    My brother in law works in commercial HVAC and he said this is the residential HVAC business he recommends. We appreciate their promptness when our AC stopped working in July. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for a reasonable cost for the item, their time, and talent. Also, prior to them fixing our most recent issue, they solved a problem our inspector found - a stop switch was missing for the pan so that the AC stops working when it’s overfilling to prevent damage to our drywall and ceiling since our unit is in the attic. They installed the stop switch for a reasonable cost. Highly recommend this company. Honest people.

    We have used Lawhon Heating & Air for years at multiple locations. They are always quick to answer any questions and provide expert advice and excellent service. This summer we had a unit that sprung a leak and they were able to get a replacement unit and get us back up and cool in a matter of a couple of days.

    Our 18 year old AC compressor failed late on a Friday afternoon. Sam replaced the compressor the NEXT morning, on a holiday weekend, and Brandon replaced the condenser coil.     We were at the beach, and our collage student son was home by himself. When our son called that AC wasn’t working I was worried. A freind had recently used them, and was happy with the service so I called.My son had never hosted a home repair of any kind, but Lawhon was very Profesional, took the time to accurately diagnose and repair. There was one component that was replaced, they didn’t gouge, or do anything that flagged me as suspicious, the cost was fair.In addition to the great service, they were very responsive and communicated clearly what was going on the whole time.I will certainly call them next time I need service.

    Wow! Just wow! My AC was blowing hot air so I called for a service tech to come out. Brandon arrived in less than 30 minutes and had the problem diagnosed and repaired in less than an hour.Cost for the repair was fair and the customer service was fabulous.     I accidentally punctured the coolant line of my AC while hanging a picture. They came out on a Saturday evening and were there within an hour. Their service was great, and fairly priced, especially for weekend emergency call. Almost all the cost was for the coolant itself. Highly recommend.

    Brandon and the guys installed three new units in my new dog facility 4 years ago. Since then, Ive had a few things go wrong and they come out quickly to get things resolved. Sometimes its a little tough to get a hold of them, but Brandon always seems to get the message and get someone out to help. Unfortunately, Im not always expecting them, so I miss them, but overall these guys have been the best to work with and the fastest at getting me back up and running.They also dont overcharge you like some other companies try to. I got two different quotes for over $300 and over $600 for the same job Brandon;s guys did for less than $200, which is what the part and short service call should have been. Thanks guys!

    Lawhon installed a mini split heat pump in my garage workshop. Their price was the best I received and they were able to install it the very next day after the electrical connection was ready. Im a very satisfied customer!

    Lawhon was referred by a friend of mine and I was not disappointed. They were able to identify the issues we were having with our AC. The showed us whoever installed it had to know there was broken a pan and tried to ceil it. They were able to replace the broken pan and reinstall our AC correctly. I was very impressed with Daren and highly reccomend this company.

    I’ve used several companies in the Austin area but none of them have come close to the exceptional service provided by Lawhon Heating & Air. These guys are very professional and are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to HVAC systems. Darren was our technician and he was super solid! He was prompt, polite and was able to quickly identify the problem our HVAC system was having. Fortunately, our unit was still under warranty, so Darren and team ordered the part we needed.     I contacted Lawhon as I was having issues with my new home builders warranty department. The builders HVAC company had been to my house 4 times at that point for a loud banging noise when my HVAC unit would come on but stated that nothing was wrong. Lawhon came out, heard the issue first time, told me what the issue most likely was but recommended I work through my builders warranty to save me money. Unfortunately Ive continued to have issues with my builders warranty department and will escalating through legal avenues. I contacted Lawhon again for any notes that they had for my appointment and the owner had his technicians notes to me within 30 minutes. I would definitely use Lawhon again.

    I heard about Brandon through a friend from work, so I called him to see if he could go to my parents house to help with their AC. They had several other companies out and all they did was take their money and fix it. Brandon went out and really looked around, told them the issue and did something so it would work until he could really fix it at no cost to them until he was able to come out and really fix it. He provided me with the comfort of knowing someone was taking care of my parents since I wasnt there. We have since recommended him to other people.

    Our Air conditioner died after 20 years on a Saturday afternoon we callled our service company they told us we had to wait till Tuesday just to have someone come out and diagnose the problem. My wife was referred to Lawhon Heating & Air with a great recomendation they are dependable and always provide great service. I called Lawhon on Monday afternoon and was told they would have some at our house the next day at 8:00 am. They arrived the next day at 8:00 am diagnosed that our condensor was bad. I asked if they could replace our entire sytem and about how long would we have to wait he said they could replace it that day. They left to get parts came back and had our system replaced that day up and running in about 6 hours!!! They were very paitent and took the time to explain the proceedure. Very glad to have Lawhon for new A/C service company.

    Quote for reasonable 16 SEER 3.5 and 3 ton units, with new ductwork and optional filter in that beat 3 other competitors, excellent service with a turnaround time of two days (one for quote, and next for the full installation). Even installed Nest thermostats upon our request. Added tray and safety shutoff valves for extra safety against water damage. Wouldnt use anyone else for HVAC needs. Brandon and his team were super professional and had no-BS when it came to cost and price.

    Very fair and reasonable, and they do good work. Ive used them on a number of different jobs over the years, and they have always been very fair and trustworthy, which can be a hard thing to find in air conditioning repair. They dont try to hustle you, and they know their stuff.

    These guys really know there stuff (Im an old AC guy myself). I have a 4-ton Carrier heat pump that was installed in 2011. I came home to a hot house due to a faulty compressor that had already been replaced twice by another contractor. I called Tedford and they came out the same day. They were able to get it going but warned me that I may have a compressor issue. Low and behold, if failed completely that night. I called Tedford the next day and they came by and verified the failure and replaced the compressor. They were kind enough to note that the previous installer had not installed a new filter/dryer, and had installed a hard start kit that was actually older than the unit itself. They purged the lines, drew a good vacuum, and charged it up. Brandon and Co. were fairly priced, professional, fast, and did the job right. Many thanks guys!

    They came when they said they would. On time is very important to me. They are very honest in their work not giving one price one day then raising it when they come out. They do the work they say they are going to do. They dont make a mess of the house and they are vet respectful. I am old school and this counts a great deal in my book.     In the fall of 2017, I had three other HVAC companies come out to see why my downstairs was so much warmer than my upstairs. The other HVAC companies could not figure it out. Brandon at Tedford HVAC worked with my work schedule and met me after work, assessed the situation and fixed it in less than 2 hours. I just had him back for my spring check up and he found another issue in our 10 year old AC unit and we could fix it quickly before it turned into a bigger problem. Brandon is efficient and always arrives on time. The customer service and communication is great!
