Feb 2025: SA Specialties was recommended by a coworker.Josh Diamond provided us with a quote in the middle of a cold snap. He took his time explaining 3 tiers of options, financing and made recommendations not captured by other contractors (ex installing return ducts upstairs).I never felt rushed or pressured. He often had to revisit technical terminology a few times and was always patient with us. Came through, did his measurements, penciled a few things out, and even followed up the next day when he remembered a tax break was available to us because of our upgrade. He’s been in the industry for almost 20 years and it shows.Regard previous reviews: seems like those were from a few years back. Don’t be dissuaded. Instantly top of my list with values-driven professionalism.

We really like this company. One of our AC units went out, and we were able to get a technician out to the house relatively quickly. We received a very fair estimate to replace the unit. And while the tech was there, he even checked our second unit. I definitely recommend. We ultimately used a different provider for our new unit. But we’ve worked with them before to replace a unit and we were very happy with the work.

SA Specialties replaced both our flooded units after H Harvey . We discovered that they also have an excellently priced service contract. We pay for 2 services a year and its $300. Total.Today Damion was our technician. Hes very thorough and incredibly respectful of our property. We called 2 days ago and he came the next day. With a courtesy call from the office to let me know he was on his way, always timely within the 2 hour service window.SA get busy at this time of year for obvious reasons but in the last 9 years, they have always managed excellent service and quick turnaround.

Our old system quit on a weekend. On Monday morning, I called SA Specialties and talked to their triage person who was kind and courteous. She said someone would be at my house within 2 hours. Within 2 hours, a Mr. Keith Hoppe rang our doorbell. Keith was very knowledgeable and knew what system would be best for our needs. We agreed at a good price and the lead time was 3 days. With our system being dead, we were both disappointed. Keith said that hed request for their dispatcher to review their installation schedule and see if there was a less important job that could be delayed for our highly important replacement. Early Tuesday morning, Keith called and said our install would be on Tuesday. We were ecstatic!Cody and Bear were here Tuesday and they installed the complete system in one day. By 8 PM, the unit was cooling. Our install was a bit challenging due to the width of our attic stairs but they knew what to do. The dedication of these two guys was superb. The install is very professional.

Cannot say enough good things about Josh and his team. Weve been using SA Specialties since we bought our 4200 ft² home in 2002. Theyve installed four units for us now, most recently in 2024 and 2022. Needless to say these things do not last like they used to. Their 10/10/10 warranty on parts, labor, with two service visits per year included is unrivaled. With the new unit, we had them replace 20 ducts, two plenums, and add an air scrubber. No one came close to their price, as usual. Each time I use them I shop around and come out find a better deal. On top of that, their technicians are punctual, clean and courteous.

Not gonna lie, initially their young ages made me question their experience but it didnt take long to trust they had it handled. So far, I couldnt recommend a better company! Well they set up a technician to look at my broken A/C unit and after 30 minutes I decided to replace both systems completely because the cost was remarkable and the replacement would completed the next day. Keith the sales guy gave me the the pros and cons of the more efficient units but I decided to stick with 14 seer as I did not think the additional cost of the higher seer would ever make a big difference in the long run. Keith was very reasonable and knowledgeable of his products.

SA Specialties installed our system in 2011. Their annual service contract is very reasonably priced, so I purchase it every year. They come spring and fall to clean and check the system. They are easy to get an appointment with, and always come when they say they will. Every technician over the years has been competent and friendly. Today was the first time my system needed a small part replaced. Technician Kevin was great! He knows his HVAC! Had the part in his truck, and got everything cleaned up and ready for summer quickly and inexpensively. I highly recommend SA Specialties! And technician Kevin!

Chad was able to come out within 5 hrs of calling the main office. He was on-time and very professional. Was able to diagnose the issue and get it resolved while working in 90 degree temps. Now the house is back to 75 and were extremely pleased with the work of Chad & SA Specialties.

Kevin came out for a PM, he was very professional and did a fantastic job. He also fixed the compressor outside which had been getting louder and louder over time and turns out all it required was tightening down all the screws which had started to loosen due to vibration. It is now as quiet as the day it was installed which was also by SA Specialties a few years ago. To date we have been very pleased with this company.

We had our a/c and furnace systems installed almost 4 years ago by SA Specialties and our blower motor went out on us. Fortunately, we have a 10 year warranty on parts. The only down side was waiting almost a week to have it reinstalled. Kevin came out and quickly installed a new one. He was very polite, courteous and speedy in repairing our unit. Good man.

The company I had that had done my repairs for ten+ years did the best sales presentation I have ever seen and I am a sales person...they were dressed in great uniforms and they were twice as expensive as SA. My unit installed, the installers did a great job...and the post install checks, and follow up met all the requirements. I think they did an excellent job.

He answered all my questions and did a very good job with the spring maintenance check up for my ac system, including changing the Aprilaire filter (which is something of a chore). I bought an HVAC system. Big bucks so I borrowed money out of my equity in my home. They came out as scheduled and a few hours later the system was up and cooling us off after 6 weeks of no cooling in Katy Spring heat. It was touch and go as the unit is programmed for the home and its size. There were tweaks that had to be done and they were done. Watch out for the fine print that says your warranty is valid based on required service maintenance. Annually like clockwork, we have a professional come out and service the system. Make sure you keep your receipts of these services.

Called, had immediate, courteous response, evaluation the next day, installation the day after.I had priced equivalent units from 4 companies, SA was was the best priced and by far, the most professional in quoting.Old system was removed, no mess at all, new unit installed and thorough operational explanation provided, the same day. Got follow up calls as well.I would recommend this firm, which is family owned. I plan to have them replace 2 more units when needed.

In 2016 SA Specialties installed a new complete HVAC system in my house. My experience was excellent. Fast forward to 2020 and the outside coil failed. The manufacturer (Lenox) was not stepping up to back their product. Enter Jeremy of SA Specialties. He worked tirelessly for a week to get a new unit from Lenox and get it installed. Jeremy made it all happen and now the system is working again. This was all completed at no cost to me. I strongly recommend SA Specialties and Jeremy to anyone.

For example, Kevin has come most of the time and is due my highest praise. I consider the decision to buy my new system from SA Specialties to be one of the smartest decisions I ever made.

Our A/C stopped blowing cold this morning.I called and scheduled an appointment for an A/C tech to come out and fix the issue. The technician, Kevin, arrived around 5:00PM and quickly identified that my issue was with a bad capacitor. The unit was still under warranty so I only had to pay for the labor to replace the part.Kevin also performed the spring checkup while he was here so I would not have to make another appointment. It took him about 90 minutes to complete all the work and he even replace the air filters before he left.I will use them again.

I was hesitant to use because the price was considerably lower than my lowest bid. I had a neighbor use them so I went ahead and did it. The crew was outstanding, Bobby continued to answer my million questions even throughout the day of installation. I am very very pleased so far. They have left my house clean they were kind and courteous , so far so good. I already recommended them to a friend whose ac just went out.

Ive used SA twice. Once for a five ton Trane system and six months ago on a two ton Ruud. Both times their installation was perfect, and I say this because I had a different company QC their work afterwards. I went with SA because their prices beat every other bidding company by large margins. (However, proper installation is much more important than pricing.) I recommended them to my neighbor across the street, and they have since replaced both of her systems, and she was completely satisfied. My first system has been in over three years now with zero problems. The second system has been in six months with no issues. I would use them again and would recommend them over any other company in my area.(I have no financial interest in SA Specialties.)

I had my whole system replaced by SA Specialties 6-17 My house is now cool quiet and comfortable. The installers started at 08:00 and were finished by 4:00 They did a professional job form start to finish. SA SPECIALTIES advertised pricing and written estimate are exactly correct, no bait & switch no add ons. I had a problem with the new thermostat, and they sent their most experienced tech out after hours to correct the problem. This company is one of very few that does a HONEST, PROFESSIONAL Job. In my experience I would not trust anyone else, with this job, or waste time with 2-3 estimates from others. Kevin quickly identified the problem, fan motor burned out, and needed to be replaced.The next day, he returned, replaced the fan motor and conducted a service tune-up and all was well again.I highly recommend SA Specialties for all your HVAC needs.
