    Sonny was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and open and honest about everything throughout the entire process.     Sonny is amazing. a very straight-up honest guy. I got an expensive diagnosis from another ac tech and Sonny spent time checking to make sure this was correct before trying to sell me on anything. he even offered to try to fix it to give us a few more weeks of AC while we were shopping units and did it free of charge. I would HIGHLY recommend using his service in a business that is normally trying to get money from the customer he is truly trying to help people. cannot recommend him enough!

    I feel I can’t say enough about Fort Worth Air-Conditioning! It is the heat of the summer and our air conditioning isn’t cooling at 7:30am on Saturday morning. I called at 7:48 and Sonny picked up after 2 rings! He was at my home at 11 am checking my system on a SATURDAY!!! I know there are a lot of great air-conditioning companies out there but they don’t pick up their phones on a weekend, Sonny always answers my call. If he misses it, he will always call you back. Sonny has done maintenance on our old system for 7 years before it went out and replaced our system last year!!! Highly highly recommend Fort Worth Air-Conditioning, ask for Sonny, he is the owner!!!

    I have been using Fort Worth Air Co for my A/C servicing for over 5 years. They have always done a great job. Great customer service, always worked with my schedule, and I never got the feeling I was being taken advantage of. This year my A/C was on its last leg. I knew it was only a matter of time before I would be without any cool air, which is a death sentence in Texas. I called three companies to come give me estimates. Never heard back from one, another one took two weeks to give me an estimate and didnt seem to care at all, and then there was FTW Air. First off, scheduling was great. The office staff was very nice and helpful. Sonny came out personally for my estimate on a Friday afternoon on short notice. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to go over all aspects of the installation process. He even suggested moving my AC over to be more efficient. This would not cost me any extra money but would cost them more time. They gave me a fair price and there was no question who I was going with. We were able to schedule the installation quickly. On that day, Sonny was there again to ensure everything went well. Everything went great. They spent the time needed to make sure everything was working at peak performance. As a side note, they also did some other side work for me in my yard without any hesitation and didnt even charge me. I was very impressed with them. Martha, their office manager, even stopped by to check in with us. It has been about three months since I got my new A/C and it is working like a champ!! Long story short, theyve earned a customer for life. The process was easy and their customer service is top notch. Very glad I went with them.

    Above and Beyond! When we purchased our home 4 years ago the inspector failed to notice two things. That the previous owner built the upstairs around the downstairs unit and that they did not put enough returns for the upstairs unit. As a result anytime I had a AC company come out they would tell me that if the unit for the downstairs ever died it was going to cost me a fortune to have it removed and have the unit put back into another spot. So two weeks ago when we had the warm weather my worst fear happened. The AC died! Like dead big time. I called all the other big name companies you see on TV and they came out and gave me a quote. One group even said they would have to open my roof just to get access. Just like they all said, it was going to have to cost me a ton of money.....that is until I called Fort Worth Air. James came out and looked at the system. He agreed that it was dead but he did not agree that it was going to cost a fortune. We also looked at the upstairs as he immediately realized we did not have enough returns. The best I could ever get the upstair to be on a day when it was 80 was like 76 degrees. He discovered that not only were there not enough returns but the unit was undersized. He stated that moving the downstairs unit would not be a problem because they could extend the supply line using duct board. As you will see in the pictures the duct board is a work of art. I personally watched James measure and build the duct by hand in my garage. I took pictures which you can see how good it looks. The other thing I found impressive is that Sunny the owner came out personally to go over James suggestions and made some improvements that reduced my total cost. For as much money as I was about to spend the other guys owners didnt come out. The install team that worked with James were very professional and very polite. The day they completed the upstairs it just happened to be 82 degrees outside. They were able to get the upstairs to 70 degrees. For the first time my kids actually wanted to stay up there. I wish I could give more than five stars to this company because they did what they said they were going to do and the workmanship is incredible. Oh and I was able to replace both units for thousands less than the other guys bid on just replacing one.

    Fort Worth Air Conditioning Co. Inc. was referred to us by our neighbors after we discovered our AC slowly wasnt cooling like it normally does. I texted Sonny on a Sunday and set up an appt. for Monday. He was there when he said he would be. Diagnosed the issue and found that is was under the manufacture warranty. With the current outside temps near 100 degrees was able to get the part ordered and installed on Thursday. I arrived home to our home cooling. Sonny kept texting during the evening to make sure it was still cooling. Also, I would like to say Thank you to your crew for bringing my garbage cans down to the house from the street. We will be using them for any future needs and regular maintenance. Thank you again Sonny and crew. Yall are the best.

    We had a blower motor making all kinds of crazy noises. I can tell it was on its last legs. Of course, it had to happen on Saturday. I spoke with Sonny and scheduled an appointment that following Monday morning. He ran a little later than expected, but texted me letting me know. It was fine though, because he made up for it by having the replacement part on-hand and completed the job within an hour. I would definitely use this company again.

    Great service! Ill definitely use Ft Worth Air for all my air conditioning service going forward.My air conditioning went out at midnight on Saturday night. By 8:30am Sunday morning, I had a reply back from Fort Worth Air and a scheduled time same day Sunday for service. I got a heads up call they were on the way.     Had my stop cooling while I was at work and came home to house hotter than it was outside. I was really worried because I have a dog thats really old and stresses easily.     I called Fort Worth Air Conditioning because it has been two years since my heater was checked and we almost had a fire at that time when the motor burned out (while I was gone and four pets at home), so I felt kind of guilty not having it done yet. But what really triggered my call was a vibrating sound - a horrible sound - I heard behind the thermostat one day. Well, Sonny was very helpful and said although our heater was absolutely fine, the vibrating was probably coming from the doorbell! And it made sense, because the first time I heard it really badly, somebody had tried to ring our doorbell (probably really hard since the switch wasnt even working) and we figured out the problem with Sonny, and he told us all he knew about that, although admitting he is not certified in that area as an electrician, but helped us out extremely well. He was prompt, he called before he came, and we even enjoyed the visit, believe it or not :-).

    My AC blower stopped and my regular AC guy was unavailable for a couple of days. I read the reviews for FTW AC and decided to call. Sonny came out that day and was prompt and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to provide a temporary fix to get my AC unit running. He also took the time to check the AC compressor and make sure there were no other issues. Even though he knew I was going to get my regular repairman to permanently fix the issue, he went out of his way to ensure that the unit was running properly and that I was satisfied with the service.     Mr. Sonny has always been really kind and professional. He’s worked on our A/C unit twice. He fixed a leaky part, advised what repairs were a possibility in the future, and stood by the repair. He was also flexible with our budget and let us pay the invoice when we got paid the next week. I can’t tell you how thankful I was. The repair held up and works great. We also installed our own nest thermostat, but was running into an issue with the AC running cold. I called after 5pm on a Friday and he came out within 30 minutes. He was honest about what he thought it was, completed the repair and now AC blows cold again! We were so thankful for his timely response and professionalism. He stands by his work and will come out again if something else comes up. We will be a return customer if we need our HVAC system serviced again. 10/10 Absolutely Recommend.

    I had my AC go down in the middle of a string of 100+ degree days and Sonny diagnosed the issue quickly and unfortunately due to the age it was a full replacement inside and out of the system.     Sonny promptly came out to assess my air conditioner problem. Evaluated the need for replacement, which was necessary. He gave me an estimated cost for total installation. This price was much better than two others that I had obtained. On the installation date he came with four men and installed the air conditioner including compressor, air handler and heater in three hours.     I woke up with no AC in July in TX. I called a few of the big name companies and was being told 3 weeks for a service call. A work colleague recommended I call and was glad I did. Sonny answered the call and told me he could be out same day. He was right up front with me on the diagnosis of my issue and what I needed.     Sonny was amazing! On Sunday morning here in benbrook we had an emergency ac issue. We woke up with no air in the middle of July. I called Sonny about 9am and he was to our house before 1pm that day diagnosing the problem. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to fix it that day because our ac required a unique motor that he didn’t carry on his truck. But Sonny made a special trip to the supplier the next day because the website said they didn’t have any in stock and he couldn’t get them on the phone. So he made a special trip just to be 100% positive that they didn’t have one. Lucky, they had just received a truck between him driving there and looking online and they got two in. He picked it up and got it installed for us. Sonny’s communication with us was superb. Would definitely recommend him to anyone around us!!!!

    A/C went out on Labor Day weekend (of course!) and the system wasn’t even 2 years old. After calling two other service providers (and not getting called back).     Sonny recently came out to my home for a second opinion on my Heat Pump. It’s a fairly new system and the first company to come out gave an exorbitant estimate for the repair they diagnosed. I called Fort Worth Air Conditioning Company and Sonny came out promptly. He was able to confirm the diagnosis and explained to me in detail what needed to be done. The price quoted made much more sense after he explained the work involved.     When your air goes out on a 100+ day it is miserable. I could not get my regular company to come out for 4 days so I started reading reviews. I found some of the best with Fort Worth Air.     We had called FTW Air about 7 years ago when our heater stopped firing. Sonny came out and cleaned the gas pressure valve and it was an easy and cheap fix. So when our heater stopped working last week, we called Sonny again and he came out the same day, spent a couple hours trying to fix the problem but in the end had to order a part for what he hoped would fix it. He was patient with my questions and calls to confirm the part was coming in and they would be back the same week since the temps were expected to be in the 30s and 40s all weekend. James came out on Friday and spent a couple hours installing the new part and testing the unit to ensure it was working. Unfortunately, it was only part of the fix. After a quick call to Sonny, James ran out to get part for the board that controls the unit and another piece for the unit. He came back that afternoon, replaced the board and another part and the unit was firing back up right away. It was a great feeling to have heat going into a record breaking cold weekend and knowing that Sonny and his team wanted to make it right for us. Sonny has always been honest and straightforward with me and takes the time to explain the issue and the fix. We definitely plan to use Sonny and his team for any issues in the future and I highly recommend him.

    On Thursday we noticed our AC was not cooling properly. I tried calling another service company that we have used in the past and after 4 calls and leaving two messages, I could not get anyone on the phone or even get a call back. So I checked online and found Fort Worth Air Conditioning and I saw they had a bunch of good reviews, and a lot of them recent. I called them on Friday afternoon and the owner Sonny answered the phone. He was on his way to a service call and told me he could not get to me until the next day after 4 PM. He told me how much it would cost to come out and check my system and I told him to schedule me in. The next day I was very impressed that he called me while he was on the service call prior to mine so that he could keep me updated on what time to expect him. He showed up at the expected time and I explained what was happening with my AC. He connected his gauge to the outdoor unit and I asked him what he was checking and what readings he expected to see on his gauge. Sonny was patient and friendly and didn’t mind my questions. He explained what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what he expected to see on his gauge in a good system. I really appreciated that he communicated all this to me. Based on his gauge readings I needed a little bit of refrigerant. In addition to that, we also had a problem with one of the heater coils turning on in the HVAC unit at the same time the AC was running which Sonny found while checking the unit in the attic. I’m familiar with electrical work and using gauges and I could see everything he was doing and I could also see the readings on his gauge while he checked the wiring on the HVAC unit in the attic. The gauge showed one of the heater coils was drawing current when it should not have been running at all. I would never have thought of checking there and he impressed me with how fast he found that problem on the heating side that was affecting the cooling. Sonny was great and he gave me some tips on what I could do to my HVAC system myself to save money. The AC is cooling great now and I will definitely call Sonny again in the future. So glad I found Fort Worth Air Conditioning and I will recommend them to friends and family.

    I cannot say enough about Fort Worth Air. We have a rental property in the area that needed a replacement unit. When the tenant moved in, they noticed the house was warm, and when they checked to see if the A/C was working out back, the saw that it was GONE.     I have used this company for 8 years to service my air conditioners and furnaces. Sonny is great. He is very knowledgeable and professional, and gets me back up and running at a very reasonable price. I always get same day service when I call with an emergency (like the AC going out in the middle of the Texas summer). I had to replace an evaporator coil because of a corrosion leak, but he filled me up with enough refrigerant to get me by and stay comfortable until the new coil arrived and could be installed. When the new coil was installed, I was not charged for any amount of refrigerant leakage that occurred while waiting on the new coil. I highly recommend using this company for anyone looking for knowledgeable HVAC professionals, fair pricing, and great customer service.

    We almost called the big name guys who have all those online specials and television commercials. Don’t do it! Call these guys instead. The owner himself came out to help us and he got here fast. Water was leaking through our ceiling from the HVAC unit upstairs, due to the original installer only hand-tightening the pipe. The original installer also left a LIVE wire hanging which probably could have started a fire. We thought we’d be good using the guys from TV, but that’s what we got. No attention to detail whatsoever. You won’t get that problem with Fort Worth Air. Sonny takes pride in his business, and his work is detailed and thorough. He fixed our leak, checked the unit both upstairs and outside, and even capped that live wire for us. The price was much lower than what the other guys would charge, and the work is just better. They have a forever customer with us.

    Fort Worth Air Conditioning Co. was absolutely wonderful to me and my husband when our air conditioner failed to cool off last week. On July 21, 2017, I called my home warranty provider to request service for our air conditioner. The warranty provider uses Grace Air and Heat. Grace Air and Heat sent over a technician that said we have a small leak and that he repaired the leak and added six pounds of refrigerant to our AC. Well the house never cooled off. I called them back to follow up and a different technician tells me several things that are wrong with the AC and that there will be some non-covered costs. He did not add more refrigerant, in fact he simply said ... well the Freon did not make it. In the midst of our extreme frustration we decided to get a second opinion. We began to read reviews and decided to have Fort Worth Air Conditioning assess the situation. When I called to request service, Jessica answered my call and she was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and thorough when she explained what to expect from the service visit. When Sonny (technician) arrived to my home he was extremely pleasant. He checked to see if the air conditioner was registered when we purchased the home for an appliance warranty, and when it was discovered that it was not registered he explained all of the options available to us. He informed me and my husband about everything that was wrong on his first visit and how we could effectively and economically repair our air conditioner. He offered to provide us with refrigerant to keep our home cool until Jessica could get us scheduled for the repair. When Sonny added refrigerant to our air conditioner it worked to cool our home!!! When the refrigerant ran out James (another technician with Fort Worth Air Conditioning) came to add more refrigerant until he repaired our AC leak the next day. James was also very thorough and explained everything before he did the repair. He also noticed that we had a clog in our drain that was the culprit to our leak. He discussed routine maintenance to keep our air conditioner in the best condition. We are so grateful and appreciative of the service from Fort Worth Air Conditioning. We will continue to be a customers of Fort Worth Air Conditioning as long as we live in Fort Worth.     Our AC system stopped working in the middle of the night during a multi day 100+ degree heat wave. I called Fort Worth Air Conditioning on Saturday morning at 9:00. I was given a 1-3 pm window for repair with a promise that I would be called ahead of time. Sonny called at 12:15 to confirm if we were home and arrived early by 12:30. He was extremely friendly, upfront about costs, and had us up and running again in about 20 minutes.     We used Fort Worth Air to fix up an old unit back in 2014 that we knew was on its last leg. Sonny gave us a quote and it was a competitive price for a whole new system. He if very pro first responder/military, which was very appreciated. We decided to take him up on his quote and got a whole new Trane system put in. We ran into a problem with the evaporator coil shortly after that and notified Sonny that it wasnt cooling properly that evening. Sonny had a tech out to my house early the next morning. They ordered the part and replaced everything quickly and timely. Everything was covered under the warranty and Sonny and his crew took care of us. Fast forward to two years later we ran into another problem with it cooling. Called Sonny up around 3pm and he was willing to have someone out to my house that evening, unfortunately I had to work and had to do it the following morning. Upon further review Trane had a run of bad evaporator coils and recently upgraded to a better coil. Luckily the part was still under the warranty and Sonny took care of us very well and was very understanding of the situation. James did the install and has been nothing but knowledgable and willing to show me each step of the process while explaining his findings. Made me very comfortable with his expertise on AC units. Hell explain the whole process while working in the attic if youre willing to sweat it out with him. As unfortunate as it was to run into some issues with the unit Sonny has shown his commitment to me as a customer and his willingness to make it right is a relief when the AC is on the fritz. Im glad Trane saw the issue people were having and fixed the problem. Fort Worth Air has made a time that any other company would have given me the run around and fixed what needed to be fixed professionally, timely, and honorably. Thanks Again.

    Our very old central a/c unit decided to quit yesterday at our office. Within a couple of hours Sonny arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem -- a fan motor.     I was having a problem with my ac system and i called a company out to take a look at it and they came and quoted me prices on a new system identified the problem and gave me no price on the fix and just tried to take advantage of the situation. I called Sonny at Fort Worth air conditioning and told him what my issues were and he told me he could probably have it fixed the same day so I set an appointment for the next morning and he came out and confirmed that the motor was out quoted me the fix price plus the sevice charge, went and got the part the same day and within a few hours from the start of the service call my ac was working again.     Ive been a repeat customer of Fort Worth Air Conditioning Co. for more than ten years, and theyve repeatedly answered the bell for both heating and AC emergencies. So it was a no-brainer when the time came to replace the complete HVAC system in my 50 year old North Benbrook home. During extremely cold weather the furnace fan motor gave out very early on Saturday morning and Sonny Pewitt came over on short notice. There were no replacements available for such and old motor, so Sonny managed to coax it on in manual mode to keep the furnace working until he could install a new system on Monday. Since it was an old R22 AC system, he gave me a very good price on a complete new Trane HVAC system with upgraded ton and SEER rating. He also included a much better filter system that improved operation and efficiency significantly. His installer James did a great job with the installation, which was very difficult with the tight space and door opening inside the house. James had to disassemble and then reassemble the coil unit in order to install it without damaging the door opening or wall. The next day Sonny came by to inspect the work and calibrate the fan controls to optimize the furnace and AC operation. Sonny could not check out the AC operation due to the very low ambient temperature, but will return when temperatures warm up with a free service call to complete the setup.I expect to be a Fort Worth Air Conditioning Co. customer for life.Update on 5/7/14 - Ive been running the AC for several weeks now that its gotten hotter outside, and its a great system. Its extremely quiet and easily maintains the temperature setting throughout the house. Today Sonny came over to check it out, and everything is perfect. I couldnt be happier with both the Trane system and the service from Fort Worth Air Conditioning Co.

Within 10 minutes the temperature inside rapidly climed to 86 degrees and I was on the emergency hunt for AC repair on a Sunday night. Sonny was there very promptly to help out.     FWAC replaced my entire HVAC system. I had a furnace from the 1960s and it was a complicated installation. They quoted me a price and stuck to it. They started and finished when they said they would. The installation was professional and they cleaned up after themselves. Im not sure what else you could ask from anyone doing any kind of work on your home. I took 7 bids on this job and their price was fair. Out of everyone I spoke with, Sonnie just seemed like the best guy. I liked that he was the guy that came out and wrote up my estimate, and he was there installing the system too - he wasnt just some sales guy that came out first.

    Forth worth air conditioning is very nice, quick, and considerate. we have been using his services for many years now, I have recommended him to everyone I know even my job. he is always able to answer any question I have. and even if he is busy he has walked me through a way to fix the issue myself over the phone. His prices are very competitive, quick response time, and his people skills are excellent! if u dont know much about ac, he is always willing to take the time to explain what is wrong what to do to fix it in many different options. im in the west fort worth / white settlement area and have never had better service. and I am amazed by how even if u dont see him for a couple years he still remembers us like it was yesterday.

    Sunny (I hope Im spelling this correctly :D) was amazing. I was out of town with the hubs and came home to a COLD house. To be honest, our heater has always been awful, but it was just freezing. I have a 7 month old and 4 year old and needed a fix asap. Called Fort Worth Air and they came out same day to fix my ancient heater and did a great job! I dont know anything about heating units but it seemed very reasonably priced as well! Would definitely use again and will be referring! :)

    Our technician worked endlessly to find out what the root cause was and tried to find the most cost effective way to fix our unit. I have used this company for several years and they have not let me down yet. I have had another company come and charge me an outrageous amount only to have this company to come and fix what they missed and the cost was still less.
