    There is nothing more stressful to a home owner than went the AC unit goes out. It’s even more stressful when you are about to put your house up for sale. Thankfully we were referred to M Jay and with Frost Air LLC. M Jay showed up the same day, on a Sunday! Looked at our problem, didn’t give us any run around on what we needed to do to fix our issue and was straightforward with pricing. He got us a new unit the next days and it was installed and up and running in 48 hrs. M Jay was always about doing the job right and has every fair pricing. No nickel and dime price for every different service, like the big corporate companies. He came out for no charge and presented on estimate for the whole job. I’m so grateful for M Jay and his team working hard and being considerate of maintaining our timeline to sell our house as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing AC/Heating services.

    This is a long review, but the summary is that Frost Air LLC does fantastic work, you owe it to yourself to give Frost Air a chance, if you are in the market for AC/water heater replacement or service. They simply provide the best service you can expect. It is a small business, so you get the attention of the owner, MJ, throughout the service.This is a late review, but I wanted to write this anyway. I have bought an old house in Houston neighborhood, and it came with an appliance warranty. When the AC (separate units for upstairs and downstairs) which is about 20 years old started acting, we called the warranty service, and they sent a company to check it out. Instead of fixing the issue, they claimed that there is no return air planum installed in the AC system, so unless that is fixed, they can’t honor the warranty service. Because they claimed it is improper installation, installing a plenum is not covered. Instead of dumping money to fix the existing system which is 20+ years old, we decided to replace the AC units. We called a few companies, and Frost Air by far provided the most detailed bid. They proposed Trane units and worked directly with Trane to get equipment registered to our address. He provided options on equipment and discussed (+) and (-) of various energy saving options. MJ also proposed to put a smaller tonnage unit for downstairs than what we had because it was too much for the floor area. Once we decided to go with Frost Air, MJ and his team worked days and night last summer to replace the system. In addition to changing the AC units, they also re-arranged the duct work in the attic, and converted one of the AC units to stack up vertically instead of horizontal layout to get more space in the attic. They installed three additional return air vents in the upstairs rooms to better circulate the air. All these additional works was done for no extra charge. All work was thoroughly inspected by MJ before putting it to service. Not only that, he stressed the need for him to be back and check out the heating system before we start using heating in the winter to make sure everything is working fine. He did so when the winter started and before we switched over to heating from cooling. Unlike other contractors who would install and be gone never to be heard of, MJ stayed in touch to make sure systems work as intended.They also recommended that we replace water heaters that are also about 20 years old. MJ showed me the corrosion on some of the line and he felt that it was accident waiting to happen. If a water tank fail/leak in the attic, that would be an issue no one wants to deal with. They did replace the two water tanks for a very reasonable cost (I know the cost from replacement done at the previous house). Their work was so good I also had them install a split AC system for my garage.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Frost Air. You will be doing a favor to yourself, if you give a call to MJ and let him provide your AC/heating needs.

    Mr. J helped me out in a pinch. He came to me with good recommendation. He worked on my A/C and got it running. I found Mr. J to be very professional, fair, and courteous. He followed up with me to make sure my A/C was working properly. As a matter of fact, I found the house cooling better than it had for awhile. I strongly recommend Frostair for any A/C repairs.

    We have used Frost air for 3 years. MJay is always good about following up and making sure our A/C is working throughout the year. He is always reasonable and very well priced. We are glad to recommend him to our friends.He completed a tough job recently for us replacing a drip pan. The A/C unit had to be carefully lifted by a whole team and reassembled. He left the job site clean and followed up with me multiple times to make sure it was running well.He is not like the big companies who try and charge you for every little thing.     I was referred to Frost Air LLC, and owner Jay, by a friend of my wife. We had received an estimate to replace our A/C system from another contractor, but thought the price was too high. Jay’s price estimate was a fraction of the other bid so we chose his company to do the replacement.The new equipment was installed quickly. All the work and materials were first rate and his team was very professional. Jay took the time to explain the entire process and helped us choose the right solution for our home.Even with the current supply chain issues and shortage of equipment, Jay was able to locate the right equipment for us and install it flawlessly. Our system is running smoothly and cools better than before.I will now call Jay and Frost Air for all my future heating and air conditioning needs.     Frost Air recently installed a new HVAC and water heater in my home. It was a wonderful, comfortable experience from start to finish. My family has used Frost Air over the past several years and have always had a great experience. Jay and his team are professional and courteous, and easy to work with. Due to the age of my home, there were some hitches in the installation process, but Jay and his team graciously handled them and were able to complete the project properly. There were some delays due to weather, but Jay was in constant communication about when they would be able to proceed with each step.     After our 3.5-ton AC unit failed, and our 2.5-ton desperately needing repairs, I contacted Mr. Jay as per a colleague. He was very professional and receptive on the phone which right away gave me a good feeling I reached the right HVAC person! From day one, he was very courteous, knowledgeable, and informative. He explained what needed to be done. I didn’t feel pressured, but at the same time realized both our AC units, evaporators, plenums, and one furnace needed to be replaced. In short, we received top-of-the-line AC units (Trane), a heater, freon line repair, new ducts, and a new vent in our kitchen area. This installation-repair-overhaul could have been a ton of more money, but Mr. Jay was able to keep costs down! Any other company would have charged 5X as much! Most of all, he always came on time, explained beforehand what he was doing, constantly supervised his techs, and stepped in during complicated or specific tasks.     I had Frostair replace my AC inside and outside units at a very fair price for a quality Trane product. Units were installed in May 2020 and I just had an issue with my coolant being low due to a small leak in the attic. Mjay came out the day after I called and refilled my coolant and fixed the leak at no charge. Its hard to find an honest and fair AC company and Frostair has been that for me. I highly recommend using them for your AC needs.

    We have used MJ on several projects and repairs since 2021. We have had 2 complete HVAC systems installed as well as 2 water heaters installed. We have been very satisfied with all.     I came home from a walk and felt like my house didn’t give that same refreshing cool air sensation I’m used to. I checked the thermostat and found it had creeped up close to 80 degrees even though it was set at 72. Checked the attic and outdoor unit, both seemed to be on. I called Frostair and MJ was over within an hour on a Friday afternoon! He came up immediately with the correct tools and got to work. He quickly identified the problem as the compressor or capacitor and had an extra capacitor for testing. In less than 10 minutes he found the issue was the capacitor despite no visible signs of wear & tear and our AC was running again! He’s very professional and personable, also makes consistent recommendations on how to prepare to avoid loosing your AC. I wasn’t sure if the AC was cooling again at first and called MJ back, he came back in 20 min and demonstrated everything was working just fine. He had the needed parts in his van, got us up and running quickly and easily and was at a very fair price!

    My house was built in the year of 2000 and just last year (2018) I started to realize the AC is not as cold as it used to, got to know Mr. MJ through a coworker, he came and diagnosed the freon were all leaked, since it was the old style, it will be more costly to refill but more importantly, it will get leaked out again sooner rather than later. MJ then gave me a quote to replace the whole unit: a 4 ton, a 2 ton, two furnaces and the coils, the cost is very reasonable. At this time it was around mid May so kind of getting unbearable without AC, the crews came at the schedule time and completed the job in one weekend. The crews actually took great care of our wooden floor and left no trace of residues or trash after they complete the job. It has been almost a year (one winter and one summer) since the installation and I have no issues whatsoever, the new 16 SEER AC units are really energy efficient, the energy use is hovering around 1100 kwh during the hottest months and it was a lot less during others. Overall I highly recommend Mr. MJs service and the quality of work they have performed.

    Dont bother looking at any other AC companies. Frost Air Refrigeration is the way to go for commercial or residential. By far the most professional and honest company Ive used. Jay, the owner, went above and beyond to help me on several occasions. Just 4 years ago, Jay installed a large scale HVAC commercial system in my service center located on Conroe, TX.He calculated perfectly the heat load, cooling capacity of the air conditioning unit in BTU’s, to determine how many air conditioners it would take to balance “energy efficiency” and “temperature” in our Texas environment.On a second occasion, Jay installed two complete HVAC units, which keep our family nice and comfortable all year round. I can say, Jay is not only a great person but his quality and workmanship will out class any other competitor in the market.     Let me start by saying I will not be using any other company for my Air Condition/Refrigeration needs. Frostair is professional, kind, and honest. I can honestly say I have never had a better customer service experience. He got here, let me know what I was dealing with, and made sure to educate me so I knew what I was looking at for future reference. Lastly, what meant the most is that we have kids and one of those babies is almost one. He took that into consideration with scheduling so that he could take care of us.     I’ll say I’ve had two very different experiences with work performed at my house in the last 18 months. The first I won’t spend any time on, but let’s just say it was polar opposite of what I’m about to describe (which was completed in Nov 2017) ...MJay -- short for a much longer name - from FrostAir LLC was simply FANTASTIC!! I had three 16-SEER Trane units (3-ton, 4-ton & 5-ton) put in for an unbelievably low cost. In fact, I was told by another guy in the business that it seemed near impossible. The difference is that this guy isn’t trying to get rich off of every job. That’s why he’ll continue to have business, I think ... his business ethics align to the principles of God’s word.The job included the outside condenser units, the inside furnaces/exchangers/evaporator coils, custom-built plenum, new disconnect boxes & 3 new top-of-the-line thermostats ... everything but new ducting and refrigeration lines. Oh, and a 10yr mfr warranty on parts and a 2yr labor warranty.MJay showed up when he said he would, called/texted if he was gonna be even a few minutes late, had materials delivered the next day after deposit, spent 4 days at my house to do the job right, and I could go on. He and his crew are clean and professional — both personally and the work performed. His two main guys have been with him for over 10 years because he takes care of them ... i.e., buys their breakfast & lunch daily. He even bought my wife and I lunch as I was coming off of knee surgery.After the job was completed, he texted each day for several days to ensure I was doing okay, personally, and that the units were keeping us comfortable.MJay was incredible, and I continue to highly recommend him to friends and family, several of which have used him since and have been just as pleased. Sure, he specializes in residential/commercial A/C & refrigeration services, but he also specializes in people.I can near guarantee that you won’t find a better deal than what FrostAir will offer.     This is the best company to call on a hot Texas day when your AC system goes out! My system needed service and within 2 hours of notifying Mr Jay my AC was running and it was cold!     When I had a problem with one of my central air condition unit, I started calling here and there, 3 to 4 so called reputed companies visited my house but everyone was asking outrageous price which was out of my budget, ultimately I got to know about FROST AIRCONDITIONING from one of my best friend. Next day I called and talked to Mr Mahesh, he came to my house looked at the broken system and suggested Trane 2.5 ton complete system with very reasonable price which is almos one third less than other vendor asked for. I accepted his offer. After a week he came with his crews to install the system. The whole process was very smooth and peaceful. I will highly recommend FROST AIRCONDITIONING.

    Jay came out and took care of us the same day we called. He was able to do the repair while here. We had some burnt wires that needed to be replaced. He was very personable and came to me through a mutual friend who referred him to me.

    I had my home build and after about 10 years, the air conditioner unit started having promblems, so after the third time of having it fixed , I started calling different companies to get a quote on just replacing the outside unit . Everybody price was a little over $5000.00I then found Frost Air and Mr. Jay said he could replace everything with new Trane equipment (everything in the attic, heater, air handler and a new high efficiency outside unit for $6000.00He installed the unit to my standards and I was impressed by his workmanship and details..The only bad thing I could say is that Mr Jay will call you several times a year making sure you are happy....Trust me, several of my neighbors have used Mr. Jay and are very happy...
