    I have had to use Brocks service twice this summer to fix my a/c problems. When I first texted, Daniele was quick to respond from the office - very polite and professional. Brock came out the next day and diagnosed our problem quickly (he has a very impressive collection of gear). I really appreciated his patient explanation of the issue. He answered all my questions and provided some choices or options for how to proceed - best or less expensive - with the tradeoffs that come with choices. He is not the cheapest but I have learned over time that you get what you pay for, and pay for what you get. I have done cheap before and it doesnt always work out. Brock is responsive, professional, experienced, competent, as well as friendly! You need to have his company and phone number on your refrigerator!

I have been a long time client but I feel the need to write another review because every time Ive ever had an AC problem this company, the owners, and their staff so far exceed our expectations that I am overwhelmed with gratitude.We had an issue last week with our unit not working. They came out right away and addressed the problem and even brought us portable AC units to use in our home while they waited on the necessary parts. We were very thankful to be able to stay in our home.     Brock arrived within 2 hours of placing the service call on a Saturday. Within 45 minutes of arriving he diagnosed the problem and had the parts to replace the fan motor.     Got Better Than Best A/C contact information from my neighbors who highly recommended them for the work. Our AC unit fan stopped spinning. I flipped the breakers and still did not come on. I was worried that it was the fan motor. Called Better Than Best A/C and they promptly setup an appointment for an inspection. The tech showed up within 1 HOUR in 97 degree heat. He was very courteous and professional too! Within 20 minutes, he figured out it was the Capacitor and had one on the truck. Fixed the problem and checked the rest of the unit and was done in about 25 minutes total. They are reasonably priced and excellent customer service and response time. I have never had such a great experience in my life with any HVAC repair company. Better Than Best A/C is the BEST HVAC company in ALL of Houston!

    I just had my complete second floor system replaced by Better than Best. Brock and his team did a fantastic job! Brock showed me all the options, explained the differences and made some recommendations based on the challenges we had with inconsistent temperature across the rooms of the second floor, especially on very hot and very cold days. To my surprise, there were more expensive options in his bag, but he did not push them for my particular need. That said, he did an amazing job of explaining what the differences were, and how as well as how much they would help. In the end, I went with a very middle of the road system from a cost and efficiency stand point, and it was still less costly than the two entry level systems quoted to me be other highly rated companies in the area.Lastly, I will say Brock has been my go to tech for the entire 10 years I have lived in this area, both with his current business venture as well as his previous employer. He has always been extremely transparent with what was needed, what would be a nice to have and what is a luxury for my scenario.
