    Green Scene has inspected 2 homes for us we were interested in buying that our agent recommended and they did not disappoint. I see why he refers them. We loved the thorough inspections as well as the video presentation. They honestly saved us tens of thousands of dollars in repairs we would have been stuck with on the first home we had inspected.     I have had seen many property inspections in my real estate career. No one was as thorough as Alex. He when right to work and was totally focused on understanding the condition of the property he was reviewing. His attention into detail is to be applauded. To top it off, I have never seen an inspector record a video to recap all the major findings so that the customer can review it for a better understanding now and in the future. That is an excellent bonus. I highly recommend Alex and Green Scene Home Inspections for your property inspection needs.

    I have used green scene a total of three times for an inspection. Two houses fell through because of too many issues found on the inspection report and the sellers weren’t willing to budge…but because of Green Scene we were informed of said issues and I highly recommend them! The video that they do with their home inspection is super informative and helps break down everything. Especially for first time home buyers, like my husband and I, this will be extremely helpful and they’ll catch things you probably wouldn’t even think to look for and explain how things should be. We had the pleasure of Sean doing our most recent inspection and our first one and Luis did our second inspection. I cannot thank them enough for what they do and being super informative and professional.

    I am a first time home buyer (which always sounds fun, but in reality it is incredibly stressful). The easiest part about buying a house has been my experience with Green Scene. I told Sean Lewis before I started, I want you to give me every reason to not buy this house and he delivered!! His attention to detail, his calm demeanor, his experience, all amazing. When I went under contract with a house in Richardson Texas and he came out to inspect, he was so thorough that we ended up terminating the contract (such a blessing). I just went under contract again and because of how amazing of an experience we had with Sean, I requested him again. After our inspection (everything went SO well), Clayton the owner called me up to talk through the entire inspection report and offered to lend a hand with anything I needed. Couldnt be more grateful. Will be a live long customer.

    Wow! Totally above and beyond any inspection I’ve ever had before. They were right on time, did an incredibly thorough inspection, and instead of just sending a report filmed a screen recorded video of them talking through all the photos they took which allowed me to ask questions, hear their answers, and I didn’t need to take notes because I had it all recorded for me. The team was so kind and knowledgeable. They also did a sewer camera scope which I had never had done before and it found a damaged sewage pipe so thanks to them, I will be doing that at every inspection going forward. 10/10 recommend Green Scene!     We are so thankful for Green Scene! We had negotiated a 3 day option period with the seller and did not have a second to waste.I scheduled an inspection on Green Scenes website early Sunday and was able to book an appointment for Monday morning. After an hour or so, they sent me an email to iron out the details and arrange for payment. They also followed up with a phone call to ask if I had any questions. I was extremely nervous about being on such a short time table, but was relieved at how quickly we were able to get everything scheduled and paid for.Alex F. went out to the property and did a wonderful job. He notified us when he was approaching the end of the inspection so we could come out and discuss his findings. Alex was friendly and exceptionally helpful. We walked through the house, and he did a great job of talking to me about the issues he discovered, separating the high priority items from the minor problems. I was very concerned about a problem with the roof, but he assured me it was a simple fix, which I had confirmed with a contractor and taken care of after we closed on the house.In addition to the in person walk through, he provided us with an electronic copy of the inspection later that evening, along with a video recording of everything he did!We had the basic inspection, plus WDI, foundation level, and infrared inspections.Thanks again Alex and Green Scene! I will gladly recommend you to anyone who needs quality inspection, especially in a pinch!

    Wow, thats the first thing I want to say but no matter what words I come up with here it still wont quite illustrate my extremely high level of gratitude to Marshall McKee and whomever trained this man. I went under contract to purchase a townhouse and my realtor sent Mr McKee to perform the whole home inspection. Im truly blown away. His level of awareness is superior to several other home inspectors Ive worked with and I have worked in home services most of my life starting as a teenager. Marshall found so many things to point out to me that I missed on my initial walk through and he helped me save tens of thousands of american dollars which I work really hard for and dont have an endless surplus of.     Alex conducted my home inspection. We had him do general, wood destroying insect, thermal imaging, and pool inspections. He did an absolutely phenomenal job, was extremely professional, and went over every detail of the property. He conducted the inspection from 9am to 1:45pm and was extremely thorough.Afterward, he sent me a detailed written report with annotated pictures as well as a 30 minute video with pictures and his voiceover explaining what was found in the inspection. It was very helpful and it was nice to hear him explain things rather than reading them in a report.All in all, Alex surpassed my expectations in every way. If this is the level of quality of all Green Scene inspectors, I would highly recommend them. Easily 5 stars.

    Fantastic service. Extremely thorough.We had Marcus, from Green Scene Home Inspections inspect our new construction home today, prior to our closing tomorrow. Marcus came highly recommended by a personal friend who is a realtor. Marcus was punctual, courteous, and very thorough. He even had our report completed within an hour of completing the home inspection (normally this takes 24 hours at least). The report also included a very detailed video demonstration of all of his findings. He found several issues that needed to be rectified by the builder prior to closing on the house, that we otherwise were not aware of. Absolutely satisfied and pleased with this company and their staff.From the very beginning, they were patient with my questions over the phone and gave me quick quotes with fair pricing for a builder warranty inspection via email. Called back to confirm and schedule the inspection and was able to sign the inspection agreement quickly online - super simple. Received a follow up from the owner to confirm my expectations for the quoted services, and even suggested to remove some upgraded services that would just waste my money. Totally felt like I was not being ripped off, so that was definitely appreciated.The two inspectors, Jan & Jenny, arrived promptly on time and were professional throughout the entire process. They split up their work between checking the interior and exterior of the house and were quite thorough. Even though our house is new and we had been living in it for a while, they pointed out many things to watch out for. At the very end, they walked us through the video slideshow, which is one huge reason to go with this company - I know I’ll be referencing this later.     1st of all, I recommend their home inspection after 1 month on our purchasing property, 1 story Ranch with no basement.The inspector Derek Burris, dispatched by Green Scene, is a well trained and friendly professional. By the experience with their service, you can tell their company has a pretty clear and thoroughly practiced and executed rules and training they are following. He stepped on the roof, got into the attics, went to most of the details I can imagine and researched online. All of those details were written into the final report(they gave the recommendation of the resolution also, of course, some of the resolutions might not be the best way for but you know whats the potential issues).The inspector was patient and answered every question I asked and was confused with.In summary, as service of inspection, they did a 10/10 work for us. Their service is not expensive with reasonable price and payment type. If you feel foundation inspection is needed, you should hire foundation inspection from 3rd party. Same recommendation if you need plumb testing on old house which has camera going into the plumb.By the way, their operator is also very nice people. Also they referred 3rd party on service of Free Utility Connection, which are also some good people. If you dont need, just tell them while service.

    I hired green scene to inspect a newly built home and didn’t expect to find much outside of a few electrical wiring issues that I thought were off but The inspector did much more. He looked at everything from appliance connections to waterproofing explaining how things are supposed to work and how the items in my home are currently working.     Green Scene was great, we had to reschedule twice on them because of our builder and then on the actual day of inspection Green Scenes schedule was incorrect but the Owner called and rerouted an Inspector over to our home right away! Derek the actual Inspector was great! Very thorough & he explained everything to me and gave me pointers on things within the house that I never would have known about. He also pointed out cosmetic mistakes from the builder that I wouldn’t have seen but will now be able to get fixed before close. Having not only the inspection report but also a video was extremely helpful, our builder was very impressed that he had the video to go off of, & we got everything on time as promised. Even with the schedule mix up I would still recommend them they were great at getting it all handled and taken care of. We will be using them for our “11 month inspection” before our warranty expires!

    Very Thorough!I believe in word of mouth and was happy to write a review for Green Scene.The inspection was very thorough. The inspector arrived 5 minutes early and began on time as scheduled. The inspector conducted a review of HVAC, electrical, general plumbing, ventilation, structural, gas lines, and extensive cosmetic defects and code compliance through out both the interior and exterior of the property. The inspection also included checks for termites and thermal imaging to provide me a an overall sense of how well the structure was insulated.At the end of the inspection I was provided both a video with overall results and highlights as well as an in-depth written report to help me understand the results.I feel they did a great job in providing me the information I need to make an informed decision in my home purchase. Hopefully I don’t need their services again but if I do they’re going to be the team I call.

    Im very impressed with Green Scene Inspections - Brian was able to come out on short notice which was appreciated ... because of the C-19 restrictions, I could not be present at the inspection - however once I received the through and detailed video walk-through, I think I prefer how this all worked out. Having looked over several inspections recently that were provided by other companies - Brians inspection was on a completely different level.     This was our second home buying experience, and I only wish Green Scene had been able to do our first! I cant believe how thorough the inspection was - he even tested the microwave! The walk through video was extremely helpful. We were easily able to take note of areas that needed immediate attention. He was honest about things he wasnt sure of, like the roof which he suggested be inspected by roofers. If youre buying a home, this is absolutely the company to get for your inspection.     Marcus was a FANTASTIC inspector! I cannot possibly say enough great things about him. The cost of he inspection a little bit more than another company we were considering, but we decided to go with Green Scene after seeing the reviews.... The choice of Green Scene was worth every penny!Marcus sat with us after the inspection and walked through every picture he had taken. He explained in detail exactly what he saw, what he recommended, and if it thought it was a significant concern or not. Best of all, he recorded that entire session, so we can see the pictures with his voice explaining each one! We found that the common complaint with other inspection services is vague reports that offer little or no solid information for use afterwards. We now not only have the great report that Marcus wrote, but also a play-by-play of all the major inspection points. Best of all, Marcus expert opinion saved us from signing a contract for a house that had a pretty facade, but several significnat issues that we completely missed in our previous evaluations.I will absolutely be using Green Scene again and highly encourage everyone to utilize them for your next home inspection!

    I had Tim as my home inspector and he was great! They have the job listed as 3+ hrs but by the time I got there he was wrapping up and it was right about on the 3hr mark. The video/slideshow presentation is a great way to be guided through any issues the house had and Tim did a great job at giving his professional feedback on things that needed to be repaired or replaced. Also, for finding them on Yelp I got half off the infrared imaging which showed any heat spots in the house. I would use these guys again and recommend them to others in a heartbeat.

    I rarely write reviews but this one is well deserved and I want to tell people about this awesome company. We have recently been looking for investment properties and we needed an inspector. I did some digging online, found this company and decided to give them a shot. They sent Derek Burris and he was amazing ya’ll! You can tell he loves what he does and is excellent at it. We almost bought this place that was a complete disaster! The sellers lied on the sellers disclosure about some major issues with the foundation, roof and overall structure but Derek found all the issues and let us decide what we wanted to do. Needless to say, we canceled the contract, found another place and called Derek to inspect it. Again, he knocked the inspection out of the park for us. We are going to be closing on the place soon. We did the standard inspection and added thermal imaging. There were lots of things called out that I definitely did not notice on my own initial look. Talking to him, I learned what I would need to do to correct each issue he encountered as well as suggestions for how to mitigate problems in the future that might crop up. He provided a very detailed 25 minute walk through video and 33 page report of his findings. He spent over 3 and a half hours inspecting the home. I would highly recommend him and Green Scene Home Inspections.

    I highly recommend Green Space Home Inspections. John Masse did a great job in going over our Inspection Report with us to make us feel good about our decisions. I really appreciate in how he noted all issues with the house we bought but was also fair in his assessment. Ive dealt with Inspectors in the past who would get overly dramatic about the tiniest issues. John focused on the more serious issues while noting the smaller issues for me and my realtor to make an educated decision on. Thank you John for all of your help!
