    I dont know where to start. They are hands down the BEST HVAC company Ive dealt with!!! The initial evaluation, the communication and service provided. They listen to your needs and work with you to make it as smooth as possible. The installers were very knowledgeable, super friendly, professional, and constantly updating on the progress with detailed explanations. They also go over everything after the job is complete. Clean up, and the craftsmanship is on point! Ive dealt with over 7 providers within 9 years, and no other can hold a candle to Carnes. Highly recommended!!! You will not regret going with them!!!

    We replaced our AC system and the job done by this company was excellent. After reaching out to several AC companies we felt most comfortable with Clint at Carnes and Sons. On every call, we felt Clints honesty and his understanding of our problem. He was very patient and professional explaining the various types of AC units and specs available and worked with us on giving us very fair price. His technician, Hector Rodriguez and apprentice Dorian were extremely professional too and did a awesome job installing our new air handler in the attic and condenser system outside. Going forward, we plan to definitely call them again with any of our AC needs.

    Carnes & Sons are the best AC company I could find. I had 10 businesses quote my project but only Carnes & Sons had the right brand at the right prices. They upgraded my system with top of the line LED purifier… got it installed and working within a few days of initial contact. They helped me get through the 4th of July weekend with portable units u til they could install on Monday. That is customer service. They have my business going forward!…

    We chose this company out of four that we received bids from on completely replacing our AC/furnace. We are delighted that we did. They were fast and efficient. Hector and Dorian did the installation and were a pleasure to have in our home. The next day two technicians came out to check the system and help with paperwork. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks to Carnes & Sons we are now comfortably cool without a huge bill to pay off.

    Pricing was competitive or a lot better than other companies for a new unit install. Few issues with installation, but the tech Jesse went out of his way to get it resolved so my AC would be up and running. Around 10 pm, Randy and Clint were on the phone with me, helping diagnose what turned out to be a small issue. Everyone was very friendly and answered all my questions on the phone or through text. Carnes and Sons had my new unit installed on July 4th and overall I am satisfied.

My two units went out last week and a friend referred me to Carnes and sons, I called Clint and we agreed on the job then he sent Juan and the team next day to replace the two units and have it done in one day.     I had my AC go out and I called Clint as he had installed the unit about 3 yrs ago and had given us great service. It ended up not being the AC that was bad, but my wiring from 1977 was done. He called his electrician and the electrician had a crew out the next morning and replaced wiring and the panels. Clint did not charge me for coming out. He came out after hours and spent 30-45 minutes figuring out what was wrong,. he refused to take a payment from me. He also had shown up the day before he was scheduled as he knew we were without AC in these triple digit temperatures we were having. That was great customer and he has my business going forward. When he installed my AC 3 yrs ago he saved me $3500-$4000 on what other companies were quoting me. Good guy and good family.

    Top 3 takeaways after using Carne & Sons to replace our interior and exterior central air units:#1 The knowledge from the first call was helpful in not wasting money because I didn’t know what I needed. I was on the phone with the owner and he was able to give direction as well as offered a free consultation. (other companies were going to charge $85 just to come out)#2 In person he was informative but low pressure with making a decision. Negotiations were fair and I got a great deal.#3 It only took 24 hours from the time I said yes, I want a new unit to the time that they were able to remove my old unit and replace it with a new one.I highly recommend using their services. Great service and great people.

    I can only give you 5 stars here, but I give you 100 stars. Contacting several HVAC Companies, I decide to use Carnes And Sons, a family-owned company, honest recommendations that met my needs (no hard sales) for the installation of new AC & Heating System. Clint and sons arrived at the appointed time, very professional, and courteous from the first correspondent to the finishing of the job. The crew was also just as professional, knowledgeable and courteous and arrived on Monday and installed the system in 4 ½ hours. But ran into a problem with my thermostat connections (original unit over 20+ year old, so was the wiring), but left me with air up and running for the night. Returned the next day to replace wiring in the attic. A late decision on my part to upgrade the thermostat, so Clint came today to install it.Carnes and Sons and his crew (thank you guys) are hands down one of the best contractors Ive ever had to work for me in San Antonio. You get the best price in town and the superior service second to none. They are NOW my first choice for all HVAC repairs.

    They came and installed an AC unit. The quote was fair and they could start the next day. They went far beyond the call of duty to get this installation finished. There were issues with the old heating system and the addressed each as it appeared. I would highly recommend this company. Very nice people.

    Carnes and Sons installed two units for us. My father called them first as the AC unit in his home failed and they responded with a great HVAC unit at a fair and reasonable price. I verified this after getting several quotes and researching AC units. This is a father and sons business and they and their team provided a high quality installation with top notch follow up. Their follow up service made sure everything was working properly. One month after my father had his HVAC unit installed my 30 year old unit failed so I called the Carnes team and had the same unit installed at my house and received the same great price and service. They also do attic insulation as we got a quote on this too and may have it done also. If you want great service and a fair price provided by an honest man, call Carnes and his sons. Highly recommended by both my father and I.

    Called in morning to try to get a quote to help my son get a new HVAC system installed. I live out of state and son is in the military so did not have much time to schedule. Clint and his crew replaced the entire system the next day for $2000.00 less than my sons original quote. System is working good and as a kicker, when my son got home he realized he forgot to take the trash to the curb but not to worry, these guys noticed it and did it for him. Payment was easy and hassle free with the link he invoices from. Great customer service. No surprises in invoicing. What he says he will install for is what he charges. I forgot to mention he quoted and billed $150.00 less than his verbal quote

    Carnes and Sons is hands down one of the best contractors Ive ever had do work for me in San Antonio. They are highly professional from the minute they show up. They were on time and worked quickly to get our AC up and running fast AND right the first time which is important when its as hot as it is in South Texas. To top off our experience with them we tried to install a new thermostat which sadly was more confusing than we initially thought. Not only did they come to assist us in getting the thermostat issue straightened out they did it free of charge. In a time when you have to be very particular about hiring contractors for various reasons you should not hesitate to hire these gentlemen.     The A/C unit and water softener needed replaced for my investment property, so my property manager got a quote from a large HVAC company in the area. I have had to make a number of repairs, recently, and the estimate seemed high, especially in the wake of the amount of out-going cashflow I had been experiencing (its been a rough year).I decided to get a quote from another company, in order to feel confident in paying the amount in the estimate I received. Since I live out of town, I Googled for an HVAC company in the San Antonio area, and I came across the reviews for Carnes & Sons...I was impressed. I gave Carnes & Sons a call and they gave me an estimate $3,200 under the other company for the same model HVAC and $500 under the estimate I received for the water softener. Honestly, I was floored. I felt like I must be missing something...there must be some hidden cost Im not seeing. ...but there wasnt. Carnes & Sons is just a great company, with great people who work hard to do a great job for a great price.They even got high praises from my tenant who has had to deal with a lot of things breaking down at the same time, and who couldnt say enough about their professionalism and dedication. The property management company said they would be keeping Carnes & Sons contact information on hand for their other properties.
