    Update:I received a call from John (Manager). After discussing my experience and answering some of his questions, John refunded my entire bill. He assured me that Osvaldo (technician I dealt with) will undergo additional training, or otherwise be spoken with, to ensure that moving forward all pricing of assessments and possible repair(s) will be given to customers up front. I am very grateful that John took the time to listen and genuinely desired to make things right. Putting in the time & effort to ensure customer satisfaction goes a long way and I could not be more pleased with how John handled the issue. Should I need any repairs/assessments in the future I will keep Just Fix It in mind.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This company is nothing but a scam. This was my experience with them:I called and set up an appointment for one of their technicians to come by and do a diagnostic on my AC to tell me why it was not producing cold air. I made it very clear over the phone that I only wanted to know what was wrong with the unit and I would only be paying for the diagnostic which they told me would be $89. I agreed and the technician (Osvaldo) arrived at my house and told me he would do a diagnostic. He came back one hour later and told me a single wire was damaged, likely from an animal that chewed on it. Osvaldo then said the diagnostic fee was $472 and the $89 was merely the trip fee to arrive at my house. If I wanted a new wire it would cost me over $500. With the AC now working I inspected the wire to see what was done. The wire was noticeably still damaged and all Osvaldo did was a temporary patch up job which allowed the AC to produce cold air. I was very aggravated and just wanted him to get off my property so I paid the $561 (472 + 89). The invoice that was subsequently sent to me said that only a diagnostic was done and no repair, which means that if the AC unit stops working nothing is covered under their warranty.Additionally, Osvaldo told me that he used my garden hose to clean the coils of the AC unit. A few days later I went outside to water my plants and noticed that the water valve was steadily leaking, which it never did before. I dont know if Osvaldo turned the valve too tightly and something cracked or if it was something else he did. All I know is the valve never leaked before and Osvaldo was the last person to use it before it started leaking. I called Just Fix It and told them about the leaky valve caused by technician Osvaldo. The phone representative said one of their supervisors would call be back to ask me about the leaky valve. No one ever called. I was forced to hire someone else to make the repair which cost me even more money. I also dont know how long the patch up job Osvaldo did will hold up before the AC unit malfunctions again, at which time I will need to hire someone else to repair it.Furthermore, Osvaldo repeatedly tried every shady sales tactic in the book to try and convince me to replace my entire HVAC system which, according to him, would cost me well over $18,000. He said there was nothing wrong with the HVAC and it was simply an older model. I told him I was not interested and he kept on asking me why I dont want the replacement as I could choose an installment plan. Osvaldo presented himself professionally (smiled and had a friendly demeanor, carried around a tablet outlining prices, wore shoe covers when he entered my home etc..). However this was all a facade to mask the fact that hes a scam artist who works for a scam company. Just Fix It manipulates customers into paying outrageously high prices and refuses to respond to issues after their technician leaves, leaving any warranty completely useless. Avoid them at all costs!
