We needed to get both of our air conditioners replaced and if possible I wanted to support a local business. I called six different companies to get prices so I could make a qualified decision. I called to make an appointment and Mike, the owner, answered and set up an appointment for me to meet with Drew. After I had gotten all my quotes I decided to go with Compass Air for several reasons. This was the only company that provided me with a comprehensive and detailed quote telling me exactly what was included. There was no high pressure sales pitch and they were the only company that gave an option for a lower price if you paid in full at the time of purchase. From start to finish I have never been more pleased and impressed with a company! The crew that came out for the installation was polite, prompt, hard working and so effective at teamwork that I wasn’t surprised by how quickly everything was done! When they were finished with the install we did a walk through and everything was explained to my satisfaction. My air conditioning units are performing wonderfully and I’m looking forward to seeing how much lower my bills will become in the future. I highly recommend Mike’s company and everyone involved with him, you can tell they all take a lot of pride in what they do and it shows in every aspect of the company!

We had a complete AC system installed on Monday, 9/14/2020. Installation was flawless, on time and professional. George, Alex and Ricardo (installation team) was knowledgeable, professional and with great manners. Drew Roden on 9/8/2020 provided estimate. He even double checked my system to make sure that I actually need one and provided his honest and expert recommendation. Due to Covid-19, TRANE unit was not available in whole country, Mike Prayor (Manager) worked diligently around the clock and secure on unit for me. The whole team at Compass Air is awesome. I will recommend them every time when some on need HVAC help.

Exceptional experience from beginning to end. Drew, estimator/supervisor, honest, easy to work with, responsive.After install, while trying to test system, encountered electrical deficiencies in my wiring that needed resolved.Great guidance to get issue fixed by electrician. Compass Air was recommended to me by a trusted friend and I couldn’t be more pleased. Installed two units in a day, entire crew was professional and did all the little things well. Mike, the owner, worked with me to get the best deal possible. Don’t waste your time calling others, these folks are the best!

I have been using Compass Air for over 10 years. I should have written a review before this! Mike, Shane and my technician, Jeremy, have been amazing. Our motor went out recently and I received a call back within minutes. They were able to come out pretty much immediately and fix our AC. Theyve even responded instantly when its just been for a simple service call. This week I referred Compass Air to my neighbor. She has had 2 other companies out and neither of them were able to access the problem much less fix it. She said that Jeremy was able to fix it during that same service call. I have found their integrity to be top notch. And, their pricing is more than fair. I refer everyone I know to Compass Air.

Compass Air installed my system in April 2017. I was very happy with every facet of the installation. This past weekend, I had an issue with my unit. I called at 8:00pm on a Saturday and Shane called back within 30-45 minutes. We determined that my problem was not critical, and he scheduled me for Monday morning between 10:30-11:30am. Jeremy showed up at 10:20 and took care of my issue very quickly and explained the cause and ways to deal with it. I chose Compass Air for my installation because they had great reviews and were able to get to me quickly when my A/C was out, but after needing service and seeing how they took care of me, I know I made a good choice.

Our sales rep, Jeremy, was very helpful and quick to answer/return my calls and concerns. He was patient to explain all of the details concerning the equipment, efficiency, and payment options. Our installation also went very smoothly, George was very helpful to answer my any of my moms questions the day of. And the crew arrived on time and got right to work and finished in a timely manner. The installation at my home went great & so my mom also decided to do business with Compass. We had a great experience with them and highly recommend their services!

Wow, I thank Mike and his fantastic team for saving me from yet another week of no AC in this hot Texas heat!! Purchased the Trane XV18 and my house is cold now and I am so happy!! I would recommend Compass Air Services to everyone, we will be with Compass Air Services for a long time to come!! Compass Air Services will be installing insulation in our house in the very near future, which will help with the cost of electricity in addition to our new AC!!

They were on time, very careful, professional, educational, complete, and left absolutely nothing negatives I can possibly think or even create about. Drew, Sam and the crews were just amazing guys. Compass air took my call and Bill scheduled an appointment for 1230 to 1245pm same day. Brian arrived about 1240pm. He quickly determined my issue. He walked me through what was needed and set up a time to return on Saturday. Later on Friday Mike called me to check in and confirm that Brian would be back at 1000 am Saturday. Brian arrived at 1000am and had my AC running by 1030am.Everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly.I will continue to use Compass Air for my AC and heating needs!

This is the second time Ive used Compass Air Services for installing HVAC systems. My first house they installed 2 Trane XV18 systems with some hesitation whether it was worth it to spend the extra money on the variable speed compressor. After a year it was definitely worth it and would not go back to the single or two stage compressor. I bought a new house that needed three new systems and I shopped around quite a bit and kept coming back to Compass because they offered the best deal and kept the pricing very reasonable. Drew was my P.O.C. and wouldnt deal with anybody else because he was always honest and straightforward. He didnt try to sell me the top dollar system and provided me all the pros and cons of each. He was always very responsive to my texts, emails or phone calls answered all my questions. I consider my self well versed in HVACs everything they told on my first house was spot on and was another reason for going with Drew and Compass. Mike Pryor the owner of the company was very attentive to my questions and needs. Drew and Mike both showed up on the day of the install with a crew of 10 guys and replaced all three units along with replacing the ductwork and move some returns all in one day. The whole crew was polite and courteous and cleaned as they went and covered the floors with tarps to prevent stains and dirt. No question that I would use these guys again and will continue to use them for all the maintenance and upkeep.

I dont usually do post but I will for Compass.July 2019, Drew from Compass Air came out with his team and replaced my 5 ton unit that was 16 years old and leaking refrigerant. The leak on the old unit had gotten worse this summer. The old original install was also leaking air from the ducts in the attic that Compass Air fixed during the new install and they enlarged the second return duct.They put in a Trane XV20i and we are cooling again better than the original. The original unit was not installed very well when the house was built. All that was corrected by Drew and his team.Compass Air came back a few days later to make sure all was good since I asked them to.. Few days later had a minor issue on the thermostat wire which had a razor cut on it exposing the copper wire outside causing a fault after water hit it. Not sure when that happened but possibly it was there from the original install, I really dont know, and then went unnoticed during the new install maybe. It was a small slice so easy to go unnoticed. Drew had someone come over and fix it right away with no charge within a couple hours of calling him.Hopefully this new efficient unit will save some money on the electric bill. Will find out soon. It sure runs silently. Can barely hear it running both inside and outside. Will post addition to this when the electric bill rolls in. :-)I recommend calling Drew for sales and service. He responds quick, the work is done well and the price for the install was a fair price.

This company deserves the highest accolades. They earned my 5 star rating.Drew called me 20 minutes before he arrived to do the estimate. He was very friendly without being fake. He spent about 30 minutes looking at my heater in the attic and my AC unit in the yard. He took about 15 minutes in his truck to write the estimate. He offered me 4 options, each one he explained in full. The options included 16, 17, 18 or 20 Seer. The True Variable system at 18 Seer was the best fit for my home. The estimate was 5k less than the other 3 estimates I had received; each of those estimates did not include the heater. Those other companies were dishonest and disrespectful in that they were they were attempting to install the AC that wouldn’t couple with my old heater. Once I saw the estimate from Compass Air, I realized how far off those other companies really were. We scheduled the installation for just a few days later as per my schedule; they could have done it the next day.The installation was seamless. The crew was respectful of my home, yard, and worked fast and efficiently. The new thermostat is essentially an iPad in my hall and one of the installers gave me an in-depth walk through on how to use it and the app via my phone. The Trane system is silent, has reduced my overall utility bills and every room in my home feels balanced. Prior, the master bedroom and bathroom were too hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Drew listened to my insight about the old system, those stated issues, and they installed additional vents and duct work to address each problem.When the installation crew left, I felt like I was saying good bye to family! Compass Air is far and away superior to any other AC & Heating Service company in DFW.

Look no further if you need a new AC system. Compass Air came out 1st to quote me on a new system inside and out. Over the course of a month I had 10 different quotes done with 7 of them in person. Each time I thought Jeremy at Compass Air knew his stuff and had the best overall deal. He even noted how I needed more intake to properly balance the system and how to solve the issue as part of the deal. He could have easily not mentioned the issue as other quotes did not address. Thats real integrity thats above and beyond with customer first values. The guys came in, put the new system in, cleaned up and now we have a great AC system like we have never had for the last 17 years in the house. What a difference!!. Save your time and effort. Had to replace an old A/C unit. Found these guys through a coupon. Jeremy came out to assess our needs and did a great job. Very thorough even set up financing to make it easier on the budget. When one of our newer units (not from them) died before its time I called them right away. They replaced that unit too. For the first time in 20 years we were actually COLD at times with the A/C running. New unit was fantastic. Better energy savings, reduced my electric bill, they checked all the duct work and even traced my existing ducts because of an issue with how the returns were set up to make sure there were enough returns for the unit.When the thermostat quit working for some reason they came out quickly to diagnose it. I wanted to change the type to a newer Zwave model and it wasnt in stock. They not only didnt charge me for the service call to find out why the thermostat wasnt working but when the new thermostat was backordered by manufacturer they continued to follow up to get the unit to me as soon as possible and get it installed.Jeremy supervised the entire job and all the workers were polite. Ive used other companies in the past and usually have trouble with the non-English speaking people they send out and worry that they arent doing a good job since they cant answer any questions. Compass Air Services is a PROFESSIONAL service. I enjoy working with them. I highly recommend them.If you want a cheap, low end, builder grade unit probably look elsewhere but if you want good, dependable, warrantied, hard working, long lasting higher end equipment like Trane...it is worth it.
