We recently had our annual Fall inspection from Comfort-Air. We had asked for Daniel to make the visit as he had been very easy to work with in previous visits and we expected he would remember our attic set-up. And he did. He discovered a defective part this time and ordered it so he could replace it on a return visit. He is always both patient, cheerful, and when needed, educational in explaining what he has done this time and what to expect in the coming Spring visit. We have always been happy with his work and with Comfort in a supplier and maintenance role.

This was such an amazing experience. I just needed my cast iron sink replaced with new one. But when I used my washer this morning water was coming up in my tub. They were able to fix that first and then they had to install my sink. Steven Carmichael was professional, kept me informed of what was going on, competent, and did quality work. It was not easy had to cut the quartz countertop to get sink to fit. It is hard to find people who are professional, experts and do quality work. I am truly grateful and beyond happy! Highly recommend!!!

This company has done very good work in maintaining my HVAC equipment. They have also repaired problems with plumbing devices in my home. I recommend them very highly. One word of caution; they need a considerable lead time when making appointments for regular maintenance (2 or more months). Comfort Air - solid, reliable company. Highly recommend. We bought and moved into a new (to us) house in 2023, the year SA broke all those heat records. The house had 2 AC units. One died that year, of course. Had 3 companies come out to bid and they all came in well over $20k for a 4 ton unit and the salesmen were all exactly that - sales people. Engineer husband joins via phone to respond to the bs talking points and we learn that the salesmen don’t actually understand what they are selling or saying. A relative gives me a contact at Comfort Air, so I reach out. No BS, just straight facts about the system and a very reasonable price. As expected, they were booked out for a few weeks, but they sent a tech out to see if he could do anything to help keep our old system limping along. Once installed, the new system performed flawlessly. Fast forward to 2024 and the 2nd unit dies. I call Comfort Air and get a solid quote, no BS. I explained that we have an airflow problem with the upstairs, and heat collects at the top of the stairs. When they installed the new system, they ran ductwork to the hallway and now the upstairs airflow works and all the rooms are the same temperature. Their prices are more than fair, the techs they send out are professional, and they actually solve problems. It doesn’t get better than that.

As we have come to expect, the service and work from Primo Plumbing was excellent. A complex problem involving a pipe re-route required careful preparation to avoid unnecessary damage and expense. Max and Gabriel worked carefully through a difficult architectural problem, minimized wall damage, and provided better water service after the repair than we had before. This company is our choice for plumbing and hvac.

Nate was amazing! He came out within an hour of my call for assistance on a Sunday morning. I replaced both units less than a year ago, and the company I used wasnt responding reliably and sent someone to fix the issue a week prior and assured me it was fixed, though it was not. There is a lot of repair work to do and the installation appears to have been flawed, but Nate and Comfort Air Engineering have been amazing! Helpful, responsive, professional, they have explained things at a level that I can understand, and I feel very relieved knowing that they will be helping me to get this issue resolved, while I work with my insurance company to address the property damage. I signed up for their Diamond Service Package and saved a lot of money with that.Very grateful. Recommend HIGHLY.

Comfort-Air Engineering has been servicing my HVAC system(s) for twenty plus years. As part of their annual service program they come out twice a year to perform a complete system check; in the spring for the air conditioner componet(s) and in fall for the heating system. Their service technicians are professional and provide a lot of insight in terms of how these systems are performing. Every few years their lead sales technician (Daniel Simpson) comes out to evaluate and review the on-going performance of these systems in terms of other potential needs. If you are looking for a professional provided of HVAC services with a long, consistent track record, I highly recommend Comfort-Air Engineering.

THESE GUYS HAVE SKILLS!!! Had a leak in my bathroom sink drain somewhere inside the wall which was in between some custom stucco work and very nice tile work in my shower. I was sure that I would either have to tear out a lot of the tile or ruin my stucco exterior wall, but these guys actually fixed the leak by sliding a compression sleeve into the wall without damaging ANY of the exterior stucco or my tile work ... I still cannot quite believe how they did this, but I am eternally grateful for their exceptional skill and care in fixing my leak - Mr. Carmichael performed more like a surgeon than a plumber - IF YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF PLUMBING ISSUES HIRE THESE GUYS, YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY YOU DID!

We have been using Comfort for 12 years, both for service and a new installation. We have had some minor issues with the new installation but they are always quick to respond and take care of things. Nate is a great tech, he always fully explains what hes doing and what might need addressed. When I got my new unit they werent the cheapest but theses days finding someone you can trust is more important than the lowest price.Update.....two weeks later we went to my in-laws house and their system was down. They are near 90 years old and I was concerned about that. I called Comfort, who they had never used, explained the situation, and they went out of their way to get someone out in just a few hours. I dont remember the name of the woman who I talked to on the phone but she was so polite and helpful. To my delight when I opened the door it was Nate again! He found the problem and had them up and running soon after.This is why we have been Comfort Air customers for 12 years! Well done to all.

This was our first time using Primo Plumbing but definitely won’t be our last. Making the appointment with dispatch was easy. They called to confirm the business day before. The tech, Mitchell, was on time, patient, thorough and knowledgeable. He found the leak (pool auto fill, again) and came up with a solid “bandaid” solution until we can get the pool company out for a repair. The final bill was a pleasant surprise and well worth it. Keith and Kareem were great! They showed up ready to tackle the issue we were having with some leaky drain pipes. Upon initial service call it was just the pipes but they identified the faucet, leaking as well. So they returned later to fix the faucet. While they were on site, one of our restrooms was having a flushing issue. I asked them if they could take a look at it and without hesitating, they agreed. I know they’re busy but they were able to fix that issue as well, on the spot. These guys are very professional, friendly and overall great! Will continue to use this company’s services as long as it’s Keith and Kareem coming out.

I had an immediate plumbing issue during the holidays when I had house guests and my water heater failed to produce hot water. I called Primo Plumbing and a technician arrived within 2 hours. The technician, Max Macias immediately diagnosed the problem and found a part locally. After replacing the part, the system still did not work and it was found to be a defective part. Unable to find a replacement, Max rerouted the water line to be serviced by another hot water heater that was operational. He reassured me that he would not leave my home without hot water. Ive currently been a customer of another highly rated HVAC company but much to my dismay, their prices keep going up & their quality of service has not been up to par for what they charge. Comfort Air, on the other hand, is very reasonably-priced and the service was much better than I expected. My technician Nathan Delgado was above & beyond what I expected as well. He thoroughly inspected & cleaned my outdoor unit as well as the indoor unit. My previous HVAC company did not do all the things that seem to come standard wirh Comfort Air. He was extremely thorough, professional, knowledgeable & ready to answer any questions & offered both professional opinions & personal advice on certain issues. My only regret is that I did not find Comfort Air sooner.

Comfort Air not only identified the problem in less than 5 minutes (when a previous company quoted us $500+ to fix), but they also did a fantastic job replacing our unit with a brand new one! I wish they gave me a coupon or something for my review like other service companies, but I feel compelled to write one anyway as this is the 3rd HVAC repair company I have tried in San Antonio and they were by far the best. I wont say the other companies names but I tried one of the biggest companies in SA the first time and a company run by one man the second time. The tech I called from the big company cussed in front of me, bad mouthed the home inspector, and charged me around $400 to replace a $20 part that ultimately needed to be replaced a few months later as they didnt diagnose the issue correctly. The guy that runs his own company wasnt friendly at all and when I asked him questions about what he was soldering/brazing he seemed offended and instead of answering my question told me that I was free to inspect his work after he was done (I was interested because I tried to do the repair myself and couldnt, so I wanted to see how the professionals did it). The techs from Comfort Air took the time to explain everything and they were friendly. They also got to my house very quickly. Oh, and the dispatcher was nice as well. After my first two experiences I was legitimately convinced that the HVAC repair industry was a total scam but you guys have restored my faith. Thank you!!!!

So it was Saturday, 4 hours before family was due for our early Christmas party, and I had a pretty serious plumbing issue. My usual plumber was out of town but his company recommended Primo, so I called, and got a quick response. The service technician (Mitchell) was professional, polite but best of all, very knowledgeable! He had the plumbing up and running and my Christmas party was only delayed for just under an hour. Big plus, the cost was reasonable.I highly recommend Primo!

Best A/C and Plumbing company no doubt. My Dad did A/C service for 44 years, so I am pretty familiar with the profession. Dad is long retired, but Comfort Air is a good old fashioned, honest, and terrific company. My A/C went out on Saturday night at 6 pm. They had me back to the cool by 8 pm! Yes, on a Saturday! And Travis, the service tech was a very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable gentleman, just like everyone I have dealt with there. Thank you again Comfort Air.

Had fall service/inspection today with Bill THE MARINE (Thank you for your service to our country) who was very knowledgeable of my Infinity System, friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to meet him & I will request him for future checks. Comfort Air installed & has serviced my system for 12 years now. I know I can trust them & they have always given great service. Thanks to all & a special thanks to Eric Randall who always makes sure everything is top notch and done right.What we all dread happened last night... My AC quit putting out cool air 😥! Inside the unit was blowing warm air. I checked the settings on the digital thermostat & temp was rising 🤔. The fan was not moving on the unit outside 😮. I shut the unit off & spent a hot July night waiting to call COMFORT-AIR ENGINEERING @ 8 AM. They installed my unit & have done my fall & spring checks & have made repairs when needed. I am on the GOLD PLAN, as my 2004 installed unit is likely to have issues at this stage of the game. I get discounted service calls & discount on repairs 😏! My 8 AM on the dot call was answered courteously & I explained my problem. I was told I would get a call back in a few minutes & that is exactly what happened & I was told a Tech would be headed my way 😀. BEN R. came & was very professional & offered his condolences 😓. He went right to work, diagnosed & fixed my problem (capacitor) & made sure everything else was okay. A second capacitor looked on its way to failing sooner rather than later & he replaced that, with my OK 👍. Everything was done in about 45 min & cool was coming out of my vents inside 😎!! PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING and THE BEST SERVICE WHEN YOU NEED IT! THANK YOU COMFORT-AIR ENGINEERING INC!! Youve got a customer for life!!

These guys are awesome. The field techs are extremely professional, they dont try to up sell you either. I did have a issue at first with the tech needing to come back out and he said that he or someone else would be back out that next morning and no one showed up. I contacted the service manager and not only did he have people out there within a few hours he also came out apologized and made sure we were okay, stuck around with the crew until the job was done. Really?! Who does that anymore?? Comfort air does..These guys set the gold standard for customer service. There techs are also well trained, professional, personable, and efficient.

Simply, the best. I am not a price shopper, I look for value over the long haul; after all these systems last 10 -15 years +. After shopping around, we stayed with Comfort-Air. On time for both arrival and finish, no $urprise$ and unit is delivering what was promised and then some. What more could you ask for?

We had them back out again this year for a different problem and was pleased to learn they could fix it for a reasonable price. I know that we will have to replace our main unit at some point. I made the huge mistake of buying a new system from another company. In less than a month the new system stopped working. I called Primo Plumbing and a plumber was at the house within one hour. He used the snake again and this time cleared it well. Settle in, this is going to be lengthy, but worth it. On a Saturday night our AC stopped blowing cold air and it hit 80 INSIDE the house by 330am. We changed the filters, collected our pupper and left for the day (about 1030a). We came back around 7p to an 86 degree, 1638sqft home. We are first time homeowners in our new home for just about a month. Our inspection went well, they only recommended a general service call for the unit. We hadnt gotten around to that yet and we won’t make that mistake again (Thanks to Comfort-Air... just hang on, Im getting there). We had called our Home Warranty people that Sunday morning but it soon became clear that we weren’t going to have a functioning AC unit until Wednesday. Needless to say we didn’t stay home that night. I had requested HVAC recommendations on Facebook and as they started flooding in, I started taking notes and took matters into my own hands. I called a few places, checked trip charges, fees, availability - the norm. I narrowed it down to Comfort Air and someone else. The someone else didn’t work out. When I had originally spoken to Sara at Comfort-Air, she was extremely helpful and EMPATHETIC (that was a nice change of pace). She explained all kind of things to me and ultimately, because of that, we chose Comfort-Air. When I called back and spoke to Amberlee, she was awesome as well!! She ran down what would happen, what to expect, how long it should take and what would happen if they needed a part. They both listened to what I was saying - ACTUALLY listened; I didn’t have to repeat info later. Both Ladies weren’t just helpful with our existing issue, we even signed up for their Maintenance Plan. It’s probably the best deal I have EVER heard of. For ONLY $195 A YEAR ( A YEAR!!!!!) they come out and do TWO service calls for general upkeep/maintenance (Spring maint/Fall maint). As we all know, proper maintenance of anything makes it last longer and work properly. If I can pay Amazon $120 a year for free shipping then this is a no brainer. This even includes two pounds of Freon per year (Per unit, I believe but you should ask Sara, Amberlee or Laurie). If you need a service call, this maintenance plan WAIVES their service fee!! ($90.00 as of 06/27/18) When the technician arrived to do the work, he was knowledgeable, respectful, worked with a sense of urgency but efficiently. He talked us through the whole thing in laymen’s terms. He wasnt in and out of the house 10 times checking one thing or another, making it HOTTER in the house. He did his evaluation of each component, determined the issue and resolved it. He even stuck around for another 15 minutes to MAKE SURE it was working properly. It was so nice to see a person take pride it what they are doing and represent their company so well, and under pretty hot working conditions (I did give him ice water while he was working and a snack for the road). Ultimately, call Comfort-Air. It was the best decision I could have made. HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to our Serviceman Maziarj, and to the ladies in the office who put up with my panic. HAHA! Primo Plumbing specialist came and inspected my shower which barely had water pressure.
