Shields AC & Heating has repaired my AC unit twice and theyve done an excellent job. Im very happy to have found an honest, reliable company that has my best interest in mind. The owner wasnt pushy at all. He gave me two options and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. I highly recommend this company. He is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Shields AC & Heating replaced my AC system back in 2022.I have a double wide, where the raccoons had completely destroyed my AC ducts which are above the ceiling. I had no idea what to do, because replacing the ducts seems pointless, since the raccoons might destroy them again.Shane (the owner) suggested I put in Mini splits. If you dont know what they are ~ google it. They are so awesome.OMG, the best idea ever!! Not only are they efficient, but they work amazing!! My electric bill went from $300-500 down to less than $100 most months (even in the summer!)I have had them come check on things, and they are always prompt and so kind! They treat my home as if it were their own.Shane, Brandon and crew are THE BEST!!!

Tech Brandon and Preston arrived when promised, resolved my issue within an hour by having the parts available on the vehicle, and completed an overall diagnosis of my system to ensure it will be dependable going forward. I own three properties and have used Shanes company to maintain and (in one case) replace our AC units over the past several years. He has always been extremely responsive and has always corrected the problem the first time. The quality of work has always been great and the pricing is fair. I would recommend this company to anyone! They are good people.

We had Brandon out to check out our HVAC unit back in January; our original unit installed back in 1996 had quit blowing air. Brandon did a thorough evaluation and was able to replace a capacitor to get our heat working again and was very clear with us that, while it was working, the blower motor itself was likely on its last legs, but no idea how much longer it would last (could be a week, a month, or years). Sure enough, the heat came around in April, and it went out on us. I called up the team again, Brandon recognized where he was going immediately and came out that afternoon to remove the blower motor and start working on sourcing a replacement. After a long drive to Round Rock, they were able to find us one, but got caught in traffic and didnt get back to Lockhart until late that night. The next morning, Shane came out, installed the blower motor, and gave us a very honest evaluation of our very aged unit; with a recharge, it will continue to work for the summer, but we need to start saving for a replacement. Im so happy to have a reliable AC & Heating company that I can count on to provide honest and quality service!

We have five buildings and have used Shields over past few months for 3 of our a/c units. All three had emergency issues at different times over past few months. They are extremely professional, service was on same day for no extra charge, which is amazing. Repaired all three units by that same evening so we were never without a/c. They are very knowledgeable, experienced, punctual and courteous. Showed us the issues so we were fully aware at all times of the problems. I am looking forward to using them annually for regular maintenance so we dont run into surprise issues again. I highly recommend you give Shane and Brandon a call for your a/c & heating needs.

Shane and Brandon are awesome to work with! I have them service my two homes along with my two office buildings. They do routine maintenance along with all our repairs. I’ve had a few “emergencies” at the office buildings and they came ASAP to repair. Commercial buildings are no easy task but Shane and Brandon always knock it out of the park. I’ve been working with them since 2017 and have never had any problems. They are also two of the most polite people I’ve ever done business with.

They went above and beyond the call of duty when installing our new AC/Heating unit. Shane explained everything to us beforehand so we would know exactly what to expect. After being without ac for several days with the inside temperature being 93 degrees, they came and worked tirelessly to get us up and running. Their pricing was fair and I feel they did far more than was reflected in their price. They were very professional and I felt they were truly interested in our wellbeing. I highly recommend them!
