. He was even able to verify that my ac systems were still under manufacturer warranty. Really happy with the service I received from Work Environmental, Ill definitely be using them again.

This is an updated review from three years ago. A big name company A # blank air said we needed a whole new system. So we called our local work environmental guys and they did the minor repair it needed. Now three years later we decided to do a whole system replacement as the old one is now 14 years old and is not cost effective to replace whats needed . We called work environmental of course. The price was very good and our electric bills are lower for a system that is the same seer and ton .And we even have the A/C set a little lower. The correct installation really does make a difference . And these guys are great ! Would not call anyone else.

This company is amazing, Dave was fantastic. I called them for a second opinion after another company attempted to fix my unit two time unsuccessfully and then said the unit needed to be replaced. Dave took a look at the system and knew what was wrong in 5 minutes. The other technician did not know how to fix the unit, Dave did! I have used Work Environmental Systems for 15 years when they put in a new system for us. Our Trane has been very reliable and efficient, but on few occasions has needed only servicing or light repairs. I have always been able to rely on Work Environmental to arrive quickly and have been extremely happy with their work and technicians. They even came out to remove the decapitated rat (head chopped off by the fan blade) that got into our outdoor unit, haha! We highly recommend this company!

Two different A/C companies insisted that I needed an entirely new HVAC system and quoted me $15,000-18,000. My dental hygienist recommended Work Environmental because they did a fantastic job for her, so I called to schedule a time for them to inspect my current 10 year old equipment and give me an estimate for a complete new system. Dave, the owner, thoroughly looked at everything, asked why I wanted a new system because he said I didnt need one. He recommended I fix my problem, and quoted me a price for repairing my current system ($790). He said that only in specific situations would anyone in Texas need a furnace any sooner than 30 years, and that a 10 year old system used under normal circumstance should only need repairingSo I scheduled a time for the repair. Kyle and TJ came out, on time, and made the repairs. These gentlemen could not have been any more polite, respectful of me and my home, or professional. I also asked them to check the freon levels and ensure that my system was running at its potential. When they finished, they said that all levels were at maximum. (They easily could have said I needed a few pounds, charged me for it, and done nothing because how was I really going to know?)I offered to pay when they left, but they said an invoice would be coming in the mail. I was terrified as to what would it would say. But when it arrived, it was for $790 - even. There were no trip charges, supply charges, etc. They didnt even charge me to check the freon levels.I was prepared to spend $15,000, and was willing to give them all of that money. Even knowing this, Work Environmental only recommended that I spend what I needed to. Their actions speak to the integrity and work ethic of this company and their employees. We will NEVER use anyone else.

Wish all businesses were like Work Environmental! We had used them for routine maintenance but skipped last year because we got a coupon deal from one of the highly advertised electrical/plumbing/A/C companies. Then during this summers drought we needed emergency help on 2 different weekends. We phoned Work Environmental after the coupon place said it would be about 8 hours. Work Environmental had a tech out and our compressor was fixed before noon. A few weeks later the second breakdown happened overnight Saturday, so we called Sunday first thing. My spouse is on meds and cant tolerate the heat. They sent Dave who came within an hour and fixed the compressor.Dave checked the whole system and made recommendations for an additional fresh air return, new compressor and cooling coil since we said we didnt like having the noisy compressor on the back porch and wanted to move it to the side of the house. We trusted his opinion since he provided such excellent service as had the phone support and other techs.October 4th we phoned to say we were ready to proceed with a new compressor. Dave was out that afternoon to walk through the installation, detail the work in his notes, take measurements, and discuss compressor brands. We decided where the new air return would be installed.Tuesday afternoon TJ came by and dropped off some of the materials and walked through the job with me. Wednesday morning TJ, Matt, and Jack arrived, got to work and were done by 1:00. They were very courteous, friendly, and extremely efficient. Their clean up passed my, I could have done it better myself test.To top it off, we received phone calls as promised from Dave with the final estimate on Monday afternoon and for materials drop off, installation, etc. All for $6840 with a 4/5 ton Bosch compressor which is so quiet and very efficient. We will never use another company again.

WES replaced our attic air handler recently. Our experience with this company starting with the free quotes to the installation of TRANE AH was excellent.We were planning to replace our heat pump system and was looking for the right company to do this. We got estimates from different companies. Dave from WES came by and gave us quotes for four different options. He said that there is no reason to replace the 10 year old compressor now, since it is running fine, and all we have to do is replace the air handler since it is 35 years old. That was the fourth option that we took, and the price was reasonable.The technicians from WES , TJ and Grant , came by and did an excellent job in completing the work. Everything is working fine, and we are a happy customer of WES.12/30/2019No wonder, why this company is voted as the best in Denton because their technicians are excellent and their rates are reasonable. Andy, the technician came recently to our house to fix a contactor problem in our outdoor unit and identified and fixed the problem very quick

They said it would be $900 for the part only, so I should go ahead and replace the entire unit for $10,000. Obviously, I wanted a second opinion so I called Work Environmental Systems. Thank God. With courtesy, T.J. explained all the pros and cons of several models of new HAVC system very well, and easily understandable by a layman like me. In particularly, we really appreciate the owner, Mr. David Piatt, personally came to our house to evaluate old ducting system and made re-routing proposal to solve our temperature imbalances problem. Purchasing an older home from an estate sale, my husband and I were thinking we would probably have to replace the HVAC system. We had David, from Work Environmental Systems (WES), come to our home to provide a quote. More then pleasantly surprised! He not only told us we did not need new units, and therefore didnt try to sell us something we didnt need, but he also took the time to service our current units and provide tips on how to make our current units run more efficient. He was professional in appearance and demeanor, on time, respectful, and obviously honest enough to not try to sell us something we didnt need. We may not need a new HVAC system, but I believe he just made us new customers for regular servicing to keep what we have running smoothly.

I came across Work Environmental by sure luck. We were told by another company that our freon was very low and that we needed to replace our AC due to a leak. Keep in mind, the AC is a Trane and is about to hit 10 years this June. I called Work Environmental to get a quote on a new Trane system since they were an authorized dealer on the Trane website. Dave came out to give me an estimate and after telling him my life story about the current AC, he simply shook his head and laughed at what the other company told me. After spending about 45min with me going through the entire house and our current system, it turns out that I would more than likely just have to replace the AC coil only. He told me that the Trane systems will run for a long time. Needless to say, I will be canceling my maintenance contract with the other company and move over to Work Environmental maintenance plan. I cant say enough good things about Dave and his excellent customer service.
