We had Lycos Electric come out to install an outdoor camera for us. Martin was quick to respond, provide us a quote, and get us scheduled. He was extremely professional, knew what he was doing, was very respectful of our home and did an amazing job! Wed definitely recommend Lycos and would use them again any time.

Lykos Services was instrumental in bringing my welding shop to life. The first thing needed was to get a bigger transformer to handle my power needs. Lykos built everything in preparation for the next step. Martin and Juda worked with the local power company to organize a seamless transition to a new 400-amp service. Then, over 150 feet of cable was run to my shop to bring power to me. While working on the lights and outlets inside, Martin and Juda worked very late into the night to ensure I was up and running. Their smile and professional demeanor never left, even at such a late hour and after a long day. These guys are very professional. Their work quality is the best I have ever seen. As stress free as can be imagined. Thank you Lykos! You are my go-to company from now on.

Cant say enough good things about Martin and his family. I have been working with Martin for a couple of years now, and he always takes great care of our rental properties and tenants.Before meeting Martin, I had tried working with the bigger companies in town, but I was always disappointed by how they tried to sell me services I didnt need or charge me exorbitant prices for the work that needed to be done. Martin is a total expert at both HVAC and electrical work, and his prices are reasonable. I trust him completely. If he says something needs to be done, I do it without hesitation.Additionally, he is timely and totally professional, so if I cant be at a rental house when the work is done, Im not worried because I know he will be respectful of my tenant while the work is being done.Highly recommend.

We hired Lykos to replace the electric panels on our house after getting quotes with several other electricians in-town. We were very pleased with their promptness, professionalism, and the quality of their work, which far exceeded our expectations. On two occasions our house threw then some curve-balls and they were able to adapt quickly. They were also affordable and worked efficiently to minimize the time we were without power. We were thrilled with our experience and would happily refer them to friends and family!

Martin and his team do an amazing job. We had an old house with aluminum wiring. They fully rewired it and redid all of our AC duct work for a fair price. Even put in Cat6 Ethernet throughout for us.We ran into issues with our handyman and drywallers but Martin was always patient and helpful, even coming out to fix an AC issue that was separate from the original job.Cant recommend these guys enough if you need work done in the Austin area.

Would recommend and will use for all my future needs. Was able to make an appointment for someone to come out less than 24 hours after calling. Received text confirmation, Martin came on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it for free, and gave me his professional opinion and estimate for a future job. All the while with social distancing and a mask on. Highly recommend.

They were able to diagnose and correct a problem with wired smoke alarms that was caused by my tenant disabling the system. Im very grateful for their professional and competent service!

We called Lykos Electric and AC after a series of events that were out of our DIY scope.Our HVAC stopped pushing heat at the beginning of winter.We were still diagnosing the issue when an outlet in another part of the house caught fire (likely overloaded by our space heater) and we luckily noticed the smell of smoke.Lykos scheduled 2 appts. and sent an AC tech to the first one, and Martin and his son arrived later for the electric issue.All appts were scheduled with text notification and text updates which was very efficient and professional. I was able to ask a few questions via text for clarification, and both teams arrived promptly per their appt. times.But the most important thing is that they were very professional and obviously beyond Pros. They had our heat working within an hour.After changing the burned outlet, they diagnosed the culprit which exposed a huge silent problem spanning years. They tightened wires all over the place and made things much more secure, but they also discovered areas that are not fully code compliant (even though previous work had passed inspection).They mapped out the additional work needed for us to get everything up to code and gave us a priority list. I wont consider using anyone else for the next phase of work. Martin and his team are wonderful, dependable, fair and competent.Im really happy we found them, and Id highly recommend Lykos Electric and AC for any AC or electric work you need.

These guys are awesome! Had them assist with my HVAC maintenance and a Nest issue. It’s obvious they know what they are doing and they are a local family owned business. I risk I could find folks like this for every trade but for HVAC and electrical they will definitely be my go to!
