We set up an bi-annual maintenance service with NexGen. This was our first service for the fall. They were very prompt and Cecil who was the service tech was very friendly and polite. We had several companies come out and give us quotes on a complete replacement of our AC and furnace and they gave us multiple quotes for a base line system and the top of the line system. After we decided on what we wanted to go with they had their crew out within a few days. They were on time, very respectful of our home, and the fact that we had a toddler running around. It took two days to finish the whole project (a complete gut of a century old home) and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for AC work!

The folks at NexGen are simply awesome! From the office staff to the technicians, customer service is their obvious priority! We recently needed a warranty air conditioner part replaced. NexGen was at our house the next day. Mike diagnosed the exact part needing replacement and put the paperwork in that afternoon. Less than a week later John and Jesus replaced the part (the evaporator) in less than an hour and half. The office staff kept us up to date via voice mail as the warranty process progressed. Even the owner, Shane, paid us a visit at the beginning of our wait to make sure we could be comfortable with the 90F days while we waited for the part. We were so impressed with NexGens performance, we signed up for NexGens yearly diagnostic and maintenance service contract.

Highly recommend this company!My AC went out in July and after getting one opinion, I wasnt very comfortable with what they were telling me/offering me. So I called NexGen for a second opinion, from that point forward I felt like I was in good hands. Cecil and Brett came out and both very professional and informative. After confirming I would need a new one, Brett explained all the details and options I had and helped me make the right choice and they were able to come install within a day and half. NexGen is a top quality heating/cooling company! I had an issue with a 40 year old one room furance. While other companies just replied with a cant fix it. NexGens team determined why it wasnt working and offered solutions to fix the problem. They walked me through the pros & cons of each solution so I was totally educated about my options.They are now my go to for heating and cooling issues.Their team are well-trained, efficient, arrive on time and ensure that work areas are clean before leaving. Called NexGen after another company came out and told us the damper system needed changing for $4000. Cecil from NexGen came out and troubleshot the system and found the problem was a different problem fixed it for $218 and everything is great. WOW Im so grateful we decided to have NexGen come out and recheck the system. We would have been devastated paying for $4000 for a repair for what wasnt broken and still not fixing the problem. Quick to respond, very nice when I spoke with the lady who answered which we all know is rare these days.. we had no heat for the last few days and two separate companies later Nexgen was able to come in and fix the issue. We built a new home 2 1/2 years ago and the contractor chose Performance Heat and AC. We sold our home due to a move and a day before the closing, the air wouldn’t cool below 77. We were out of town and I called Performance for an emergency service. They said it would be middle of next week, despite explaining our situation to them. They simple said, sorry, we can’t help you.I immediately called Nex Gen and they were super understanding. Shayla was beyond nice and said they would send over a tech asap. She found two techs in the area and Edward called me within 5 minutes. He said he was on his way and would be there shortly.Shayla kept me updated to what was going on and Edward called me when he arrived.Lucky, it was a small issue and he was able to repair it quickly. NexGen didn’t even a charge us for the repair as the unit was still under warranty. They only charged me a service call, which was super cheap.NexGen saved our day and saved our closing. Without their assurance and quick response, we would’ve had to push out the closing days.Thank you Shayla and Edward for showing us that companies still care about the customer, even when they’re not current ones. You have gained a new customer and we’ve told everyone about you and your service.

We had a different company come out to diagnose an issue with high humidity in our home. The tech was there all of 15 minutes and suggested our unit was too small for our home. His recommendation was $12k new unit. Our home and the AC units are less than 3 years old mind you.We had Nexgen out the following afternoon. Cecil came out and actually ran some testing to find the cause of the issue. They saved me $12k over the previous companies laughable diagnosis. We will always call Nexgen for future needs.

Had them come out to clean the a coil. They came and removed it and cleaned it and put it back. The tech stayed and made sure everything was working properly.Had to call them back the next day which happened to be a Saturday and the tech called me right back and came without hesitation. He found what he thinks was the issue and fixed it.House now cools during the heat of the day to 74-76 degrees whereas before we had the coil cleaned it was hovering 80-81. Definitely recommend them for your ac needs.

I contacted NexGen on 6/26/2023 at 8am, they had Edward at my house by about 9am, he did a quick diagnosis and troubleshot the problem to less expensive fix than I was expecting. This felt like the prior service we used to get from companies before COVID. NexGen Heating and Air has it going on. Very polite and helpful customer service, and were already seeing 100+ degree F days now, AC companies get swamped. Id highly recommend NexGen.

As far as I can tell, the technical service was done right. We’ll see how it goes when the hot weather comes.But your people need to learn how to clean up after themselves coming into the house to check the thermostats. There was a trail of insulation Flex and out in the garage flex. The technician needs to use a removable Footy on your shoes or wear boots that can slip off. when when I hire professional services I expect them to be professional to the complete end of the job. Cleaning up behind your people wasn’t what I was expecting.

I had a unit go out and had another company come out and look at the system. They offered to replace a part on the old unit. Part was going to cost around $2200. Being that the unit was 13-14 years old, I inquired about a new system. They provided me a quote on a new Trane system for just under $8500 for a 14ser system. I was on Trane website and saw some special on financing so I asked the they came back that it was through a third party and there were fees. When I ask how much for the financing the can back with a figure of 10,485. Trades website didn’t mention anything about dealer fees so I requested for a local representative to call me. With in about fifteen mins someone from NexGen called me. We set up an appt to come out the following day. Shane came to review the system took him maybe fifteen to twenty mins and quoted me a price on a 16ser system not only below the financed amount the other company but almost $2000 under the cash amount. I asked about financing and he said there is a link on my website answer the question and you can get approved within mins. I asked if there were any other fees and he said no. We completed the application told Shane to order new system and within a few radius he had his crew out to install out system. Everyone involved has been professional, on time, and knowledgeable about the whole process. Would I recommend Shane and Nextel? 100%. I will be doing more business with Shane and his company because of the professionalism and honesty Shane has demonstrated.
