I have the deepest appreciation for Alonso and the full McCullough team. My home wasn’t heating during the freeze, and Radiant told me that my entire HVAC would have to be replaced and quoted me $15,000. Thankfully I had some good folks around me who told me to reach out to McCullough for a second opinion.Not only did they show up the next day, they confirmed my system was in good working order, adjusted my thermostat to ensure that the home would continue to heat, and did it all for free.This company truly puts the customers interests first, and doesn’t use a hard situation to try to scam someone out of a sum that is equal to the down payment of a house. McCullough has earned a lifelong customer.

The technician, Mitchell, quickly diagnosed the problem and got it fixed and the heat working! Alvin the service tech came in and quickly made some adjustments to our duct work dampers. He is going to talk with his supervisor regarding doing some additional testing on our duct work.

Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Nick came out and diagnosed the problem with my 14 year old heater very quickly. He gave me options to repair or replace. He was prompt and professional.Follow-up: (a few months later) I called to have my heater fixed and Junior de Jesus came out and repaired my issue. He was efficient, had notes from Nick’s visit to give him a place to start from and completed the repair flawlessly. He was super-nice too.Both Nick and Junior spoke to me like I’m an intelligent person; no ‘mansplaining’ here! They were also dressed professionally.I highly recommend calling McCullough if you have any issues with your a/c system.

My AC Unit was only 3 years old but ran into major issues where the cooling completely stopped. Luckily still had the parts warranty and Kyle from McCullough walked me through the entire issue with all my options especially with what was covered and what was out of pocket. They provided discounting options through maintenance plan and they repaired everything as quickly as they could! I really appreciate all the time Kyle put in to resolve my AC issues within a day after the initial inspection.

A great experience with McCullough last month. I have an older Lennox furnace that I am trying to get one more season out of and I needed some troubleshooting because it was working fine but shutting off intermittently. The service call I received from McCullough was exemplary. The tech took time to really inspect and diagnose what the issue could be. He also listened to me to understand what had already been attempted to fix it. After a short time he solved the problem. It was actually a simple, analog fix yet 2 other companies who came to look at it completely failed.McCullough did the right thing and actually repaired my unit. They are now first on my HVAC referral list. The 2 other companies that came to look at it were a disaster. One of them just basically threw a part at it without any sincere effort to perform a diagnosis. The second company was even worse as their tech was only interested in selling me a brand new HVAC system and essentially pretended to inspect my furnace and said it was beyond repair.In contrast McCullough really helped me out. Their tech did also discuss the need for eventual replacement (its a 27 year old HVAC) but he did it AFTER repairing my furnace and in a way that didnt insult my intelligence.When it is time to replace my entire system, McCullough has earned the right to be my first call.

He explained the issue and that the part they needed had to be ordered, but got it quickly and was able to come back the next morning to get it installed. I got outstanding service from McCullough on a complete replacement of my home HVAC system including two new Carrier Infinity heat pump units and two dual-fuel air handling units in my attic. Chris M. did a great job surveying, planning, and estimating the work and following up after the installation. Gilbert G. led two crews doing the installation and did a great job. It was a difficult job in tight attic spaces but to my surprise they completed it in one day with excellent quality work. The system is working great and is very efficient. McCullough exceeded my expectations for service and the Carrier system is performing very well. I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs!

DeAndre Rodriguez is extremely thorough, explains everything he checks and has the pictures to show me. He also replaces my filter for me, its in the attic and not a fan of getting up there. Alvin Moore just completed my semi annual checkup before the heating season starts. Alvin has been here before and was exceptional then. What’s better than exceptional? Alvin Moore! He is friendly, thorough, efficient and respectful. He takes the time to explain what he does and what his findings are. He does this in plain English. He is also very neat, tidy and careful. He treats my house better than I do and I treat it pretty well. He is just a pleasure to deal with.This has been my experience with the rest of the McCullough team as well. McCullough recently replaced our garage apt split unit. Then we had a full home inspection where the unit didn’t heat up. Nick with McCullough came out and explained these units are very complex with certain delays when turning them on. The inspector had not waited long enough (5-10 mins) for the delay process. Another quality job and product from McCullough at no charge to educate the customer on the new HVAC advances. Works perfectly.

Fantastic service. The tech that showed up (Joey), was on time, professional, and personable. He fixed our problem and presented options concerning our system. He was very knowledgeable and shared that knowledge with me. Great tech! Install team arrived on Friday for replacement of A coil in unit in the attic. Ricardo and Adrian did great job. Another problem arose with compressor. It had gone out. Joey came back and replaced the outside unit, making sure my wife and I had cool air for the weekend. He stayed until he was sure everything was operating correctly. We were pleased with the great service! 9/18, Joey came back to check levels from work done last week and recommend added fixes to get the system to peak performance. He provided estimate of costs and what these improvements would actually do. As always, it was a pleasure dealing with him.

Our AC was not cooling and I called McCullough using our prepaid unlimited diagnostic program The technician, Mitchell, promptly discovered what had failed (subsequently confirmed) , pointed out that costly $3,000 repair was not the best decision to make on a 14 year old 5 ton Carrrier unit. The salesman, Joe, promptly arrived, agreed with Mitchell, proposed a new Carrier replacement at a good discount. Installation went smoothly two days later and unit is working well. All debris was removed. Could not have been done better. I later learned price was very competitive and fair.

Starting with the sales process, Alex identified duct and return work that was wrong in our existing system that was contributing to issues I was having and other firms did not identify these items. The installation team was efficient, knowledgeable and neat. There were a couple minor items I needed addressed after installation and Jensen, the installation supervisor, came promptly and addressed the matters. I will be highly recommending them to folks in my area.

He correctly seated the motor and removed the paper User Manual that was stuck inside the gas heater. He turned up the fan volume and reset the error code. The fan now sounds like a gale force wind running through the vents. I wonder if the fan volume could be reduced and the heater still work properly. The extra dust blowing through the vents is stirring up my allergies. Junior, thanks for coming out!

I purchased an HVAC unit last year, and was told and promised that I get 1 complimentary maintenance service. I scheduled one this year on 11/1/2024. The serviceman Dereck came by and only did the maintenance for the heater, and told me that i will get another free service in the spring for AC. I called the office, they told me that is only for paid members. Its quite disappointing. And when Dereck did the maintenance on 11/1, he pulled out the air filter, and put it back in opposite direction of the airflow (away from heater instead of toward the heater). I found that out when i replaced the filter today. thats pretty bad.Update 11/11: service manager reached out and helped schedule another complimentary appointment in the spring and fall of next year. They really didnt have to do this, but this shows that they care about their customers and stand behind their work. I really appreciate that. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend their service and system to anyone.

I was very impressed with his thoroughness and attention to detail as he discussed the various components of the system and how they worked. He was not pushy on any services but did a great job of explaining my options. The value received for the small service fee to diagnose my system was well worth the price. He essentially did a semi-annual check up which I was pleasantly surprised by. I cannot speak to the quality of work for install or repairs as I have not used their services previously , however , for customer service, friendliness. and industry knowledge I would highly recommend you consider this company for your heating and cooling needs.

I recently purchased new heat pumps and hybrid heating systems from Jensen of the Georgetown office. Jensen took the time to talk about what I wanted and then he offered multiple solutions and explained each one in terms of how they would meet my requirements. Great pricing, and even better installation services. The guys installing the equipment were super professional in that the way they installed the equipment exceed my expectations. Every connection, every seal, where done in a clean looking fashion. Great attention to detail! In the past, I have had installations that looked like something I would have done. In addition, they fully tested everything and made adjustments as necessary to ensure the systems were running at peak efficiency. Jensen actually spent time helping install the equipment. He also came back a few days later to do a quality inspection of the installation and and spent time with me to make sure I understood how to get the most benefit out of the systems.

Really appreciate the guys at McCullough. We replaced our entire HVAC system and the install was fast and quite (barely knew they were there). Weve had a few technicians come back since then to make a few tweaks and everything was super professional and informative. They take the time to explain everything with a great attitude. One issue we had was my fault completely but they took care of it at no charge. Not the cheapest option out there but the customer service is superb. Definitely worth it if you going to spend $$$ on a new AC.

I would have never known until cold weather set in and maybe not even then. The result would have been another service call and more fees. Wow, just, wow. Let me first say how glad I am that we canceled our First American Home Warranty. Last time we had an AC issue, we were out of service for three weeks due to a fight between First American and their local provider. ANYWAY: We found our AC out at 1am on Saturday August 10th. To my shock, when I called the 24hr number, someone answered. Then they committed to a tech visit later that day. At 10am Saturday, Mitchell called me on his way. 1030, Mitchell arrived and immediately diagnosed the fan motor as having failed. With the parts supplier closed for the weekend Mitchell committed to follow-up on Monday and installation ASAP. 10am Monday morning Mitchell called me on the way with the new motor. By noon Monday we had cool air blowing - that’s 2 1/2 days - I am SO stunned! Thank you so much McCullough and Mitchell!!

Mccullough always comes thru for me. Purchased new Carrier about 4yrs ago from them and they handled all the warranties Austin permit and rebate. Plus Electric company set up. Setting up a service call they give you an all day window but service will call a few minutes ahead to give you a heads up. McCullough had installed some extra vents and additional insulation for us several years ago when we first moved in. When our AC went out on a 107 degree day, they answered the phone after hours and promptly put us in the schedule for the next day. Alonzo gave me plenty of notice prior to his arrival and got right to work diagnosing the problem. He was courteous, honest and efficient. He didn’t try to upsell me. He had the needed part on his truck and was done with the repair (fan motor) in under an hour. I felt the pricing was fair given the average cost of the part and labor this time of year. The repair was done so swiftly and early in the day that the house was completely cooled down by bedtime and we didn’t need to get a hotel room for a second night. I knew the issues with my HVAC would be big, so I chose 3 local contractors to diagnose and give me bids. One no longer was locally owned. McCullough was not only the best bid, they didn’t try to oversell what I needed to make my system run efficiently. I also liked the representative who came out, and every single individual I interacted with during the process. I was signing a document that needed two witness signatures and the installers even, happily did this for this for me!I started to have noise issues, they were prompt in sending a qualified technician, and flexible about scheduling around me, not themselves. It was discovered that the blower motor was out of line, (a lemon) they ordered the parts, had them the next day and got the job done-right-around my schedule. Telling me what to look for if I had any future concerns or problems.I paid 50% less than the other better known (by heavy advertising) local firm, got 100% customer service, from skilled and friendly technicians, and an exceptional labor and products warranty, without any additional cost. I got the peace of mind knowing that they would be here for as long as I or a subsequent owner needed me.Also, the guys in the photos are actually the guys who come out!

Our experience was fantastic. Y’all were really thorough to find the issue with our a/c, explain it in understandable terms and then sent the a real professional out to repair it, our coil in the attic needed to be replaced. We had another company look at it too. One we had done business with for 14 year. All they wanted to do is replace the whole system. McCullough actually tested the system and we only needed the coil (saved is thousands of dollars) the technician (Desmond) that mccullough sent was outstanding!
