Found K-MAC when we lived in Cedar Park a some years ago. Kevin came out at that time. Since moved to Leander. They installed a unit for our downstairs. In-Laws in Georgetown also needed a unit a few years ago. Called no one but K-MAC. It’s been almost 4 years since we’ve needed them again (knock on wood!).I highly recommend this company for HVAC.

We purchased a brand new a/c system through KMAC in early 2023 and their service is top notch! We even had a few minor follow up requests and their after the sale service and response time has been excellent. Yesterday, our Ecobee thermostat stopped working causing the downstairs a/c unit to shut off. I sent a request in the evening and they scheduled a service call early the next morning. It turned out to be a clogged a/c drain line...which is my fault! Bryan was able to clear the line and problem solved within 15 minutes. A quick hand-shake and he was off to help someone else.

First major AC service experience and Im glad I ended up with KMAC. They were willing to provide me an estimate by phone and completely open on telling me to shop the quote around. They laid out options, articulating the cost benefit analysis without upselling me on anything or forcing a decision. That kind of transparency and confidence shows me they make their living on quality service and long term business with their customers. The actual system installation was also extremely smooth. Scheduled by text one evening, two days later started work at 8am and Im enjoying cold air by lunch. KMAC will continue to be my AC service from now on and recommendation to others.

KMAC Air Conditioning sets the bar in my book on how to do customer service. They are knowledgeable, respectful and always have your interests in mind. They are the only ones Ive used in the 18 years I have owned my house. I was surprised to learn that they keep notes about my system so they will be prepared should there be a next time! KMAC was highly recommended by many neighbors last week when the a/c unit in our rental home stopped cooling, so I called them up, and they were out that same afternoon! The tech performed some work that day, and when it didnt seem effective by the next afternoon, the owner himself and the tech came back out for follow-up. The owner spotted some details that had been overlooked, serviced the unit again, and not only is it performing better than it did before, but he saved my landlord more than $2000 of estimated possible repair costs!! The owner, Kevin, and his wife, Julie, are not only friendly and knowledgeable, they also run a fair and respectable business with a loyal following in the community. Since just last week, I have referred two now-also-loyal-to-KMAC friends for service to their a/c units, and will continue to send business their way. Thanks, Kevin and Julie!!

KMAC was recommended to me by my best girlfriend. I called them in the afternoon and they had a technician come out to the house within a couple of hours. Technician was great. We did not have to suffer in our hot house. Fast and friendly service. Will spread the word on how great they are and recommend them to everyone!!!

An A/C Man with Integrity, couldnt ask for more. After a situation where I was out of town and my wife had to take care of our A/C issue, 2 companies tried to tell her that we needed a brand new A/C. Kevin came in and assessed the situation the way it should be done and was able to diagnose the Real problem for a fraction of the cost the others were trying to charge.I would absolutely recommend KMAC (Kevin Moody) to whoever is looking for an honest and professional assessment.

Our AC just started having trouble last night so I called KMAC at 7am this morning and here it is not even 9am and my AC has been serviced and we are back in business! It doesn’t get more prompt than that, honestly. Very nice people, super fast service! Very thankful to have KMAC around when we need them! We recently re-roofed a customers house and unfortunately, they had AC lines too close to the underside of the decking and a nail punctured the line. Kevin and his team responded quickly and resolved the issue for a reasonable price. They did great work for us.

These guys are great. We were having some issues with our AC several times in July and they all responded quickly, came out to the house timely and were very professional and fairly priced.We saw Phillip, CJ and Kevin. We have been keeping them busy just in 1 month. When CJ and Kevin came, they helped us resolve the issues that did not require repair, and they didnt even charge us a service call fee. You dont find companies like this around anymore! They definitely have earned our future business.They definitely have earned our future business!

The fan on the outside portion of our AC unit was having trouble starting. I called Kevin early this morning (before 8:00 am) and left a message to schedule an apt. He quickly returned my call and asked how he could help.We discussed the issue and the troubleshooting Id done so far and he was very friendly and easy to talk to. He came out a couple hours later and quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty fan motor capacitor). He had a replacement part with him and let me know that the part was under warranty so Id only have to pay for the service visit. Everything was back up and running within about 15 minutes.I talked to Kevin as he worked and he was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained what the problem was. Kevin will defiantly be my go-to for all things AC going forward.Thanks Kevin!

Called after hours because my AC went out in the evening. Got a text back that night asking if 11am the next day was ok. They called ahead saying they were running a little ahead of schedule. Showed up at about 10:50am. Capacitor and fan motor replaced and back in business. This is the third time I have called them in 15 years and every time the service is as excellent. I have a slow coolent leek. The first time I called them they said they had someone in my neighborhood already and they showed up about 30 minutes later. When you AC goes out on a 100 degree day speed is King and these guys rock.

Kevin has saved us a lot of money fixing our ac unit. The capacitor went out and he came out and replaced it. When it went out again after just two years he warrantied the capacitor and replaced it for only labor the charge.
