    It is a great company to work with! Very nice people, very efficient, reasonable prices, cleans up after themselves, on time to every job, and numberous family members have used them. I would highly suggest KAC to everyone!And I would like to mention, they came to fix my elderly moms central heat, (they have helped keep a 24 year old unit running because of lack of funds) finally it was just worn out. It was going to be in the upper 20s that night, they put in a new unit in a few hours!!! Very thankful.

    I recently had an excellent experience with KAC Express for an AC repair, and I cant recommend them enough. Trung and his team were professional, responsive, and very understanding of my situation as a renter. Unlike another AC company that turned me away simply because I wasn’t the homeowner, KAC Express had no problem working with me. They patiently allowed me time to coordinate payment with my landlord, who lives in Mexico, which was a huge relief. Their service was efficient, respectful, and hassle-free.     Our AC Went out in June in Kingwood Texas. KAC Express was our second call, and I’m glad we called them. They came right out and gave us options from trying to fix the existing unit that failed to replacing both furnaces and AC systems. Since our systems had not been replaced since Before flooding From Harvey, we ended up replacing both. Price was very attractive and the Very professional crew had the work done in less than two days. Highly recommended.

    These guys are amazing. They are punctual, professional, efficient, and affordable. I cant say enough good things about them. My ac stopped producing cool air at 3am on a Sunday morning. They opened at 6 and were at my house by 10. Its now 10:30 and my house is cooling off quickly. What more could you ask for? Call these guys.

    Several weeks ago my system wasnt cooling down to the desired temp so I decided to call who was closest.KACS technician, Trung Anh Nguyen, came out the same day and was able to take a look.He was incredibly honest with me about the condition of my unit (verified by friends who are ac techs and of course everyones best friend, Google.) The unit wasnt an optimized unit, which isnt surprising as it was the original one from 2007 when the house was built and the contractors lean to the better deal.However, Mr. Nguyen was very upfront with me and didnt try to push or force any sales, just simply let me know the issue.About 2 weeks after he came out, the unit stopped working all together. After speaking to some friends to get a ballpark on the price for a full replacement, I called KAC and asked for a quote. Mr. Nguyen came out that day and offered me a deal that was way better than I was expecting, for a Trane system no less, and the best part was that they could come out the following day and have it installed.The crew that installed it were strictly business. They didnt stop once they got to work.They made sure to wipe their feet before coming inside and laid down painters tarps to ensure they didnt damage my floor.When the installation team were finished, Mr. Nguyen came out to look at the new system and ensure everything was working as intended, as a bonus, he also installed my new Nest thermostat.Over all very impressed and satisfied.

    This AC company is 10/10!! They go ABOVE AND BEYOND, they are trustworthy, reliable, and very knowledgeable! Our AC went out on the evening of 4th of July. We called KAC Express and in approximately 30 minutes, Trung and Jack arrived at our residence (while the neighborhood was popping fireworks) to address the situation.     I had trouble with airflow upstairs. KAC was the last of the three quotes I got. The first two completely misdiagnosed the problem, and told me I’d have to massively rework my ducts. KAC correctly diagnosed the problem right away, and completed the job for a fair price and on quick timeline. KAC will be my first call from now on.

    I blew a fuse in my AC when I accidentally cut through the wires while cutting the yard. KAC express came out and fixed the issue same day! Jack was the technician sent out and he was very informative about what would need to be done. Jack had the AC up and running in no time for a very reasonable price.     Excellent service. We noticed a couple of hours ago, during dinner, that our second floor air conditioner was not working. I contacted KAC Express after noticing they were open until 10 pm. Honestly, I was only expecting to make an appointment for another day. However, KAC surprised me. They sent a repairman a couple of hours later.The technician, Trung, is a professional.     Update from 2024 at the bottom. Review from 2020: Absolutely incredible. The owner came to my house to evaluate the situation. He gave me a more comprehensive explanation of the problem within 15 minutes than the other four big-name companies that I had give me estimates previously. He then told me the out-the-door price and I was shocked. Significantly lower than all four other companies, despite the materials (AC/furnace/etc) being the exact same models as what I was quoted by the other folks. Good financing options, and they even did the install the next morning. 5pm the owner came to my house to evaluate everything. By 10am the next morning the guys were installing. Not just that, but they did an AMAZING job on the install! The side of my house was bad and the spot where my old AC had been was covered in mud and not perfectly level. They filled it with crushed granite then leveled it and put a 4x4 concrete tile down underneath. In the attic, my furnace was in a really weird spot right against a support column. They took the old AC out, setup a perfect location in the attic, installed the new AC, and even replaced some of my air ducts that apparently had some rough spots. I wasnt charged anything extra for this although I happily would have paid. I have told numerous friends and family about KAC Express already and will continue to do so. Im a customer for life now.EDIT: Its 2024 now. Apparently Google doesnt allow me to create a new review for a business Ive already reviewed, so I am updating this one.Since my original review in 2020, I have needed AC or heating help three times. Once our AC went out late in the afternoon in the middle of summer and KAC Express came to my house at 8am, discovered the problem (my old thermostat had died), replaced it, and then examined my entire system inside, outside, and up in the attic just to make sure everything was OK. Only charged me for the new thermostat and almost nothing labor. Unreal how kind and helpful these people are.Another time my father-in-law had an emergency with his AC going off in Houston. I didnt know who else to call and nobody in Houston was responded to me despite me leaving a dozen messages, so I called KAC Express. Trung volunteered to go all the way to Houston to help my father-in-law. We ended up not needing him to, as a nearby AC place called back just before I decided to call KAC Express, but it blew me away that this man answered my call, for starters, then without hesitating agreed to go all the way inside the loop at night just to help.Today was my most recent need. The last two days it dropped to 45 in the morning, so my wife wants to use the heater. But it wasnt turning on. I emailed KAC Express, assuming I would need to book an appointment sometime next week. Nope. Trung calls me immediately and says they are sending someone to my house. The young man that came was extremely professional, went above and beyond. Even took his shoes off entering my house without being asked lol. So polite. Got it all done in the attic and even advised me on some things I could do for preventative maintenance.This is a special company with incredible people. Ive probably written less than a handful of google reviews in my life, but two of them are for KAC Express. Now if only I knew a good plumber/doctor/lawyer/electrician then my family would be set for life. But at least we know we never have to worry about the AC/Heating stuff.

    Our AC has just not been cooling properly since a recent power outage last. It had struggled to get the house cooler than 80 degrees, which has made for some pretty sleepless nights. We had KAC Express come out and they replaced the air handler and now it is cooling nicely. I filled out their online form on a Tuesday night and the owner called me shortly thereafter to schedule a visit for the next day. The repair guys were prompt and professional and finished the job the same day. The owner called again that evening to make sure we were happy. It was not a cheap repair but their price was lower than their competitors. Highly recommend!

    Trung is extremely knowledgeable and great at his craft. My rent house had an AC problem and he was able to go out same day and had the problem fixed soon thereafter. To keep my tenants cool, he even did some things above and beyond and didnt even charge me to do so.     I had a great experience with KAC Express, having not used them before for HVAC. My A/C went out in the morning. I called KAC and David came out within 2 hr and diagnosed the problem as the compressor motor. The unit was 15 years old and I decided to have the whole system replaced. The next morning 4 technicians from KAC came out and removed the old unit and installed a new 5 ton Trane unit, work completed by noon! Outstanding response, quality and value! I will certainly use their service the next time and highly recommend them!

Mr.Trung found out that my house need to change the unit and arranged toinstalled a new system on the next day. Meanwhile, he landed a portable AC until the system was installed.     KAC is the absolute best company my wife and I have ever come across. They were so quick to come out, extremely professional, explained everything as the process went along, and took care of us like family.     KAC took our call at 9:30 on a Friday night and Trung was at our house by 8am Saturday morning. As feared, our 18-year-old system had given up the ghost. We couldnt get a replacement until Monday, but he brought portable AC units to keep the place liveable for the weekend. The contractor showed up Monday morning as promised and had an entire new system, including furnace, installed and running by lunchtime.     Awesome company I had a emergency! My AC went out in this crazy Texas weather!! Called them and requested an emergency appointment and they were out in less than an hour.     Overall, I am satisfied with KACs service. John explained in detail why my furnace was not operating optimally and for my familys safety it was best to install a new one.     I called KAC about a problem with my upstairs Trane unit which needed a condenser replacement. They came out, evaluated my situation and system including past repairs and replacements. They explained the pros and cons of replacing a component versus replacing the system.     Absolutely love Trung and his techs!! We’ve had multiple bids to replace our 24 year old unit that was on the verge of dying from multiple installers that were astronomical - probably because of the neighborhood we live in. One of my friends recommended KAC express so I called. Best decision ever. Trung was able to give me a super reasonable quote over the phone, then showed up at the house in a couple hours to finalize the quote.     I contacted what I believe to be the five most recognized HVAC companies in the Spring & Woodlands area for a estimate of repair. I have experience in HVAC and knew what had to be done. Two companies came out the same day, and the other three worked from detailed pictures, and information I provided. Three of the companies indicated a flat rate (varied) for my evap coil replacement and its supply plenum. Those same three recommended what I believe to be lower quality universal replacement brand.Mr. Trung of KAC, came out, looked over my system, and while fighting off numerouse calls and texts through our meeting, quickly put together a quote for replacement. The price was tied with the lowest I had received over the phone, and with using name brand products instead of lower quality ones. His quote was relatively simple, and I then asked comparatively to another quote, what specific line items he would perform. He assured me all the detailed line items provided on the other quote would be done with their service, and that seemed to be typical items of this repair. (I would have preferred the items listed out.)I took him for his word and a handshake, and I was not even in the slightest disappointed. Generally, the owner has all the enthusiasm and professionalism you want, and the crew is a different story. That was not the case. His two-man crew showed up next day (a little late) but went right to it, laying tarps, gathering tools, and starting the breakdown. Throughout the whole process, they were careful, secured lines, attention to minor details, and kept their area clean. I felt like I got really good service, at a really good price. I received a follow-up call from Mr. Trung to make sure I was happy, and a few days later the service letter for the warranty. I will definitely use KAC again and I highly recommend them. I received quotes from $3k to $5k.

    Our AC had been fixed a few times and after 30 years of service (original to house) it finally required replacement. We had looked around, gotten several quotes, and they were all virtually within a few hundred dollars of each other. Since the price was within ‘the range’ we asked about service next, my cousin, who also used KAC, had a positive experience — and had zero issues with his AC after it was installed, we decided to go with them. (After talking to several friends who used various companies did not have that experience at all!)They were incredible. Mr. Trung showed up the day before to get payment, and verify what they would be installing, and gave us a rundown of what to expect. They showed up the next day on time, tarps to keep the area clean, they installed the unit, and when they left the place was clean, and you barely knew they had been there. We had the unit installed mid-April along with a new thermostat, and a quick lesson on the thermostat. It’s been perfect since (it’s now early July).Our unit replacement was the full unit, both the AC/Heat. Our AC bill is slightly lower. I’d recommend this company to anyone installing a new AC.     KAC came to our rescue when our furnace blower went out. The owner himself came over right away and spent time in our attic diagnosing the many issues we had. This happened on a Sunday afternoon as he and his wife were on their way to dinner. He arranged for us to have a portable air conditioner unit for our bedroom until our AC could be fixed, which was the very next day. The first time my outside unit needed to be replaced, and Trung also checked out my inside unit. He very honestly told me it was nearing the end of its life, but that he would wait to replace it.That was a year ago, and it finally reached the “needs replacing” point this week. One call to KAC Express (at 7am that was answered promptly by Trung himself) and he was out that afternoon to assess the situation.     We were so pleased with our experience! Our AC went out on a Saturday just an hour before we had to leave town overnight. KAC was the only company who answered the phone right away, and Trung arranged to come by for an inspection within the hour. He was forthright about the challenges of getting parts quickly during the pandemic, especially for a unit as old as ours, but pulled through for us to get the installation completed first thing Monday. Other repair companies in the area took hours to get back to us, and the earliest they could even inspect the house was Monday. (When its 100 degrees out, you cant wait more than a day!) Price was also very competitive-- not much more than buying the unit outright online without labor costs, and on the low end of the typical range for a unit our size. Trung regularly called us to keep us updated throughout the process. The entire KAC crew was friendly and very respectful of our home throughout the full day of intense work. Trung has called to check in with us in the week after, and he even came by to look things over in person and confirm it was all working well.     About a year and a half ago, KAC Express installed two split Trane HVAC units and furnaces at my home - 2 and 3 ton. They did a high quality install and had no issues. The work was all completed within a single work day. The crew was very clean which I really appreciated. They put work mats down all along the path and did not scratch any walls even though my home is three stories high. The price was very reasonable as well especially considering that they were installing Trane equipment which is often more expensive.I have had no issues with the units since installation. Works much better than the previous units. I have also recommended KAC to multiple friends and family. They have all been very appreciative afterwards and had very high praise for KAC. I cant express how pleased we are. We live abroad, but it felt as if we were right in Houston. Extremely responsive to phone calls and emails, sending technicians same day and calling us with updates, at times within an hour or so, and working so professionally and conveniently with our renter.     Very impressed by this company. Professional and prompt. They replaced our inside and outside units and did a good job. Unfortunately, we had some issues with the condensate drainage (there wasnt enough space in the ceiling to allow for enough slope of the pan). I called them to get a second opinion after another HVAC company told me I needed a completely new compressor but didn’t have the right size unit in stock.     KAC Express is our go-to AC/Heat company. They have provided us excellent service for 6-7 years at our two homes. Recently, we moved to a new home; actually it is 14 years old, but new for us. The two builder-grade (14 year old) AC units struggled greatly to cool the house especially in Houston summer months; August 2018 electric bill was almost $800. We had to do something, so we called our most trusted AC/Heat company. Trung came over the weekend. Gave us an extremely fair quote, which we accepted, and not surprisingly, he had a crew there the next day.Abel and his 3-man crew arrived early - as promised. All team members were professional, polite and presentable. They put down floor protection, taped the seams to guard against trip hazards, and as a precaution, took a few pictures off the hallway wall as to not hit them with equipment while going up and down the attic stairs. At the end of the hall was my 81 year old mothers room; She was still asleep. They were respectful of that and quietly went about their work. They moved a lot of equipment in and out of the house - quietly - not to mention quickly.The job was scheduled for two days; replace one unit, keep the second one running then return and replace the second unit. As it turned out, the two AC units were tied together. The crew worked their tails off and replaced both AC units and tied in the heater unit - the same day. Three technicians dismantled both AC units and heating unit while one technician removed, replaced, reconnected and tested the outdoor units. When help was needed outside a second pair of hands arrived. When work was completed outside, they went to the attic. It was truly a team effort. Efficiency at its finest.Unit replacement was in May; not even summer yet. However, it was hot outside and even hotter in the attic. While they ate lunch, I went in the attic to take pictures. Within 10 minutes, I was soaking wet from the heat. they were up there for hours. How they work in hot attics day in and day out is amazing. The same goes for the technician(s) working outdoor in the sun. Whew!I HIGHLY recommend KAC Express! It is difficult to find a true, honest, fair, punctual, professional, polite, respectful, hard working and efficient companies; KAC Express is all of these. They are a small company, but you would not know it. They are growing, and I recommend them every opportunity I get. If you EVER need AC or Heat service, replacement or repairs, call them!     There is no good time for your A/C to die but it helps when you can find a company like KAC express. I called late on a Friday on Easter weekend and they were at my house within an hour.     I found KAC Express by searching on google after using Groupon to find another ac repair service. The service with Groupon wanted to charge me twice what KAC Express, and they took 2 days from when I called to actually come out and look at my problem. KAC Express has a normal service charge that is the same price as the Groupon discount price. I called them up at 4pm on Friday asking for them to come out and give me a 2nd opinion. They said they could be there in 2 hours, not 2 days, like the other ac service. They tested all the electrical connections and reviewed everything. I needed a new compressor, but I went ahead and said Id like to replace the whole unit since the compressor cost about 90% of the cost of replacing a whole unit (and you get a new 5 year warranty). KAC came out the next morning with a new unit and had it installed in about 3 hours; for half the price of the first ac repair service. The owner, plus 2 employees came out to fix my problem and it was solved less than 24 hours after I first called them. They are the ONLY ac service you should be using in the Spring/Woodlands area. I would even check if they will service your AC if you are in another area in Houston. Thanks KAC Express!

    I wrote a good review on other sites for this company and received a message from the technician thanking me for the positive feedback. Honestly, it was much easier to write something nice about good service rather than to flame over a bad experience. Anyways, the blower fan from my HVAC unit died while under warranty. The tech named Trung worked around my busy schedule and came to my house on time even on the weekend. Although the job sounds simple enough, it took the technician 3.5 hours to remove the rusted motor shaft from the fan and replace it with a new motor. I helped with the work but the task itself took more time than I or he had anticipated. I was not charged more than the amount the previously-agreed labor fee and the labor was guaranteed for 30 days. I am pleased with the companys service and would recommend them to my own family.
