Wes with Efficient was super patient with listening to my project needs and working with me to accomplish installing a Heat Pump water heater. But after further discussion, we suggested a Navien Tankless Propane water heater that has been fantastic since installation. Wes did a superb installation job. I had a bit a trouble with Navilink setup but that was from inaccurate setup manual information. I plan to use Efficient again for future plumbing work.

This was the first time I used Efficient. My hot water tank had a slow leak, I called at night and scheduled their visit for the next morning. Their plumber, Mike, was very polite and professional, explained what caused the problem, what he had to do and resolved it. He also took on an additional job of replacing shower cartridges. Their fees were fair. I am very satisfied with their services

Efficient is amazing! Highly recommend. The motor of my inside unit died (of course, in the middle of August in Texas). These guys walked me through all the options, no pressure on choice, and were able to come in and install a new system 3 days later. There were issues with the electrical wiring at the end of the day of installation, the team stayed until 8.30 pm trying to figure it out. They came back first thing the following morning with a different part and had the system up and running by noon. The new system is great - way quieter and much more efficient than the previous one and it keeps the house at a consistent temperature. It also manages humidity impressively well. I want to point out for those doing online research before they pick a provider that this company does not advertise and consequently their price points are notably better than other area competitors. Super happy with the service, the process, and the quality of the product.

The bright recessed lighting John suggested made a huge difference and I’m sorry we didn’t make the change sooner. In addition, John tackled a pesky light panel that we were having issues with and he found the culprit was the outlet below. It was all connected, so fixing that solved our panel problem. UPDATE: 6/2022 These guys - Nick and Evan - straight up heroes!! Our 20+ year old upstairs AC unit finally quit at the beginning of this horrendous heat wave, and these guys came out and crawled up into our tiny attic, got the big old unit out, installed the new unit and furnace when it was already 98° and got it done in one day. They were courteous and efficient and saved our lives 🥵We have had the best service from Efficient. We have called on them over the past 10 years and have been lucky enough to work with Ernest Rodriguez, who has been with the company for 13 years and is a true gem. They are very responsive, professional, honest and get the job done without charging an arm and a leg.

We were having issues with the hot water heater as well as some bathroom fixtures. Our appointment was scheduled promptly and Weston was knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. He communicated very effectively about what was causing the issues, and what the solutions were, and resolved the issues as quickly as possible making it a priority to prevent us from being without our shower! This is why we always call Efficient for both our plumbing and our AC needs.

Our air conditioner issued an error message to my phone around 3am on 6/8/2024. I called the emergency phone number, who took my information and said a service tech would call me. Ross called me, discussed the situation and provided an estimate of when he would arrive based on other emergency jobs he was assiged. He called with updates to his ETA, arrived on schedule and detemined an inverter board needed to be replaced under warranty. Unfortunately, the parts house would not open until Monday, 6/10/2024. Given that we were expecting 100+ temps, we asked if we could pay an expedite fee to get the part shipped earlier. Ross said he didnt think so, but would check. While enroute to his nexr job, he coordinated after hours access to a parts house in the Austin area. He called to get our approval for the added fee. We approved given that the fee was less than the hotel fees we were looking at to escape the heat. Ross kept us informed of his ETA with the new Inverter. He arrived on schedule and replaced the inverter quickly. The air conditioner started working.We are very appreciative of Ross wllingness to go above and beyond to acquire and install a new inverter board. If you need emergency service on your AC in the Texas heat, Efficient AC is a great choice.

These guys are awesome! Eli, Oscar and Daniel had to replace our entire Heating and cooling system. They were here right on time and did not stop until finished, which was actually much sooner than I expected. They were very professional , diligent and respectful. Our new AC just about froze us last night and it was great. Incredible job guys, Thanks again. Well, this is ironic. Apparently I didnt hit send on this post and here I am 3 days later and my attic stairs are still not installed. I called the company Saturday (a day after my AC was installed) and the after hours phone service took my message and nobody called me. It wasnt an emergency, I understand. I called today (Monday) and got passed off to 3 different people (and actually got a bit of attitude like there were actually emergencies that needed to be got to first. Since they couldnt get to me for a week to replace my AC, it doesnt seemlikethey take emergencies all that seriousin the firstplace) and then was told it will happen sometime. Unfortunately Im a renter and really dont still much say and I thank the landlordalreadypaid so who know what will happen now. I still stand by the comments I made about the crew that came out and did the job, but Im not sure about the the rest of the company. If you get Eli or Oscar theyll do a great job. Just dont pay the bill till its finished. So at this time El, Oscar and Daniel without a doubt earned 5 stars, I sure wouldnt give the rest of the company that.

We are very happy with the level of service provided. We have had two ac units (upstairs & downstairs) completely replaced over the last couple of years. Both times we experienced exceptional customer service. Efficient has always done their best to patch and repair our systems when needed. We never felt pressure to do more work than was necessary so when the time came to finally do a full system replacement, choosing them was an easy call. Everyone we have interacted with there has been courteous and professional.

I would like to commend Mario and Rylie, who just installed a Leaf Guard and were very friendly and helpful. Also want to commend Ross, who has come several times for minor issues. Ross is also very helpful and I have learned a lot from him. I recommend this company, specially if you want peace of mind.

Overall Im giving a 4 star review. And Ill try to be quick without all the details. The salesman gave me an honest accesment on exactly what I needed. I still think it was too expensive after getting 3 different quotes. But this one was the best. My unit was installed in the same day I was quoted which was great. Problem came when the unit stopped working because the drip pan sensor shut down the unit 20 hours after the installation. There was to much water in the pan. Thats a great feature by the way. I was upset because the night of the installation they had trouble with it and said they fixed it. The drain was clogged and they didnt clear it out properly. But they fixed the problem within 48 hours and I now have a new A/C and Heating system. Thank you Efficient Air.

Arthur came onsite and was really great- very professional, friendly, communicative of what he was doing and with updates. Normally, Id check a service companys work before they leave my place but I didnt get a chance. When I did take a look at it a few days later, hed replaced some hoses that were all beat up, too, which I was very happy about. While I was told by another company my part was under warranty, it wasnt actually under warranty and I had to replace the whole unit which wasnt fun but Arthur was able to complete the work the same day. All in all, I would absolutely use Efficient AC again. Thank you, Arthur and James. 💯

We have exclusively used Efficient for our AC needs for years. When most of our faucets became difficult to use, we decided to try the plumbing department at Efficient. Alan was friendly and professional (even wearing boot covers to protect our floors). He diagnosed the problem and even though it wasn’t what we wanted to hear (our faucet handles were stripped and we needed new ones), Alan helped to guide us through the next steps. He was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Alan was also super responsive to messages and calls and cared about making sure we were happy with the job that was done. Cody and Pablo assisted Alan, as we had four faucet sets that were being installed, and they were both professional and friendly. We now have four beautiful faucet sets installed that are working beautifully and bring a smile to our faces everyday!Efficient even has a one year warranty on labor and we know we are in the best hands with Efficient should anything go wrong- they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the work that they do. I wanted my furnace closet modified tor reduce the sound and Efficient sent out a separate technician Randy who was wonderfully helpful. The whole process from start to finish was great. I contacted Efficient when we were looking to replace our current heat pump, their staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The installation crew was on time, and completed all of the work in under 5 hours, they put down protective mats inside my home and removed all of their waste.The only issue we had was when they removed the original outdoor unit was that it was dropped onto our wooden deck which resulted in some scrapes and large scratches.I would recommend using Efficient in the future.

We recommend this company to everyone with an A/C project or problems. They’ve worked on both of our units including replacing them when it was time. Our sales rep was a straight shooter, asking about our goals (how long we were staying, how cool we liked it) and telling us what we needed. He didn’t try to sell us something that was not going to satisfy us. The management offers a competitive price on very high quality equipment. They work from residential to industrial, l gaining the experience to know what might make things better for your environment. Customer Services means everything to the Efficient Air Conditioning technicians. They respond promptly, work with us so we take as little time as possible from and are fast at trouble shooting. They will explain every step of the way or just do their job and leave, whichever you prefer. These guys work as a team, when the technician did have a problem, he called another more experienced technician and the problems were solved quickly. We also have an annual maintenance agreement; it has been worth the money. Efficient comes out twice a year and make sure everything is running at peak performance. It is well worth it to know that we won’t have any problems during the year. Highly recommended.

It would not be possible to leave Alan and the team at Efficient AC a better review. My water heater went out as a result of the 2021 winter storms. Other plumbers in town either wouldn’t return my call, or simply offered to install a brand new system for $4k without even attempting to diagnose our tankless water heater. Alan was the exact opposite. He came over, diagnosed the problem, and ordered the correct part, and installed it for a total of $350. He was very thorough in his communication. However, what set Alan apart was his dedication to customer service. We had been without hot water for three weeks (with a newborn and a toddler). Alan noticed our difficult situation, and said as soon as the part came in, he would come over to repair the system, after hours if necessary. Sure enough, that’s what he did. The price was fair and then discounted 15% because we signed up for the annual maintenance agreement. That said, there is one area of opportunity for improvement, calling them. They are not properly staffed in the office. Its not the person I spoke to, she was very pleasant while trying to manage too many calls. Its a management failure.

I started a maintenance contract with this company 5 yrs ago after replacing the HVAC units in my duplex. That pays for them to inspect & maintain every spring & fall plus 10% off needed services. TBH I only intended to keep this plan long enough for the discount on a sizeable job reworking the electric feed on one unit but having priced what it costs for just the yearly tune-up, and seeing how much i saved on freon the one time they found a leak, Ive decided to keep it going. With 1 exception, they have always gotten to us quickly even in the busy summer and prices seem fair for the local industry. That exception is why I took off 1 star, which I may revise later. They forgot to auto renew my account last fall & failed to return my call for furnace tuneup, apparently due to major personnel change like so many businesses have been going through. If they had to drop the ball, definitely better before a mild winter than before summer. 😅 They were quick to respond this spring, efficiently tuning & cleaning both AC units, even though the condensate line was pretty well clogged on my tenants side. Everyone has always been friendly & professional, taking appropriate health precautions according to the time they visited. Hopefully the staffing is steady now & theyll start calling me to schedule the maintenance visits, bc taking that task off my to-do list is part of the perk of getting the contract.

I called a different company and they could not unblock the line and started quoting exorbitant prices for excavation etc. My wife stated that she had heard that Efficient had recently started providing plumbing services (we use them for our AC needs). I called.A master plumber and journeyman plumber arrived within two hours. They were professional in both their appearance and behavior. It took them two hours on a cold, wet miserable day to unplug the line, video the results (and post it to the cloud) and provide a solution for the repair. Came out and replaced some ductwork and installed dampers near the end of the winter. When we started using the AC, noticed that it wasnt cooling as well as we thought, so had another guy come. Made some adjustments and didnt charge us. Still had a problem and had another guy come out and he figured out the issues (clogged ac drain was causing the unit outside to shut off). They were responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. Good folks, especially James. James really took his time to figure things out and explained the issue. We contacted Efficient Air because they are a Mitsubishi mini-spli system Diamond contractor. Darwin was laid-back, yet very responsive, and super easy to work with. Because were new to mini-split systems, he even offered to meet us at the Mitsubishi training center in Austin to experience a demo of the units! The installation team was great too. They showed up on-time and worked late on day 1 to ensure we had a working system for the evening, then returned the following day to complete the remaining work. All in all, a great experience (which seems so rare) and I highly recommend them!

I called Efficient AC, Electric and Plumbing after the big freeze. Water was running across the ceiling and dripping into the room. They tested the water lines for leakage and found that there was not a leak in the lines. The water was caused by frozen gutters and not a pipe as I suspected. It was running from the outside wall to the center of the room. I appreciate the quick response! My tenants had turned off the main water to prevent any major damage. Because of this quick response, they were able to turn on the water which they had been without for several days. The next day Dallas sent me a picture of the problem. Their customer service is over the top. I was very pleased!

Schedule a maintenance check for the summer and told them there has been a problem with the unit cooling in the afternoon when it is really hot and humid. They came out and did the service check and there was a hole/leak in one of the coils in the attic unit. They said it could be repaired but this is the original unit that came with the house and the repair would be costly and might only last a couple of years.. They said it really depended on how long I was planning on staying in my house and they also gave me different efficiency plans to choose from.. I liked that they gave me the different options. Needless to say I now have a new HVAC unit and I am very pleased. I would definitely recommend Efficient AC. My son has also used them to install a special AC/heating unit in the second story of their house and was very pleased with their work.

We had an emergency water leak, and thought it was the HVAC. I am contracted with Efficient HVAC, and they had someone come out after hours to check the unit. We kept getting more and more water, so we called Efficient again, and they again had someone come inspect the AC unit the same day. We could not find the leak, so the AC guy called and made sure Efficient had a plumber there in 30 minutes. The Efficient plumber was able to track down the leak in the wall, get the water shut off, and repair the leak in a few hours. I so appreciate the responsiveness and the willingness to go the extra step to save as much of our walls, carpet and flooring as possible. Thanks, Efficient!

The technicians at Efficient are professional, courteous and competent. The office staff are equally capable and pleasant to talk with by phone. Ali went out of her way to put us on Ben’s schedule. When Jeff left the business, I was a little apprehensive as he was a hydronic heating specialist, but Ben stepped in a couple years ago to perform annual maintenance on our HVAC. When we decided to sell our townhome, we called Efficient asking for Ben and came out a few minutes early and went to work. Our 18 year old system has been consistently been performing flawlessly for the past four years. Unfortunately a ‘home inspector’ stated our AC was underperforming, requiring repair or replacement. Although our system is ‘mature’ it works well, and Ben came out again at the buyer’s request, performed another inspection and test of our system, took plenty photos to document the performance for the buyer. Moral of the story, not all ‘inspectors’ know or understand AC systems, and occasionally it takes a capable professional to teach them how to evaluate an AC system. Call Efficient.
