    Bottom line up front: I wouldnt call anyone else in League City.Called to address two different projects. We wanted a quick a/c check up before summer, and a new breaker box with some new outlets in our garage.A/C check up went great, the gentleman spent a good amount of time in our attic looking things over before heading outside to check out the condenser. I asked a few questions about what it might cost to replace a few things, and the tech said We try to fix things before replacing whole units. Good answer!! No upsell, and he gave a few recommendations for the future. 10/10The two electricians came out to look things over, and we had a quote pretty quickly after they left. The new breaker box with new breakers was reasonably priced, as was the quote for adding new outlets to our garage (Ive heard crazy stories about other outfits in League City with really outrageous prices). The same two electricians came back on the scheduled date, and did a fantastic job. Clearly knowledgeable about the appropriate codes, answered all of our questions, finished in a timely manner, and the inspector had no issues with the install. 10/10

    We are extremely pleased with the service we received from Bob’s AC. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that takes customer service and satisfaction to such great lengths. Service technicians not only arrived on time but we were kept well informed of their arrival times by a very courteous young lady at the home office. We needed a new evaporator installed. An issue with the warranty was swiftly and fairly resolved, much to our satisfaction, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. Overall, it’s been a pleasure working with Bob’s AC and I will continue to call on them for all our heating and cooling needs. I’d have no problem recommending Bob’s AC to anyone who needs a reliable contractor.

    A/C went out this summer and we were melting. Fast, same day service for the initial diagnostic. Technician was extremely friendly and very honest. Wed had another technician come out before him that was trying to upsell me on a membership and a bunch of extra things that werent necessary. The guy from Bobs was great. No extra fluff. Quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me the price. Straight to the meat and potatoes.They came out on a Saturday, but werent able to order a new compressor for my unit until Monday due to the supplier being closed. We assumed we were stuck in the heat until Tuesday or Wednesday. I called around noon on Monday to make sure the order had been put in and was very happy to hear that our technician had already been able to find the compressor we needed and would be by in a few hours to make the repair. A/C is ice cold again. We were able to sleep comfortably 2 days earlier than id hoped for. Absolute 10/10. Well definitely be using Bobs again... but, hopefully not for a long time though 😅. Oh and one last thing, the repair was over $500 less than what I was quoted from the other company.

    When I first saw Bobs air conditioner shop in League City I told my wife that looks like the old electric company I used to work for and we were hard working and honest and thats who Im going to call if I ever have a problem. So I called them when AC wasnt working and they were able to work me in that day so Lee came and troubleshooted the attic and found the motor was bad. Lee and bobs AC looked up the number on the motor and found it was still under warranty. 1 1/2 hr later I was cooling again. Thanks to Lee and the honesty of Bobs AC I didnt have to replace my whole unit. I will definitely be using them in the future.

    I just had my 4th AC unit installed by Bobs AC (i have been in my home for 33 years). As always, the installation was quick and clean. 3 hours to install a 5 ton AC and heating unit. I highly recommend Bobs AC for AC/Heat repair or replacement.

    Bob’s is the best! When our A/C went out, I called Bob’s based on a co-worker’s recommendation. I’m so glad I did! A technician was at my house 30 minutes after I called and he quickly identified the problem. He showed me the problem and presented my options. Since our condenser was quite old, we opted to replace the unit. The install technicians showed up in a couple of hours and got us all set up! If you want fast, professional service at a reasonable price, I definitely recommend these guys.

    Great guy checked out everything found 2 problems was able to fix both...not cheap, but has to be done to help extend life of my sysyem. Little trouble with scheduling on wrong day, but it was quickly fixed. Best AC company Ive used in years!UPDATE:My OLD HVAC system finally died. Bobs quickly got it working, provided a reasonable estimate, and scheduled the replacement of everything within a week. The crew was great, friendly, very hard working, and cleanup was excellent. Really wonderful company.

    We originally had Bobs replace a whole unit 10yrs ago. They were top notch from this point on . Fast forward to Fathers day Sunday may 18th 2023 our ac stopped cooling. All the things led to maybe coolant low. They were so booked we made the mistake of calling WEEKS. They showed up 7hrs in and all the rep wanted to do was REPLACE A NEW System bc he saw the age. He charged us 189 to do nothing and said he wouldnt take payment until we agreed to set up next day with a supervisor to do so. We paid Weeks ect..but called Bobs first thing Monday morning. They showed up and in 10 minutes had us back up and running. Our contact wires had burnt...24hrs later a TRUE rep from BOBS saw it fixed it and we are back in the cool situation. We love BOBS They are Honest, Fair and can be TRUSTED.... I have posted on all social media and will continue to support and refer them...MUCHLOVE

    Bobs did a system check and recommended some repairs (new evaporator coil, etc.). The material was under warranty and the labor estimate was very reasonable. The work crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up well afterwards. The supervisor and crew answered all my questions and gave thorough explanations about the work they had done. I have used Bobs A/C for years and can recommend them without hesitation for both troubleshooting and repairs and new/replacement installations.

    We contacted Bob’s for issues with our electrical box. Their office staff was very friendly and was able to setup an appointment for that day. The technician (Lance) arrived on time and was able to diagnose the problem immediately, half the main breaker was blown. Lance was able to get full power restored to the house with a quick fix and recommended that we replace the panel box. There were able to provide a quote in less than 24 hours and was at a great price. We were scheduled for replacement a few days later and Lance completed all the work in just a couple hours. Plus we didn’t pay anything until all the work was complete. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing electrical work.

    Called them to come check my ac system that they installed some time ago but was under warranty. No hesitation on their part. They came out within hours,checked it and found a small leak in my outside condenser. Repaired it and all is good.The technician was very nice and professional. You can tell the integrity of a company when they promptly come out for a free warranty repair and handle it with no hassles. I highly recommend them for ac and electrical work.     Lance is amazing and helped me when the gas company cut the main power line to my house. Lance took care of everything with the city of Houston (permits, contacting, etc) and got the city off their duff and install the new power line. All of this was during the hot summer months. Lance also did work at my parents house, replacing items, upgraded the electrical panel and helped repair some items when we sold their house. I will only use Bobs They are trustworthy, onetime, and I know the work will be done correctly.

    We had a complete HVAC system replaced in our home. Robby the owner and his crew are true craftsmen, their attention to detail shows in every aspect of their work. We had major problems with our old system and they were able to correct the problems and surpass my expectations on every level.     These guys really know what theyre doing! I contacted several big generator supercenters, and then contacted Bobs Heating and AC because of the good comments Ive heard about then. The big generator supercenters knew zero about the permit requirements for my Locality, but Bobs A/C was on top of it. Also, their price was very competitive when compared other professional installations. And when they did the work, they hit it hard and did it quickly and correctly.

They ARE a bit pricy but theyre good people and I trust their work. The techs always answer all my tedious questions and give suggestions for how to maintain the system myself.

    Bobs has done very good work for me in the past. My only gripe, and it isnt a biggie, is that Ive purchased a service contract for the year; an AC check in early summer and a furnace check in the late fall. I asked to schedule the fall visit during the spring visit, and I was told that I cannot do that. Apparently the company tried that before, and when they later called the customer in the fall, some of them thought it was a scam and gave Bobs grief. I get that. But people are different. If I ask to schedule my appointment ahead of time, Im going to put a reminder in my calendar, so Ill know that their call isnt a scam. Not only can I not schedule ahead of time, but they dont call later to setup the second appointment, so I have to remember to call them to set up the second appointment. If I forget, sorry! I also cant call further ahead than a month to setup the second appointment. If they could straighten out this little glitch, Id be even more satisfied.

    Let them replace the things, and their service is outstanding! They did some major electrical and HVAC at my home. Ive had to call them back out for minor repairs.     We purchased two complete systems, A/C & furnace, from Bobs last week. As scheduled they came yesterday to replace the two old systems. Yes, that day that started out at 34 degrees and got up to 44. Two crews came just before 9:00 A.M. in two pick-ups and a van. They first covered the floors from the front door to the attic stairs with tarps, then went to work. Over the next 5 hours these men completed all the change over with unbelievable efficiency. When they left at 2:00 P.M. you wouldnt have known any work had been done, except the house was getting warm again. I cant say enough about the professionalism of Bobs people and of doing business with Bobs. The Lennox equipment is good quality and mostly made here in Texas, the price was fair and everyone did what they said they would. You cant ask for much more.Don & Shirley Ware

    I cant say enough good things about this place for both AC/Furnace repair and electrical work. Ive had to see a lot of these folks over the past 18 months, and they have always gone above and beyond what anyone would expect: James told me that I probably could replace my broken thermostat myself, and he was right! Lance was nice about fixing my attempt at DIY light-switch replacement and actually got on the phone to set a dubious appliance repairman straight for me. I cant remember the names of all the others weve had out, except for Holly, but they were all top-notch. Very reasonable prices, and they wont charge you to do work that doesnt need doing, and you wont have to wait around on them to show up. I was late getting home once and they actually waited for ME. Its great to have a go-to electrician / AC place. When we replace our AC and furnace and get our house rewired, were definitely going here. Great people; great service.

    I was able to schedule an estimate near the end of the day. They had a written estimate to me within hours. The cost was better than other estimates I received for the same work. They scheduled the install within 10 days. I watched the install closely. They brought 4 workers which made the work go quickly. Everything was put together well and well sealed. The area was cleaned up as they went and when completed. They used the right procedures when recharging the system.

    Great Experience! We give Bobs A/C & Heating an A+++. We recently replaced our A/C units for our home and we replaced them with Lennox Units, the larger unit has a smart thermostat. A great deal of work was involved, not only replacing the actual outdoor units but the air handlers in the attic. Bobs showed up first thing in the morning with 8 professionals. They began by protecting our floors and walls, and worked to remove all of the old equipment. The new equipmet was installed and tested and by mid afternoon we were cooling again. My husband & I were pleasantly impressed with their professionalism and their smiling faces through the entire installation. Upon completion all debris were removed as if they had never been here. For stress free work on your heating and cooling call Bobs.

    Showed up as promised and did great work. Had gotten financing for work, waited Monday for call to schedule work no call. Called Tuesday morning to schedule service and was told they would be out at 1 pm to do work, and was on time and did great work.     We have used Surman Electric on 5 different occasions. 1. for new electrical box change out 2. for a rough out and final install of CAN lights during a renovation 3. Install patio/pergola outside fan + sockets 4. Install an independant socket from electrical box to the bathroom for the jet tub - Each time the job was done without issues, good quality and being reasonably priced. We have faith in their work and continue to use them for work on our rental properties.

    Had them replace inside unit and duct and vents in the attic. Had some issues after install and after I had sheetrock done. Vents started damaging sheet rock after a few months of humid weather. Called them up they corrected the issue and payed to have sheet rock redone. I appreciate they corrected the issue without any dispute or trying to charge us extra. There is something to be said about contractors standing behind their work. Regardless if an oversight or mistake was made because it can happen. Not having to argue or stress about it getting fixed was great.

    Bobs A/C installed a XP-25 at my home several weeks ago. The unit is amazing. Maintains temp to within a half degree of temperature setpoint and humidity setting. Variable speed compressor and air handler. This is the 2nd Lennox that Leigh has installed and I could not be happier.

    Semi-annual maintenance is important and so is what they can do beyond that. You ask about a vent over the dryer and an external exhaust for the dryer in the garage and they make it look like it was built with the house. You ask about air quality and talk about Ionizers and Air Scrubbers and they can install that in also!
