The common wire on my furnace snapped and the 3 amp fuse blew same time, same day, and I needed urgent assistance due to it going to be below 40 degrees that night. I was urgently scanning Google to find someone to call because the original place I called it was gonna be the next day before they could get to it. I didnt know james, never used him before, or anything like that, but he came out the same evening and got me all fixed up with a re-wire and a new fuse, and this was close to 6pm, and he drove over 30 miles to do it. I highly recommend.

He was very polite and even wore the little disposable booties when he came inside. The problem happened to be outside and he fixed it in the rain even. Prompt service after calling after 7pm on a Sunday! James came out and fixed our leaky unit. We just purchased our home and have been in it for only a short time. After coming home on a Sunday afternoon to a very warm house on a 90°+ day, we knew we needed someone who could get to us quickly. James was recommended by another couple of customers who experienced the same stellar service that we also received. He found out our unit needed 5lb of freon and a small leak was discovered from a loose connection bolt. He accepted all payment methods and disclosed his costs and fees up front. We purchased a house and after three years of summers and the AC not keeping up we decided it was time to upgrade. We contacted James at Ideal air and he came out confirmed that indeed our unit was undersized and couldn’t efficiently cool the house. He gave us a very fair price for equipment and installation so we let him do the work. A job that I thought would have taken a couple days he got knocked out in about 7 hours. He replaced inside and outside units and added some more ducts and vents throughout the house. I Highly recommend this business.

Home warranty chose Ideal for me AFTER the first company let me down. Needed heat due to colder than usual temperatures. James was here a little before scheduled and diagnosed quickly and explained when he could get the parts. One the thermostat he replaced ,the other control board had to wait. He drove back out to make sure we had heat over the weekend before he could get back Monday with the part. Monday replaced the control board. We had also discussed a separate issue with the condensation water line and a rusted out drain pan due to previous owners lack of maintenance. He fixed and replaced that promptly the same day. Would recommend to anyone in need honest good folks. Pricing was more than fair as well.

Long story short, after 3 visits (over a period of four weeks of waiting for parts and a very cold house), I couldnt even get the company to call me back! Our home warranty company moved our problem over to Ideal Air Conditioning and Heating...BIG difference!! James came by yesterday and found the problem. He picked up the part yesterday afternoon and was back at my house by 8:15 this morning. 30 minutes later and the house is warming up. James is an easy-going professional and a really friendly guy. He also is obviously very good at his craft. Should we ever have HVAC problems again, there is no question about who we will ask for!

I am a renter in a house here in Haughton who just moved here from out of state. James from Ideal Air was called out by the landlord to diagnose our A/C unit that had quit working properly, and from start to finish he did a great job. He was WAY more reasonably priced (roughly a 1/3 cheaper) than another company that came out and gave us an estimate on the repairs needed. I wish he had a website or other avenues to get him more business and exposure because people like him are hard to find these days and I would love to see him rewarded for his honesty, integrity, and professionalism. But advised me and we set appt and all is GRRREAT! The rest is a COOL history!
