    6 out of 5 stars.No one ever wants to have issues with their HVAC, however, having someone to call that you know will be on time, do a good job, communicate clearly, price fairly and stands by their work makes it a lot better. PT Maintenance is that company.Over the last few years I have had to call them 3 times for 3 different emergencies. Every time the work was completed quickly with expert level quality and an extremely reasonable price.I have worked with many different contractors in many different fields and have yet to find customer service that can compete. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Highly recommend.ExpandedWe began using PT Maintenance about a year and a half ago after one of our A/C units went south - immediately after a routine check-up by a different service company. Although it initially looked like a system replacement was in order, Pete identified the actual problem which was relatively inexpensive. He saved us a large expense at a very inconvenient time.He also told us then that our systems were well past their expected lifespan and would probably start failing before long. We already suspected as much since they were original to the house. A few weeks ago, the day came to finally replace them.We compared estimates on full system replacements and, again, went with Pete and PT Maintenance. They never tried to steer us toward anything that wasn’t needed or necessary for our situation. They were able to schedule the work much quicker than expected. Pete and his crew were at our house with the equipment first thing that morning. By that afternoon, they had replaced and tested both HVAC systems (with upgraded filtering and new wifi thermostats), broken down the shipping materials and hauled off our old system. While a minor issue did arise later, Pete was quickly in contact with a partner and, together, they were able to resolve the problem and professionally address other questions to calm any lingering concerns. Solid customer service.I gladly recommend PT Maintenance. Great people that provide great service.

    I hate to recommend such a great professional, but Mr. Pete is absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond for diagnosis and repairs. He was very responsive and extremely reasonable.

    Great experience with a good explanation of what was happening and what were the potential solutions. Also extremely responsive and quick to come out and fix our issue.     We went to PT Maintenance on thew advice of a coworker who had great things to say about them. Our AC had been having issues. We had had another company out, wont mention their name but they are always advertising on the radio. Pete came out and also looked it over. Their quote was thousands less than the other company. Even better, when I asked about the furnace his recommendation was not to replace it. It was old but was still in good shape. The other company said they both needed to be replace so they matched. They did a great job, saved us thousands over one of the big name competitors in Austin, and I highly recommend them for any HVAC needs.

    PT Maintenance has serviced my 3 home- HVAC systems for the past 6 years and also replaced a system that had failed. I am extremely happy with both the system maintenance and the installation services they have completed. Pete provides a very professional and personal service, answering any questions I may have about their services.     Had a great experience with PT Maintenance on my HVAC system. We had a pretty urgent need and they were quick to respond.     Pete and Teresa run a tight ship. Weve used their services for the last 5 years and wont go to anyone else!!! Very honest with pricing, do quality work, explain everything while doing the job, but most of all very responsive and always on time.     Pete and the team did an amazing job for us when we needed to replace both AC systems. They were professional, efficient and respectful. (Used boot covers every time they had to enter the house. They did such a great job that we now use them for our commercial buildings.I highly recommend them for both your home or business HVAC needs.

    We got quotes from multiple places, and even had one come out and check out system (they missed a lot of stuff). Pete gave us a quote that was lower than all the other, and I was expecting to get what I paid for (cheaper=worse usually). Boy was I wrong, I dont think I have ever met someone so respectful, nice, and honest in the service industry. It was just an absolute pleasure working with him. He was very straight forward on what needed to be done and what the cost would be. Gave plenty of pictures to back up what he was saying. 10/10

    Pete came out, on a Sunday, to fix our broken heater. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed the problem and fixed the part that was broken at a very fair price. As a first time homeowner, I cannot even express how refreshing it is to have an honest, straight shooter, fixing something that I have no experience with. I would highly recommend PT Maintenance to anyone in the area!

    Pete was awesome!! I was referred to him by a good friend. My clients’ a/c broke down last night. Called Pete this morning and right a way he went to their house from RR all the way to S Austin and fixed it. 3x cheaper too!! He was fast at response time, getting the a/c fixed fast, was very nice to my clients, and did not overcharge them. Wow!! i will refer him to all of my clients, for sure!

    Highly recommend this company! I had my A/C go out on a Saturday night. I had to call a ton of different places for service on the weekend. Turns out after diagnosis, my A/C needed to be replaced. I got 3 opinions and all were the same that I needed a new system. PT Maintenance was the only company that was reasonable not only on their pricing but also on when they could do the install. They were able to fit me in the very next day. Everyone else were days out. The techs were on time and worked so hard out in this terrible heat and with it being hot in the house too. Thank you PT Maintenance for your quick response to service and sending a great crew. Definitely will recommend you to everyone!

    Gave Pete a call at 4:00 am when my AC stopped blowing cold air. He scheduled me in and showed up at the house at 6:45 am that morning and diagnosed my issue as a bad capacitor within about 5 minutes and had my AC back up and running 5 minutes after that. Great guy and quick service. Will definitely use PT Maintenance again in the future. Thanks Pete!

    Great Service! The fan on my outside A/C unit stopped working in the middle of the night. The temperature the next day was estimated to hit 103! I contacted PT Maintenance at 7:45 AM and by 9:30 AM they had my unit back up and running. The technician was very courteous and returned my call immediately. He informed me of all charges up front and quickly assessed and repaired the problem. I could not be happier with my service and I highly recommend this company!

    Pete came to my home and checked to make sure my A/C - Heating unit was working properly. He showed me that the unit was in perfect working order, and he made a cap for the pipe where bleach should be poured in, as it didnt have a cap. He checked for dust inside the unit, but there was no dust. He gave my four-year old unit a clean bill of health. He was very knowledgeable of all things A/C - Heating, and I have complete confidence in the work he did for me.     I just wanted my HVACs tuned up, so I called Home depot.After tuning up my HVACs by a home depot technician, my 2 HVACs were out of order within a week. Could you make sense? I called them and discussed what happened on my Air conditioning. Their responses were one of them has no refrigerant (actually they filled a week ago), another one had a broken capacitor. I totally agreed its possible, but why they didnt know some potential problems, and why they said my systems were fairly well when they did tune up service.After inspecting my systems, a guy from this contractor suggested replacement of whole or partial system which needs a lot of money. I dont tell you, but it was huge amount of money.I called some HVAC repair services from google searching, and met some guys. Pete Peterson from PT Maintenance & Mechanical is really knowledgeable and gave his opinions with why he thought that. Also, he suggested reasonable solutions and prices.He showed me his trouble shooting, and I saw the leak point that refrigerant actually came out of. He checked step by step, so figured out whats okay and what should be replaced, even what parts is advised to be replaced, and whats up to me.One of the best feelings is that he never pushed me into somewhat pressurized conditions, which means he never forced me to buy anything. He recommended least replacement with what jobs would be good during this replacement.After discussing with my family, I decided to replace a condenser unit with evaporator coil unit. His quote was about 30% lower than first contractors. Some other repair guys suggested similar quotes, but I decided to get his one because he was the first guy who came over my house, and he is really honest and knowledgeable. I dont know about HAVC system and whats difference between the makers. Pete gave me a quote with American standard, and home depot contractor gave me a goodman quote with same seer rating.Anyway, I met him at 3 pm, and I made a contract with him, then he finished the job which includes replacing a condensing unit, evaporator box, and refill refrigerant before 8 pm.I was really satisfied with his job done in my house, and another guy who worked with him was also good. I didnt watch the exact his works, but he even clean the workplace in the attic after finishing his job there.I strongly recommend these guys, and I will contact them a few years later for replacing another system in my house.Thanks Pete,
