While I wouldn’t recommend the technician who came out to fix my washer, I still believe the company itself provides good service overall. It wouldn’t be fair to penalize the whole company for the actions of one individual.I went online, scheduled an appointment for the very next day (less than 24 hours), and was given a convenient two-hour time frame. The scheduling process was smooth and efficient, which I really appreciated.

10/10. My technician Alex was very knowledgeable and professional. Communication with everyone on the phones was quick and thorough. Alex fixed the sensor on my icemaker on my built in fridge in about an hour. The labor charge was very reasonable and so was the cost for the part. The icemaker still wasnt producing ice the following day. Alex came back out and installed a brand new icemaker and didnt charge me a penny. Said they quoted me a price and they were going to stand behind it. Unbelievable. I will vouch for them to anyone, anytime.

I have used Smartway Appliance twice.The first time was last summer when my Maytag refrigerator (in the garage) started giving me repeated error messages. Alex came out and troubleshot it. He ordered the part and he replaced it. Well, that was not the problem. He came back out immediately and finally figured out what the real problem was and ordered that part. When he came back he replaced the faulty component and said SmartWay had charged me for the repair and that I owed nothing further. Wow!The second call was just this week. Stan came to check out my 17 yo dishwasher. After looking it over he felt that the seals on the motor were leaking. Between parts and labor, I was looking at $500. Given the age of my dishwasher, I decided I would replace it. Well, Stan proceeded to disconnect the unit and helped me get it into the garage. He spent an hour at my house and only charged me for the service call. Wow, again!I highly recommend this company for your appliance repair needs and will continue to use them going forward!

What was supposed to be a simple washer and dryer install turned into something that saved me from replacing ceilings in the house we closed on just 2 days before.Sergey installed our washer and dryer after our move back to Texas because, well, I did the disconnect and realized there was a zero chance that I wanted to do the hookup. Once Sergey completed the install, he showed me a picture that the dryer vent was pretty clogged up.I was able *that same day* to get another appointment to have someone come out that afternoon and clean out the dryer vent. That someone was the owner, Eugene.(Lets just say Im really still trying to understand what the builder was thinking when they designed and installed the dryer vent routing. Well leave it at that.)While outside finishing with the dryer vent, Eugene noticed that there was water coming out of the emergency drain from the A/C unit in the attic. The short of the story is the pan was close to overflowing and ruining the ceilings in our new house. He was able to unclog all the lines. A few days later, everything is still looking good with the overflow pan staying dry.Lets look at it from a different perspective. If I would have done the hookup myself, I wouldnt have cleaned out the dryer vent. That also means that probably within a few days, I would have been replacing ceilings.Heres the bottom line. Do you have A/C or appliance issues? In my opinion, based on someone new (again) to Texas, theres only one company to call and thats SmartWay.

Off of a review much like this one, I called Smartway and I could not be happier. They sent out Alex Tech (that’s what his card said) and he was the best. He quickly diagnosed the issues took the time to explain them to me, including an issue I had caused with one of my own repair attempts, and gave us a very reasonable estimate. Alex “Tech” returned the following day and made all the repairs, and was making jokes with me and at me (for not cleaning the pile of dishes on the counter as I had assured my wife), all with a huge, pleasant smile on his face. He even helped with changing the filter on our fridge. Alex, the technician, did an outstanding job diagnosing & repairing the issue with our Samsung washing machine (which is 12 years old). He arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. Unfortunately he did not have the part that was broken with him but he immediately ordered it and scheduled a follow up visit the next business day. With part in hand he installed it in a very timely manner and everything works perfectly!!! Great service and highly recommend Smartway Appliance. Repair.

I have 11 yo LG refrigerator that stopped working . I was trying to repair it myself. Was ordering start rely ( which is hard to find for my model) 4 times. Yesterday the “ correct part” arrived but did not start the compressor. Was thinking the compressor went bad since the new thermistor did not eliminate the problem. As a last resource decided to call Smart Way to double check before buying a new refrigerator. Called around 9 am , Sergio, technician came to my house around 3:30 and less than in 30 minutes made compressor to start with a universal start relay. Gave the consultation why the new part could not start the compressor.Very nice technician. Would recommend to everyone who needs appliance repair.Well done Сергей!Viktoriya

I am updating this review to five stars.Previously I complained because they broke our waterline when disconnecting our washer to fix it.They have now refunded the money for the service.No business is perfect, but how you handle problems determines whether or not people should do business with you.Based on this refund, I would recommend these guys because they made it right and they did it on the same day!I intend to get a plumber to fix this.If the plumber charges less then the original repair, I will call them back and give them the difference... Thats only fair to them because they did fix the washer.

He went straight to the problem, made sure the refrigerator works as it should be.Very reasonable price for such a fast service. Got a quote for both a dishwasher that wasnt draining and a dryer making a lot of noise. SmartWay did a very professional job of scheduling and confirming. Their tech (Eugene) was on time, very through, excellent at explaining the problems and how repeats might be avoided. My wife said she felt the tech was very nice and helpful. The price seemed fair to me. So, a great experience!! Will definetly keep them on file to use again!

Very pleased to write a review like this. SmartWay responded quickly, and kept me updated on anything to do with the repair, though media and apps.We needed the switches for two burners replaced on the Stove Cooktop. Eugene was professional and polite and when his available parts didnt quite fit he drove off to find more, and did not charge for the service time.Definitely should be your first call for appliance repair.

These people are,without a doubt, the best appliance guys Ive ever known. They responded to my urgent call in an incredibly short time (freezer door left open and freezer stopped working, freezer full of food), and were so kind and so professional. They knew what had to be done, no phony parts or wasting time, and had the thing back up and running in under 2 hours. And no over inflated prices es, either. I was absolutely thrilled with their caring and professionalism. They are my go-to guys for any future appliance needs. They are the best!
