    Big Tex did an outstanding job at our house. The service was extremely quick and efficient. They didnt take long to identify the issue we were having and it was much less than any other HVAC company weve had at our house before. Weve worked with previous companies that told me I needed to buy parts and products that Big Tex fixed within minutes without needing new parts. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Big Tex for all HVAC issues.

    Made an appointment on Monday for a technician to come out got scheduled for Friday afternoon.Waited like a fool all day and night and no one showed up. Called the 4:45 as the office closes at 5:00pm CSR said the technician works till the very last appointment no matter the time.Well I’m still here waiting 7:00pm in the heat.I’ve received a call from management assuring me my issue will be resolve within an hour.The technician arrived at my location within an hour I would like to say thank you for your prompt and professional response.The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly seems like he already knew the issue before he arrived.     The customer service is terrible; I have a new house that is under warranty and everytime I set up a schedule, they always say that there times slots are from 12 pm through the end of the day. Last time I waited until 7 pm for them to come. Today when i called they had told me the same thing so I talked to the home builder and now they managed to get me a time slot for the morning. They should be able to give there customers an exact time; people have things to do they dont have all day to wait, especially me. Its sad that I had to call my home builder to fix this issue🤦🏽‍♂️Update:Douglas, AC tech, came down to my house and happily fixed the issues that I was having. He provided me the best customer service and he is very nice. He was able to explain to me some knowledge of how the A/C set up works. Thank you Douglas for helping me out because of him I changed the 1 star rating to 4 stars

    Highly recommend! Our A/C started acting up on a Saturday night, and we assumed we’d have to wait until Monday to get it fixed. We left a message after hours, and to our surprise, received a call back the next day. A technician came out on Sunday and resolved the issue right away.

    I decided to contact the A/C installers for my issue because the builder was blowing me off about it even though I was under my one year. Im glad I did because they came out rather quickly and the technician explained to me the issues. They were minor and had to do with how the thermostat was programmed and the sensor. Both the office lady who took my call and installer were both pleasant and helpful.

    Ok. There is a lot to say but Ill speak to this one instance when we asked for a service. High praises for the service person they sent, sorry dont remember his name. But he went above and beyond his work and helped my elderly parents with changing the filter and above all found out a major issue with my home especially the master bedroom and contacted my homebuilder contractor to get it resolved. Great work brother.

    Big Tex installed the A/C unit at our builder constructed property. They recently came back to rebalance the heating/cooling in the rooms and we are very pleased with the service. The specialist was very friendly, professional and thorough. Went over each room, units outside of the house and in the attic. Made sure everything is working as supposed to. Highly recommend them.

    August 2023. We recently purchased a new home and the AC compressor developed an internal issue that led to the unit shutting down. It was 105 degrees outside so our home gained heat quickly. From the moment I contacted Big Tex for service to the moment they completed the Warranty repair, it was a fabulous experience. You could tell their entire team were truly motivated to get us back up and running. Thank you !July 2024. We recently had a home inspection done prior to our 1 year new home warranty deadline. It was noted that our AC units temperature differential was slightly lower than expected. Big Tex was contacted, they set up an appointment and then in the middle of Hurricane Beryl recovery efforts across the city, they showed up to ensure we were looked after. Very impressive professional dedication to customer service looking after numerous customers and their emergency AC issues simultaneously. Well done, thank you!

    As a customer over the years with BigTex, I must say my experiences have always been on a positive note. From ordering air filters, yearly maintenances and repair services.A week ago I experienced leaking of Freon. A serviceman came out to address the issue. I called the office because I was still experiencing some issues. Needless to say when I called the first young lady, Jessica answered the call with an upbeat, friendly response of concerned offering a suggestion. We hong up the phone for me to try the suggestion. It was of no avail. I called back but I didn’t get Jessica, but Dana.Again I was greeted with a friendly greeting. I told her I could almost sense the smile on her face.     I have been with Big Tex for 15 years. The technicians are great. They do my spring and fall maintenance. When something not working, the response is same day or at least 24-48 hours. They tell what was done and any recommendations. The office staff is friendly, courteous, takes an interest in the situation or what I need.Recommend them for sure.

    We have used Big Tex twice to repair our AC system. Both times, we got a timely appointment, and the service person arrived in the estimated time frame. The service person was friendly, efficient and quickly identified the problem. In one case, a second trip was needed because a part needed for the repair was not available locally.What impressed me was the communication - our calls were answered quickly, appointments were timely, and when there was a delay because a part was not available locally, they kept us updated on status and estimated delivery time.

    My past experience with Big Tex had me not wanting to ever have to call for warranty work again. The repairman wanted to argue with me that the reason I had moisture around my vents was because I had closed off vents to closets and even after explaining they were already wet before doing that he insisted that unless he saw it with his own eyes he couldnt believe that it happened that way insert eyeroll.Fast forward, I noticed that the return vent above my thermostat would randomly drop cold air and cause the room to drop several degrees and forced the heat back on to warm it up. I prayed they wouldnt send the last repairman out and instead send someone with basic HVAC knowledge.... and they did! PERCY and ANTONIO came out and were able to get several things figured out that nobody else seemed to be able to!For starters the fresh air return was set to dump fresh unfiltered air from outside for about 10 minutes every hour. Why this is an option I dont know because it is the equivalent of putting a box fan in the window and leaving it on for the same number of minutes. It makes a house filthy with dust and allergens and wastes energy. Two, some bonehead decided to replace vent covers without making sure that the inside vents were completely open which forced air to other areas. Lastly, the moisture around the vents was not caused by the vent being closed in the closet but instead because some caulk was missing and cold air was causing the metal to sweat.Beyond fixing the problem, just being patient and willing to listen goes a long way. I wouldnt have recommended Big Tex to anyone previously, but I guess with any company they have their good and lazy employees that only show up to check a box and PERCY and Antonio are definitely not just showing up, they are showing up and showing out and making sure a job is done correctly!     Given the current heatwave, our relatively new HVAC system stopped working this past week. We had Big Tex out to check on the system. Mr. Douglas P. Arrived after a long day of scorching attics and hot customers (literally). He was methodical in checking every aspect of our system. Patiently answered my questions. Double checked some of his findings, explaining that the u it was working correctly and that if we left it on, it would cool down our house.I appreciated his calm and patient answers to my concerns, and was in fact correct.This could have cost us a lot of money from someone less honest and professional.Big Tex and Douglas are welcome in our home any time.(P.s. the outage was caused by an error in our thermostat)

    A very respectful and professional technician repaired my air conditioner and completed a follow up visit to ensure it was still working properly. The RUUD AC that was installed in my new home at the time has been a lemon since it was installed, Big Tex Air Conditioning has had to make major repairs 3-4x a year. I’m not sure if all RUUD AC break this frequently but mine does. I will never buy a RUUD air conditioner again. My two year new AC labor warranty just ran out. I was going to have to pay for the labor this time. I explained my situation and the AC’s history to Big Tex AC and the repair ended up being complimentary.     Great Experience. The Big Tex Hvac tech, JD, showed up on-time, with protective equipment on, and with a smile. He thoroughly checked my hvac system, starting in the attic, addressed a attic heat leak issue at my Tstat, and dbl checked my return air chases for air leaks. On the outside he checked my compressor, Freon levels, power flow, and talked me through some maintenance tips. At all times he was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
