[Updated] Great customer service, I have been a part of their preventative maintenance plan for a couple years now. I did feel overcharged once. However, on my next maintenance visit the owner actually performed the trip visit. He explained the charges breakdown and I got a little insight into what its like to run your own business. He was also very informative and I learned I had an additional supply filter hidden in the attic that hasnt been changed since Ive owned the house and most likely the cause of our allergy spikes. Very pleased with the service, I will continue to be a customer.

These guys are fantastic and get the job done right. They have better prices and customer service than the bigger guys in the area and I always useStalwart for all my AC needs. I had a coil go out last year, and they were able to claim the warranty 18 days before it was up. I would of never know if it wasn’t for them.I had a power surge yesterday blow both thermostats, fueses and switches and they were able to come out while I was at work to get all issues fixed. I trust them in my house while I was at work. Thats the kind of trust and service you can expect from these guys.My grandmothers ac went out, and they were able to replace both outside and inside units cheaper and quicker than anyone else out there.What are you waiting for! Michael was very helpful in diagnosing several issues, as well as giving us some direction on what to do with our aging units. With the weekend being hard for warranty companies to assist home owners with, Stalwart was both an affordable option and a timely option for what would have otherwise been a full weekend without upstairs AC. The professionalism was great, as well as the education received during Michaels visit, at a price 25% less than our warranty service coming out where we dont even get a say in who is looking at the unit. Wanted to give Michael kudos for his work and timely arrival.

After receiving an extremely high quote to fix our AC system from another company (over $8,000 to replace the condenser they claimed was bad), I contacted Stalwart to get a second opinion. Walter was very responsive and came out almost immediately to take a look. He was quickly able to diagnose the problem (bad capacitor and low refrigerant) and got us back up and running within the hour for under $600! Best second opinion Ive ever gotten! Highly recommend reaching out to these guys if you need AC service.

I felt compelled to leave a review after my experience. I was having massive issues with my ac with the average temperature being 86 degrees/97% humidity inside. Called one company out and they charged $400 just to clean my condenser and try to sell me their maintenance plan. When Stalwart came out, they really focused on the problem at hand. They came out three days in a row trying to resolve the cooling problems. Most companies would have given up, but I appreciated their determination. They also didnt overcharge us for the amount of work performed. Needless to say, they fixed the problems and were back to wearing jackets inside in the summer. Stalwart is a hidden gem. Wow this company is awesome. I was referred by a friend after I paid Abaccus 1600 for just a replacement of the TXV valve. I called Stalwart to check my sounds coming from my AC unit but Geoff (technician) found the refrigerant low and charged the system . He was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful to explain all the information about how the HVAC system and Unit worked and the cost was very good too! The on-call technician named Otto went out of his way to ensure my comfort during an unexpected loss of air conditioning through the weekend. Not only was his arrival prompt, and work thorough and efficient. But he found that the issue was electrical and instead of saying there was nothing he could do, he bypassed the problem. Getting my air conditioning back online immediately within 10 minutes of his arrival! I highly recommend this technician.

I have used Stalwart twice in two months now. First time was to replace the evaporator coil and plenum in my attic and second was to troubleshoot a power issue to my compressor (bad circuit breaker). I especially want to thank Walter who always answers my technical questions with a smile. Stalwart is my go-to for HVAC work from now on.

Stalwart really impressed me with their fast service and honesty. Walter was great. He immediately diagnosed the problem, fixed it in about 5 minutes, and answered all my questions. He encouraged me to ask as many questions as possible to keep him (and other service providers) honest. He told me exactly what I needed, and did not try to sell me expensive repairs that were not needed. He also told me they are redeveloping service packages that give customers more of an incentive to use the tune ups, helping to save money and save the life of the AC unit. So, Im always skeptical since I got taken advantage of with an air duct cleaning service, but Stalwart and Walter were the exact opposite...have a life time customer b/c of my experience with them.

Oh my gosh! This company was a complete blessing!!! We have a home warranty and they had been giving us a run around for 7 days, meaning we have had no a/c for the whole time. We prayed and felt lead to seek a 2nd opinion and Stalwarts was our answer to prayer! They were supposed to be out THE SAME DAY between 3 and 6 and they came at 12! We had been told parts needed to be replaced by another company that would have cost $2000-$3500. Walter, the technician that came out today, was able to FIX the issue and saved us a couple of thousands of dollars unnecessary repairs.Walter was so kind and professional. He never complained about the heat or the work he was doing. He and Stalwarts were truly God Sent!!

Ato provides honest and quality air conditioning repair services. A couple of years ago my AC was not cooling, I was told by Houk that I had a serious problem that would cost me $700 to fix. My neighbor referred me to Ato for a second opinion and it turned out that I only needed freon and I was saved more than $500. Today for an AC drain problem, I received a fast and reliable repair for an AC drain at reasonable cost. Stalwart will continue to be my HVAC service company.

The person from the company, Walter F, came to do the work along with drainage cleaning in a very professional manner (articulate, kind and knowledgeable). These folks just completed installing two Trane compressors (outside) and expansion coils (attic), and they did a terrific job. I couldnt be happier. This is the third time Ive used these people, and it always seems the same, excellent. My heat wasnt working. Company A said it was a roof leak and left. Company B said it was an ignitor and when that was installed it didnt work and told me I needed a new furnace. Stalwart was the 3rd company and the technician noticed ground cable not hooked up, noticed it was not wired for high efficiency and rewired it, and noticed some missing screws and put some on. They only charged me the $75 service fee. I paid for the yearly service plan cause this company does know what they are doing.

Everyone at Stalwart has been fantastic! Walter came out to do a same-day initial inspection on a failing AC unit, and walked me through everything he was doing just to help me learn. The diagnosis of a leaking box coil was followed by three options for repair, either fixing just the coil or two options for a new system. The entire process was low pressure and high information. Going with a new system made sense, and once I made the call they were out the next day and did a great job swapping out the whole HVAC system. Otto even pointed out a very small gas leak at my meter and helped me get CenterPoint out within the hour to fix it. Overall just a bunch of good, talented, honest technicians earning my trust and business. (Office staff was great as well!) Solid company.

I would and have recommended Stalwart mechanical for your A/C or heating needs. When our unit went down it was Friday night, Ato came out the next day to diagnose the problem. We decided to replace the entire unit inside and out. Him and his crew installed everything on that Sunday and had us back up.and running. They were very meticulous on keeping the area clean in the house where they were walking back and forth. The small things like this is what impressed me and we have called him out since to add returns throughout the house.

Ato is a person you can trust. He tells you the honest truth about your situation and doesnt make up things just to get your service. He has been my A/C service guy for years and has always done a great job. My 15 year old unit finally meet its match and Ato got me a great deal on two new units. He and his crew came in in the morning and finished before the evening. My house cools much better now and it is more efficient. Last year my August Bill was $400.00 and after replacing the units this year my August Bill was $191.00 (3,800 s.f.house). They not only replaced my units and condenser coils but they corrected the ductwork that the previous A/C guy did at no extra charge. I highly recommend Mr Ato to anyone: Ive already recommended him to my brother and other friends.

It is very rare I take the time to write a review, especially for AC contractors who are notorious for over-charging and below par work. Ato has demonstrated the highest level of integrity! He is a fantastic AC man and works hard to please his customers. I have a wife and three daughters so keeping the house cool is a must! Our AC went out on Friday night and I called Ato on Saturday morning. Ato carefully analysed my system and gently gave me the bad news. I gave Ato the go ahead on the new system and his crew were on the job Sunday morning at 8:30AM. They worked non-stop until 2:30PM and I had a new system blowing cold air. I am very happy with Ato and Stalwart Mechanical Services! Without a doubt, I will recommend his services to anyone in need of an honest and very dependable AC man!

I cant say enough good things about Ato. My parents recommended him to me and I have since recommended him to several people. He is thorough, professional, reliable and trustworthy. A friend of mine noticed my air conditioner wasnt working while I was out of town. She was house sitting so I immediately called Ato. He came out that evening and easily fixed the problem. There was dirt that was getting kicked up into the unit by wind and basically the unit just needed to be washed off. Once that was done it turned right back on! After seeing so many horror stories on places like Rossen Reports its nice to feel like someone was honest and didnt take advantage of me. The fee was nominal, not even the price of some trip fees. I will always use Ato and recommend him to everyone I know.
