    We didn’t notice our AC had quit due to cooler temperatures outside. When it got hot again, we noticed, on a Friday. We called Ideal Air because we belong to their Comfort Club, a service plan that services your AC/Heat twice a year. They told us they could come out that same day at 2pm, you get priority service if you belong to Comfort Club. They were there at 1130am, fixed the AC-a capacitor issue, cleaned up and were gone without a fuss. They had the knowledge and parts on hand. I was very pleased with the technician Paul and the very friendly woman who scheduled the service call. I’ve been through several AC service companies, but am sticking with this one for a while. Try them, you won’t be sorry. The Comfort Club is a good deal.

    Mike Maestas serviced me 10-8-2024 on my Fall Preventative Maintenance Program for my HVAC Furnace. JaPaul assisted him. Mike advised everything checked out okay. Mike oversees with detail all my equipment to make sure its in the best running condition moving forward. JaPaul replaced my Batteries (I am Handicapp/requires ladder) to my Carbon Dioxide and Fire Alarms in my 10 foot ceiling to avoid dead batteries alarming during the year. Very appreciative of this jesture for the elderly and handicap. Been with Mike since 2014 and trust his knowledge and judgement completely. Always kept us (wife & me) comfortable and confident all is well with our equipment using the preventative maintenance program checking our HVAC Equipment every Spring and Fall of each year.     My a/c went on the blink. I saw numerous recommendations on Next Door about Ideal Air so I called them at 9:00 am--they were here by 11:00--diagnosed AND fixed the problem and explained in detail what had been done!     I was very pleased with Ideal Air. They came to look at one of our A/C units that was not working. After inspection, we had to get a new unit put in just as other companies suggested. They were detailed with everything that had to be done and they did not try to upsell. On the day the unit was put in, the supervisor came with the workmen and came back to make sure everything was working good once completed.     I had an issue with the damper motor not working properly. They replaced it initially, but had to come back out because it still wasn’t working. Turns out there were two motors and the second one was failing also. The technician replaced the second motor and made certain everything was working properly before he left. They also comped the second motor and fees due to the multiple visits. I’m pleased that it’s all good now and that they made it right in the end. Thanks Ideal Air!

    The service alone is a huge reason to choose Ideal Air over any of the other local companies. Mike was super knowledgable and took time to explain everything to me in extreme detail.I received quotes from Reliant Heat & Air, Airtron and Bell Mechanical. For a leak in one of my systems, I needed a coil Carrier coil (5-ton). Larry at Ideal asked for $2600, Cameron at TeamEnoch asked for $2580, and Jeff at On Time Experts asked for $11021.

    2-14-2024 Mike and JaPaul thoroughly checked for unusual unidentified knock in attic. Added insulation to water lines that may knock together causing water hammer noise. Identified AC coil leaking oil. Identified clothes dryer vent line not correctly connected to roof outlet. Left instructions for documenting wind blowing, time of day, use of other water appliances, etc. to further aid in identifying cause of knock in attic. No charge as cause of knock is not yet identified.Technician, Depaul, in a very professional and thorough manner checked over our AC unit in preparation for summer weather. He discovered low refrigerant pressures and added refrigerant bringing performance up to expected specifications. He also checked the capacitor and amperage draw. He further checked the incoming and discharge air temperatures of the units inside and outside of the home.January 20, 2023. The technician arrived shortly before the scheduled time and went directly to work inspecting the furnace. He did a thorough inspection and reported the furnace was working properly. He complimented me regarding the cleanliness of the filter I had installed a few months ago that we keep our home clean. Which we do.May 1, 2023 Mark was very thorough checking the AC system to assure satisfactory performance for the upcoming summer seMarch 6, 2024. Mikes team of AC technicians removed the old AC coil and enclosure from the attic. Then, replaced it with a new AC coil and enclosure. Evacuated, recharged, and tested the AC system, cleaned the drip pan and condensed water drain for the agreed price quoted. Were very happy with Ideal Airs response and attention to our heating and air conditioning service needs.June 13, 2024The Ideal Air technician checked the attic equipment and the outdoor equipment.All checks were found to be within normal operating limits.September 20, 2024Ideal Air service technician came by on a scheduled semiannual visit to check the gas furnace burner and blowers for proper performance. He confirmed the CO2 level was within specification. And the forced air temperatures across the heater were also within specification. I have been very loyal to a.n. other up until today, but with the house reaching 1,245,978 degrees as AC was out, our usual company couldnt get out until 4pm, at which point my family would have melted into oblivion, which was honestly a better outcome than the divorce that was being prepared considering the state i left the house as I went to my work air conditioned office. I digress, I saw lots of excellent reviews, tried these guys and hey presto 2 hrs later fixed, melted family and divorce averted.     Just got my routine maintenance for my HVAC system. Guy was nice. The problem was after he left my HVAC wouldn’t cool anymore and my bathroom had exploded with muck from clearing out the drainage pipe. (Put a towel on the sink but the L joint came loose from the pressure) I cleaned the bathroom up and fixed my pipes but I still dont understand why my AC isnt working after they cleaned it up.UPDATE: JaPaul Berger came out after hours, through a hail storm, free of charge and fixed the issue. Turns out the drainage line hadn’t cleared completely because the previous homeowner jerry rigged my p-trap. So the float was tripped. Easy fix and I got to learn something. Thanks y’all.

    Ideal Air has been….. an ideal experience. After getting a referral from a friend, we’ve found them to be very thorough, explaining each issue we’ve had in detail each time they’ve been out to repair or maintain our current system. We cross referenced their other reviews, which are impeccable.In addition to that, we recently took our time and got multiple quotes from different companies to replace our upstairs A/C and Ideal again was incredibly competitive and prompt once we decided to go with them. We had issues with our home warranty not responding fast enough to our AC system not cooling properly, so we took it upon ourselves to find a company to use.We came across Ideal Air as it was 7pm & we needed help immediately, instead of following a holiday weekend. Upon calling Ideal Air, the secretary was super friendly & was able to get her crew out within a couple of hours. Once the crew arrived, they were very professional & knowledgable. They let us know the issue & even had us on speakerphone with the owner, Mike. The crew added what we needed to make it through, little did we know our issue was actually worse than we thought! Mike came out a few days later & addressed the bigger issue. He was very helpful & explained everything to us.     August 22 - update:Sunday evening we noticed that our house was slowly getting warmer. Looked at the thermostat and our AC was set to 72 but inside the house was 78. Got on the phone and called Ideal Air and with in 2 ring, I was speaking to someone. I described the situation and was told Michael will be there between 6pm-8pm. This phone call happened at 4:30pm. At 6:05pm, our door bell rings and its Michael. With in 10 minutes, he had identified the issue, explained the issue and had a fix in place. 30 minutes later, our AC was up and running. I can not say enough about Ideal Air. Hands down THE BEST!I got a recommendation from a neighbor to use Ideal Air for my AC maintenance needs.     Mike and his team has been great handling our system! The heat pump and air handler were just over 5 years old. Within a couple of weeks the capacitor failed and they came out to fix right away. Followed back up 2 days later to verify unit was functioning properly. Turns out the coils were cracked and quickly replaced. Fast forward a month and my air handler was not draining properly. Mike stands behind his work and that of his people. JaPaul might as well of moved in he was out here working hard to get it fixed. Mike is honest and he took care of fixing this and not charging me another penny for replacement and trip charges.     Our AC stopped blowing air on Friday July 3rd and we tried reaching out to our Home insurance and they were unresponsive because of the holiday. We then took matters into our own hands and called Ideal Air. They answered right away and sent two technicians out as soon as they could which ended up being like an hour later at 9pm. The technicians were very professional, explained everything and got us temporarily cooled down. The Owner, Mike, then followed up on Monday and made a visit to the house Monday evening to run a test on the unit.We then had to go back to the drawing board to figure out how we were moving forward with our repair. Our Home insurance then was involved and they didn’t allow us to use Ideal because they had their own AC guys. However, we were very pleased and satisfied with the professionalism of Mike, the office lady and the technicians. We will recommend this company to all our friends and if we ever need an AC guy outside our Insurance plan, this is who we will be calling!!!

    My experience with Ideal Air was absolutely outstanding! Our inside blower motor quit working after a below-freezing night. The first company I called was a “big” local HVAC company, who gave me an estimate that sounded too high, and they also tried to upsell me to a complete system replacement. I wanted to get a “second opinion” from a smaller company, so I called Ideal Air after reading good reviews about them on Nextdoor. Mike came out to my home within an hour, diagnosed the problem, and offered several options for repair. Mike explained the cost differences and the pro’s and con’s of each option so that I was able to make the best educated decision. We decided to go with the OEM motor (more expensive) instead of the (cheaper) generic motor, and even then Ideal Air was still more than $700 less expensive than the “big” company’s estimate. Mike was able to obtain the parts and he and his technician had my system back up and running the same day! I was very impressed with their attention to detail... after installing the new blower motor, they performed a thorough check of every part and operation of the entire system, just to be 100% certain that everything is in tip-top shape. I am thankful to have found Ideal Air - their work ethic and honesty is hard to find these days, and I truly feel that my home’s HVAC system is in good hands!

    Mike and Stephanie are AWESOME! They saved us a few thousand dollars. Were very courteous and prompt. They came back the same day in the evening as the morning of the quoted price. He had his crew come by at 4:30 pm to get the install done. He did this because of our HOT Texas heat and our unit went out in mid June. They all worked late so we didnt have to go a day without A/C. Very thoughtful and kind gesture. Pillar of a man, definitely shows the customer comes first. You cant find anyone to give a better price or better service, from his installers or himself. Trustworthy and I would and will recommend him day after day against any competitor.     Our AC wasnt blowing cool air and our thermostat was stuck on 85! It was miserable in the house. Id heard so many good things about Ideal Air from many neighbors so I decided to give them a call. I s/w super sweet Stephanie who is the nicest person and she sent Mike out and he was at my house very shortly after. Mike spotted the issue as soon as he saw the condenser outside and it was frozen and clogged. Thankfully, Mike got us up and running again and its cooled down so much and feels great!     My AC went down. The Rheem that was only 6 years old had been a lemon since it was put in. I wanted the whole system gone. Mike told me I just needed the outside unit. The unit was put in the very next day and we had our AC up and running within a few hours. He put in what needed to be put in and thats it. He did not push something I did not need. Hes the only service guy I have had in the last 6 months that I did not have to remind to put his shoe covers or mask on. Thank you.
