We had gotten the name of Electrician on Call from a friend of ours. I am so glad I asked as the entire process was great.First, setting up the appointment was great. Ally (the only person we spoke with from the office) always picks up the phone quickly and we were never put on hold. I told Ally what we needed and she helped us get her the necessary information (a few uploaded photos as to where some of the work needed to be done). She immediately contacted me back to schedule an appointment, and was very patient as my wife and I went back and forth on dates and times we would be available. Almost immediately after we scheduled a time/date I received a confirmation email followed by a very detailed invoice of the work to be done (find out why an outlet wasnt getting power / replace three receptacles / install an outlet on our back porch) and the per unit cost.The day of the work - We had been provided a two-hour window for when we could expect the workmen (they sent 2, and I which I remembered their names so I could praise them individually), and they got to the house within the two-hour window (just barely, but they were on time). We gave the workmen a tour of the work that needed to be done and they got right to work. They were shockingly efficient and were done with all three projects in well less than an hour.I would not hesitate for a second to use them again, and they are now on our referral chain.ADDENDUM - When the bar-light in our laundry room suddenly stopped working based on our past experience with EOC, there was only one place to turn. Ally was on it and asked us to send pics of the location as well as the new light we had purchased. She got us a quote late on Thursday night and we were able to get an appointment on Friday afternoon. Late on Friday afternoon, I contacted Ally to see when the electrician would be coming. She informed me that the electrician had come and gone. He had rung the doorbell and, when nobody came to the door, he left his card. I was shocked as our dogs generally bark like mad when anyone comes near the door, and we had three adults at the house all afternoon. but when my wife when to the door, sure enough, there was the card. However, all was not lost. Rather than having us reschedule, Ally had the electrician return after another call, and in no time, light on, wife happy.Again, if you live anywhere in North Dallas, there is only one place to turn to for all your electrical needs; Electricians on Call.

Very happy with the service David just provided. I had replaced some old switches that had yellowed over the years (the main reason is that one of them stopped working altogether) but after I did my DIY is when the lights stopped working as it should. I figured I had mis-wired something or knocked something loose. And thats the reason why I decided to call the professionals. David showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it likety split. I made a mistake with one of the switch replacements, but instead of teasing or shaming for my mistake he taught a little more about home electrical wiring. He was very friendly and very professional. I was worried that this job was going to be a can of worms where I was going to try to get upsold, but that couldnt have been further from what happened. I will be calling on EOC again for my future home electrical needs!

Ally R. And Dave from Electrician On Call are a great team! Ally makes sure Dave get the information needed to get your issue(s) resolved. She keeps you informed as to when and where the technician is and his arrival time. You dont have to stay around your home waiting, because of the not knowing. Dave is here at the allotted time or maybe just a few minutes past the time.They are definitely my go to when I have issues with my unit. They both are very professional. What a great team!!!!!! I will and have used them for my unit needs for years. Dave explains the issue to you so that you can have an understanding of the problem. Ally is knowledgeable and gives you information that could be helpful. They go above and beyond. They care about you and get the issue resolved in a timely manner. Dave is amazing. We called because a trade professional told us we had a bad breaker. Dave arrived at the exact time he said he would arrive, diagnosed the problem (which wasnt the breaker) within minutes and had the issue repaired very soon after. He obviously has a world of knowledge and experience, but he also is utterly patient and took time to explain the issue with me in terms that were great for someone like me who doesnt know much about electricity. All this was done at a price less than other estimates I got. I couldnt be happier with this service.

David and Tony were super knowledgeable! The overall quote was cheaper than 3 other places I consulted with (free consultation was a huge plus). They finished the work with great workmanship and minimal incisions to the wall/ceiling so that I don’t have to call over a handyman to patch the walls asap! Received a consultation for dining room chandelier, burying wires behind tv (different studs), and install new wiring in patio for two fans & a TV as well as installing the said fans and TV. Overall job was done in less than a 3 week time frame which only took longer since I had to wait for my fans and chandeliers to arrive.

Man I love these guys. David came out to install some under cabinet lights and did a fantastic job. While he was here I commented that the downstairs AC was having a hard time keeping up in the afternoons. He said he would look into it when e was done with the lights. Seems he does it all! He went out and quickly found a dead capacitor, replaced it and fixed the problem. All that and he is one really nice guy. Great folks, great company.

We just had an interlock switch installed for our generator by Electrician on Call (EOC) and it was the best experience we have had with any professional. David also took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all our questions, tested the generator and showed us how to properly operate the switch with the generator. We also had another issue with a couple outlets in the house not working properly and David fixed that too. I will absolutely call EOC in the future and recommend them to everyone I know. I called Electrician On Call this morning. Dave provided excellent service with fast response and friendly attitude. After I described what happened to my room, he directly pointed out the culprit mostly is the main breaker under the power meter, and thats it! Since the main breaker (including the box) is very old and dis-manufactured, I preferred to replace the whole box. Dave finished this work quickly and charged me for a reasonable price. He worked on Saturday! And waived me more than HUNDRED Dollars! Thanks, David!

This time, our HVAC system had been out of service for a year during remodeling and our thermostat became inoperable. It would work sporadically and then shut off. Dave traced the issue to a broken wire making an intermittent contact in less than 20-minutes, so all we had to pay was the diagnostic fee!

Where do I start! Dave is AMAZING! To make a long story short - I came home yesterday to random areas of our home not working - AC, Hot Water, Lights, etc... It was after hours, so I found a local Electric company who would come out after hours. They said we needed 3 new electrical panels due to a lightening strike and it would cost $12,000. The last storm that came through was 2 weeks ago and I did not know we had a strike. I was feeling very uncomfortable and told them I wanted to get a second opinion. I searched for a Master Electrician in the area and found Electrician on Call. The lady who answered the phone was very caring, knowledgeable and helpful. It might be Daves wife, Im not sure, but she was awesome and managed to get Dave out to our home today. In no time he found the problem. Due to age, not a lightening strike, we needed 4 new breakers and my final bill was only $351.00! That is a huge difference from $12,000! They charged $95 to disconnect a wire in the attic which took them about 5 minutes to do. I think they should look at a job first before quoting prices. For a replacement ceiling fan installation and disconnecting a wire was over $300 and they were at my house less than 45 minutes. That’s about $400 an hour for labor charges!!!!

Ive used the Electrician On Call for several years. I always see the same technician. He is really good. The works he had done perfectly. This time, he replaced my ceiling fan. My ceiling is 22 feet tall with a 6 feet down rod. He climbed all the way up to the ceiling to remove the whole unit with the rod. Lower all down with help from his partner. They installed the new fan when everything was on the ground ( I think its very efficient). Then, they raised the whole unit up, tied the screws. It took them less than an hour. Everything looked very professional and very clean.My new fan is 72 inch (quite large). I think it was a difficult task, but he made everything looked so easy.Highly recommended.

David is a master electrician and all his men are journeymen. Obdulio, who did our particular work, has been with the company for many years. I have a 1950s home which can be tricky if you dont know what youre doing. Having the peace of mind that the job was done correctly puts me at ease.

So grateful that Electrician On Call was able to put my home on todays schedule! David arrived, masked, with crew and ensured that everything was correct for installation; the guys were pleasant, professional, and kept distance; David called after completion and will be here Monday to inspect. Company has done several jobs for me, including replacement of Federated breaker panel that could have been a fire hazard.Honest, knowledgeable, no hard sell/upsell ... again, I HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the DFW Metroplex.

She was able to schedule thet repair that day but I wasnt available so they came the next day. Ally called to let me know David was on his way. Initially an electrician had came out and advised me of the problem and told me that I would need to get someone else to get the problem solved. The second gentleman came and stated what was needed to rectify the problem. He never returned nor did I hear back from him or the company. I finally got in touch with Electrician On Call that set up an appointment for a tech to come out. Dave came and took care of the problem within less than 30 minutes. He was very professional and detail oriented. I would advise (everyone) to use his services.

We used Electrician on Call to help us with an electrical mystery that popped up after the 2021 snowpocalypse.We had mysteriously lost power to a few spots and the obvious things did not fix it.Dave came out and tracked it down to a hidden subpanel on the other side of the house!When all was said and done, we only needed to throw a breaker in the subpanel (that we didnt know existed) and we were back up and running.This is exactly the kind of job where a master electrician shines and Dave did just that.Dave also helped us with installation of some Nest gear, a surge protector, and HVAC tune-ups.Very happy with the service and will definitely call them for our future electrical needs.

Weve had Electricians on Call out to the house several times since we bought the house in 2016. They have always treated us right and done very good work. We had them add new dedicated outlets in several places in the house because we created a home office, updated our master bathroom and added a freezer and a second refrigerator. They added a whole house surge protection. And we just had them come out and fix some old outlets and switches and remove a light fixture where I want to put in cabinets. The house is 40 years old and they have helped us update the electrical system to meet todays needs.

I am very happy that I chose the right electrician to help me out. There are so many listed on the internet. I just couldnt not call based on all of the positive reviews I read. I had just days ago purchased my 2nd home . My dryer wasnt working after I washed a load of clothes. I called on a Sunday hoping to get help. Dave returned my call and advised that if I could wait till Monday he would come out, no problem it wasnt a true emergency and waiting would save me from an emergency charge. I advised Dave the mover hooked up my dryer . When I detailed that the dryer did come on but a spark was seen. He asked me the year of my home and felt that it may not have been hooked up correctly and gave me an estimate. When he arrived within the time frame we discussed the day before he was wearing shoe covers which I liked. He found that his guess was accurate and I paid the estimated price given. If in the future I need any other help from an electrican I will not hesitate to call electrician on call. Superb customer service from a fellow Navy veteran.

I recently contacted Electrician On Call to install a couple can lights, new outlet, and drop a power line for a light fixture. The technician, Altuvio(I believe?), showed up on time and worked very quickly. He completed all of the work in just a couple hours, which blew my mind. The previous electrician who worked on our house took hours just to complete one of those tasks. All of the work done by EOC worked great and the price was reasonable. I will use them again.

I was sooo thankful that Dave answered my call at 9pm on a Wednesday night. He was able to grab the part I needed from a photo I texted him of my breaker that needed replaced and was out to change it and get my power back on all within 1.5 hrs of getting my call, and at a very reasonable price. I had called another electrician requesting emergency service that night who was highly rated and didn’t hear back until the next day to schedule a time for them to come check out the problem.
