    Our Heat pump was 17 years and needed replacing soon. I had no idea who I was going to use. I had done some research on specific brands of heat pumps and decided to go with a Carrier heat pump. An article I read said it was the best in reliability. So, I went to the Carrier website to find a specific model. Next, I found a local company who serviced them. Finally, I looked at the Better Business Bureau for some suggestions and came across EZ Air Conditioning and Heating. They have an A+ rating from BBB. I have to say they are a first rate company. From the manager, Johnathan Hernandez, who sold us the unit, to all the installers, and to the Service Technician, Larry Hennen, who oversaw the final setup of the system were very courteous and professional. Jonathan and Larry were up front with everything. What they said they were going to do, they did. I am glad I discovered them! I highly recommend this company (a local San Antonio business) for HVAC service and installation.

    EZ Air Conditioning and Heating saved our family. Our heat went out sometime during one of the coldest nights of the winter. I called EZ the next morning on the recommendation of Carrier Customer Service. They actually gave me several recommendations to choose from but EZ had the best ratings, which i found out why later in the afternoon. One of their techs, Manny, was dispatched to our home the same day of my initial call. Manny was professional, friendly, and kept me informed of everything he was doing. He was able to pinpoint the issue and had our heat up and running in no time. The cost of the same day service and resolution was surprisingly, and thankfully, affordable. This is my first home and my AC going out has always been a monetary fear of mine. After EZ, and especially Mannys visit, Im more at ease with the idea of something going wrong with my AC unit. I would definitely recommend calling EZ (and requesting Manny) if the need arises. Theres no one else I would call for AC help!

    After reading a bunch of reviews and research, Im glad we decided to go with EZ Air. They didnt try to sell us a new system on our first service call, like other companies. We bought the 3 year service plan after that first spring tune-up, because we trusted and value the opinions and level of service from Manuel. In fact, we request Manny (Manuel) any time we have a service call. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful, and with the service plan, we never wait long for our preferred service time. The prices for the small repairs needed have been more than reasonable.I have complete trust that EZ Air will keep our AC system in peak condition for the long haul.

    Emmanuel recently came for my quarterly service and found a condensate pump that was running continually. I had a problem with this unit in the past where the pan overflowed and destroyed the ceiling in the bedroom below. So, the good news is that we are using heat now not AC so this is not an immediate danger. However, its pretty clear that this pump would have burned itself out eventually and I would likely have had another flooding problem when the temperatures climb again. Anyway, I appreciate the way he identified the issue and then came with a pump to replace the defective one. The fees were very reasonable and he prevented what could have been a big and costly problem for me. Thanks EZ and Emmanuel - Im grateful for the great service!

    Installed a replacement system and was very pleased with the service. They also managed to install an extra ceiling vent in an impossibly tight space--something Ive asked several HVAC companies to do with negative responses. I cant stop enough about this--it makes all the difference for the temperature of this room. Will definitely be contacting them when we need our other system replaced.

    I had an AC emergency during the 100+ degree weather week. It was a late appointment, and our technician serviced our AC on the spot. He was professional, knowledgeable, genuine, and honest about everything. We were up and running in no time!I signed up for the maintenance service they offer twice a year. Within two weeks, another technician came out to perform maintenance. He showed me the pictures and explained everything in great detail.     Absolutely amazing company. I had issues with my condenser unit and was referred to this company by a co worker. I was apprehensive cause I didn’t want to spend thousands on a new unit.     Excellent! Decided to try them out via word of mouth. Was able to get same day appointment. The service tech (Robert Q.) was nice, courteous, thorough and quick! I asked if he wanted me to leave him be or stay around, and he was totally fine with either option! Charged a very fair price and fixed my issue quickly with my AC. Also wore blue shoe covers inside the house (definitely liked that as we dont wear shoes inside).In conclusion:-Quick-Didnt try to rip me off-Courteous & nice-Very fair pricingTook a few business cards to hand out to others. I dont see a need to go to some other more expensive highly advertised companies when this company did the job just perfectly.     EZ Air Conditioning and Heating is Top-Notch from start to finish! Enrique was excellent in inspecting our home and suggesting fixes to problem areas (one too hot, one too cold). We had very specific requirements that were met with a smile and a yes, we can do that. We wanted a Carrier Infinity product that they priced very competitively.The installation and commissioning crew were superb! Arrived on time, worked diligently, cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of the homeowner and any comments we had during installation. They went above and beyond to make this one-day install work.And the Carrier Infinity system, having had it before in South Carolina, is exactly what we were looking for. It is already learning our home, adjusting accordingly and maintaining temp and humidity levels perfectly! SOOO worth the extra dollars.All in all, we would highly recommend EZ Air Conditioning and Heating for installation of a new system. They handled all registration and rebates for our system and left us knowing how to operate what they installed. Cant wait to see their service in the coming years!!

Chris completed a total system walk thru and educated us on our new Carrier Infinity Greenspeed intelligence air system.In a competitive market, consumers have to do their research and select a company that is focused on relationships, not just price. We are very happy with our new A/C unit.Everyone from the owner, office manage to the install team, were great to work with, very professional & hard working group of people.     I’m excited to share my experience with EZ Air Conditioning and Heating off Eckhert Rd here in San Antonio. My 18 year old furnace started malfunctioning right before the cold snap we had. I got three estimates for a full replacement and didn’t realize how much attention to detail they provide until I dealt with other companies. They sent a very detailed estimate by email quoting Seer, Tonage, ERR, warranty, serial numbers etc. They also provided me an option of a Budget Model, Good, Better, and Best with all the information I needed to make a decision. This also assisted me in asking questions to the other two companies providing me quotes. The other companies appeared irritated and didn’t want to answer questions. EZ also informed me that the return register needed to be enlarged to allow the new units to properly breathe and function. EZ did a great job extending my existing return register 5” on each side. Their team is A1 and every concern I had was promptly tended too. They also did the rebate paperwork and registered my products for the 10 year warranty. (I would’ve had to do this on my own with other company ) I was given a complete folder with all paperwork and copies of registration. I strongly recommend you consider this company for your AC and heating needs.

    FINALLY.....A quality company that truly cares about their customers! Hands down the best customer service and installation I have experienced in a LONG time. EZ Air is highly recommended by Carrier as well. Just check Carriers website. Lately, it seems like companies are just trying to get your money, do the least amount of work, and run away with your money! NOT THIS COMPANY. From the first contact, they were professional and patiently answered all my questions. I had a LOT of questions. This was a huge investment. Jonathan, Mgr of Operations, ensured I had all my questions answered. Knowing all the AC and heating issues I had with my home with my 20yr old system, the owner got involved to make sure my install addressed all the issues. They were not happy until they knew that I was happy with my purchase and experience. I can happily say that I am over the moon happy. I am still waiting for South TX heat to hit, but so far, I am beyond satisfied and easily able to achieve a comfortable temperature with worrying if my unit will fail. Unit is whisper quiet at all times, and mega-powerful! It is also energy efficient. In regard to pricing, they were much cheaper than those other big-name companies that show up with their overly fancy electric trucks. You are crazy if you do not call EZ Air when shopping for a new system. A+, 5-star all the way!!!

    EZ Air Conditioning and Heating did a fantastic job with the replacement of my HVAC system, throughout the entire process, from sales and installation, to a follow-up quality control review. The crew who performed the installation (Marco, Jose, and third gentleman whose name I didnt get) worked as a team, were very respectful of my home, and performed the installation like true professionals. The proposal that Enrique shared with me was the most transparent and well outlined compared to three other proposals I had received from big-name contractors. The price was also very competitive. Chris also did a great job explaining how the system operates, registering the product for warranties, and helping me fill out the CPS rebates. Before I hired EZ I had a very negative experience with a big-name contractor in town who had completely botched the job. Thankfully I found EZ and will definitely reach out to them when the time comes to have my second unit replaced or serviced. Thank you all!

    The inverter on our carrier unit went out, so we called EZ to schedule an appointment. They were prompt in their scheduling and were able to come out a few hours after I had called. I wasnt home while the diagnostic was going on, but Manny kept in constant communication with me about the situation . Luckily, the part was in store so they were able to come out the next day for install. Pricing for part and labor was fair, so Chris came out the second day and everything was working great when he left, then about an hour later I noticed the thermostat was off. Called EZ and chris came back out 30 minutes later. He corrected the issue and educated us on features our thermostat had to offer, that we had no idea about. Will definitely use EZ again for any future problems! Thank you!

    I called EZ air conditioning when my original installer was unable to take care of my air conditioner when we had a problem. EZ air’s service call was reasonably priced, but they do not apply the service call fee to your bill. They did go out and check my system and found the problem that my original installer missed. They fixed it quickly and for very reasonable price. There was another issue with my AC though, so they sent out an expert tech (with no additional service call fee). He was very knowledgeable and thorough. All of the billing, invoicing, estimates, everything was digital and I really like that. We approved the estimate and are waiting to schedule the other repair. I was really satisfied with EZ air conditioning, felt confident in their diagnosis, and did not feel taken advantage of. We will definitely call them again, if necessary. Maybe even before we call our original installer.

    My outside condenser (compressor and fan) stopped working on Sunday evening and my regular AC company was closed. EZ Air Conditioning was able to get me onto the schedule Monday morning, way earlier than my regular AC company. I really appreciated this.The service technician named Larry is an expert troubleshooter. He quickly found the problem, fixed it, and my AC was back up and running in no time.     After 17 years my TRANE A/C began faltering and, ugh, time to replace an expensive appliance. I am very OCD when spending alot of money and picking contractors as I have had a few bad experiences in my 30 years of home ownership. I sought out 4 bids from 4 companies. They all want to come out and try and sale you on the spot. I only let one come out to get specs I needed etc. I called the other 3 and they reluctantly agreed to pricing over the phone and its at this point where you see a professional or a dud. EZ stood out, i received some very detailed proposals, but they were about 600.00 higher in price than the other, but after working with Jonathan Hernandez he agreed to drop the price to match a TRANE supplier vs Carrier from EZ Air. I researched the two brands, and they have many similarities and are both very high quality. I landed on the carrier with EZ. The unit was installed about 4 days later, they arrived on time the installation went very smooth, after the installers left, a quality control individual came by and he walked me through the thermostat features and went over the different installation components I should be aware of during ownership. All in all, EZ stood out over the other 4 companies, they returned phone calls on time and even returned calls after hours, in other words, made it easy, fast and friendly. They didnt waste my time and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. The G.M Jonathan Hernandez was super helpful. If you need a new AC, I personally think this is the place to do business with. Do your research but I spent about a week going through hundreds of reviews on companies as well as brand choice. EZ has zero complaints on the Better Business Bureau and have been in business 25 years. The are a solid, solid choice.

Price quoted was competitive but equipment used, Carrier, was superior to unknown brands and had a higher SEER rating. Installers arrived at scheduled time, were courteous and ensured carpet and furniture was not damaged. Installation proceeded without any surprises. All debris was removed after installation. Even after installation a QA technician arrived at my house to inspect work performed, ensured I knew how the system operated, assisted with rebate paperwork and addressed all questions I had.     There are a lot of crooked companies in town because they know the heat here is grueling and if someones A/C goes out they are desperate. This company is not one of those. They are honest and dont try and tell you that you need to spends thousands on a new unit when the fix is something simple. I have been very happy with them the few times I needed their help. Manny Perez came out today for a unit of mine that was not cooling properly and the solution was only new air filters that I had not changed in 6-7 years and a backed up drain pipe that was not draining properly. He was a real nice guy that provided great, honest service.

    My experience with EZ Air exceeded my expectations. I got 4 quotes and ultimately chose EZ- their equipment, prices and customer service blew the others out of the water.I worked closely with Enrique my consultant and Jonathan, the GM.     I contacted EZ Ac on the phone about my Carrier Infinity system not running. They were very responsive, scheduled an appointment time and Larry (service) showed up on time. After looking at my system which had had a high voltage short onto the low voltage system, and the age of the system, he gave me various options and explained each. I went with a changeout of my condenser option. Larry communicated with his sales office and I promptly received a quote back from Jonathan, with options, selected what I wanted, system was ordered and Jonathan communicated an appointment time for next day. Chris showed up with the equipment on time and brought help to install the condenser. He informed me that Larry would be also coming out to bring parts just in case the air handler was shorted. It wasn’t. The system was installed and they explained operation of smart thermostat thoroughly and we’re done with the install in about three hours. Everything was working and house was cooled down quickly. I would highly recommend EZ A/C for any of your climate control issues. Their service and communications are great.

    We called EZ Air to get a quote on a new heat pump unit. They sent out a representative to talk with us about it. He was courteous, friendly and answered all my questions. The quote was delivered to us in a timely manor. We received a courtesy call from Jonathan the service manager to check on us and see if we had everything we needed. He also took the time to ask if the unit was still cooling and why we needed a replacement. After hearing my story about our aged system he did something that no other company we called (we called 4). He offered a repair! To make a long story short EZ Air was more concerned with our comfort not making a sale! He sent out a tech who was equally as pleasant to repair our system. It’s working and cooling as expected! We do expect to have to replace the unit eventually but EZ Air bought us some time and when that time comes we will be calling them for a replacement.They have earned my business!!

    I called EZ Air Conditioning and Heating on a Friday around 1:00 pm, asking when they could schedule a visit to check my system. When the person who answered the phone discovered that my unit wasnt working, she was able to set up a visit for 3:30 pm the same day. Mr. Enrique came by a few minutes after 3:00 and went through the house, inspecting the unit inside, outside, and the attic. He took the time to explain problems with the ducts and how to solve them. He pointed out that the inflow was inadequate and explained that it needed to be increased for the new system to perform optimally.The next day, Jonathan called to ask if I received the quote they sent on Friday. I didnt, and he resends it. So on Monday, he called, and once we agreed on the price, the service was scheduled for Wednesday between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.The work crew was at my house by 8:10 am on the scheduled day.     EZ Repair is a company that I recommend 100% to my family and friends. Right when I had lost faith in AC companies EZ Air came through for me and my family. On 6/10/2022 Enrique Zuniga and Jonathan the (GM) worked together to get me out literally of the heated (100+ degree) situation I was in. Our AC system was 17 years old and had completely died on 6/8. We needed a whole new system, I called them Thursday night, had a scheduled appointment with Enrique at 9am the next day on Friday. The same day that Friday afternoon they had a quote and plan to come Saturday at 8am to install our AC and by noon our home was feeling much more better as the 100+ degrees weather was kicking in.     Excellent A/C company. Lived in our house almost 5 years. Had poor A/C and high humidity in what we thought was a brand new house. After 2 other companies failed to diagnose the problem, we had EZ A/C install whole home dehumidifier and new thermostat last year which helped a lot, but still felt the system wasnt running at 100%. Then we just had regular service performed with them and found out our ducts also werent properly sealed. Just got them sealed and everything works better than it ever has. Better solution than the other companies that wanted to sell me a whole new system. Highly recommend EZ.

    I am extremely pleased with the service I was provided. I actually had a different company come check my AC unit to diagnose the problem and give me a quote. I felt the quote was a bit high, and I had EZ Air Conditioning come for a 2nd opinion.     UPDATE: Immediately after I posted this review I got a call from a supervisor. He apologized profusely and quickly dispatched someone to resolve the issue. While Im glad everything is fixed up, its still disappointing that I have to weaponize a google review just to get some basic customer service.Original Review:Im having. a very frustrating experience with this company. They installed a system in my house 5 years ago, and they never glued the pcv drain lines together under the house. They just dry fit them, but forgot the glue. One of them came disconnected and was leaking water under my house for....years, perhaps? I have no idea.They sent a tech out to do a repair, but he only glued one of the four. Then they sent me a bill for the work! I already paid $10k for the original installation, which was never properly completed.I called in to the office and kindly explained that there was no way I was going to pay for the work, because I had already paid for it when I paid for the original installation. They said a manager would call me back....still waiting for that call a month later.Now I have 3 pvc drain lines, just waiting to separate and leak water under my house, and their office just emailed me the bill again. What a hassle....

    I rarely post reviews but I had to give kudos to the folks at EZ A/C. We first became acquainted with the company when we had problems with one of our A/C units. It was supposed to be under warranty but no one in town would honor it. These guys helped us keep that system running so when it was time for a new air conditioner they were at the top of my list.These days it seems like finding a service company that you can depend on can be quite a challenge but EZ A/C is awesome! The level of service they provided was outstanding, from the initial call to schedule an appointment to the clean-up after the installation was completed. Also, the prices are very competitive. I would highly recommend EZ to my family, friends, or anyone else looking for a great HVAC company.

    Found EZ Air through a google search for AC companies in the area. What a find! Heat not working after coming back in town. Though not an emergency, when i called for a service call appointment. They were able to come right away (within the hour). The service rep, Jaime, was courteous and considerate. Im grateful when they use the shoe covers. Rep found the issue quickly. Reviewed the problem and explained the remedy. The service cost was reasonable and affordable. You always cross your fingers at these times. EZ gets extra marks for value and quality for the money.     The EZ team was very professional, polite, and competent. In spite of supply chain issues plaguing the industry, I only had to wait a few days after signing the contract until they were right on time to install the system. They installed a complete HVAC system and even provided some extra services that were not charged, such as a new in furnace filter and cleaning and adjusting register vents. To top it off they were the low bidder among a group of excellent competitors.

    It is never good for your AC to stop providing you cool air in San Antonio during the month of July. Thursday evening on July 13th our AC stopped cooling the house, and In the morning I was in need of a company to find and fix the issue. I called another company first who scheduled me for a late afternoon appointment which was going to be brutal to last ALL day with no cool AC in 100 degree temperatures.A friend of ours suggested we give EZ Air Conditioning and Heating a call. They schedule me for an appointment between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. which was hours before the other company, so I said yes to their appointment. I received a call from James Lara, the service technician assigned to the job letting me know he was headed to the house. He arrived at 10:15 and asked what I noticed and what sounds I had heard when I first noticed no more cold air.James Lara quickly started to work on the issue and determined that the motor, blower, and condenser were all still in good shape. He found out that the furnace circuit board was bad. The little furnace board was not allowing the blower to come on which prevented us from getting some cold air. He was able to get us some cold air for the day and weekend by giving us a temporary fix until a new furnace board was found and ordered. James got us some cold air before the other appointment time that I had with the other company which allowed us to continue with our plans for the day and the weekend.James ordered us a new furnace board. He was able to come back to our house on July 18th, and he replaced the circuit board in 40 minutes. He made sure it blew cold air and that it converted to heat as well to avoid issues in the winter months. To me that was going above and beyond by thinking about the heater months down the road. Way to go James!So if you need some good service for your AC or heater then call EZ Air Conditioning and Heating. They will get you back up and running in no time. They will now be my HVAC provider going forward.

    EZ Air Conditioning and Heating has worked for me for the past 9 years. I continue to use them because they have been so competent, dependable and willing to go the extra mile to help me with my system needs. I think they have been the best of any air conditioner company that I have ever worked with. As a result, I had Mr. Enrique install two new Carrier Infinity systems. He did Manual J calculations to properly size the systems and offered me several models for my selection. I did a fair amount of research on my own; so, I had a lot of questions about each system. Mr. Enrique was extremely knowledgeable and explained all the details that I requested. . Another thing that was especially helpful was that he answered all my questions in writing. That way, I had those notes to refer to as we progressed toward deciding which systems to have installed. His whole team was very cooperative, helpful, professional and respectful.     This is NOW my 4th or 5th time that EZ has been to my house. Each time, its been for something different. EVERY time, they arrived ON TIME, usually the DAY I called and were ALWAYS so professional!! I have always felt their prices were fair, their work was completed and my AC worked even better than before. I am SUPER SUPER pleased with this company!! I would recommend them to anyone!!Today, I wanted to give big Kudos to Robert Quintanilla, the service rep that was sent out. First of all, he was on time, super professional and I explained that I had dogs (labradors) and they were outside. I would just swap them from inside to outside, based on where he was working.     This has been my first experience dealing with AC issues and at first it was not going good at all having dealt with another group before putting my trust into EZ. From the moment I called and getting the best customer service while setting up an appointment to having Jaime (technician) arriving earlier then the given time frame. Jaime was very informative and helpful and went above and beyond to help us with our issues and questions and made sure we were aware of the process and time frame of how things would progress. We received our proposals from the manager Mr. Hernandez and he made sure to go over every detail and option that would fit our budget for our family, he made sure we felt comfortable and knowledgeable before making our choice and even made sure to assist us with any financial questions or concerns. Mr. Hernandez even scheduled a technician to come out and install a portable AC unit for our kids to feel comfortable until our scheduled unit would be installed 2 days later. And when the install technician Gerardo and his partner came out to install they were also so helpful and courteous and went over all the details and made sure before leaving that I had not questions or concerns. This experience that was so horrible in the beginning was later made to be such an amazing experience because of EZ and the employees making my husband and family feeling like we mattered and not alone in a situation that this TExas heat makes very unbearable.     I love to write positive reviews about companies that provide honest, professional and quality service and thats what makes this one especially meaningful and well deserved. Since my wife and I originally purchased our home in 1990, weve had nothing but problems with the system and those companies that came out for repair or replacement until now. I wish we had found you all much sooner but better late, than never, right? Anyway, we had a system that was working but as it current stood, would fail at any time. This unrelenting heat was just taxing the system and we were expecting the fan motor in particular to fail. We had another company come out and they concluded that the replacement fan would cost over $2000, and that the compressor was on its last legs, and it was just a better decision to replace the whole system at a cost of between $12K-$18. Ok, time for a second opinion but who? As luck would have it, a few days later my dads system shut down. My out of state brother did some online research and found EZ Air. They quickly responded and got my dads system up and running and at a very reasonable cost. They were honest, professional and according to my dad who will tell you he knows a thing or two about HVAC, they knew what they were doing, and that the technician that came out knows his stuff, James Lara. After that positive experience, we had them come out and give us an estimate. Again, James came out and we gave him a run down of what the other company said and let him do his own diagnostic and system analysis. My wife gave him a history of the previous work and upon hearing this, he said he would check to see if the fan motor would still be covered under the manufacturers warranty. Sure enough, it was. His recommended course of action was replacement under warranty for the fan and a new capacitor that seemed to be underperforming and would provide a level of confidence that it would not be a failure point during this heat. All we would have to do is cover the labor for each and the cost of the capacitor, and we should be good for the foreseeable future. We understand that the system is not new and potentially might need replacement in the near future and if it does, we are confident that EZ Air will be the team that gets the work. Thanks again James and EZ Air team! You all were able to not only meet our expectations but exceed them and that we cannot say has ever been our experience since becoming homeowners way back in 1991.

    Jonathan and his team are excellent at what they do! They facilitated the entire process and made it easy and stress-free. They were concerned with my partners breathing condition and wanted to make sure he was comfortable.     I definitely recommend EZ. My air went out in 100+ degree weather. I called two companies from TV ads. Long story short both gave different stories but said I needed new central air units from 7-10K. A woman in 100 degree heat they thought I would jump.. I didnt. Friend had used EZ and suggested I contact them before deciding.Jesus came out listened to what I reported. Checked and saw no current to thermostat, went outside and saw issue there and went up in hot hot attic for a good 10 minutes and confirmed there was no Freon leak that previous guy heard.He and Chris did all needed repair and literally saved me thousands of dollars. I waited six weeks before submitting this evaluation to be sure I was happy.They are in the repair/service business. When my unit eventually does need replacement you know where I will go...honest and totally professional.

    The service was great! Gerardo A. did an amazing job at repairing my AC, turns out the part that was needed is on back order until end of October, he went above and beyond to find a temporary solution that would not leave us stranded with no AC during the summer, and I am so grateful for that. They did an excellent job from diagnosing exactly why the old unit stopped working and what new system would solve my AC and heating requirements. Chris and Larry are excellent Carrier exerts and were able to diagnose why the old unit failed after the freeze in February 2021.     Having Served almost 36 years in the military (and still serving) these folks have been our go to HVAC company. We first bought our home in San Antonio back in 2012, we had some A/C issues and the first company that came out wanted us to buy a whole new system. I called EZ Air for a second opinion and they were able to repair it on the spot at very minimal cost. So fast forward to now (June 2020) I am currently deployed and had to do everything by cell phone. Our A/C had gone out and once again EZ came out and got it repaired. Still they did not pressure me to buy a new system (the system was installed in 2003), it was me who thought, boy this system might need to be changed out! So I initiated the request for a new system. Gerardo was our repair person and the person who gathered all the pertinant information to help get the estimates for the new system, he did a great job and was very professional. Jonathan helped me figure out the best options along with payment choices over the phone, he even waited an extra day before billing me to make sure everything was working! These guys are fantastic! Enrique, is the owner and I spoke to him back in 2012 to thank him for the quick service and the professionalism of his employees, at that time I told him when it was time to get a new HVAC, they would be the first to know. And guess what, they were the first to know! Thanks so much everything and we will be heading back to San Antonio in about 1 year to retire and I know our system will be working great thanks to the EZ Team!     What a WONDERFUL business. I will use them for all my AC needs 10/10!! First time home buyer and new to San Antonio. Call them they make you feel like family!!I recently moved to San Antonio from a different city in Texas. We are not familiar with the area so we got a home warranty. Unfortunately our 2016 carrier unit went out and it took home warranty 4 day to come out and diagnose the issue. They said it would take another week for them to possibly repair it. My house was 99 degrees!!!I sent an email to EZ AC after hours and Rozalinda reached out to me and helped me every step of the way. He had his team there first thing Monday morning to do the work and save us from this Texas heat.     My 20 yr old AC finally kicked the bucket a few weeks ago and I was forced to shop around for a replacement among the many AC companies that San Antonio has to offer. After some research, I narrowed down my choices to EZ Air Conditioning, Goettl, and WillFixIt. Long story short, we chose EZ, for multiple reasons.First of all, I liked that the technician they sent out to my house, Larry, knew what he was talking about and was not afraid to give his own honest opinion on my options. He also didn’t hesitate to go into technical details and help me understand why certain options were better than others. I strongly considered compressor replacement but decided against it due to the systems age (20yrs for the external unit and 30yrs for the internal).Another reason we chose EZ is that their GM, Jonathan, was a pleasure to talk with and honest. He always kept himself accessible and remained respectful (in contrast to the Goettl salesman, who was flat out condescending at times).I also appreciated how Johnathan took the time to patiently listen to my many questions and answer them without talking down to me. He was great about explaining the “why” behind their options. More than the other companies, Johnathan was able to instill a sense of confidence that they could do the job correctly and that they would stand by their work quality.During the AC install, EZ technicians discovered that our ducts were in rough shape. They were deteriorating, leaking air into the attic, and leaking water onto our insulation via condensation (the ducts were also well over 20yrs old). They would essentially break apart if you touched them (I tested this personally). This lead to them resolving another issue regarding temperature control in our 2 story house. The ducts leading into our master bedroom had not been correctly installed (someone decided to splice one duct directly into another using duct tape, hope, and a budget of $2). EZ replaced the ducts and added a triangle vent box to correctly split them. This made a near immediate difference for our bedroom and was done at a very reasonable price.Overall opinion of EZ Air Conditioning:I never got the impression that EZ AC was pushy. They presented me with all of my options and let me decide. They also remained honest, respectful, and open throughout the entire process. Of the 3 companies I spoke with, I feel that I can trust them most to provide support to my AC now and in the future (at a fair price).Extra Comment:In case some are wondering, if they can’t get your system installed right away (COVID related supply issues), they will lend you portable AC units to tide you over until the install day.

    This is my first time using EZ AC and I am very impressed. Starting with the initial call to the customer service representative to the service representative who came out to repair my AC; they were VERY PROFESSIONAL. The service rep called 30 minutes prior to his arrival; upon his arrival he immediately diagnosed and repaired the problem. I highly recommend EZ AC to anyone who are looking for AC service. We will be using them again.

    We bought our home in 2019 and had an older system and wanted to get a higher SEER system. We got quotes from 8-9 companies and went with the middle priced company, which was E-Z Air. EZ air provided us with a great discount for being military and allowed us to use CPS rebates towards the unit itself. We even installed an air filter system. We purchased a maintenance plan and they have been on top of seasonal check-up for the past couples years since our new Carrier System was installed in 2019.

    Our ac stopped working and didnt know who to call so I went ahead and started asking for to see who would give me an estimate and EZ was the first to reach out to me first thing in the morning. They went to my house, fixed it, and now have my AC working again all on the same day. Also they are very affordable! I will definitely call them if I ever have any other ac issues. Thanks!

    We had the misfortune of having both our a/c units break down simultaneously in July during a heat wave. After dealing with a couple of other a/c repair companies, we settled on EZ Air (largely based on the ratings here), and we made the right choice. In short, they are responsive, honest and professional. They did an outstanding job replacing one unit and repairing the other. Highly recommend!

    This company is the best company I have had experience with in a long time. They put their customers first. Jame was an awesome technician. He explained everything to me. He made sure everything was done properly. He answered all of my questions, and I had a lot. I have never had to deal with the house maintenance until recently.Then after Jame left, the general manager Mr. Hernandez followed up with me and informed me about their maintenance plan. I was never pressured which means a lot to me. It is very important to keep up with AC maintenance in south Texas. It is hot here! The HVAC system was just replaced, and I want it to run smoothly and keep me cool.

    We highly recommend EZ Air and Heat! Enrique Zuniga was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and he did not try to provide us anything we did not need. Enrique was here with his crew through out the installation and made sure we knew exactly was was being done and he took the time to show us how to operate our equipment. They were on time and everything that was said would be done was done. I was really impressed by how clean they kept the worksite and they used tarps throughout our home to ensure our flooring was protected. They are experts and certified carrier installers and are bonded and insured. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

    Enrique from ez conditioners came took a look at our home and pointed out some pointer to cool our home better ( it worked my home is cooler ) No pressure in selling us a ductless sytem that my husband wanted he said we really did not need one but with Texas weather coming that room gets pretty warm when its in the 100. They sent us the proposal but husband still wanted the ductless.anyways.

    Enrique came out quickly, wore a mask and booties inside the house, was very professional and knowledgeable about Carrier products, and answered all of my questions with patience.     These guys are amazing!!! I cannot express how awesome and professional they are! They took all day to install an entire new unit and it was 122 degrees in my attic! They rock and I cannot express how thankful I am they came to my rescue!     Started searching for HVAC replacement 4 years ago. Had plenty of companies trying to sell me the highest and most expensive unit. All estimates were above $12K. Almost went with another company but decided to give EZ a chance since they are highly rated by Carrier, BBB, and Google. Glad I did! Enrique Zuñiga gave me multiple choices without pressuring me into a decision. He even went over details that no other company had during my 4-year research. I ended up getting a 5 stage 4 Ton unit at a lower price than the “basic” units from other vendors selling Carrier. Lennox and Train are great, but this is a better unit and cost less. Technicians were very professional and at the end of the day, everything was clean.

    I had my ducts completely replaced, they were 30 plus years old and falling apart. They came in and did most of the work in one day, they worked really hard and were tired, I felt bad bc I know its hard work and they were very polite the whole time. We had to schedule a second meeting bc two ducts collapsed inside the floor of my loft upstairs and the floor needed to be opened up for access to the collapsed ducts, they came in again and finished the job off and I walked with the gentleman and he showed me first hand how everything was flowing through the house like it was supposed to. Its an older home and the job was tricky but they did a wonderful job, I definitely will follow up with this company for routine maintenance forward
