I have had James from James Lane come out multiple times this year and have been impressed by his service every time. I have had my old water heater replaced, a water main leak repaired and recently had my bathtub replaced by a walk-in shower, with grab bars. As usual, the service tech arrived on time - actually early! Roger did an amazing job of replacing the faucets and shower head in one of our bathrooms, tightened faucets in another. Replacing the faucet in the kitchen was a formidable task, due to the fact that the one being replaced must have been done by a non-plumber. The final results are great. Every time, and I mean EVERY time I call James Lane for either my AC or plumbing issues, they’re very professional, friendly and efficient. Very happy to refer James Lane services to everyone.

A James Lane Installer, named Bradley, Professional and Polite stop by first and tried everything to fix our poor old unit, with no luck, the unit was a goner. Jimmy Legate was the Sales Rep, he kept us comfortable with portable Air Conditioner units until the install, Mario & Cory were the Installers. These 3 gentlemen are very Polite, Courteous, Professional and Punctual. They cleaned up after the huge mess of replacing an entire unit.They took the time to set up my computerized thermostat and explain step by step, answered any question I had. I am very pleased with the service and Professionalism I received from these 4 gentlemen and the James Lane company.

I called this past Sunday around 6pm and to my surprise was able to make an appointment for 9/27, Jesse was very knowledgeable and super friendly, I would recommend this company to anyone looking for quality service and for amazing people skills. Our AC unit ducts are undersized for the master bedroom and got recommended a mini split to help push more air to the master room. Overall very satisfied with their service and customer service.

On 9-16-24, I had a problem with my AC unit. I called James Lane and they had a service technician at my home in a couple of hours. The young man who came was Leeroy. I cant say enough nice things about him! He was very professional and knowledgeable. He understood my issue and had the unit fixed within a couple of hours. He answered all my questions and was very polite and kind the entire time. I would definitely recommend James Lane and Leeroy to anyone.

Had a crack in my drain line that allowed roots to clog line under the bathroom floor. James Lane first tried going under the house from an outside entrance under our patio. It turned out bad because of copper water lines going on top of and over the drain line. James Lane technicians decided that it wasn’t worth the risk of damaging the water lines and suggested we gain access through the concrete in the bathroom floor. It turned out to be a safer and simpler approach and saved us on a costlier repair had the water lines were broken. James Lanes plumbers were very professional and knew exactly what to do in this situation. We’re glad we chose James Lane for this repair and would recommend and use them again in the future.

Turns out it was not only very old, overly loud and drawing too much energy. We had noticed that recently it would cause the kitchen light to dim when it turned on. We went ahead and ordered a new system. We were very happy with the crew that came out to install it, they were very polite and willing to answer questions. Rob came to our house and did a thorough job explaining what needed done, the different units and our best options. He was extremely helpful and professional. We had our AC unit replaced and had an amazing experience. The technicians arrived on time and got straight to work. Our indoor unit is in our hallway, I work from home, so I need to pass by that area multiple times a day. The technician made sure the area stayed clear, but more importantly, he was so patient with my walking back and forth throughout the day. The technicians were very knowledgeable and walked us through items to note about our old unit and adjustments that were made to ensure proper operations. Weve also use James Lane for our bi-annual servicing. This service ensures our system is functioning properly and saves us from any surprises or system failures down the road. We have had Justin out to service our heating unit when it was completely down. He was able to bring it back to life and highly recommended a replacement due to its age and condition. There was no pressure in committing to a replacement and he was very informative on what we could expect. With this winter cold snap the heater finally went completely out and James Lane honored the estimate we were given two months prior. Jeremie and George came out today and replaced the Heater and AC unit. All James Lane staff we have encountered are highly professional and informative. All staff have answered our questions, were respectful to our dwelling and Jeremie and George even moved our old unit to our requested location for storage. Purchased a new HVAC/Furnace system at a pretty fair deal. Buying process was seamless. The installation crew (Jeremiah and Michael) were outstanding. They had some minor hiccups from their storage team giving them the wrong size unit initially but installed everything in the span of 6 hours. It even started to storm and it was pouring and they installed everything without tracking mud or dirt in the house. They did a fantastic job.It has been 4 months since the new unit has been in place and we have seen a dramatic difference in the cooling of our house and electricity bill. Everyone was a complete professional from the receptionist, to the man that gave the bid, to the men that installed the unit. The electricians they contracted to verify the wiring for the new unit showed up on time did their work and left everything as they found it. The installers showed up the day they said they would. They started early and worked hard until the job was done. They cleaned the closet and repainted it after removing the ancient unit. The new unit looked wonderful in the closet and has performed without any issue at all. I would recommend James Lane and their professional workers to anyone. I could not be more impressed or pleased with their work ethic and professional.

We selected what we wanted and Michael came out the next day to patch up the existing old system and keep it limping along. New system came in and they were here first thing the next week to install. That crew had everything physically in place by 1pm. A wiring problem within my home (not the new equipment) took almost 4 hours to troubleshoot and repair. All done before 5pm. I called James Lane originally due to humidity issues and was able to schedule an appointment for the following morning. Shannon came out and explained that the coils were all gooped up and along with some other issues like the age of the system and the mismatch of equipment, and due to those factors a replacement system was highly recommended. Since I rent the house I couldnt make the decision but Shannon said he would have Rob call the landlord and discuss the service call and replacement and service options. Rob did as promised and came out to the house as well to gather more information for the landlord, after which a new system was approved to be purchased and installed.Rob scheduled the appointment for me and Nathan and Mario came today to do the installation. They showed up right on time this morning. My wife and I had to go to work so we left them in the house alone to do their work because we felt we could trust James Lane and their employees. When I came home, they were just wrapping up the cleanup of their tools and they offered to give me a once over of everything which I declined since I was still using the same thermostat and thats all I needed. The landscaping for the new condenser was done very nicely and was a nice surprise. Equally, the wiring and general cleanliness of the work done in the closet with the unit itself was very well done.Excellent job all around.

I am so impressed with James Lane and their employees! It started with Robb Havens! He met me at my house at 5:00 on a Friday evening! He spent over an hour explaining everything to me and seemed truly concerned that I was without air conditioning! I was going to be gone off and on for the next 2 weeks and just decided I would wait until I got home. He called me back and scheduled it immediately so my house would be cool when I got home! He was very professional and so nice! So here I sit in a very nice cool house!The repair men showed up at 8:00 in the morning and I had to leave them there because I had to go to work! They were very professional and very friendly, I didnt even feel uncomfortable leaving them there! They did an excellent job troubleshooting and getting it to fit without any damages to the walls. I was impressed!! Our salesman, Jimmy, also was very personable and professional. I was very happy he stopped in during the installation to make sure everything was running smoothly. I would highly recommend. It is expensive but the quality of the Carrier brand is well worth it. So far since having our ac running it has cost less than $2.00 in 5 days! I am anxious to see our first electric bill. The savings should be substantial.

The Tech was very personable and even stopped to pet the 2 yapping dogs every time he entered through the front door. I was being a bit proactive in replacing my AC unit after having spent a bit of money over the last six years replacing pieces. It was only a matter of time before the compressor died. And it would probably die when it was 109˚F. From the beginning, the sales staff contacted me and we discussed a number of options. They ultimately scheduled an install date convenient for both of us. Because theyre in high demand, dont be in a hurry. But I wasnt. The install was painless. It took two days but they left a temp unit for me the one night I was without AC. Im also very pleased with the financing and the warranty work. Our hot water heater started leaking Saturday evening on 12/14/19. I called James Lane Sunday morning around 9am in order to have a technician come out. When I called, a live person answered the phone. You do not receive that kind of service in this day and time, its usually a phone system telling you to push 1, 2, 3 or 12. When she said the service tech would be out shortly, I asked if she needed my phone number so he could contact me. She said no, that he was loading up his truck and would be there shortly. He arrived within 45 minutes of my call. Upon his arrival, he drained the tank and said that he could go get a new hot water heater to replace it. I told him to wait until Monday. I did not want to mess up the day for himself or his family. I picked out the hot water heater I wanted along with the price. He said that I would receive a call in the morning to schedule a time. On Monday morning, James Lane called and said they would be there between 12:30 and 1:00. Upon their arrival, they had the new heater installed within two hours. Michael was very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. As soon as I told him what was going on with our air conditioning, he immediately knew what the problem was.He went to the back of the house where the AC system was and did some checking. After about couple of minutes, he told me that the contractor had to be replaced. He brought the new contractor in from his van and replaced the old contractor with the new one. I had an excellent experience. Several weeks ago we noticed the air-conditioner was not cooling. We called after 6 PM in the evening and someone came out right away. He fixed what he could for that evening and came back the next day and finished working. After several weeks, we came home and found that it was not working again. Someone came within 15 minutes and discovered that a wire was loose. It seemed possible that it was left that way after the last repair. It was repaired right away and we were not charged for the second visit. In every step along the way we felt that we could trust your repair man and felt that they did all they could to keep from costing any more money then it had to. These repairs were done at the home of my 86-year-old mother in law, it’s great to know there’s someone we can trust to take care of her and her air-conditioning/heating unit

Thank you James Lane for fixing the issue with our shower! We had another company come out and they spent two hours with no resolve and a $180 bill. This week they repaired our Gravity Furnace that I thought was going to be impossible to fix because it’s an oldie, but goodie. It took 2 day’s and a miracle to repair, but I have heat again. Thank you to Jeremie & George for coming out today for the install and Robb for doing my estimate. From the time I received my estimate back, to getting the loan, to install Robb answered all my emails promptly and unexpectedly fast. His communication was clear, he took the time to explain the process and the items I wasnt familiar with. I have a couple of brothers in Austin and Colorado who reviewed the estimate and to go with the best option on my quote.They also said the product I would receive was a top brand and reliable. Sure, I could have or should have received other quotes, but bros word on pricing and value was good enough for me. James Lane has a pretty good reputation in my area and I know some of their customer base and they happy with them. So I didnt look any further. Jeremie & George came through with the install within 2 days of my order and were finished up around 5. My house is not the easiest to work on. I know this to be true because everything I try to update has fought me. I felt bad for them because I already knew something was going to challenge them. I considered doing it myself with one of the brothers but I wasnt gonna put them through that. They used some problem solving skills and solved some issues and logistics that were in the way. I was proud of them. Before they left they took a little extra time to ensure everything was working properly and answered more questions. They did an excellent job and I hardly even noticed they were there. They were professional and courteous and their work was clean. Im pretty confident in my upgraded equipment and their work. There was one item that will require further attention but that was beyond their control, if were being completely honest, but Im assured someone will be back to complete it. But nothing pressing my system is fully functional. Im generally pretty throughout with my research and inspections. They didnt mind me standing over their shoulder every now and then to see what they were doing. I also ask alot of questions and take time to learn some of the basics beforehand so when I ask a question some answers make better sense . I would recommend anybody do the same. A new unit is a big investment. Im also a DYI guy but I may use them in the future because of my experience for maintenance and other miscellaneous. Its nice not to do everything myself even though I want to or should. But I trust the quality of their work.And thanks to Sherry for taking my payment. She was pleasant to deal with and I was able to pay right over the phone. Everything taken care of efficiently.

Estimator Robb Havens out the next morning & provided 3 detailed bids while on-site. Also offered to provide a portable A/C until new unit was up & running.Installation team of Nathan & Jose showed up right on time and got right to work removing the old A/C & furnace. James Lane installed a brand new HVAC system replacing an old complicated water-based system. They tore out the old system, and installed the new one. There were a few hurdles to jump through and James Lane delivered on all of them. The HVaC wouldnt fit through the attic door, so they dissaembled an reassembled the door frame to fit it in. They ran a new Gas line for the heater as well. The existing water heater was old, and when they turned the gas off to run the new line, the water heaters pilot light would not light after turning the gas back on. Thy could have blamed it on the old water heater, but they took responsibility and installed a brand new water heater free of charge. Most companies would have just said, tough luck, go buy a new water heater. I cant recommend them enough, you will have confidence in choosing them for any install/service. Everyone I spoke with was courteous and professional. Special thanks to Robb for speaking with me and keeping me updated, and to Martin for getting the new water heater installed free of charge and quickly. Awesome service.
