    As part of our contract with Firehouse, our heating system received a checkup. The tech, Sam, was in communication with me prior to the appointment and showed up right on time. He didn’t waste any time servicing the heater. When he came down from the attic, he described everything he had done. He had a list of recommendations such as a surge protector or duct cleaning, but there wasn’t any pressure to purchase. I appreciated that.We are very pleased with Firehouse. Their techs are always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional in appearance.

    I originally contacted Firehouse Heating & Air to do a system tune up for my borderline ancient A/C system. They came out quickly and performed the tune up, which significantly increased my units performance. When the A/C decided it was time to stop working, Firehouse was extremely responsive in getting me the best priced quotes available for a replacement, and were able to perform the install of the new unit within days of requesting it. They were courteous towards my house and made sure that everything was well taken care of, and left the area as clean, if not cleaner than when they arrived. I am so pleased with my experience and will be continuing to use them for many years moving forward.

    Today we had the ducts cleaned and an indoor air quality system installed by Firehouse Heating and Air. I was impressed with the work of James, Rueben and Saul. They were thorough in cleaning more than just the ducts. They also cleaned the registers and cleaned the area where they worked so there was no mess for me to clean when they left. When they replaced the registers they even sealed the area between the drywall and duct! I hadn’t seen that done before. They were professional and I felt comfortable having them in our home.

    I called Firehouse because my the heat in one of my zones was not working. Temhey came out a few hours after calling them, and this wasnt an emergency call either. The Technician Fardeen arrived and he was very professional. He didnt try to bait me i to any unnecessary repairs. Obviously he made recommendations for the future, but over all Fardeen was great. I will definitely call them in the future.

    Firehouse Heating & Air is a company with integrity, which is extremely important and rare these days. There was a problem with the initial install of my split and Wesley and Dusty assured me that the issue would be resolved no matter what. They stood by there word and made sure the job was completed.     Today, we engaged Firehouse Heating and Air of Rockwall, Texas, to install an indoor air quality system. This system is engineered to enhance air filtration efficiency and minimize allergens within our home. A team of three professionals conducted a thorough assessment of the necessary installations, identifying the locations of ducting vents and uptakes. They meticulously laid down tarps and protective coverings on floors and furniture to ensure safety during the process.All air vent registers were removed, thoroughly cleaned, and inspected for optimal functionality. The ducting was also cleaned and vacuumed to maintain air quality. The fan motor and cage assembly were disassembled, cleaned, and checked for proper operation. Subsequently, a new filtration system was installed, complete with a filter assembly, ultraviolet light, and ionizer.The team demonstrated professionalism throughout the project, ensuring that each room was cleaned after the registers were resealed and reinstalled. We extend our sincere gratitude for their exceptional service.

    Fardeen showed up on time inspected ,my system and gave us lots of information on our system and what was needed. He showed me pictures and explained the whole process. We decided on a new unit and the install was scheduled for 2 days from inspection. So he was here on Friday and install will be Monday.     My AC has been out for the past three weeks. I got a few quotes from different companies and this one gave me the best quote. They showed up on time they honestly did it pretty fast and I was able to easily do stuff and not have them get in the way at all. I highly recommend this company. They didn’t outstanding job! Also, I know my job needed a few parts and I set the appointment on a Tuesday and they had the parts ready to go on Friday. I can’t say that that’s gonna happen with everybody because They are at the mercy of the places that they get the parts from. But I know they didn’t know my situation and that I had been living in heat for three weeks and they had the parts ready to go Friday morning.

    We experienced an issue with our A-Coil and TXV freezing over the 4th of July holiday weekend. After being dissatisfied with a previous service company, we decided to call Firehouse because they are located close to our home. The receptionist was very courteous and scheduled our appointment for the following Monday, which was acceptable for us. Although our system was still operational, we suspected a leak and were concerned about facing a costly repair.Jordan, the technician, arrived ahead of schedule. I explained to him the steps I had taken to troubleshoot the issue before calling Firehouse. He respected my efforts and did not dismiss me as an inexperienced DIYer. I showed him the pictures I had taken of the ice and the minor updates I had made. He promptly connected his gauges, and we went up into the attic to diagnose the problem. Within 15 minutes, Jordan determined that there was no refrigerant leak. He then conducted a thorough inspection of the system and identified an issue stemming from improper installation when the system was initially installed by the builder ten years ago.Jordan patiently answered all my questions, and at the end of the visit, it was clear that this was not a sales call. He performed a minor repair related to the improper installation and recommended a wait-and-see approach to determine if the system would freeze over again. If the issue persisted, he advised that the next step would be to fix the plenum installation on the intake side of the system, followed by replacing one more part if necessary. Jordan was confident that this step-by-step approach was the most effective way to proceed, with each step having an increasing cost (Free, $500, $1,000). If the free solution resolved the issue, there would be no need for more expensive repairs.If you are in the Rockwall or surrounding area covered by Firehouse, I highly recommend their services. HVAC companies are always in demand in Texas, but Firehouse stands out for their integrity and customer-first approach. Unlike other companies that might push for a full system replacement when a minor fix would suffice, Firehouse takes the time to properly diagnose and address the issue.I am pleased to have my system under their care.Update: Had Fardeen perform our semi-annual service. Talked with me about some preventative maintenance items I could do to prolong the life of the system. Didnt push any unnecessary products & spoke honestly about a long term plan.

    Jordan Rodriguez was a great technician. He was very receptive to the issues I communicated to him. He was clear from the beginning that he was knowledgeable in the system we had in our house. He was very thorough, he spent around 2 hours checking and testing that the system was functioning as intended. He communicated clearly what the issue was and showed me in the system tracking the cause of our issue. He also showed me different options on how to address it and gave me recommendations on how to better maintain my AC system. I will definitely be calling Firehouse again for any AC issues, as they were honest, thorough, and very responsive.

    Fardeen and Reuben came over early for a Saturday appointment to resolve an air conditioning issue (appointment was at 3-5pm, but they called when were able to come at 1pm - which was great!). After the inside checks were completed, I decided to go outside with them, and Fardeen rapidly diagnosed the issues and working with Reuben, shared the measurements and symptoms of the issues, replaced the marginally working capacitor that I had delayed replacing in the Spring (my bad move), installed a new component to reduce strain on the system during startup (overloading), corrected a leak and recharged the system, and even fixed a loud vibration caused by a loose screw that I could not hear inside the house, but Im sure the neighbors will appreciate.Fardeen and Reuben both had great attitudes, great service, and were very professional. They reflect well on Firehouse Heating and Air and themselves. Thank you so much for sending them over!BTW: The maintenance service from Firehouse Heating and Air was well worth the cost, provided priority service, and earned a discount on this work. I dont normally write reviews, but these guys were the best.

    Jordan Rodriguez (technician) did a superb job with my HVAC tune up. He was very thorough with checking the entire function of the AC system, did some cleaning and addressed my concerns regarding rooms not getting enough cooling and heating coverage.     Great group to work with!! My heater went out before a cold snap. From the minute I called Karen was trying to help me troubleshoot. She got someone out quickly. The gentleman that came out was professional and found a CO leak. He was able to fix everything to get me through the cold, they then replaced my entire system at a very reasonable cost. They gave me upfront pricing and options. I had an issue with the unit itself about a week later, they got a crew out immediately and found a manufacturing issue which they immediately repaired and followed up with a call by the owner to let me know they would take care of us. I was really impressed by this team. It felt like a real family team. I would highly recommend them.

    I will keep adding on to my reviews listed below. I still give 5 STARS to them.12-3-24. New review. Today I had my heater tune-up done. This time my tech was Ruben Perla and his helper James. I deleted the text with James last name. But he is the son of the owner Wesley.Both Ruben and James were very professional and nice. Ruben did the check of on my heater system and James checked house vents for CO gas. Firehouse Heating & Air have been my company now for many years. They installed my new system February 2021.Everyone from the ladies in the office down to installers and techs have always been great. I highly recommend them for your AC and Heater issues you might have. I have to call them a great company and honest. I am very old school and honesty goes a long way in my book. That is hard to find these days.I am now starting my 4th year with my New AC/Heater and just renewed my yearly maintenance with Firehouse Heating and Air. They installed my unit at the start of 2021. I had first met Matt SR. when he came out to service my going on 16-year AC unit in 2019Matt SR. was a really nice person and I always go with my gut when meeting someone. Matt and Wesley started Firehouse Heating and Air and our both Firemen. After Matt SR. stopped doing call outs his son Matt JR. serviced my old AC. I knew right away Matt JR was just like his dad and I always stick with a company I can trust and feel good about. I had Matt JR. install my New AC/Heater early 2021.Today 6-21-24 Fardeen Azizyar came out to service my AC. He was early and very professional. I enjoyed talking to him. The 2 young men who did the install were very professional and very well organized.They were here early 8:00 AM and went right to work. They had old system pulled and new system in by 1:00 PM.Matt Jr came by toward the end of install and made sure everything was good to go. Matt Sr. and Matt Jr. have always stayed and talked for while.I will continue to use them and will recommend them always.Great Company and great people. I met another one today too.     Fardeen, the Technician was exceptionally timely coming from a long distance, late in the evening when the HVAC system in my home clogged, leaking through the ceiling onto my leather sofa and flooding the LR floor when I was gone for a short while. I was completely overwhelmed but Fardeen was sincere, thorough, gave concise information and suggestions for avoiding future problems. His professionalism and compassion resolved the technical issue and resolved my emotional reaction to this sudden damaging event. I have been a customer of Firehouse Heating and Air and prior dealings were with the original owner Last visit was a few years ago, called them anyway. . Despite an ownership change FH & A maintains a stellar level of integrity and service performance.

    Firehouse Heating & Air came to our home to inspect the air conditioning. They found the system was leaking (as we suspected) and they provided pictures of the issues identified. They discussed a list of options available to us, and we decided to have a new furnace and air conditioning installed. They provided us with financing options which suited our ability to pay over time. The installation work was accomplished on schedule, in one day. They even checked in with us after the installation and made sure we knew how to work the new thermostat. Fantastic service, great value.

Even as a first-time customer (without priority status as a loyal customer), he came out the same day and stayed until well-over hours (after 10 pm) after he’s already had a long, hot day himself in heat indexes over 120. Thank you Jordan for diagnosing the problem quickly, working quietly around my resting children, explaining the issue and your services, driving an additional hour out of the way to pick up a part, and then working late into the evening to keep us in our home that night.     I couldn’t ask for more!!!Being that I was in hvac in most all of my career before retiring, I am very hard to please because I know what to look for most of the time.This is the first company/contractor that I have used since moving to Texas 8+ years ago that I am 100% pleased and satisfied. Bryan came to look over what we had to quote 2 replacement furnaces and air conditioners. It was expensive and I knew it would be but I feel Bryan was very professional and honest and didn’t try to sell me more than I needed or wanted. Then the installation crew came and they were actually 3 minutes early instead of late like most. The whole crew was so very friendly and respectful of not only our home but us also. Never did they show the slightest sign of annoyance when I would ask a question.The only thing I am upset about is that I didn’t find them sooner. I never knew how good an a/c could work. Thought my old ones were working ok but now I know they weren’t.I also had them install a UV light/electrostatic filter. My wife has issues with sinus problems and can smell any smells and is very hard to please because of that. The first thing she said when she walked into the house was the house smells so fresh. Wow!!!The last thing was the installation supervisor, before he left, looked over the install. One of the condensing units was about 1/2” off square with the house. With my OCD, I had already saw that but thought I would square it up after they left. Nope, he squared it up before I had a chance to.What’s really reassuring also is 100% of the problems with my old system that I knew were there, they mentioned and corrected with the new install before I even said anything.I was telling my daughter all of this and her comment was, if everyone only knew how hard it is for anyone to get this kind of praise from me. 🤣🤣Actually true though.So very professional!!!!Thank you to everyone involved!!!!Edit/Additional information. : just got our weekly energy usage notification. After only 2 weeks after installation, it looks like our energy bill has already dropped almost 50% with the 17.2 seer system that they installed. Even happier now.

    Firehouse was competitively priced on American Standard equipment, but also gave me pricing on other options. They came back for a thorough walk-through to make sure the initial plan covered everything. The installation team was on-time, finished within minutes of their estimated time and explained everything to me thoroughly. The office checked in to make sure everything went well and collected payment over the phone. I couldnt be happier and would recommend them to anyone.

    The first time interacting with Firehouse was great. There was a standard inspection to ensure everything was in working order and was somewhere between 85$-125$. This was in August of 2021.Last night (June 10, 2022) our AC stopped blowing cold air. I called them and they indicated they would come out between 3-5pm. The tech arrived within the window and was very informative and respectful. For the rest of this review.. please keep in mind that I truly feel the tech was amazing.After 5-10 minutes the tech had identified what the issue was. The capacitor was bad. After inquiring on the part he quoted me the price.. it was 830$!!!! Now lets break down this price.. 150$ to come out on the weekend. I found the most expensive 70/7.5 capacitor I could find on google for 125$ at home depot. Lets round that up to 200 - right.. gotta make a profit after all. They are ten miles out.. so 20 miles at current gas prices would be about 5$ but lets round up to 10$. Mileage at 1$ a mile.. 20$ there. Plus the labor.Now quick math here.. 150 + 200 + 30 = 380. Add labor in.. Guy was here for an hour.. Lets say 200$. Thats 580. But nope they charged us 830$.That being said.. I have never felt more ripped off in my life. Will never call this company again and I will tell everyone I know about my experience with them.******EDIT: I received a call from Firehouse shortly after posting this and they elaborated that there was a clerical error and the pricing was incorrect. As such I wanted to update my review as I am not MUCH happier with the price and services. Thanks firehouse!

    Happy customer. I use firehouse heating and air the first time based on previous customer reviews and I am happy that I did. Mark, the tech is very professional and patient explaining what he did while checking my AC. Mark spent a lot of time helping to unclog the drain pipes and did a great job adding some valve to simplify future tasks.     It’s September in Texas and temps were on the rise again to the upper 90s when my AC went out. I had used the same A/C company for years but now they have begun to transition to retirement and I was referred to Firehouse Heating and Air. I placed a call and the receptionist, Laura, was so friendly and polite. (1st impressions!). They worked me in right away. A technician named Eric (very nice and professional) came out and diagnosed/confirmed the problem that my attic unit was done and needed replaced. Within two days a crew was on the way out to perform the work. Matt, one of the owners came by a day earlier to discuss the plan. The thing I liked about Matt was he seemed to genuinely care about me and my situation. For me it’s all about trusting and believing that my best interests are in mind, whether it’s my personal doctor, my auto mechanic, etc. I want to feel like I’m dealing with family and that they’ll do their best work for me and treat me fairly. Well the work was completed quickly and efficiently, everything is up and running (and Cooling!), and later in the day after the work was done, the technician Eric and another of the owners, Wayne, came by to inspect the work and results. Wayne was great and he just confirmed that I had made a good choice in choosing Firechouse Heating and Air. I had a great experience and will definitely be calling these guys/girls again for any future a/c and heating needs.     Wayne installed our AC unit a few years ago and he worked very hard to get us the best price for a unit. He worked with us over our concerns of having vaulted ceilings and needing to go up just a little bit in size to be able to adequately cool our house. He worked very hard putting it in and in my opinion went the extra mile in customer service.This was the first year that I started to have any trouble with the unit cooling. I am a first time homeowner and was not taught the importance of doing seasonal maintenance on your AC. I use to think that it was just a way for people to spend money. However, I learned this year that it is a much needed service. We thought for sure that our condenser went out and that we were about to spend a ton of money to fix it. But Matt came out yesterday and spent hours cleaning our unit. It had dirt and grass and cotton wood cotton all over the outside that was keeping it from getting any air to the unit. Now that it has been cleaned it is running much better. And it didnt cost us the fortune we expected it to. They even sent another young man out today (who I forgot to get his name) to double check it and make sure it was still running well.I am very grateful for this company and its extraordinary customer service.     **BEST A/C REPAIR SERVICE EVER** FULL REVIEWI read the reviews before calling them, and thought, Wow, they seem too good to be true! However, they lived up to the hype. My service tech was named Wayne. I will be breaking this into categories for other readers.Convenience - Other service companies I have used in the past, set 4 hour windows, which made it hard to schedule around work or a lunch break. Wayne called me at 8 and set an appt with a 30 minute window, 1130-1200 and he was on time!Integrity - In a world where service techs and companies are constantly trying to up-sell, and fix things that arent broken, or back their way into fixing problems thereby replacing parts that werent broken. I was the most impressed with Firehouse. Wayne took less than 5 minutes to find the source of the problem and replaced only what was broken. He didnt push parts and service I didnt need and had the repair completed within 20 minutes!Professionalism - Wayne was courteous as service techs should be, but past that he was also exemplified kindness and humility. He was also, clean and professionally dressed.Budget / Pricing - I hit on this one a little in the integrity section, but felt the need to reaffirm. Pricing was fair and at no point did I feel dissatisfied. I got what I paid for. Labor parts, etc. were all reasonably priced.Overall - I will definitely use this company again.     This company does go above and beyond. They replaced a entire HVAC system and add extra air vents along with a new outtake for our bathroom. ( Witch with our original 1970s home air conditioning system I imagine it was a large task at hand.) They also came back to make sure that our system was working properly and did find that there was some issues with the self regulating system which they scheduled another appointment so that they could come out and fix the issues. Everyone that I have talked to or dealt with at Firehouse heating and air conditioning has been extremely helpful, respectful, and informative of all the needs and wants for our household. I wouldn’t recommend any other company to come into my home to be able to fix our heating and cooling problems.

They were the ONLY ones that would do a free estimate and the man who came out said it was nothing more than a kinked duct and would only cost a trip fee. He said it was am easy fix and didnt require much work. He was kind, patient, and very helpful! The 2nd time was a month later, we moved in 4 days ago, and the AC quit... 😣 I called and was told they couldnt be out until 6-7 that night. Having 2 little kids that go to bed at 7:30, that wouldve been very difficult. I agreed, but expressed that if they could make it work sooner, then please do. Not 15 minutes later, I get a call back from Kyndal (who is fabulous) saying she had someone become available and she is sending him over within an hour. He was there is 20 minutes! 🙌 He worked for over an hour and explained everything to me thoroughly. He showed me parts and gave me visuals of what wasnt working properly... he even cleaned up after he was done and did not overcharge me. I am so pleased with this company and I will not use anyone else! Thank you!

    We returned home from vacation on 6/20 to half of our house not cooling. I turned the unit that services that side of the house and went to bed. The next morning I turned the unit back on to see if the line set had frozen, and thawed. We still had nothing. I placed a call to Firehouse Heating and Air on 06/21 at 4pm. They had a technician at my home by 4:30. The tech that came out was Junior. He was very friendly, professional and experienced. He replaced the fan motor and was gone by 530pm.     Very impressive company. I thought about going with the HVAC company that I used last year since it was slightly cheaper. I am so glad that I didnt do that. More came with their inspection than the previous company.I work in a hospital. Some of the patients that I provide care to have Covid-19. So I was impressed when I opened the door and see the service technician wearing a mask, shoe covers, and social distancing. All employees are vaccinated.The tech was prompt and professional. He answered any questions that I had.I am very happy with their service and plan to enroll into their annual service plan.

    Called them out because AC stop working. Was very nice and helpful but I needed a new AC unit. The last one that was put in was done wrong and no other AC repair personal told us this. They even showed us the proof. Unit outside used 410 and inside was for a 210, this was what was causing the problem for years (incompatible). Had to get new unit inside and out. They will put it in later this week. I let you know how that goes but right now they are the best in the area for honesty plus great services. Thank you Firehouse.

    Firehouse A/C did a terrific job for me. I had to have both furnaces replaced. Wesley patiently talked me through all I needed to know. They then went the full mile to do things right and make sure I was satisfied. When time to use cooling I discovered it was not cooling properly. Firehouse quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for me under warranty. So far I am very satisfied. (I never give out a 5.)

    I have nothing but good things to say about Firehouse Heating and Air. They recently installed a new heat pump for me. Wayne and his crew were very professional, courteous, and friendly. They gave me the best price and financing that I could find. They even offered to repair a trim board around the bottom of the HVAC closet that was damaged by another HVAC worker from another company. When Wayne brought my paperwork the next day after installation, my front door was standing open ( I was not there at the time). Evidently I got distracted and forgot to close and lock it when I left. I asked him if he would mind looking inside to see if everything looked okay. He looked and everything seemed okay. He closed and locked the door for me. I’m so glad I didn’t have to come home to the house (after dark) and find the door open. These guys really go above and beyond the call of duty!
