Miller Climate Control in Georgetown TX actually FIXED my furnace when five other local HVAC companies have failed.For about 6 years now, my furnace has refused to light at any temp below 32 degrees. It’s now 19 degrees F and very windy with this arctic blast, and the heating is holding steady at 68!Miller has experience with 90% units like mine and broke down the unit more thoroughly than any previous HVAC company to work on it. He narrowed down the problem issue before getting advice from the tech support who suggested the part that needed replacing.So yeah - big fan of Chris Miller and his team. Their prices are affordable too.

The technician arrived earlier than expected, which was greatly appreciated due to the extreme heat. The issue was resolved efficiently and Mr. Miller provided exceptional customer service, addressing all of our questions and concerns. Realizing late, a couple nights ago, the air coming out of the vents wasn’t blowing cold…. My husband and I started online scheduling and calling (leaving messages) 6 different A/C companies… including ”L&M Mechanical Services”, “Radiant”, and “Goettl”…. And Mr Chris Miller (owner) and his technician were the first to arrive (9am)!!I was so impressed and relieved with the quick response and fix that I signed up for the yearly maintenance! I wasn’t charged any “quick service” fee!!! Plus this was all on a Saturday!!!I’ve already told a couple neighbors about my experience and would highly recommended Miller Climate Control !!

Miller was a savior. My AC suddenly stopped working in this 100 degree heat. At 86 years of age with a serious heart condition I was in trouble. I contacted other HVAC services and all I got was future appointments. I decided to take a chance on a Georgetown company that I had no reference or information, just local reviews and internet recommendations, Miller Climate Control. Bingo! Melinda set met up for an immediate appointment but the tech diagnosed that my AC needed a special part. Levi, the tech assigned to do the work immediately made a trip to obtain the part, returned, fixed the AC, and I was back in business. Thanks, Levi, you are a competent courteous young man. Miller Climate Control will have my HVAC business in the future. Good work, good service, good price.

We got back from a trip at 7 PM on Friday to find the inside of the house hot. Try to reset Thermostat, check breakers, etc. No dice.Called Miller around 7:35 and dispatch said theyd call out to get scheduled and theyd call me back. Which they didnt, but 20 minutes later there is a knock at my door and the tech hands me his card.Within 30 minutes he has found a clogged drain and fixed it and AC is working.So less than an hour after I called, my AC is running. That is insanely good service and I know who I will be using in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about Miller Climate Control. My brother referred me to him and though he usually doesn’t travel to Austin for service, he did because I was a referral. I have been dealing with an AC leak issue on a rental unit I own, for about a month now and been going through a Home Warranty company. They could not fix the issue after 3 visits.Chris came down and spent over 5 hours working on my AC unit. He sent me photos and called periodically throughout to update me on his progress and what he was finding. He found the clog in the condensate drain line, repaired that correctly so it is easier to remove clogs in the future. He fixed the two switches to the unit which automatically shut it off if there is a clog, back-up or problem. He also cleaned the evaporator coils so they would work efficiently. The warranty company wanted to replace the coils completely and it was not covered by the warranty, so I would have had to pay for that out-of-pocket, which was well over $1000.Chris charged me a reasonable price for his time, parts and services and fixed the problem completely in one visit. Chris is an honest and dependable guy. Totally recommend and will use him again in the future!

My aging 90+yo parents AC went out on Friday afternoon during a 100+ degree heatwave. Their refrigerator had gone out only 2 weeks previously. We were going to use the same service guy that fixed the fridge to replace the original 23-yo AC system, since we trusted him, but he could not get his crew and all the equipment until the coming Tuesday.After calling around for some other AC company, we found Miller Climate Control, who was able to replace it on Sunday with the same brand system as the other guy proposed for about $300 less, despite the rush service. No emergency upcharge. They sold us only what we needed.I was able to coordinate the entire event with the owner, Chris Miller, over the phone and by email from 200 miles away. Chris guys were there by 10am, and the job was completed by 3pm, and my parents house was comfortably cool by 4pm.He dropped by again the following Tuesday to pick up the payment from my mom. Chris was very friendly, and made my parents feel well-cared for during this event.My parents and I were all very satisfied and would highly recommend Miller Climate Control again.

I have been with Miller Climate Control for over year now and I feel that Miller Climate Control has gone above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction beings with the unit installation but on-going service and support tell the real story.In the middle of last summer, I needed to find a new HVAC company. I looked at several before I decided to go with Miller Climate Control. Chris Miller came out and looked at my old system. He explained the issues he found and my HVAC options. He also refueled the Freon in my old system to allow me time to get my finances in place, and he worked with me on the payment. The installers were on time, performed the installation quickly and CLEANED UP when they were finished!The unit had a malfunction in the middle of winter and Chris and his team had to replace some parts. Again, their open and upfront communication about the issue and repairs needed was excellent. The work was scheduled and done in a timely manner.Chris is a great individual. !!!!!!!WILL NOT USE ANYONE BUT MILLER!!!!!!I can not recommend this company enough!! They are honest, cost effective, and just the best! I have a house in Jarrell and they have saved us from the heat 3 times, all same day repairs. I also have a rental house that the ac went out in. Technically the rental is out of their service area so I got a quote from a different company. $12,000-$19,000 for the repairs!!!! I didn’t trust it, so I called Miller and told Chris what was going on. They fit me in and went and checked the ac out same day. Quoted a fraction of what the other company did, and got the system blowing cold for my renters till they can come back out and fix it permanently. I can’t even express how blessed we are to have this great company save us from being robbed of 8k-10k dollars. If you’re in their area there is no one better to call for your ac repairs!

I called to set up an ac tune-up and talked to Chris, he was very helpful and answered all questions that I had. Carter came out a few days later to perform the service, very professional and knowledgeable. I had an incident unrelated to the the ac tune-up after hours. Chris answered the call at around 7pm when and I briefly told him the problem I was having. Chris and Levi arrived within 25 minutes, both of them were extremely friendly and within a few minutes found the issue. They worked until 11pm to make sure that I had ac, both very friendly and answered all questions and concerns that I had.I cant thank them enough for their time and dedication for helping me with the problem and resolving it and highly recommend them!

Hes one of the best service providers Ive ever used.Our A/C stopped cooling suddenly late one hot, August afternoon. Because of my husbands health issues, it was imperative to have our A/C fixed ASAP! After a couple of fruitless calls to other companies, I called Chris Miller. He was so friendly and nice on the phone, and when I told him about our situation, he said he could be over within an hour. About 1/2 hour later, Chris called to say hed be at our house in about 10 minutes. He arrived promptly and fixed our outside unit in no time. When I spoke with Chris on the phone earlier, he had suggested that the capacitor might be the problem. Sure enough, the capacitor was the culprit! Following his repair, the A/C works like a champ. Chris charged a very reasonable price and I will always call him for any work needed in the future. Thanks, Chris!

In the middle of a record-setting heat streak, our A/C decided that it was too hot and went on vacation. The indoor temp. hit 85 degrees and was still climbing, and being one of many Central Texans getting a taste of Hades, it was proving difficult to find someone available to come out on a Sunday evening to rescue us.We got a hold of Chris at Miller Climate Control, and he said he would be able to come out and help us in two hours after finishing his other calls. Not only did he arrive in half the time, he identified the problem immediately (bad capacitor), replaced it on the spot, and saved two weary parents from an inevitable night of complaining by the kids (they only complained it was too cold when they woke up in the morning).As with the other reviews (which I appreciate in helping me find Miller), I cant say enough about Chris and his team - all of the positive reviews highlighting their professionalism, responsiveness, experience, and genuine eagerness to help people with their desperate A/C problems are very well-deserved. I would HIGHLY recommend Miller for anything heat and A/C related.

Chris and his team are amazing!! AC went out and the house was 93 degrees inside, I called Chris and even though he was swamped he still came out same day to work on my unit.When he got there he diagnosed the problem within seconds!! He didnt have the part on him, but promised to be back in less 2 hours with the part and to fix it. Mind you this would be at 8:30 pm and he said the repair would take 2 hours. Chris and his partner showed up on time to fix the problem as quickly as they could, even though they were working in the dark. Even though Chris had car troubles he still kept his word, showed up and did amazing work!!The most amazing part of all of this is that he had a fun attitude and didnt let the heat beat him. I called Miller Climate Control on a recommendation from a friend. Surprisingly the owner answered and said he could come out within a few hours, and worked with MY schedule! When Chris arrived, he quickly determined that my circuit board was bad. I had one of the big Austin companies out just days prior and they completely misdiagnosed it, never solved the problem, and charged me a ton! Chris gave me an idea of what the board would cost, but had to wait until the next morning when suppliers were open. The next morning I received a message from Chris that he had the part, gave me a price lower than the estimate, and that he could be at my house in 45 minutes!Two days following the repair, my system stopped working again. I let Chris know, and though he was under the weather, he said he’d come the next day to help. Turns out, it was as easy fix as my drain lines were clogged, which I had checked previously but not this time. He never once made me feel stupid for something so simple, and didn’t even charge me for the quick trip and fix! Only asking to use my shop vac and bleach so he didn’t have to go back to get his. I’m never calling anyone else as long as Miller Climate Control is in business, and will recommend them to anyone needing AC work!

They walked us through all of the potential Central air units we could install and gave us the ups and downs of each unit. Originally we were thinking we wanted to over size due to how cool we like to keep it thinking it would drop our electricity costs. They showed us where and how the right size unit would save us more money and do exactly what we wanted it to do. They even balanced out our house so the whole house is the same temperature all the time!

Chris and his assistant were very courteous and efficient. My very expensive thermostat had never worked properly and the original installer refused to replace it, or provide me with the information I needed to have it replaced. My air conditioner would go off and the thermostat would go completely blank. I had to call him to fix what was going on. His explanation was always to guilt trip me and tell me I had failed to properly maintain or have it serviced. He said the thermostat was fine-it was all my fault. This summer it began turning off most of the day-just going blank at the thermostat.I finally called Miller Climate. Chris careful assessed the situation, and asked that I be patient while he checked all the boxes and crossed all the Ts. In the end he said the thermostat was defective and based on my description, always had been. It took a while, but he received the replacement unit under warranty, and came this week to install it, blow out my drip line-which was a mess!, and everything has been up and running perfectly!He has to drive from Georgetown to central Austin, so I feel a bit guilty for taking so much of his time for such a small fee, but I do not regret calling him and having my expensive AC system and $500 thermostat working properly for the first time since it was installed.

We had Chris replace our A/C and furnace because we have 2 original 1994 units where one of the compressors started going out and had a bad coil. He was quick to come help us get it re-started in the middle of the night and he had some good pricing on a number of options to get us going again.We called around another 5 HVAC companies and chose him in the end. The other guys were usually obviously more expensive but sometimes tried to hide the costs by making the system a bit cheaper and charging a bunch for the ductwork and accessories, which really makes me mad, it took me a few days to find all the tricks and call them all back to ask the right questions to get real quotes from everyone.Im also that guy who talks to the install crew the entire time and watches their every move, so I probably annoyed them a bit but I watched everything and they didnt do anything I would consider shady and seemed genuinely interested in making sure that it was installed correctly and not just quickly... which is, unfortunately, uncommon these days.Anyway, hopefully I did some work so you dont have to, just call Chris and get everything that needs fixing, fixed.

The best customer service from a Climate Control company I have ever had in 21 years of getting services on my AC unit. I had been dealing with my Warranty Company for over three weeks and three different contractors who failed trying to get my AC fixed and finally I got Miller Climate Control and they took care of me right away. They got me scheduled quickly, came out and did a diagnostic on my AC, ordered my compressor, and came out 3 days later to install the part and now my AC works great.
