This week I had to have plumbing and electrical work done at my house. Every single person I have worked with at my house or over the phone has been incredible.I have never seen a company where every single employee actually cares, is thorough, keeps you updated at every step and provides such complete and in depth explanations of what you need and offers options that may also help in the future. There was a little hiccup(my fault) and SALT send my same guys back and they were great, understood what I actually needed and wanted and make it happen in the blink of an eye.Both sides, plumbing and electrical, are equally knowledgeable and wonderful employees.If I owned a company Id want my employees to give my customers a sense that they were working with a company who knows their stuff and does it with a smile on their face.Great experience with SALT!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Fantastic service! Seth and Itzel were complete professionals. Arrived on time and quickly explained the process. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about all my questions and concerns. They even went out of their way to explain a concern I had about replacing a certain bulb in my bathroom. Highly recommend! If Salt services provides a team like these two you cant go wrong.

Salt was a great choice! We have been having issues with some plugs in our garage. I booked an online appointment and they were able to come out the same day. I was given a window and they showed up right on time. My tech Jeremy was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He went through several options with me and fixed the issue. They have a membership that helps to save money, but unfortunately we are moving out of Texas soon, so I didnt get to take advantage. I would definitely recommend Salt for electrical needs. Ive never used them for their other services, but I would assume they are just as good for those, and I know if something comes up I will call them again.

My rotating light switch had burnt out. So it was replaced with just a regular light switch, which was fine, because they didnt have a replacement on the truck. I was very pleased with the service that Tommy Garcia provided. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable of the job. As was the customer service representative that set the appointment for me. I hate I dont remember her name. All around polite and professional. Godly characteristics about them both. Which is what the world needs more of today. Because its extremely hard to find honest business people nowadays.I added Tommy Garcias picture from the text message they sent, relating to his impending arrival, because his picture nor name was in the drop-down list for the technicians.

Vincent was fantastic. Very communicative and pleasant. Did a great job on a new outlet install and an interlock switch; very tidy and efficient. Answered all my questions and showed the work as he progressed. Even accommodated an installation change to use my car charger plug as a battery backup connection and worked to get some money refunded. No hard sell on the Salt+ I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews. I’ll be calling for my future electrical and plumbing work.

Ross was a delight to have come and explain all of the jobs that SALT does. He cleaned out our dryer’s duct that was completely clogged! He fixed everything, cleaned everything, and put everything back together. I cannot say enough about the amazing work he did. We will definitely be back!

Carlyle - a plumber from SALT - was incredible. Not only did he spend 2 nights working past 9 PM to help us solve 2 serious problems for us but he diagnosed the issues in great detail, determined what needed to be replaced and fixed the problems with hours of work. He prepared a quote, explained the issues in detail, how they occurred and why their recommended repair would solve the problem.

The excellent service started with the specialist who took my call—friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient in setting up my appointment. Jason Sims and Tony went above and beyond when replacing my utility room light. They were incredibly thorough in their work and took the time to explain everything they were doing, and even walked me through a service plan—at no cost to me—to ensure everything was up to code, which was both informative and reassuring. We also shared a few laughs along the way, making the experience even better. I have a couple more projects lined up, and I’ll definitely be requesting them by name. When I had a crackling light switch with pulsing lights, I knew I needed somebody to look at it ASAP. I called all over Austin and SALT was able to get to me most quickly. Jason and Jesse communicated with me about their arrival and what to expect, conducted a full inspection, diagnosed my problem (and other issues I asked about), offered more than one solution at different price points, and fixed everything all in one visit. I was happy with their attention to detail, patience in explaining their findings, and the cost of the solutions. Additionally, they were both EXTREMELY polite, kind, and funny! I felt very comfortable with them in my home. I will definitely call SALT again.

SALT Plumbing Air & A/C have won us over as customers for life. After years of trying to find a quality company to handle all of our needs, we called SALT after receiving a flyer in the mail. We needed help with our A/C units. We were not satisfied with our current A/C provider, so we threw caution to the wind and called SALT. Since that first call, we have used SALT multiple times! Their office staff is always polite, uplifting and helpful. We have used both their A/C service and plumbing service. Every single employee of SALT that has been at our house has been on-time, polite, professional and very thorough. We cannot say enough great things about SALT. If you want excellent results…CALL SALT!

An incredible blessing to have a business to call on that still values integrity.

It seems my initial review didn’t get through to SALT, so I’m happy to share my experience again.Drew did an outstanding job with the installation of my new tankless water heater. From start to finish, he was professional, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the system, answer all my questions, and ensured that everything was set up and working perfectly before leaving.I really appreciate the attention to detail and the fact that Drew went above and beyond to make sure everything was running smoothly. The tankless water heater is performing great, and I’m already noticing the efficiency improvements.Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend SALT for anyone looking to upgrade their water heating system!Update: A few days after the installation, there was an issue with my water heater. I called the SALT office at 7:30 am, received a call back about 20 minutes later, and Drew was back to my house before 9:00 am. He had the issue resolved in 10 minutes and Ive enjoyed my new source of hot water.

Craig Orozco did an amazing job. They came over to fix an outdoor outlet and quote me on some interior lighting upgrades so I could control and change the colors. The quote they gave was very fair for the amount of labor (had to cut new holes in a 13 ft tall ceiling down a hallway) Craig and his partner then killed it and in a few hours theyd made our house safer, more stylish, and i could use my outdoor outlet again!

Seems like everything is either $1000 per faucet replacement in a shower or $400 for a 10 minute job on a toilet. They came in for an assessment that ended costing $99 after waiting all day which included a bio one enzyme solution to throw into one drain. I never got the water test results. Ryan was a nice guy, 2 years out of training but Salt is way overpriced for what you need.

They explained everything clearly AND they were all so good with my critters here which was really helpful!! SALT is my go-to. Have used another company but after that other big name company (with the ridiculously cheesy ads) left a purchased item completely unplugged and the box just thrown on the floor in the attic, where they knew I would likely never go and realize - I will never use that other company and SALT luckily found the issue and didnt attempt to dupe me into getting the product again, they were honest and Ill always trust them after that!!

I received a postcard for $120 hot water heater inspection and flush from Salt. I called to scheduled and was able to get the same day. Dylan Wilson, and a trainee, Christine P. arrived to do the flush on my Tankless hot water heater. They were very polite and answered all my questions about my tankless. Boy, was I surprised when I found out that they were also checking my plumbing inside all for the same price. Of course, it was so they could tell me about their Maintenance plan. It cost a little more than my Previous plan but he had raise his price over 60% and it only included AC and furnace whereas Salt Included electrical, plumbing and AC/furnace maintenance so I did not mind listening. It appears to be a good deal, but I always have to do more checking before I move forward. Thanks, Dylan and Christine!

My SALT Electrician, Vincent Aldana, installed a 50Amp three phase plug for an EV charger in my garage. He not only installed it, he explained the 2023 Building Code changes that required a GFCI circuit breaker at the main circuit box outside. And that this would likely be a source of irritation, because the GFCI circuit breaker outside the house would sometimes shut the current down when applying a load to the charger. He explained not only how to recover from this fault, but also the possible solutions, including getting a hard wired rather than plug-in EV charger, which eliminates the GFCI breaker in the main circuit box with one in the EV charger itself, and doesnt have this problem. Ive been dealing with SALT for about two years. My calls are answered promptly and both the plumbers and electricians have always arrived within our scheduled window, or earlier when possible. Their explanations have always been clear and both plumbers and electricians have been friendly and professional. I like SALTs practice of offering three levels of service at different prices and I have never felt pressured to pick the highest or to schedule immediately. I recently had a new water heater installed. There was a problem with the installation and they responded quickly and fixed the issue with no additional charge. Theyve also been considerate about my budgeting concerns (work needing to be done but quarterly taxes due). I highly recommend them.

Anthony Salazar and his apprentice did an excellent job addressing our electrical needs. The ballasts in our two 42-year-old fluorescent light fixtures that are recessed in our kitchen ceiling were causing the lights to flicker and light up slowly, or sometimes not at all, when turned on. Mr. Salazar recommended replacing our outdated fixtures with maintenance-free brighter LED wrap lights. The old fixtures were removed and the new ones installed quickly and professionally! The difference between the old and new fixtures is like night and day!!! ...absolutely amazing!!! My husband and I are very pleased with Mr. Salazars recommendation, his expertise, and his professionalism. He and his apprentice were extremely courteous and personable, and their customer service was excellent! We highly recommend SALT Service Company and will definitely contact them for any future electrical needs we might have!

At the same time, he segregated the actions between critical and nice to haves and did not pressure me to do any extra repairs. Carlyle arrived on time. It was good to see a familiar face, as he had done some work on our plumbing previously. He took care of the new issue, explained why it had happened, and then went over some other sites in the house, which gave me some confidence in our heating and water-filtering systems. I really like having one-stop shopping with SALT (plumbing, electricity and HVAC). Very convenient.
