Terry with Lone Star Air Systems was absolutely amazing. The AC system was faulty which cause several major problems within my home. Terry along with his team took charge to ensure me and my family were taken care immediately. The replacement of units, ductwork, purification system ect. were completed. Terry ensured we were comfortable, home was repaired, cleaned and returned us to better than normal air quality within our home. Chris came out on today and ensured vents were replaced and areas were cleaned. He was super professional. Thank you Terry-VP, President/Owner for assisting us fully in the replacement of our unit. I had a great experience with Lone star Air. The ladies who answer the phone are friendly and professional and so are the techs who come out. They protected my carpet and even vacuumed up their mess. They wore shoe covers and respected my house. There was a slight issue after they left. I called back and they sent the tech back the same day and got it fixed correctly at 4:30 on a Friday. I’m so grateful they did not make me wait all weekend. Their customer service is excellent! The proposals are so clear of what is needed and why. I would definitely recommend this company! 5 stars. -

Really quite impressed by how professional and thorough Lone Star has been.. we’ve gotten multiple quotes from other HVAC companies and it’s not that they’ve “charged less” but I haven’t felt like I’ve had the wool pulled over my eyes as a woman handling things for her home and being taken advantage of. They got to the ACTUAL root of our problem and didn’t try and just sell us a new AC unit. Feels hard to find companies to trust lately and have felt like we’ve been in such good hands with Lone Star. Communication has been excellent even with the home office. Absolutely a company worth using. -

I purchased a home in 2021 and Lone Star Air systems is the company that installed my a.c unit. Earlier this week (8/2024) my ac stopped working. I called them to take a look and they want to charge me $100 to look at the a.c. unit they Installed. There is no way the ac unit should be going out after being installed for only 3 years. The customer service rep told me my unit may be under warranty, but I have to pay $100 before she can tell me if it is or not. How does that make sense.UPDATE: I spoke to a manager at Lone Star and she explained the process to me, including the service fee. A technician came out and looked at my ac unit and explained different things about my units that I didnt know. They are going to fix the motor AND its still under warranty! -

We had the split AC unit go out in our garage apartment. Called Lone Star, got a very fair quote on a Mitsubishi 2 ton unit and installation. The very next day Ray and his assistant arrived with the new split. They removed the old split and installed the Mitsubishi outside and inside units. I cant say enough good things about Ray (and his helper). They were very professional, great communication, and they took a great deal of pride in their work.Highly Recommend Lone Star Air Systems. I reached out to Lonestar Air Systems for a quote after our heater stopped working. Ray Cruz, the technician who came to our home is a God sent. He was able to pinpoint the problem, preventing us from incurring unnecessary costs. I had another company proposed a $2700 repair replacing all the motors and dampers which was not necessary. Ray resolved the issue with a straightforward sensor replacement, saving us $2400. We are extremely satisfied with the service provided by Lonestar Air Systems / Ray Cruz and highly recommend them for their honesty and dependable service. -

10/10 service. Sayed Hosseini the lone star technician servicing my A/C system went above and beyond. He found a faulty sensor, replaced it quickly and got the A/C working again. (Or so we thought).While completing his service notes in his van. The A/C unit began to turn on and off not cooling the house.He returned and began troubleshooting once again until finding the issue. (Too much pressure). He stayed and additional few more hours than what was expected from the service call to make sure the A/C was fully operational before he departed. -

We used Lone Star Air Systems years ago and then moved. We had gone with a different company when we moved into our new home that had been recommended to us and had not been happy for years. I was finally able to locate them again (I had forgotten the name of the company) and I’m so glad I did. From the moment they answer the phones; it’s prompt, pleasant and professional. They do their best to get you in as quickly as possible. We had Ray Cruz as our technician and he performed an incredibly thorough check of our entire systems. He showed me through pictures and videos of all his findings. Explained what the numbers meant on the machines he was using to do the checks and where they should be; something that had never been done in all of my other services and repairs with the other company. He took his time, was professional and very knowledgeable!!!!! I really couldn’t be happier and soooo glad we are back to using such a great company; something that is difficult to find nowadays. -

I recently noticed a water stain in my upstairs ceiling. This home was a new build and I closed in 2020,so it became concerning to see the stain in my ceiling. I contacted the builder and the person they sent to my home immediately stated it was my fault for the issue and my A/C setting caused condensation in the ceiling. They stated since I caused the problem I would be given a one time courtesy visit from Lone Star. They didnt know it but in the end I realized it was the first great decision they made. Initially our meeting was awkward because I thought they worked for the builder. Once that was cleared up Rudi (Service Tech) and Alex his trainee explained to me what the real issue was. When the home was built there was a cap that had never been removed which caused a leak. Rudi Ortega explained the issue to me in terms I truly understood. He taught me there are still good and honest people in this world. It also speaks volumes for Lone Star,because great core values creates a great company and great employees like Rudi. I would highly recommend this company for any type of A/C issues. -

I was able to get a next-day appointment with this company, which was awesome. My technician was Ricky Rodriguez and he was FANTASTIC!! He was the ultimate professional. He thoroughly inspected my unit and installed a new thermostat. He took the time to help me set up the Honeywell app on my phone to control the thermostat and was extremely patient and explained how everything works. He wore his mask the entire time he was here and he even let my nosey dog sniff him! I highly recommend this company and make sure to tell them to send you RICKY!!!! -

Bruce was kind enough to reach out personally to discuss the problem, explain how it occurs, and remedied the situation in a fair way. Unfortunately, lone star is installing another companies product which can have issues but they will work with you on the warranty claim and then on the labor as well. I was a detractor but I fully support this business and would recommend and use them in the future. -

Bryan (the tech) came out charged me $90 dollars for the trip and wanted to charge me for the thermostat that is supposed to be free of cost according to Honeywell. I refused to pay. Bryan was however very polite heard me complaining with patience. In business you always have issues. Its how quickly and to how much to a customers satisfaction you resolve the issues, makes the difference. I Heard back from Denny Patterson the VP at the company. He explained what the confusion was and fixed my issue the next day. This is how to turn a bad experience to a good one. Good Job Lone Star. -

Our HVAC system stopped working during the hottest week of the year. Our builder gave me their contact as they installed the AC. I called them just as they opened at 8am and forgive me for forgetting her name but she was wonderful. I told her our house was so hot, that butter and coconut oil turned to liquid. That seriously happened.She contacted a service worker to basically squeeze me in before his normal schedule. He was at our house within the hour! Hallelujah! We had an old car that we dont drive parked under the attic door and I had to attach the car battery to move the car. The service person even tried helping with by letting me use his tool. So nice.He checked the unit in the attic and outside and found that the one outside had no Freon and since we had someone come out the week before to top off the unit with Freon they decided to replace the unit under warranty and to top off the unit again with Freon until the replacement came in a few days later.3 instances of contact, the phone, the initial diagnostic service and the installation. Everyone was courteous and on time. I would totally use them again. -

May 17, 2018: Raymond has done the Spring and Fall Checks on my AC and heater for the last 3 years. He is punctual and professional. When I had a problem with my air conditioner a year and a half ago, Lone Star promptly scheduled a technician to come to my home. Raymond had my air conditioner running in no time at all which I appreciated since it was the middle of August. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. I will continue to use Lone Star (and to request Raymond). Addition to this review made on June 27, 2018: Last night (June 26, 2018), my AC stopped working. I contacted Raymond (technician who has done all previous service at my home) at 7:30 PM. He told me some things to check and let me know that the issue was probably the capacitor. Raymond advised me to call Lone Star to get on the schedule for today. I provided my information for the answering service at 8 PM last night. I was contacted at 7:20 this morning and told that a technician would be out today. Raymond contacted me at 9:45 AM to ask if I had a time frame for repair. I informed him I did not have a window for the repair. Raymond told me that I was not on his schedule for the day, but he said he would call the office to check the status. At 10:40 AM. a technician named Buck called to say that he would be at my home in 45 minutes. Buck and his assistant Kendrick arrived earlier than I expected at 11:15 AM. They were professional and polite. Buck explained what they would be doing. The capacitor was replaced, and my air conditioning was running by 11:30 AM. I would give Raymond, Buck, and Kendrick 10 stars if I could. -

My experience with the company wasnt so pleasant. I went through the the coldest week here in Houston with out any heat. I have 3 children and we had to purchase space heaters. During that time, 2 lonestar technicians came by and didnt even stick around for 10 minutes. They said the problem was a result of lose wiring. They manually turned the furnace on and left. With in 30 minutes my furnace was back to not functioning. I called their office but they were busy they couldnt send someone until 2 days later.I finally came across a great employee. His name is Ray Cruz. This employee took his time on our attic and checked every possible problem the furnace could have. /he didnt leave in 10 minutes. He took over an hour to examine everything. Thank goodness for Buck with Lone Star Air! On Mother’s Day we woke up to a scorching house. Buck arrived just an hour after we called. He was able to access the problem and he started the repairs immediately. He even noted issues that we were not aware of. He explained everything very well and even came back the following day to fix the drainage issue he found. We are so happy with his work, we will be calling on him again for our route maintenance. I bought a new a/c and furnance unit from Lone Star Air Systems. The installers were efficient and finished in 6 hours. The next day the technician Robert, followed up to check out the system and calibrate the propane. The Salesman and all involved were very nice and got the job done in a timely manner. -

My service technician was Buck and he was awesome!! I asked him to come by to do a routine maintenance check on my unit and he went above and beyond; by changing the filter as well as offering to use Clorox for cleaning my drain pipes. He also thoroughly explained tips on how to better care for my unit. It was much appreciated!! I will definitely be using Lonestar for any HVAC needs and encourage others to do likewise. -

Their specialty is air conditioning and it shows. I never call anyone else and tried about five other providers before I found them. From their office staff to their technicians, they are very professional. Michelle in the office is efficient, kind and effective. Buck, the technician, was also professional, diagnosed the problem, ensured the part was obtained, and the ac was fixed!! They’re he best. -

Thank you lone star air systems for your dedication. After a long day at work I came home to a hot house. 94 degrees inside. It seemed impossible for anyone to make it out the same night but thier dedicated employee Ricky saved the day and got my a.c. cooling so I can rest. He kept me informed from the time I called till he was in route. He also spoke very highly of his management and leaders. I recommend LSAS to everyone in need of HVAC. The office staff is also very courteous. -
