    I contacted Greg’s Heating and Air for installation of a new thermostat and to get the A/C unit tuned up, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the service. Great communication from start to finish. Isaac was extremely professional throughout the entire process. After the tune-up, Isaac provided some excellent recommendations to improve the efficiency and longevity of my unit. There was no pressure to purchase anything, which I really appreciated. Since the service, my A/C has been running smoothly. Will definitely use them again in the future!

    Our AC drain line was clogged and causing damaging leaks. Gregs guys made a valiant effort to clear it, but with no luck. Our options were to add a condensation pump or replace the line altogether, which meant going into the wall.We really didnt want to have the wall torn out but also wanted the problem fixed right. Greg personally assured us the crew he had for this kind of work was experienced and top notch. He was not wrong.The guys who showed up got straight to work, first preparing the work area for easy cleanup. They knew exactly where to cut to minimize the damage and make it easier to repair. And they reconfigured the drain line near our unit, adding an additional safety switch among other smart changes.Well be calling Greg again for our future heat and AC needs.

    Just had Isaac come out to take a look at the system because it stopped running. He came out on the same day as the call and did an evening service. No nonsense repair for the blown capacitor. Rather than pushing extra sales he pointed out what to look for to ensure the motor is running properly, while warning about the age of the system (15 years now) and possible repair costs in the future that might make too costly and replacement more viable.Overall very happy with the service.

    These guys were excellent, fairly priced, and I highly recommend hiring them. I called because my AC was not working as well it used to after coming back from vacation. Greg took a look at my unit and did a full inspection of the duct work in the attic. After adding some Freon and cleaning the coils, my unit was as good as new.

    Gregs Heating and Air did a great job. I had Radiant come out to see what my problem was and long story short, they quoted approximately $8,000 and didnt do any work to try to fix my air condition but charged $178 to come to the house. I wanted to get a second opinion and I called Grega Heating and Air, they came out quickly fix the problem, checked the system, cleaned the system and charged me approximately $450 and the air condition was cooling and working when he left. An electrical problem was identified and Gregs Heating recommended a company for the job. I am very happy and will call them again if needed.

    Gregs crew did a fantastic job of re-insulating the attic to our 70 year old house. They cleaned out the old insulation and debris before blowing in the new insulation (R49). Gregs is very reasonable on pricing. I highly recommend Gregs for re-insulating your attic.

    Called these folks as a second opinion based on a service call from one of the bigger HVAC companies in Austin. The bigger company stated that I needed to replace one of my units.I called Gregs for a second opinion. I did not tell them about the first visit, I wanted them to check out the unit with a fresh mind.The tech did his thing and stated the unit was fine and should last throughout summer. The other guy said it would fail and needed replacement. I know that a failure can happen anytime, and something could fail but what I dont appreciate is being led to believe failure is imminent and something needs replacement when it actually does not.Thank you Gregs for an honest appraisal of the unit, I will be calling again.Aug 14th , well I called Gregs again! One of my two units had a clog in the drain that caused water to overflow the plenum and spill to the second floor from the attic. Called Gregs and Issac came out. Looked at the unit diagnosed that it was operating fine just the drain was clogged, blew some air into the drain, cleared the clog. AC is working fine now, no leaks.Had to mitigate the water damage, but thats not Gregs issue. Im still gonna call when I have problems.

    I called Greg for quotes on a new ac and heat system. Gregs team was professional and friendly. They were responsive and performed their initial evaluation of the home within a day of my call. They provided several options for a new system with several price ranges and brands. When they came to replace the unit, the job was done as anticipated and they left the area clean. They sent out a staff member for a final check and explained how to use the new thermostat and answer any questions. I believe I received a competitively priced unit that was installed quickly by kind staff. I would recommend this company.

    Greg and his team just finished replacing all of our duct work in our upstairs attic. They came recommended by a neighbor. My husbands comment when they left: “for the first time, I feel like we received premium service from a home services company” and we have had numerous companies out to work on different aspects of our home.     Despite some minor damage done to walls, which Greg has told me they will repair, I am overall very satisfied with Greg and his team. They were able to come out same day, which is a rarity these days and when it was determined that I needed a system replacement they were able to come out within a day to get the work done. When there was an issue with the install, Greg personally came out to help solve the problem and get us back up and running asap in this brutal heat for a price that was about as reasonable as you will find. I have family in the AC biz back east and they confirmed that the price Greg was charging was extremely fair.My only frustration is with the minor damage to the walls and the crew leaving a bit of a mess behind when leaving (some trash in the yard, trash cans left in the middle of the yard multiple times where they were pulled away from the house to access the AC unit.). But given everything else and assuming the damage is fixed as promised, the full 5 stars are warranted. Thanks for the quick turnaround Greg and team.

    My AC wasnt quite keeping up with the temps outside. I reached out to Gregs heating and air on yelp and had a response within 15 minutes. He had someone at my house 3 hrs later. The AC had a leak and needed a new part. Greg and his team were able to get the part and replace it within 3 days! Everyone was very friendly, professional, and quick with service. Highly recommend!     Gregs team installed new extended supply trunk, return air plenum, and 4-inch air filter and reworked the entire duct system to center and balance it and even out air flow and temperatures to all rooms.Greg was very responsive when first contacted.     I scheduled my A/C yearly maintenance a week ago, and Isaac texted before he arrived on the scheduled day. He was profession and articulate about the process and explained everything well. One of my questions was does my unit have a C wire, as I wanted to get a smart programable thermostat without sacrificing control on the on/ off ability of the fan. Not only did he answer that it did, but that he had a smart thermostat which matched my needs and installed it right then too! And he showed me how to program it. I really appreciate it when the professional is actually a profession and clearly very knowledgable. Recommended.

    Jonathan came out to diagnose my AC within an our of contacting the company, and it was Memorial Day weekend. He was very polite, and professional. As a woman home alone, I felt completely comfortable with Jonathan. He diagnosed and was able to install a new part in little time.     We were referred to Greg by a neighbor when our AC stopped working. Greg and Joseph replaced our coil and then just recently the motor on the condenser. We couldnt be more happy with the level of care and professionalism. They are also fair and hard working. When we had a second issue Greg came to the house the same day and diagnosed the problem. Then he headed off to see if he could the part before everything closed. Joseph returned with the part and worked until after 9pm so we didnt have another sweaty night without AC.     Greg is very easy to get a hold of and is very knowledgeable about his trade. Most importantly, Greg is honest about what needs to be down. Last year, Greg got my AC working for a reasonable fee when a previous company tried to get me to buy a whole new system after telling me me my AC system couldnt be repaired. Same thing for a recent service on a rental property.

I initially called Greg to replace a part, he was super upfront and let me know that he personally wouldn’t be able to get that part quickly but offered me insight and info that I desperately needed.     Greg was very knowledgeable and went to great lengths to trouble-shoot the problem with my AC. I got another consultation from another company, and they said that I needed a new compressor ($2200!!!). Greg diagnosed the problem (there were actually TWO issues happening with the unit). He correctly identified the fixes needed, which were a fraction of the cost, and I avoided a very unnecessary and costly replacement as a result. We kept our existing unit, and it runs like a dream. Greg also followed up with us afterwards, which I greatly appreciated.

Kind, personable, responsive, knowledgeable, flexible, fair priced, going the extra step, and cute to boot. Just to name a few! The fact that he works on weekends helped me tremendously, but after meeting and working with Greg, I will do whatever I can to accommodate his schedule - he is worth it!     Greg and his team did an awesome job installing a new HVAC system and thermostat for us this summer. I really appreciate how responsive and professional he and his team were. It was very quick turnaround on getting a new Carrier system and having it installed, and the difference between the old unit and the new one is night and day. You can tell Greg prioritizes safety and quality, as does his team, and that was most important to my wife and I. Buying a new HVAC isnt something anyone looks forward to, but we were happy with the whole process and would highly recommend them.

    Greg and his team deserve five stars at a minimum. They operate with integrity, empathy, and communicate well with their clients.I was left in a lurch by Strand Brothers complete lack of service: they did not show up for an appointment. I had an email confirmation. When I called the same person that I had made the appointment with she denied ever having made it. I had the time stamp on my phone and an email and was told no, that it was not the case. I even knew the model and price of the replacement part - which I never would have know had they not told me. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one would call me. That was 96 hours ago.I reached out to Greg via Yelp. He responded quickly and managed to fit me in the next day. He was open and honest about what he could do. It would take a few days to get the part but it could be done. He also offered some temporary solutions. All along he texted or called with status updates.The tech from Gregs has just installed the part. He arrived on time and went directly to work. Everything works perfectly now. I have the part, plus freon and and the service call for the cost of the part alone from Strand Brothers. There is really no comparison. If you have any heating or AC needs, this is the place to go. Full recommendation!

    My central air fan wouldnt stop blowing so I contacted Gregs. They responded quickly and arrived promptly. They were completely professional. Even though the repair turned out to be quite complex and eventually required replacing the motor, I appreciated that there was no trying to convince me that I needed to replace the unit entirely as a previous AC repair service (that also sees ACs apparently) tried to do. Highly recommend.

    I have used Greg twice, and each experience has been excellent. Hes friendly, responsive and, most importantly, honest. I first worked with him when he was the 4th professional to look at my central a/c unit. Unlike the others, who either couldnt diagnose the problem or attempted a repair that then failed right away, Greg identified the problem and fixed it quickly and permanently, saving me a ton of money. The next time I had to reach out was in the midst of the crazy winter storm. The heating component at the house began to fail.     Greg did a great job on a unique heating and air system not to mention it is beneath the house in highly cramped quarters which did not rattle his cage at all as he jumped right in to find the problem.
