Walter was very professional (and nice) and reprogrammed my thermostat for me. The cost of labor and parts was very reasonable. He is definitely my new A/C guy. Would highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good things for Walter and his crew. Needed a new A/C and Mr. Cool arrived exactly on time, thorough with the process and didn’t try to upsell me anything. Very competitive pricing, cheapest one I found and honored the quoted price. They were able to install the unit same day and everything was up and running in less than 3 hours. It’s a shame I don’t see it quite enough but I really appreciate the shoe cover and even covering the carpet while they go thru and work in the attic. I have to say That Jose was fabulous. His brother Walter was also very attention to detail. I would highly recommend them compared to others. Their pricing wasn’t the highest, But I was fair. As far as his team putting in a new install on a 3 ton carrier AC I was hoping I didn’t need one, but they were very professional.

That kind of turnaround this time of year is a hard find! Walter always does good work, with fair prices, in an efficient manner. First time I had Mr. Cool Air Conditioning for a service. Mr. Walter came in for a free estimate and I decided to move on and replace my furnace with him. Mr. Walter scheduled the replacement on a Saturday, they arrived at 8am and about 12pm they were done. Very professional, they used a carpet protector all the way from the entrance door to the attic and did not mess up with my floor and carpet. He gave me a price up front with no surprises. During the installation he mentioned that the return air box was not required and gave me a discount for not using it, this was a very honest move and I really appreciated it. I really recommend Mr. Cool Air Conditioning.

Im a real estate agent and Ive used Walter for air conditioning inspections on at least 10 homes. During one of these inspections, Walter quoted replacement of two units out in the woodlands. Over a year later my client who purchased the home had him come out to replace both units. Walter recommended that he replaced the larger unit because it was used more and recommended that he gold off replacing the second smaller unit.Walter and all of the Mr Cool technicians are welcome to work on my personal home even if I am not there. He is not the least expensive but his pricing is fair and the quality of his work keeps me coming back.

We called late in the morning and, while they scheduled the appointment for late afternoon, Jose Luis arrived within 90 minutes.While the a/c unit was relatively new, it would run for a bit and then completely shut down. After checking the unit and main water line, Jose explained the line was partially clogged which caused the unit to shut down.We didn’t feel the need to get a second opinion as we felt comfortable from previous reviews, their pricing was fair and the work was good. The service was completed quickly. Jose even took the time to educate us on the importance of annual heater and a/c maintenance. I’ve used multiple AC companies in Houston and this was by far my best experience. I had a leaking evaporator coil and contacted a few companies for a quote. Each company required someone to come out and “inspect” the system but Walter (owner) worked with me over the phone to get me a quote. It was a great price compared to the large HVAC companies in Houston. After the job was done he came by to personally inspect the installation. I will definitely use Mr. Cool again for any of my HVAC needs. Highly recommend.

I had them out for my fall check up and he immediately notified me that my evaporator coil was not installed level w/ my plenum, which could cause a lot of problem with my system. Our 16 year old furnace was not working so we took a chance and called Mr. Cool because of their good reviews on Google and the NextDoor app. Jose came out and thoroughly inspected the furnace and he was able to get it to work again but explained to me what the issue was and that this was a temporary fix only. He advised me on my options to repair or replace, giving estimates for both that seemed to be at a reasonable price. I chose not to repair it because the furnace is old, so I am looking into replacing it after the holidays. Jose was very polite and very knowledgeable. Glad that I took the chance on a new company and it worked out where my expectations were met. Good to know that there are still companies out there that just want to do good honest work. I definitely recommend them.

I noticed my secondary drain line was dripping and getting worst. I called to have my primary drain line unclogged, and a system tune up.Oscar came out and unclogged the drain, added a section of pipe where I could clean the drain easily myself, wrapped the pipe due to condensation issues, and then showed me my capacitor was half of it’s expected micro readings, I got the system tuned up, the clogged drain fixed, and the capacitor replaced. Literally after I called for service, someone came to my door within 30 minutes!I’ve had 2 guys out the past 2 years from different companies who did so much less than Oscar did, they didn’t even open up the furnace to check the electronics, one of them I realized lied to me about the drains, and neither of them ever checked capacitor readings although they told me it the system was working harder than it should.All said. I am extremely pleased with Oscar’s work and his willingness to explain as I naturally like to learn. I didn’t ever feelPressured or as if I was being lied to or anything like that. I called on a friday night and left a message explaining about the ac not cooling enough especially now with the high temperatures, few mins later i got a text back from the owner, Walter. He said that he was going to try the next day saturday to send somebody cause they were already busy for saturday. Next morning he called me that he was sending somebody to my house. Tech came around 9am, his name was Jose. I explained to him about the cooling issue and that a company had came and replace one of the parts from the ac a couple of months earlier. He check the whole system and looked for leaks and after a couple of hours he couldnt find anything. He check the part that was replaced and it was okay. He said that maybe the tech forgot to add freon after replacing the part. He gave me a reasonable price to add freon. Not even 5 mins after adding the freon the house got really cooler. He also gave me an estimate on other things that i will do later on. Jose was really nice and explained everything to me in details. Thanks to Walter and Jose for taking their time to come and check my ac, now my house feels cooler even with the hot temperatures outside. I will call them from now on. I really recommend them AA+

Bought our first house in Katy and realized that the ductwork was sweating just to keep the house cool and humidity down. Called Mr. Cool and Jose came by to diagnose our problem. Ill leave the details out but he was very professional and even called a second tech out to confirm his diagnosis. He gave me some tips and advise to get by until I could replace the unit and rework the ductwork.They gave me a good price on a new unit and reworking the ductwork. They came out and replaced everything in a day. By that afternoon I had AC in a comfortable house with ductwork that wasnt sweating. Jose and their crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable the whole way through.Prior to them replacing the ductwork, my attic looked like a plate of spaghetti.
