EXCELLENT SERVICE! Our AC went out late last Friday night and we called Coy Dodd first thing Saturday morning. Eric R. was here in no time and diagnosed the problem. The capacitor (whatever that is, lol) was bad. He checked to see if the capacitor was under warranty, which thankfully it was. Not a whole lot of companies would bother to do this, and honestly we wouldn’t have known the difference. Eric was so personable and we feel like we’ve known him forever. Our dog Chili loved him! If you want an honest, reliable company that will go above and beyond to take care of their customers, this one is it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Jim & Karen GuayTyler

They were quick and efficient. Our outdoor unit had a loud clatter and we feared the worst, but when they came within 24 hours, it was only a capacitor and cost less than $200 to change it out. Don was wonderful!! He helped us earlier in the summer, as well, when our inside unit fan went out. We will know who to call if we need help again!!

I had about as great an experience as anyone could hope for with this company. My AC went out July 4th and by end of day July 5th, Angel had me up and running.He arrived during the two hour window they estimated and was able to diagnose the issue and make the repair inside of 2 hours. He was professional, personable and readily shared useful information throughout the process.I will absolutely call Coy Dodd the next time I have an issue.

These guys are great! My AC went out, and they didnt have the fan motor in stock. It was ordered...got here fast...and I was in business! Very nice people. Very knowledgeable. Answered all my inquisitive questions.4/13/2022 updateOnce again, I had problems with my air-conditioning. Coy Dodd came out, diagnosed, found the manufacturers solution, and ended up with an alternative solution that saved me $300! You cannot beat these guys!!

I am absolutely impressed with Coy Dodds Air Conditioning, Inc! From the time Jeff came out and gave me an estimate and through the time of installation of a new heat and ac unit, I was treated professionally, fair and courteous! The installers went the extra mile to fix my siding where the unit had to be replaced. As a single woman, that was huge! Also, the value can NOT be beat! I had 5 other companies come give me estimates before having Jeff come. Thank you for putting your customers first!

I have lived in Tyler for 20 years. I bought a complete new unit in 2011 from a friend who retired from servicing A/C units. He recommended that I call Coy Dodd and set up a yearly maintenance program and that if I had any problems they would be the Best. It was the Best advise he could have given me. Coy Dodd has been my go to for A/C problems ever since and will be as long as I live and have a home in Tyler, Tx. They are professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. But most of all, Honest. I never feel like Im getting gouged for a repair or service. I feel like they are old friends of mine now, from Stephanies kind and professional voice when I call, to knowing I will get one of the best technicians in the area with Mark Rogers.Their Slogan is so True Air Conditioning Problems, Call Coy I do!

I called on a Friday morning and they were at our house by 2pm that same afternoon. The technician changed the contact and starter kit on our larger outside unit and gave our smaller one a look over in about an hour’s time. He still took the time to explain everything to us and answer our questions. He even gave us insider tips on our older units instead of just sales pitching to replace them. EXCELLENT customer service for a very affordable price!

Coy Dodd installed the original American Standard system from my brother-in-law 12 years ago. The outdoor coil developed a leak last Sunday. To get it running his wife called another company to come out. The other company charged the system but it wasn’t cooling again after not even 24 hours. The other company told them that the unit probably needed to be replaced. I reminded my brother-in-law to call Coy Dodd and get a second opinion. Coy Dodd’s technician Mark Rogers came out today found the leak within about 10 minutes. He repaired the leak in the system is up and running again. My brother-in-law and I are very grateful. I would definitely recommend Coy Dodd to anyone looking for top notch HVAC company. A lot of HVAC contractors just look at a 12-year-old system and tell the customer it needs to be replaced not Coy Dodd.

Air Handler Stopped working, No A/C or heat. Called and setup appointment for the next day when I could meet with them. They called right at appointment time to let me know driver was running 15 minutes late( good communication ). Tech arrived on site, checked thermostat, then the air handler, fuse blown. Tech asks if the lawn crew had been here recently(Yes) and the location of the A/C unit. We walked outside and he pointed out where the weed eater had shredded, yes shredded the wires which caused the fuse to blow. Five(5) whole minutes to determine problem!!!45 minutes to run new wire and test functions of the A/C and heater.$150.00 total bill and 1 hour to diagnose issue and complete repair and get paid. Thank you.

Ive used Coy Dodd exclusively for years. I called ETR out once and they told me I needed to replace my inside and outside unit for $2-3k. I called Coy for a second opinion and they fixed a belt on the inside unit and found a hole in one of the ducts that had been badly patched. They didnt even charge me to fix the hole permanently. Always friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

The people at Coy Dodds stand to the fore based upon professionalism, service level, and unsurpassed ability. The company re-engineered our HVAC systems including the re-routing of duct work, installed two furnaces and air conditioning units, installed a high volume vent hood for a large gas range, and vented all bath rooms and the electric dryer. The work is perfect.Six months after the installations, Coy dropped by to make sure the dryer duct work was installed correctly for preventing animals from entering the attic. When I tried to pay for a service call, Coy jumped in his truck and while driving away refused to take payment. In 2019, where do you find another company with that level of service, a company that actually cares for its customers?Richard and Laura Ryan
