    I been a customer with George Cunningham for quite some time, I like their service and reliability. Today I had my routine maintenance done on my AC units and the technician Bryson was very professional and explained and answered all my questions. He did a good job servicing my AC units.     Everyone here has always been extremely professional and helpful. From the first call to the ladies at the office to the technicians, everyone has always been very polite and thoughtful. If you need to purchase a new unit, Nathan comes out to inspect the old unit and calculate what size unit you need and offers suggestions/recommendations. JM is in a class by himself. He has always been available for me, whether by phone or text to answer my questions and concerns. They are extremely honest people and I appreciate that. You can find cheaper service elsewhere but you will not get the customer service, up to date knowledge and professionalism that George Cunningham Company provides. They have done right by me for over 12 years. I would not go anywhere else!

    The repair guys very quickly diagnosed the problem with my ac, explained the issue to me and then fixed it in a flash by vacuuming out the clogged condensate drain line. All done in less than an hour. Highly recommend this company.

    We were out of the country when one of our AC units quit working. George Cunningham responded quickly and came same day to assess the issue and provide us with our options. Ultimately we needed to replace our units. They provided us with 3 different options and were able to complete all the work in our specified timeline.     With being new to Texas and Harlingen, it was advised that we install a whole home generator. We were unfamiliar with the process and it was recomended that we give George Cunningham Co a call. Nathan Salazar, our consultant, came out and provided a detailed estimates and guided us through the entire process. Nathan and George handled everything for us, including having a gas line run from the street to our home, taking care of the permits and having it signed off by the city. This was really a stress free process as we did not need to do anything but open an account with Texas Gas. They even installed a propane tank while we waited for Texas Gas to run the line. Nathan’s team which included George and Joshua were very professionals and extremely knowledgeable. We are so appreciative for everything and the fantastic service we received.Thank you Nathan, George and Joshua for a great job!! Also, thank you Nathan for making this project so easy and stress free. I know we will have a long business relationship.

    Great company and exceptional customer service!!Getting a whole home generator was an unfamiliar process. Nathan Salazar, our consultant, provided detailed estimates and guided us through what the process would entail. The turn-key process went very smoothly as Nathan was on top of all scheduling and coordination with the power company, electrician, plumber for propane installation and obtaining of required city permits. We had only a short power shutoff as the generator was installed, and from that point on, we had power. Nathan’s team of professionals were extremely competent and helpful.     Outstanding, professional, knowledgeable, on-time and great service! I could just leave it here, but I wont. The initial call was with Manni, a very nice and helpful lady. Robert came out and took care of the problem we were having with our vintage A/C Unit, the ducts and that ugly 1980s mercury thermostat. Nathan came out (extremely pleasant) and we discussed several options. Now, thanks to Juan, Ralph, Pedro and Dominic we have a brand-new system in our home. A/C Unit, ducts and a fancy blue-tooth programmable thermostat. Give them a call, we sure are glad we did.

    I am not one to leave reviews but in this case I must. George Cunningham Co. has some great people working for them,. Beginning with their Tech Nathan, this young man came out to our home and helped us tremendously. Nathan, was very professional and understanding to our needs. A week or so later a team came out and installed our unit and I have to say these young men were very professional about everything and explain every single thing they were doing. Then after all that, the company comes over to make a walk through to make sure everything was done as was suppose to be done and to make sure equipment was working well. George Cunningham has a great team. I recommend you give them a call if you need help with your AC.Thank you George Cunningham Co.

    I have called on George Cunningham several times for my A/C repairs. Each time they have very professional and efficient. The are transparent and honest. They have always arrived and repaired the same day I called about an issue. I will continue to ask for their services when I need. They have also started a maintenance plan program that seems to be fair prices and beneficial to keep you comfortable and worry free in the south Texas heat.Update5 ⭐ and they need 10⭐. Its been 1 year since they replaced both of my HVAC units. They did a great job with the installation and a better job with getting the right equipment installed for our home. Our electric bill has decreased $150+, our home is much more comfortable at all times now. I really appreciate all they did and continue to do. They have also been terrific at calling and scheduling maintenance appointments. We are extremely happy with George Cunningham Company.

    Completely frustrated and fed up with another A/C repair company, we found George Cunningham on-line. Seeing the good reviews we contacted them for a quote. They made it out the same day, (Nathan Salazar worked around my scheduling conflicts and got out to the house as quickly as possible). They set up service for the next week. They made sure to communicate with us through the entire process.Raphael and his crew endured extreme temperatures and worked hard to get our system working right.     We have been customers since 2001, and we have been extremely happy with the service they provide. We have a maintenance agreement on our central heating and air conditioning unit, so I never worry about it at all. If something does go wrong, I just call and a technician comes right away! Great company, courteous office staff, and knowledgeable technicians — superb combination! I recently replaced the ductwork for my central air unit and all of the room registers. They did it all in one day and even came back a few days later to make sure everything was working correctly.

    We have used George Cunningham several times now and can’t say enough good things about this company. Their technicians are wonderful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and THEY ACTUALLY SHOW UP! We had a tech work on our AC for almost 12 hours straight today. Most companies would have called it quits at 5 and hopefully would have come back the next day. Will never use any other company. Highly recommend!!

    I cant even begin to describe the level of professionalism and great service we received from everyone at Cunningham. Its so true that you get what you pay for. After trying a private contractor, then a large named competitor, who ghosted us after coming to look, then not even giving a quote, we decided on Cunningham and honestly, we shouldve just went with them from the start. What started out as a small hole in our ceiling ended up being a result of torn ac ducts that over time deteriorated or were chewed up during a rat issue we had (taken care of). They were great at providing and explaining all options as well as offering no interest financing. We got all ductwork replaced and their technicians were amazing from the start, explaining everything along the way, being super friendly and gracious and doing the work quickly, not to mention cleaning up everything! The kicker though, is always the extra mile and they went several. First, by fixing the ducts in a temp fashion the first night. This would allow air flow into the bedrooms we were sleeping in during the night (temps in the low 100s during the day) and made sure we were able to sleep well. Second, and really what blew us away...there were about 2 inch gaps around the plenum that we were told could be taken care of with spray foam insulation, which my husband was more than happy to do. Next day, a technician arrives at the house and says hes taking care of the insulation and covering up those gaps for us. What?! I quickly called my husband who was headed to Home Depot to get the needed supplies and told him to come back home. That is service and follow up beyond expectations! When other companies may have been okay to cut that corner and let us do the work and make the expense because we didnt have a problem with it, they decided on their own, to take care of it for us. That shows they understand its not just the job but the extra things that really make lifelong customers of people. They also provided a referral for a carpenter to fix the hole in the ceiling and he came the following day and took care of it right then and there for a very reasonable price. They definitely made lifelong customers of us!

    My A/C is running better than it ever has. But my water hose in the back yard was cut off and the sprinkler head cut off not screwed off but cut off. I was not very happy about that. I am in a wheel chair and my hands and legs do not work to well and that was very hard for me to get put together.

    Robert was very knowledgeable and professional. He quickly diagnosed our HVAC problem. As soon as his company sourced the part he quickly replaced the motor and had our home cooling again.     The service was amazing! I received a call back even though it was late into the evening on a Sunday. Since it was the middle of a heat wave they wanted to make sure i would be okay until morning. Tech showed up @ 7:30 the next morning and got my system up and running.     We called them over because we needed new duct work and ac unit installed. Very professional they explained the differences between an ac split and central ac, the pros and cons of each. They sized up the appropriate ac based off of the dimensions of our house using google maps and the number of vents we had. After deciding on which of the 3 systems we wanted they explained the process with no additional fees. They cleaned up the area where they worked in and even provided temporary portable ac units to keep rooms cold at night and day during their work. They even made some modifications to the ac metal stand so we could easily remove and replace the air filter. Over all I’m glad we called them my family now has good clean and cold air, I’m hoping this will decrease our electric bill significantly now that we have a more energy efficient ac system with new duct work. I highly recommend them, hope this was helpful.

    I recently had my a/c making noise and was looking at replacing my system. Nathan came out to evaluate the home and gave me several options to choose from. Nathan was awesome and really takes the time to explain everything. After making a decision within a week they were already installing everything. I had my ac unit and ducts replaced and they finished everything within 2 days. All the workers were awesome very professional, explained the process and the craftsmanship was top notch.     Guys showed up on time and got to work fast and professionally. Very friendly. Poor Alder stayed up in the attic all morning (HOT) and Dave went up to help him.     I wish I could give a five star review but unfortunately I cant. George Cunningham was my contractor through Lowes to install a whole house Generac generator. When the generator was set on the concrete base they forgot to install one of the three mounting bolts, now I have a crack in the base that looks like it is coming from the location of the bolts they did install and Im thinking it might be a stress crack since all three bolts were not installed before it was started up. When the gas line to the generator was installed the pipe was installed at an angle as it comes out of the back of the generator and now there is a gap between the pipe and the rubber grommet which will allow bugs and geckos to enter the generator. I have been trying to get them to come back and straighten this pipe out but so far after three or four days I have had no luck. I also had to spend a week sitting at home every day waiting for technicians to come because there were no appointments made, they would just show up whenever. George Cunningham has a good reputation in this area so I was really hoping for an excellent job but I am a bit disappointed.Update 3/31/2021... after my original review I was contacted by Mr. Salazar at George Cunningham, he paid a visit to me a couple of days later to discuss my concerns. Since that meeting his crew has been out here twice and satisfactorily taking care of every concern I had concerning my generator install. His people are very professional and friendly and I am 100% satisfied now with their service and their customer service. I can now gladly give them a 5-star review.

The Issue this time was a tough one, and I witnessed their problem solving skills put to the test, I was so impressed with their efforts to correct the issue and not just give up and try to sell me a new one!     We had problems with a new generator that would not start. I called the manufacturer and they gave me several businesses that could help me. I picked George Cunningham and I made a good decision. We scheduled a next day appointment. The technician found the problem very fast. Since it was a new generator, the part was still under warranty. I did not have to do anything. The people at George Cunningham called the manufacturer and order the part. As soon as it arrived they scheduled a day to install it. Their hourly rate is comparable to other businesses within the same trade.

    I called yesterday afternoon to request service on my Generac. I was surprised to hear that someone would be able to check my unit out the very next day. I received a text message informing me that they were on the way and a phone call from the technician. The technician, Lino introduced himself and I showed him to the Generac. He asked me questions and proceeded to get tools to begin his service. We both suspected the battery. Within a few minutes he had removed my battery installed his and determined that it was not the battery, instead it was a fuse. He did not carry the fuse, but was going to source it and advise me later today when they have located the replacement.Lino was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and advised me through the entire process of what to expect.I am so impressed with the service I received and will utilize your company on any of my ac and electrical needs going forward.     I am an engineer, and new to the Valley area. I needed to replace two units, and wanted to balance upfront price with the monthly energy cost to operate the system, and comfort. Sure, I quoted others with easy in-and-out pricing. The folks at George Cunningham worked extensively with me on upfront airflow analysis, and to make sure that I was getting what I wanted, with the right cost balance. They were extremely courteous and conscientious, working with us to make sure that we were completely happy with the system. In my case, the monthly power bill dropped almost 50% with the new system (nine months running). They also made sure we got the available energy rebates from our power company.     Used this company to install new furnace. They sent a rep to measure opening and to determine what options I had. They wrote an estimate on what would work for me. I approved the estimate for a Coleman furnace. They installed the furnace on scheduled time. When they tested it. It did not work. The tech called Coleman on what could be wrong, they told him it needed a special flue pipe. He ordered the pipe and scheduled a time to install it. When that time came no body showed up, so I called them. They told me the pipe didnt show up. The next they rescheduled the install. When that day no one showed up. I called them again and they told me they would track it down. At 11AM they called me back and found it in a warehouse in Harlingen. Since we have been without heat for several days and the nights are in the 30s I told them ASAP. They did a wonderful job in setting up the install that same day for 3PM. After installing flue pipe the furnace works GREAT! They cleaned up the roof and furnace area before they left.

Easy and more cost effective for me to do it.     I am well pleased with my air conditioner repair on August 11th, a Sunday. I came home to a very hot house. I called Cunninghams for help. The repairman returned my call immediately. He was there in an hour, repaired the problem within a few minutes, and was so professional and personable. I would call them again without hesitation. I just hope I dont have to!!!

    It appears that George Cunningham A/C Co, has definetely improved its service and attention to detail, they did did a great job at my home in Brownsville. Prompt courteous service. We had a coil that was not performong well, Ray the tech. person came as scheduled , assesed the problem and recommended replacing the coil under the factory guarantee. It was done the next morning, no hassle for me at all, it was taking care fast. Marcos arrived promptly the next morning , removed the old coil and installed a brand new one, no cost to me , labor and replacement part covered, he made sure the system was operating well before leaving and not before asking if I had any concerns or questions and if I was satisfied with the job done.I highly recommend G. Cunningham Air Conditioned Co. I purchase the yearly maintenance program they have, it can save you a lot of hassle and money, the company sends a technician to inspect and service your machines every six months, doing that it will catch things in time before a major breakdown occurs and a major hit to your wallet. I don’t know the owner(s) or manager but Thelma in the front office is very nice and friendly and in my experience she is a problem solver and coordinates things very efficiently with the technicians in the field. G. Cunningham A/C Co. has gained my trust. I didn’t give them five stars (porque se podrian chiflar ) and because I believe there is always room for improvement

    Great service, Danny is very knowledgeable and was thorough with his assessment of the problem which turned out to be a very small leak in a valve. The cost of the procedure, system recharge with 3 lbs. of 401A refrigerant, the use of the sniffer leak detector, labor, etc. was more than I expected but I hope I get what I paid for. A/C is certainly blowing much better and house is cooler. 😀😊.

    Purchased a new Amana ASXC16 a/c. Great experience thru the whole process. Keith and Javier did the installation. Keith took great care to make sure it was a perfect installation.     Whenever I have a service call with George Cunningham, their service people are great and professional. Its unfortunate that their supplier (Trane) provided equipment where after two years the coil has to be replaced. This was state of the art equipment and highly priced and was put in as a replacement to other Trane equipment that over a period of 10 years had required 2 coil replacements.George Cunningham and their team reacted to the problem and replaced the coil. I am on a PM program with GH and the equipment is well maintained
