    This company is the best! Spot on communication, good support staff and fair prices. Efren was our main electrician and both him and his helper did our two electrical panel replacement in one day despite it being rainy and muddy. They did not leave until our project was done so we could restore the power. That is dedication. We got four bids for our project and besides price, I also look for service and knowledge. Our team had it all and made sure that my mom’s house is safe. Thank you. And bonus - they are now our new AC company.

    Chris and Patrick relocated an outlet and light/fan toggles in bathroom, and installed a new light fixture over the sink. They were both friendly, polite and easy to talk to.Chris was the lead and assessed the job to compose several bids including one to replace the light and fan which we decided to do at a later time. He was quick, efficient and knowledgeable. I appreciated knowing my options with price quotes.All along the way, setting up the appointment and during the job, communication was excellent with all parties involved. I will be calling Hunter again the next time I need an electrician. They provided the kind of experience you hope to have when getting any service in your home.

    John A installed 4 whole house surge suppressors for us and I have been very pleased with the results. I waited a few months post-install to write this review to ensure everything was working as expected. It definitely has. Though this install was not inexpensive, he put in a top-of -the-line suppressor expertly, including one to protect my solar panels control. The expense is small relative to the equipment they are protecting. My previous electrician (from a reputable large company that worked with my builder) installed cheap suppressors in the wrong place in my breaker box. I was astounded to learn this as they work for very high-end builders. I highly recommend John/Hunter group for their expertise and professionalism

Mr. Rollins thoroughly explained the issue with my AC and presented a range of options that were both effective and considerate of my financial situation, even offering financing alternatives.     My husband and I are very happy with electrical work done by John Alestas and his team; Chris and Stacy….A 200 amp Siemens, 30 circuit panel with surge protector and generator plug were installed plus ran wire under sidewalk towards shed next to houseWhere outlets, light switch and shed lights were installed..They were very meticulous on how they did their work and I appreciate that as I could barely see where they had dug to run wire to the shed …..I appreciated that they went beyond their call of duty and they deserve a big raise/promotion 👏. John was also very patient with us in explaining process and I would like to thank him for giving us advice on purchase of a portable generator - that was very kind of him… I also told him that I chose him out of three bids because of his honesty … there was another bid that was lower but I prefer to pay a little bit more just knowing that we’re working with honest people… Thank you John, Chris, Stacy for your hard work😊

    Stacy & Rice worked on my project and were great. Very patient and understanding. They kept me updated on problems or any issues. They worked well with NBU and the City inspector.     I recently used Hunter Service Group and couldnt be more satisfied with their service. When I contacted them first thing in the morning, they promptly scheduled me for the same day given the urgency of my situation. Technician John arrived and quickly identified the electrical problem we were having. He prevented a bad situation from becoming much worse by recognizing the root cause very quickly. John took the initiative to contact the energy provider himself as the issue required their response, ensuring they prioritized our issue. He stayed until they arrived and made sure everything was fixed correctly, assisting to ensure it wouldnt happen again. We highly recommend Hunter Service Group and greatly appreciate everything John did to assist us. We will definitely do business with them in the future and hope to get John or another technician like him.

    Professional. Excellent communication from front office to service techs. A 30-45 minute arrival notice was provided via text message and phone call. Service specialist/tech (Epheran), arrived on time, handshake, smile, and an introduction. Shoe covers at the ready and placed on prior to entry. He quickly and professionally went right to work with excellent listening skills and probing questions to uncover willingness to explore options. He came back to me in 20 minutes with three professionally produced and computer generated proposals that he explained in detail and forwarded via email. While the options are pricey and most like more than I’m willing to pay (Hunter is not inexpensive…good service, sound expertise rarely is) they delivered what I needed at no cost for the proposal. This is my third experience with (Colby) Hunter Team and I regard them as an EXEMPLARY SKILLED service company. Each service tech/skilled professional provided the utmost professionalism, expertise, and patience (while listening to my concerns and desires) Two of the three provided instant proposals and explanations. You can tell the Hunters take pride and are careful of who they hire and entrust with their brand. They have my highest recommendation.

    Chris was absolutely amazing! I had him come out to add and move light switches, which he was able to do without cutting into the wall. We discussed outdoor lighting and he suggested wafer lights ( color changing). The result was absolutely beautiful. I could not be more pleased. Chris was always on time, cleaned up after finishing his work and has excellent ideas regarding lighting.He was enthusiastic and worked as if he was working on his own home.

    I called 5 different companies after our AC went out in the middle of the night, Hunter Service Group was the only company who responded. Although, we weren’t able to get seen until the early morning- the service was impeccable. Hunter Service group provided tracking, so I was able to see how far our technician was. They also provided a picture and bio, so I knew who was coming to our home which made me feel safe. Shannon was very friendly, knowledgeable and left no stone unturned.     The service was reliable. They came when they said they would, and called when they were on the way. The technician was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem promptly. The only issue was that the part needed to be replaced was not readily on hand, so the tech had to leave and come back but then completed the job in no time. He was courteous and professional.

    Called yesterday and a tech was out this afternoon. Ronnie Blue was very informative and clear in all his comments. I bought this home with the Generac generator 2 months ago and couldn’t get anyone to tell me how it all was supposed to work. Ronnie came out and performed an analysis of the whole system, noting several issues. He gave me a quote to correct the issues and to perform a needed service on the motor. Ronnie had to stay to 7:30 get it all done. Which he did without complete. Couldn’t ask for a better tech.

    I called around town and had several electric companies come out and look at my outdoor panel. I was having issues with power to my pool panel. No one was able to give me a straight answer as to why this was happening. I finally found Hunter Service Group and had Efren and Chris come out to take a look.     Where do begin with our experience:We had a fortunate circumstance in which we saw our outside panel in our home emitting some smoke. What could’ve been a tragic event turned out to be lengthy to say the least.     Hunter Service Group employs the most knowledgeable, helpful, and kind individuals. Brendan Ellis came out recently with an associate to inspect our heating system in accordance with our Hunter Service Group Home Care Club membership. Brendan reassured us that our system was ready for winter and offered some excellent suggestions on better ways to manage our dual zone system to avoid excessive wear & tear on the system. The information was well received as we hadn’t considered the possibility that our actions were potentially causing harm to the system. Additionally, he provided some quotes for the iFlo Smart Dispensing System which automatically dispenses a bio-enzymatic surfactant cleaning solution directly into the A/C condensate drain pan and line keeping drain lines clear year-round and prevents clogs, backups, shutdowns, leaks, and water damage, ultimately saving me money and headaches, all while keeping A/Cs running at peak performance. Apparently, there’s an app you can use also to set a custom dispensing schedule with patented technology that is specifically tailored to my maintenance needs based on my local temperature and humidity. The app ensures I’m in control of my HVAC maintenance and receive real-time alerts from my iFLO device. I love this idea!We love Hunter Service Group, their employees, and the great value they offer not to mention the peace of mind we have knowing we are covered /protected under their prestigious Home Care Club membership!

    Hunter electricians have been so helpful and wonderful. We have had them come out 3 times and each time is better than then previous. This last service was to install lights in a super dark closet and the finish product is better than I could have ever imagined. Carker has been the one to help with my previous calls and so happy to work with him. He explains everything and gives excellent advice on what is needed and he has been correct. Patrick came the last call and he also was very helpful. They cleaned up everything when they finish as well. I am so happy to use Hunter. We have a few other jobs and they are definitely who we will use.

    John Alestas at Hunter Service Group was a really exceptional electrician and person. I was clearly nervous about what might be wrong with the electrical in my home, and was very vocal about my anxiety of something catching on fire. A lesser human being could have ripped me off for thousands of dollars easily, like stealing candy from a baby, knowing that I would pay whatever they said. But instead John came in, calmly and logically assessed the problem, and charged me for the actual problem and explained it very clearly. It still cost me over $300. But it was after hours on Friday night. And he arrived in like half an hour. John was very neatly presented, polite, and intelligent. I feel confident in his work. He appears to know what he is doing. He didn’t talk down to me either, which I appreciate. So I can recommend this company and John specifically .

    TLDR: Outlet blew and burnt up. Chris and John from Hunter Service Group took care of us really well, didnt try to blow smoke in my eyes and didnt try to scare me paying more than the wife and I were ready for. So trustworthy!An outlet blew all our electrical power and burnt out in our Master bedroom. No breakers flipped on our breaker panel. Hunter Service Group was actually the third or maybe even fourth electrician company i contacted. Other companies were adamantly saying they wouldnt replace the burnt outlet until all our breaker panels would be replaced. Quotes varied widely between $6k-$17k between bigger rival competitors to replace all the outlets, better breakers and all the panels, feeder lines, etc. Spent less than $180 for a new outlet device and all our power is back on in the bedroom. Amazing! Quotes for the breaker panel replacements inside and outside (which we do need eventually) were as much as $1k-$7k less for the same amount of stuff and would also require less downtime for the Hunter Service Group than other bigger competitors. They didnt pressure me into paying for all that work like others did. Other companies mentioned 3 days with no electric power to replace all the panels and breakers. Treated really well and felt like I was told the honest truth and didnt feel like just another sale or another homeowner that could be taken advantage of. Will definitely be calling Hunter Service Group for more electrical work in the future! :)

    I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Hunter Service Group and our electrician John Alestas. We had an emergency on Friday night and Hunter responded to an inquiry we made on yelp within minutes. They sent a professional bio of John and he touched base personally before he arrived. They were upfront about off hours pricing ($249 for the diagnostic) and I found it to be very reasonable. John spent hours at our house trying to figure out what was going on with our sparking breaker box and it was clear that the safety of my home and family was his top priority. He waited while I called CPS to come out and change a faulty wire. He was thorough with his diagnostic process and was exactly right with what he thought was going on. He even gave me his cell number to text him after CPS came to be sure everything was taken care of. He came back the next day to repair everything that had been damaged due to the faulty wire AND checked back on us a few days later. Hunter will be our go-to for anything we need for electrical work in the future.

Each time Hunter Service Group comes out they go above and beyond to ensure I am informed on the services provided, why they need to provide the service, and how much it will cost. Both times John as been out here he has been extremely knowledgeable on what he is doing as well as being extremely customer oriented. We will always use Hunter Service Group for our needs around the house because of how great they treat us and our house!

    Chris and Patrick were very friendly and reliable . They were professional and didnt try to upsell. I needed to have some electrical checked due to some water damage in my ceiling.     Wow, Im a fan! Stacy Woodard was early to the job, is professional on the job, kept me aware of what was going on, cleaned up not only his work but other extraneous wires that had been left behind with other projects that had been done around the main circuit breaker panels. I appreciate how dedicated he remained to a major job, despite the terrible heat were experiencing. At the end, he explained everything clearly, and cleaned up before he left.     Based on other reviews, I chose Hunter Electrical Service to install my manual transfer switch and home surge protector. I wanted this installed after being without power in February 2021 for 3.5 days. The service was excellent. They came out and gave me a free estimate on all the work I wanted done.     Called Hunter Electric Friday afternoon. Techs were on their way home for the day & weekend. The office reached out to John A. and he agreed to stop by to look at a number of issues. He analyzed all the issues & systematically ran through each fixing them. He was professional and very courteous. So knowledgeable that he inspired confidence. There were wires fixed that had been arcing. A failed GFCI. A failed outdoor plug. A wrong breaker in the main box… And a bad three way switch in the Master Bathroom.     Our heater died RIGHT at the start of below-freezing temps this winter. I frantically searched for HVAC companies online and Hunter Service Group was the ONLY one who was able to come to my house that very same night. They were able to get our backup heat working for a nominal fee, thank God!     Finally had my service done today. Being a holiday weekend I was hoping my 2-4 scheduled time slot would happen earlier. Sure enough John called at 1220pm to say he had finished earlier on other jobs and was ready to come. It was great, he expedited the job in about one hour, fifteen minutes.     Hired them to run Ethernet cable throughout the house to include outside for security cameras. The ones ran outside were not put into faceplates, the cable was left hanging, and the holes that were drilled for the cable was not sealed. There is one cable that was ran and terminated on one end, but was not terminated on the other end. But all the cable that was ran inside the house was ran really well and are all working.     I had called Hunter Electrical Service because of the Google Reviews. I was not disappointed. I needed some help because our garage lights were not coming on. Colby came over and fixed our issue right away. The house that we purchased was remodeled by the previous owners, when they remodeled they also did some really bad work on the electrical lines throughout the house. He made us aware of the hazards in the work that was done and very possibly prevented our house from catching fire.     I appreciated the confirmation texts, pre-arrival calls, and texts with information on the person who is coming to your house (like legit a mini bio and a tracker). I had some crazy electrical issues that turned out to ultimately require action from CPS Energy to replace one of the big scary wires going to my house, but John Alestas quickly identified the issue, provided guidance on what to do, and assisted me to do so. He also answered a bunch of my questions and later coordinated follow on action to resolve the second order effect the power line issue had on my AC. Then when Michael Dye came out to fix my AC, he was super awesome. Quickly identified the burned out part, explained what he was doing and how he was fixing it (because I was super curious and asked about all the things), and now Im no longer roasting alive in my home!! He also went on a side quest with me checking on a few other HVAC related concerns I mentioned (since he was already there). Quite a pleasant fella. As was John. Im sure Ill cry at the cost later and question why any of us lunatics live in Texas where the ambient temperature is set to broil during the summer, but either way, Im real glad Hunter Group got my electricity and HVAC sorted out.

    We hired Hunter Electric several months ago to do some electrical work to include outdoor lighting with receptacles, installing new smoke detecters throughout the house, lighting and outlets in our new shed and finally LED lighting in our garage which made a big difference in the brightness.     I cannot say enough great things about Colby, David, and Demetrio at Hunter Electrical. They are extremely professional, kind and caring.
