Just like any company, there are going to be issues. When the tech came out there was a communication issue. When we called the office they responded in a quick manner. I spoke to a supervisor who addressed the issue. They called me and scheduled an appointment to remedy the issue. You cant ask more then that. I recommend them.

After getting 4 estimates for a complete HVAC upgrade including all Duct work in the attic( I had 5 scheduled but when Trevor from Morrow Mechanical showed up and saw he there were other HVAC Companies giving me estimates, He stated this is not our kind of job(?!) and left), I felt Dr. Cool was the Company that I was willing to trust to do the job the most professionally with superior products. In the end they exceeded my expectations and I now have a 100 percent efficient System that is fully Warrantied for 10 years. Thanks to Devin for building value in Dr. Cool Professor Heat and convincing me of his ability to meet all my concerns on this Project and a big shout out to JR and Jimmy who did one of the cleanest installs I have ever seen. If you need anything HVAC related, you would be remiss if you didnt give this Company an opportunity to help you.

I had service performed on both AC units by Sakis with Dr Cool. Dr Cool has always been professional and competent in work performed for me in the past and the current work was completely satisfying as well. Dr Cool sends a text with a 30 minute arrival alert and a photo of your technician, which is a great safety consideration and allows for more efficient use of customers time. All the issues with my two units turned out to be non-mechanical but Sakis was very thorough in checking and ruling out the possibilities for the blower not working on one unit and a cooling problem on the second unit. A number of small issues were corrected and both units returned to good working order. I appreciated getting educated along the way and I was very happy with Dr Cool again. I would recommend Dr Cool to anyone and was surprised that their service area is so large.

I dont write reviews, but I had to write this one. I had a plumber out (from another company) on Aug. 14 to reroute the primary drain for my A/C, and through no fault of their own, the A/C broke. None of us realized this until they were already gone.I called Dr. Cool, who I have used before (with great results), at 3:07 p.m. and they said they would have someone out same day. Michael and a newer technician (I unfortunately forget his name) arrived at around 4:30 from Galveston, which is an hour away from me. Those two worked non-stop until after 8:30 that night to fix my problem. It didnt take so long because they didnt know what they were doing either. There turned out to be multiple issues, each of which had to be diagnosed and addressed, to get the A/C back online. Both Michael and the other technician kept up good humor the entire time, even though I know it had to be frustrating for them to chase so many problems, having been in similar situations myself in the past.Even though they did such a good job, the company was aware how much trouble my A/C had given them. So, they sent out a senior technician, Brandon, the next day just to quickly double check everything at no charge.If you need work done on your A/C, I dont think you can go wrong with this company. So far, all of their technicians I have dealt with—especially the last two days—have really gone above and beyond to fix the problems I was having. And the pricing has always been more than fair, in my opinion.

I do not often post reviews. However, I must post this one to share my experience with others in the League City area. My AC went out on Monday Night, and I had another company come out to determine what was wrong with my system on Tuesday. Long story short, my options were 1300$ part + Labor (~2200) or replacement of my entire furnace (~4000$). Me and my wife felt it ould be more cost effective to replace the entire furnace due to MFG 10 year warranty so I proceeded to get quotes. Dr. Cool was the third quote we got and was cheaper than the other quotes. In addition to the furnace, Dr. Cool listened to my general AC concerns and offered a solution to better cool my kids rooms with duct modifications to supply side on upstairs zone to add more CFM to kids rooms. Total cost of furnace replacement (Lennox) and Duct modifications was cheaper than both the other two companies quoted me to replace ONLY the furnace. We made the decision to go with Dr. Cool on Wed, and they scheduled us for Friday Morning install. Install team was extremely knowledgeable and kept me in the loop on Install status. They put down drop cloths up stairs and around attic access points. During instillation, they identified legitimate concern with supply side plenum insulation and consulted Dr. Cool HVAC tech and myself to reccomend replacement. I agreed to additional scope of work and cost. Install exceeded nominal buisness hours and Dr. Cool dispatch team sent two additional instillation teams out to help get us up and running before the weekend. The final install looks great, and it is evident they took the tine that was needed to deliver a clean istall rather than rush to get off on Friday night. Definitely reccomend this company and they will be my go to for any additional HVAC needs I have.

Our house was built in the late 1960’s and the duct work and insulation had never been updated. There was very little insulation left in the attic and the ductwork was leaky and falling apart. The house is a story and a half and around 2500 square feet. The outside condenser was worn out with the fins beginning to disintegrate. During the summer of 2023 our electricity bills ran between $500 and $700 from May through September. With a setpoint of 72F the unit ran around 18 to 20 hours a day during the heat of the summer and the downstairs would heat up to around 76F and the upstairs would warm up to 82F.I had three different companies come out to give me bids. Sakis from Dr. Cool came out and spent close to two hours climbing around in the attic, measuring the rooms and making detailed calculations. The other two did not seem as thorough. The bid from Dr. Cool was the highest of the three but after we thought on it for several months, we went with Dr. Cool. One of the reasons, other than the apparent expertise of Sakis, was the zero-financing option.When Nick, Tuan and Michael showed up and began work we knew we had made the right decision. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt and extremely hard workers with attention to detail. It was obvious that they take personal pride in their work. They installed two heat pumps, a deck with stairs in the attic, insulated all of the upstairs walls and blew in 20 inches of insulation bringing the R value up to R60. They worked for seven days and completely changed the efficiency and appearance of our attic.Because the summer of 2024 has been different it would be difficult to do a direct comparison of electricity usage for the entire summer but May and June of 2024 were similar in terms of temperature to the same months in 2023. Our kWH usage was down 35% in May and 45% in June compared to those same months last year. The hurricane, lower temperatures and personal travel make July and August comparisons difficult.The main take away though is the house is now comfortable in every room and our electricity usage has dropped between 35% and 50%. Twice the comfort for half the money.

Well this a funny ordeal i purchased a unit from DR COOL 24 YRS Ago A TRANE XL 1400 AND COIL WHICH SERVED ME QUITE WELL FOR 24 YRS LIKE THEY SAY HARD To STOP A TRANE !!!! NOW i have had in 24 yrs some minor issues like a fan motor and capacitors and a leak in coil which having a Trane warranty all was fixed. I now decided to update due to energy cost not for any failure of old equipment which is in top shape , I picked out a new system XLI 17 2 SPEED AND coil and replaced old ducts and a xl824 smart thermostat . SAKIS Margetsakis is the tech I dealt with which is EXCELLET AND DAMN KNOWELEGABLE ASK FOR HIM !!!!!!! AND HIS INSTALL CREW which is fab and effecient I was amazed and thrilled to have them do the job and the install was awesome plus i check my smart meter texas and was happy on the results saving electricty cost will later post pics later of the install

What a great company. My generator started leaking oil and I was referred to Doctor Cool and Professor Heat by Generac. We had no power and I explained my situation to the company. Doctor Cool told me they are completely booked but will send someone the next day. At 8:30 pm Michael showed up and addressed the issue and made the necessary repairs.When a company cares about a customer who never had a business relationship with and helps that customer; That’s a company I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I’m so impressed with today’s service appointment! I called earlier this week to request the same tech that my neighbors regularly use…and I’m so glad I did! Eddie Clark is one of the kindest, most thoughtful technicians I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I’ve only been a member of the “cool club” for about a year and have always thought the technicians that have been out to service my AC and furnace were great…but Eddie goes above and beyond. He is incredibly thorough when doing the inspection and servicing. He takes tons of pics and spends time explaining everything he did and why he did it. He suggested several tips and tricks to make my units last longer. I’m a big fan of Dr. Cool and Professor Heat in general…and Eddie is a superstar tech!

Dr Cool kept me updated on when my tech would arrive, which was great since I was at work and would need to meet him. We have been happy with the value and work provided by Dr Cool & Professor Heat while installing two replacement units. The first was installed 2020, the second in 2023. In both cases we chose reliable, high efficiency upper end systems (one was a continuously variable Trane and the other was a Mitsubishi heat pump.) Their install prices, including 10 year warranties, beat the competition handily. Dr. C. arrived when promised and completed the work within their estimated windows. The workmanship was generally good; there were issues with removal of the first unit that they came back and mostly addressed. Both were units were installed for the initial estimate. They returned calls promptly, provide the appropriate maintenance at a reasonable cost, and have sent pleasant, competent staff throughout. Based on my experience, I have no hesitation recommending.

And they actually acted like they wanted to sell me an AC by sending a tech out who knew his business. I had another company do the install of my brand new Trane system and boy did they mess up on the wiring and everything else in between. Mr. Sakis was super knowledgeable in the wiring issues and was able to complete the task in a timely manner and made sure everything was back up and running before completing the job. Our AC was out of service. Dr. Cool promptly sent a technician to diagnose the problem, ordered the required parts (some needed special order) replaced them to get AC going again. All was covered under warranty.Technicians were knowledgeable and professional. My AC has been acting up not wanting to cool properly. My regular AC guy wasn’t available so I called Dr. Cool & Professor Heat. I explain what was going on and I got an appointment for the next morning. My technician was early which I greatly appreciated. I explained to him what was going on and he did a thorough job on inspecting everything from inside to outside. He made some suggestions which I had already done the night before and was still having issues. He couldn’t find anything wrong. No leaks, no holes in the ventilation, nada. He did suggest that I might change out my thermostat and get on a maintenance plan. He was great not trying to up sell me anything I didn’t need. My system was installed in 10/2016 and ran for a year if that due to hurricane Harvey. We moved back in to our home the first of this year and it was working like a charm until recently. Going to get a new thermostat today. Preferably one not controlled by Google nest or any others.

Writing this review because I owe it to these guys for the phenomenal work they did. I was not asked to write this.These ARE the tradesmen you are looking for. They absolutely know what they’re doing, and do impeccable work. For these big jobs you’re paying big money for, it’s worth the extra for the knowledge and skill to do things not only right, but well. We ended up getting a 2-stage Trane AC unit installed. Yeah, it’s a looooot of money, so you want to make sure it’s done right.Brandon came out to do our inspection and deliver us the news that we’d need a new AC unit (which we knew was likely the case from our home inspection) and Brendan and Mike came out for the install. Tom came at the end for an extra hand. Man, the night and day difference in the attic! You don’t even have to know anything about ductwork or condensers or anything to tell the difference, not to mention everything is up to code now! Seriously, it’s that good. These are the cool guys you wanna hang around and have a beer with after work. We’ll be calling Dr. Cool for all our house installations and maintenance services they offer. Excited to live in this community; these guys represent the company very well.If you’re reading reviews looking for which company to go with (endless choices on Google), these guys are it. Dr. Cool & Prof Heat delivers marquee service. No corners are cut, everything is planned, the work is of the finest craftsmanship. We had been eking by on a substandard old patched-together system that basically ate the whole attic. We wanted the best, didn’t mind paying for it, and wanted the benefit of a system designed to free up our large attic to be used as a storage room or extra room. The folks at Dr. Cool & Professor Heat could see the vision and make it a reality. I find no fault with their service. I can stand a foot away from the condenser and have a conversation in a normal tone of voice when the AC is on. We now have a primo system that will last us the rest of our lives.

The entire team at Dr Cool & Professor Heat were amazing. Sakis, the engineering tech surveyed our existing system thoroughly and listened to my concerns. He calculated the heat load on our house after getting our input on what our comfort temp was and took into account our buildings structure, insulation level, and windows type. He give us a quote on a new AC/ Heating system with an innovative solution to address my concerns about cooling/heating our East/West facing 3 story town home quietly and evenly; and explained everything that they would do, how long it would take and what to expect. None of the other companies that I got bids from wanted to do anything beyond just replacing my system with another one just like it (only 20 years newer). The installation crew (Paul, Joseph & Michael) did a great job -they even left my attic more organized than they found it! They were careful to clean up each day before they left and coordinated taking out the old system and putting in the new one with just a few hours without AC. They balanced the flow to the 3 stories by adding additional registers / vents and air returns. When they were finished, we had an issue with the thermostat not controlling the temperature very tightly.Brandon, the service manager came out promptly and took care of that problem. When they were all done, we had a system that is so quiet and efficient , I have to go outside and look at the fan to see if its running!

This company is amazing!! Last year (2022) our AC decided to go out on a weekend. First I called the place who had installed our AC and found they were no longer in business. Next I called DR. cool. They were so prompt answering the phone and dispatching someone right away to come fix it. He found the problem and fixed it quickly and the price was even better! We signed up for their yearly maintenance program as well. Sure enough, they called us to get us on the schedule for our summer maintenance. They are honest, upfront with costs, and respectful of property. Very prompt and on time too! Highly recommend!!

He is also proactive, in making suggestions that can help with the life of the system.It should be noted that the Dr. Cool Office staff, whom I have never met, is amazing about reminding me when it is time to schedule an appointment for the 6-month inspection. Once the date is set, they are excellent at calling the day before the appointment to confirm. We had a new HVAC system installed in Nov. The installers were professional and friendly. When the new unit did not turn on on Thanksgiving a tech came out early and spent a great deal of time going over every inch of the new furnace before finding a wire that was not quite in correctly. He fixed it and then sat in the attic for additional time making sure he was satisfied the it was working as it should. He even loved on my dogs. Weve always had good service with Dr. Cool and highly recommend them.We have maintained our relationship with Dr. Cool for almost 25 years. They are always responsive to our calls and needs. The techs that come to do our maintenance are personable and thorough. We have yet to be disappointed.Weve been clients of Dr. Cool for over 20 years. Early on the owner came by to check on zoning we had done and he was available to conference with if we ever had questions. The service techs weve had come out have always been friendly, professional and good at what they do. Our Trane unit needed repair this week. Luke was friendly, efficient and very good at explaining what went wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. He encouraged questions too.I renewed my Cool Club so I expect my next update will be in the spring.Update March 2022This is an update to my previous review about my experiences with this company. I called last week to schedule my spring air conditioning maintenance, and after checking the calendar I was scheduled for this morning. With an 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. service window. The company called me about 8:00 a.m. to let me know that my technician was on the way and it would be about an hour.The tech Eddie arrived just about at the expected time. Then he got started. I showed him where my unit and equipment items were located. He started in the attic where my unit is located, and after he was done he showed me photographs and explain what he did and the status of my system. He also showed me the AC filter and we agreed it was time to be changed.Eddie then transitioned to outside, where he checked the fan and exterior equipment. Again, he came and shared with me the photographs and results from the testing.Overall Im very happy with this company. Its easy to schedule with them and the technicians are spectacular. Eddie has excellent attention to detail and I have faith in his advice and knowledge. Im also confident that my system is getting the preventative maintenance that it needs to get me through every long, hot summer.Update Dec 2021After my positive experience with their plumbers, I signed up to have them service my AC/furnace for regular maintenance. Jimmie came out this morning (I called yesterday) and he checked system for safety and function this winter. He also checked the AC and drain line since it seems were all using both heat and cool these days. In the notes, he wrote a reminder for the spring technician to bring a filter since mine was still in good shape.Im super happy with all of the services Ive requested from Doctor Cool and Professor Heat.Feb 2021Like everyone else in Houston after the winter storm, I knew I had at least one broken pipe. After calling 15 plumbers, with no luck, a friend recommended Dr Cool. The team that was sent to me this morning checked the broken pipe that I knew about and helped find a second suspected broken pipe.After removing the broken pieces and gluing in new unbroken pipe the team waited about 30 minutes for the pipe glue to dry. I appreciate that they took the time to do this rather than just crank on the water. Once the water was on they walked with me through every room and checked every faucet, and every sink, and every drain, plus every toilet. At this phase, I admit I held my breath because I didnt know if there were other broken pipes.This repair wasnt cheap but it was reasonable for the time it took and the fact that I didnt have to wait weeks or months to get my water turned back on is priceless. I appreciate their timely scheduling and accurate work. The office was able to email the invoice.In a perfect world my house would not have needed pipe repair but having been without power and heat for so long, Im lucky the damage wasnt worse. Im glad I was able to call Dr Cool and get my broken pipes quickly repaired.I plan to utilize other Dr. Cool and Professor Heat services in the future.

Unlike other companies where I often wondered if the tech was taking a nap in my attic, these guys take pictures and discuss the work in detail. I’m still a very happy customer. I am sure someone can find a cheaper company because they’re out there. Be careful. You get what you pay for.Original Review: Amazed at the service my family and I received from Doctor Cool. I had a functioning 2003 5 ton unit, but it just could not keep up during the summer. I added an additional 120 square feet last year and opened up some ceilings, and it just struggled even more. Ive been reluctant to replace the old unit. My old AC contractor has tried to sell me a new unit for almost 8 years now. Yes, even one of their techs lectured my wife and I on how our neighbors must hate us for having such a loud compressor. They even tried when it was working and cooling just fine. So, I figured all AC companies were on the take. The thought of 1) weeding through all of the hyper inflated prices and 2) having people up in my attic for several days and 3) not trusting what the guys were doing, were all tough to get past. I had 3 quotes done. Each company confirmed immediately that the install I had (prior owners) was awful. Mainly the ducts. Laying all over the decking and rafters, nothing tied up, ducts laying on each other, under sized ducts. Funny thing, the company that was always trying to sell me the new unit was the original installer. Anyway I looked over many reviews online of the 3 different companies I chose to give me a quote. I liked all 3, and all 3 had good reviews. But what I liked most about Doctor Cool is the guy that came out seemed to really like his job. He seemed excited to crawl around and get pretty gritty to look it all over. Even when he really didnt need to. I could tell he really liked his job. All 3 companies suggested I go with (2) 3 ton units. I was already thinking this. So, this required a lot of prep work because one location was virgin (no utilities, no vent, no base). Besides my sense the employee that quoted the job seemed to really have a passion for his work, they didnt nickel and dime me for every little thing. I had some extra requests that the other 2 companies dinged me on. When they found out some of that turned me away, they tried to make it right, but it was too late. Anyway, the install was great. Tuan, James, and Andy were the main guys. I kind of got to know them a little. Good guys. They too liked what they were doing. They loved to explain and they were also great listeners. They took really good care of my home. Because the temps dropped in the area, the company called in reinforcements to get our units running asap. Tom, Young, JR, and Ford all were pulled off of other less critical jobs to come finish up so we wouldnt freeze to death (joking-since we live in Houston-we never asked them to expedite, the company voluntarily did it). The attention to detail was amazing. They tied everything up. Everything was pulled out of the way where at all humanly possible. They were more detailed than I would have been on some things. Because I had all ductwork replaced and two brand new units installed, this was not cheap. But they were very competitive (came in slightly under the other guys). Once I saw all that had to be done, I can see why it wasnt cheap. I met the owner, and yes, he crawled around in my attic too. Very nice guy. If youre looking for an honest company that without a doubt takes pride in their installation, I would call these guys. Thanks

However, he failed to show me the battery removed from one of our outside compressors, he said needs to be replaced. He went to look for a new battery in his truck and I went inside our home. We had a whole new Lennox system installed at the end of May last year. The technicians basically installed the new inside and outside units the same way they would in a new home. Duct work, new insulation, everything!!! The technician today, came and did his bi yearly service maintenance. The house has NEVER cooled the way it is now. And Im telling everyone reading this, the unit will 100 % pay for itself. Our electric bill was pretty much half of what it was last year during the summer months. It all started with my online request for a service call. It was on the weekend, but they responded quickly. Then touched base with me a few times leading up to the appointment to make sure all was well and nothing further was needed. Then Tim arrived. Elias came out on a service call and based on his finding I was able to get warrantee work completed on the outside unit. He then returned to install the parts quickly and now the house cooling down again. Thank you!Our blower went out in the house, and no cooling was occurring during the hot summer days reaching VERY upper 90s. Doctor Cool (Mike) was called (as we use them for all our A/C needs). The truck showed up and the technician quickly diagnosed the issue. He even had the part on his truck! We were cooling in a few hours. Later that week, I called Dr. Cool (Mike/Jim) in again in order to review a room that was VERY hot, as compared to the rest of the house since construction of the home in 2000. The technician told me that the room was having cooling taken to the other two bathrooms as well. He rerouted the bathroom air, and created a dedicated line to the room, even adding in a return to remove heat. It is much cooler and actually now working correctly after 18 years of suffering. We subsequently also had our bi-annual maintenance done (Jim). We love this company as the people explain everything and give you options without the high pressure tactics. Keep Cool!

Nick patiently waited for another guy to finish his estimate and leave. Then he came in and pointed out things that the other guys missed. He gave me a lot of information to help me understand what was needed to be replaced and what would help my home be cooler and less humid. He even hired a subcontractor for us and handled the planning of the installation of an attic fan that we badly needed without me having to do anything but give permission. This was truly an EASY experience and it wasn’t nearly as big a deal as people make it out to be. Maybe that’s just thanks to Nick and his great crew. Shopped around and they were $1000 less than the competitors. Great customer service. Dr Cool came out to our residence last week to fix a faulty AC unit. It was a Sunday and after we called, a technician was there in about an hour, not bad.He hooked up several things on our unit outside, it looked as though it was on life-support. Nothing wrong there, so he went inside to check on the thermostat and there was the problem. He shook his head from side to side as if he were a dentist who just saw someone’s teeth after they had chewed on bricks for an hour, it wasn’t pretty.My deer-in-the-headlights expression was obvious as he explained to me what the problem was, I’m not up on AC lingo, I just want to press a button and I get cool air. He said “I’ll be back” just like the terminator!He darted out to his van to get some tools, he returned through our back door and he was back-lit from the sun shining through. He looked like a superhero walking in slow motion.He feverishly worked on the problem as we all sat around and played dominoes, A trickle of sweat ran down my cheek, it was starting to get warm in the house. Then suddenly, we heard the most glorious sound, it was like a symphony to my ears, the AC turned on! Cool air filled the room and I canceled my reservation at the Motel 6, I told the clerk he could leave the light on for the next sap, he didn’t laugh.I have to say, the technician was nice, professional and very efficient. he even chuckled at a few of my lame jokes.This was the second time we had to call Dr. Cool and both times our problems with the AC were fixed.

Nick is the only person I trust with my AC. My friend is a realtor and has done lots of work with him and she highly recommended him. I went through a friend of a friend to get an AC installed for cheap and as you can guess, they did a bad job. The unit wasn’t cooling my home. The tech was able to fix the thermostat after the company that did the original install wanted $800 to replace it. He also pointed out issues with the installation. The HVAC had been installed on inverted footings that could not support the weight of the unit. It listed hard right and eventually over time would break the water drain. There were other issues pointed out that he said wouldn’t have pass inspection. So I called the installation company and at first they said it had been inspected. When I told them I needed the inspection report because the city needed to be informed they had a bad inspector they back tracked.

(Summer 2021) One of our heat pump compressors has been struggling to startup in recent months and our regular 6-month tech checkup indicated very high start current draws suggesting the compressor was beginning to fail. (Start kit itself checked out OK.) Given the time of year, the age of the system and current global logistics delays we elected to replace the system before it completely failed. Tom and Marcus did a terrific, careful job removing the existing system components and then did a great job to re-prep the attic and outside installation sites. They also did a nice job installing two new small ceiling returns and ducts to provide more return air to better match the system capacity. The a/c and heating component installations went very well, and the system is running well. They did a great, very professional job and did a terrific clean-up job. The job was completed on-time and per the quote. Very nice guys. Listened to our questions and helped us to make informed decisions. Will continue to use Dr. Cool.(2020) Our system was cooling, but started making strange startup sounds and taking longer to cool a couple of days ago. The office quickly scheduled Angelo to come out the next day. Angelo was here at the scheduled time and diagnosed the problem quickly. He walked us through the problems he found and showed us the parts that were the cause and what he was going to replace. He repaired the system and was careful to double check that the system was working correctly again. Thanks, Angelo & Dr. Cool! These folks are the best and always courteous and professional. Weve been using them for many years and will continue to do so.

Luke arrived at the appointed time, was courteous and very professional. In the interim between our new install, Luke provided us with small window-unit air conditioners to keep a few rooms cool since our AC was totally turned off and it was quite hot outside. Well...Elias Martinez was technician that came out to service and clean our unit. He noticed an issue with a light we had in our attic and kindly unplugged it for us and informed us right away. (He did not have to do that.)There was a mix up in our paperwork about renewing our membership (this was our first visit). But, it was sorted out fast and Mr. Martinez was quite apologic (hey paperwork gets mixed up. It wasnt his fault and a small oversite in the office, that they looked at when I called in and simple fix. Again, no big deal, things happen and they were all professional on acceptance. Quickly handled. And again, another apology from Mr. Martinez. From our first visit to dicuss our AC needs Luke with Dr Cool our sales/ service rep was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to us. We asked lots of questions and Luke always had the answer. We were working with our insurance for the Harvey claim and Luke went above and beyond writing our estimates. He would complete and the insurance would decide they needed one more item on the estimate and he would kindly rewrite the estimate. He actually rewrote and submitted our estimate at least 5 times due to the insurance changing requirements every time we submitted the new estimate. He was always friendly and polite about doing the estimate again. We decided to go with TRANE AC. We have been very satisfied with our new unit. It’s so quiet you hardly hear when you are sitting outside right next to it. Luke worked hard to adjust our airflow through out our home to get our temperature perfect. He calculated we actually needed another small return in our bedroom and wow has it made a huge difference. We have lived in our home 20 years and NOBODY has ever mentioned this during service checks from other companies. The service we received overall from Dr Cool was great. All of the staff is always very friendly and nice. And Luke was a excellent salesman and service rep for us! We are customers for life! I am very happy with my experience with Dr Cool. If you go with Dr Cool request Luke if possible because he is awesome but I am sure others are good too!

We called late on Monday night and a repair technician was at our house Monday morning. Sakis was great! He diagnosed the problem quickly and explained what was needed for the repair. He needed to get the part because it wasn’t stocked on his truck. He came back and installed the needed parts the same day and we had our A/C working again very quickly. Would highly recommend!

Extremely happy with the repair work that Jason was able to do for me. It started with him showing up at 10pm on a weekend night . He diagnosed the issue and then made sure to wire up the AC to run for our kids until he could get the parts in . Then he came back with the parts and fixed the AC . Definitely would recommend Jason and this company . We are now doing maintenance on our system with them .

Our technician, Saki, was incredible! Not only was he here on time as promised, he went above and beyond thoroughly conducting a wellness check on our HVAC system. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, personable, and friendly. I don’t recall the last time I was more than pleased with the customer service experience we had during his visit. I highly recommend requesting for Saki if you ever need anything completed with your heating and cooling system.

We expected a quick winter check of our HVAC system. We were very pleased Kyle did a thorough inspection and identified several items that needed attention. Most significantly, a recent roofing install had dislodged exhaust vents that caused a carbon monoxide buildup in the attic! He also found faulting wiring, an ineffective drain pan, and air flow cooling the attic. We feel very fortunate we called Dr. Cool!

This is an updated review from 5 years ago. We are still very pleased with Dr. Cool & Professor Heat. We are members of their Cool Club. The Cool Club has been so helpful and cost effective with the biannual maintenance and priority service call during the freeze for heater evaluation. They have always been on time, personable and give detailed information, including pre-arrival phone calls with ETA, photos and discussion about the status of our systems and any current concerns or anything on the horizon that we need to be aware of. We have had our aging systems changed out including ducting and also non functioning bathroom exhaust vents replaced. We worked with Noor and his team for the replacements. Our most recent tech, Kyle B. was so nice and thorough. Really appreciate that. Couldnt ask for better people or service. I highly recommend Dr. Cool for your HVAC needs.

The technician had a jacket/hoodie on and when he came to my home and I didn’t see a badge or any kind of identifying information so I was a bit guarded being home alone. I even told him I didn’t see anything identifying him. I would have liked to see the pics he took and hear what all he did but was also extremely tired from being up all night from work the previous day and maybe he recognized that. My AC gave you on me on a Saturday about a month ago. I called 3 companies out and the 1st to show up was gonna have my business. Dr. Cool was prioritizing their members and could not make the call.One those companies showed up, charged me a very high price and did not have the required part to make the repairs. Basically wasted my time with prise to repair on Monday.Sunday I gave a call to Dr. Cool and they sent Angelo to home. He immediately identified the issue and had the parts in his truck. His estimate was about 40% lower than the 1st. estimate. Not only did he fix the issue, he went beyond by ensuring other ACcomponents were in good order. Turn out that my vent was plugged and my inside unit was not draining properly. He took care of these issues at no additional cost.I highly recommend Dr cool. Their technician was very knowledgeable. He took his time to not only address the issue but went beyond to address any potential red flag on my unit. I was an very satisfied customer.

Recently our air condition went out and they came out on a Sunday to look at it. They had us up and working really quickly. As for the staff, Adina and the rest of the office staff are always so professional and happy when they are answering questions. Jason and the other technicians are really knowledgeable and can explain everything in detail. We would and do recommend this company to our friends.

We had all ductwork and vents removed and replaced with new this week. Paul and Oscar were fabulous! They were on time, worked hard, extremely thorough, knowledgable and cleaned up every piece of anything that dropped on my floors. They not only checked their worked, they double checked and triple checked to make sure the proper amount of air was coming out of each vent into each room. I will call them again and they will surely be my go to for anything ac related.

I have three dogs one of which is an excitable Pitbull and Justin made friends with all. Let me start by saying, Dr. Cool is amazing!! Office staff’s customer service you don’t find to much anymore, anywhere!!! Everyone is attentive, kind and very professional. Usually don’t have favorites, but I have to say Luke Squier is our go to person-at Dr. Cool. He has always handled our maintenance and any major ac/heat projects we have had and you never have to worry when he takes the lead. Luke recently was in charge of a two furnace replacement for our home for both upstairs/downstairs. Luke showed up that morning of the install and got everything started....Went very smoothly and the work was complete on time and done right!! I have to also mention JR and Ford, the installer team for this project who were awesome, awesome!! Worked hard, knowledgeable and cleaned up behind them..Very conscientious!! This is a little different review. I recently had these guys out for a service call on my A/C. A mistake was made in the diagnosis/service of my unit. It can, and does happen sometime. The manner in which the service mangers dealt with my issues was wonderful. There was no run around. Very honest and straight forward. They sent the service manager to verify my concerns. Even though my A/C was fixed by another company this time, I will happily call back to Doctor Cool and Professor Heat for future service. These guys do good business and did right by me.

I have been using them for almost 10 years. I first used them to my entire heating and AC system. I wasnt looking for the cheapest price. My first priority was knowledgable well qualified technicians who take pride in the workmanship.I continue to use them for my yearly maintenance and have never been dissatisfied with the quality of the work. I moved to a new home and my technician (Randy Garza) did a fantastic job inspecting the system head to toe and explaining details about the it and the thermostat controls. I recommend them highly.
