I got an appointment the next day. Quicker than I had expected. The tech arrived early in the morning, I called about a half hour before he expected to arrive. That was great. However, when I made the appointment and asked for a time window, the scheduler said only that the technician would call about a half hour before he was to arrive. I thought to myself that’s nice but potentially I might have to wait all day not having any idea when he might arrive without a Window.Anyway, your technician looked at the problem which was somewhat unusual and figured out several solutions. Prepared an estimate which was extremely expensive (7,000+) And I declined to go ahead with the repair.Conner was very polite, Knowledgeable, And helpful with finding an alternate solution.

Chris and Edgar were amazing. Really took the time to make sure the problem was properly identified and resolved before leaving. Great electricians and great customer service. And by the way….got same day service for a faulty smoke alarm that was triggering almost constantly for hours. They literally saved my sanity. I was due for my annual check up on my HVAC system so I made an appointment and within 90 minutes the technician was at my door to take care of business!I was amazed & happy at the same time. My technician was very thorough as well as courteous and very knowledgeable. Fortunately everything was fine and within an hour or so he finished and was on his merry way to the next customer.Thank you for being there!

I scheduled a service call to have a plumber come out and install (2) emergency cutoff valves on both of my toilets, I also needed a new float assembly in one of my toilets. Scheduling the service call online was seamless and easy to do. I had the plumber at my home today and he was very knowledgeable about how to fix everything I needed. He was fast but very thorough with everything. He cleaned up before he left and everything was as if he had not been here. I’m very pleased with the work he did and pleased with BERKEYS as well. This is the second time I’ve used them and I will continue. I highly recommend them as your service provider for any plumbing, electrical or AC problems you might encounter.

We highly recommend Berkeys for A/C & heating repairs. We had a previous contractor out on two occasions to fix an issue with our condensate line constantly dripping rusty water. This other contractor supposedly fixed the problem, but it continued to be an issue. Praimesh from Berkeys came out and identified that the drain pan was nearly rusted through and replaced it and flushed out the line saving us from a future larger problem! The other contractor never mentioned the pan was in that bad of shape even though we had asked!! Berkeys took care of the other issues we were having with heating and cooling as well and now everything is up and running well! Thank you Praimesh! Your expertise and thorough inspection is greatly appreciated!

On one of the coldest days in DFW we woke to find that all of our toilets would not flush. We called Berkeys and they sent Mark Fuentes to our home right away. He worked tirelessly to help, which took more than one day to do due to the weather and the need for the jet flushing machine with which he was able to use to complete the job next morning. We were impressed with Mark’s professionalism, competence and manner in explaining the problem and fixing it. He kept us informed of each step of the process with an eye to keeping our cost to the minimum. We truly appreciated the service from Berkeys and recommend them should you ever need a good and fair plumber.

I had a great experience with service from Berkeys! The process was smooth from beginning to end! Scheduling the service was easy - they called and offered me several time slots. They were also good with sending me confirmation and reminders about the appointment. They also kept me updated throughout the day even on the day of the appointment, letting me when I would be next. Then, they called about 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know they are heading my way. Once they got here, they were very respectful and very professional. Ive had multiple slvisits and employees provide different services over the last few years and I am pretty happy with them. Just had Tommy come out to give me a quote for replacing my ancient dishwasher with a new one. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Gave me several options as well as his recommendation. He pointed out that some parts of my old houses plumbing where no longer compatible with modern appliances and some safety valves would need to be replaced. Which a contracted installer would not be able to do. The price of the install was more than the dishwasher, though. Come to think of it, all their services are pretty expensive. I guess thats just how things are these days. Its not just health care costs that requires you to sell a kidney just to operate on the other kidney anymore. You need to get an home equity loan just to replace an appliance these days.

I have only used Berkeys since about 2017. It is the best electric company I have found. John came recently for my smoke detector that was malfunctioning and installed a new one. He explained all the ins and outs of how to function. Cole came a few months back for my kitchen and living room when a number of outlets would not work. He fixed them and explained why they were not functioning properly. Back in 2017 I had a unique issue in a my concrete slab floor outlet where water was actually getting into it from underground. The Berkeys electrician also fixed that no problem. Overall, this is the only company I use for electrical services.

I had a electrical emergency. Berkeys showed up first thing a.m. customer service follow ups were amazing and informative on driver eta. Chris Kohr listened, assessed carefully, identified the electrical wiring in plugs sparking, some melting and shared his suggestion for short term and long term options. We went with long term to fix the problem and get the plugs up to code aimce my house was old and to keep us safe. He called in help with Nick Martinez, they both were professional, friendly, they handled the logistics of furniture and what rooms to take on around me working from home and two other house members that had to work around their job and take off to get their things cleared . The teamwork, the patience and suupport these two presented was A+ star rating and steller representation to Berkeys. Well done a full days job on a day of very low temps here in Dallas / Ft Worth Texas.. Chris even knew how to work around my dog who had surgery and had to stay calm. Job well done from these two. Using Berkeys was so fast and convenient! My outdoor outlets weren’t powering my Christmas lights so it was a serious emergency! I contacted Berkeys the Monday before Thanksgiving and got a same-day appointment! They gave me consistent updates on the technician’s ETA and even gave me a tracking link with the ETA included. The electrician was so nice and fixed the issue right away. He had all the necessary tools. Derrick O came out and was extremely professional, respectful and highly educated in the realm of plumbing. I got a bid a day before from a competitor, where I was misinformed and was not provided much explanation aside from a very LARGE repair estimate. Although the estimate was just as large with Derrick he provided extreme detail into not only the process but how we came to where we are. Although I am not happy with the amount, I felt very comfortable agreeing since I was provided with such knowledge and care. He takes great pride in his work and efforts and it truly shows! Great Job Berkeys hard workers are hard to come by but Derrick far exceeds those expectations!

I hardly ever write reviews but I needed to write this one! We had Daniel out tonight at my parents house and he was just phenomenal. The toilet in my parents house needed to be replaced but there was an issue with installing it. My parents have had 4 other plumbers come out, look at it for a few minutes, tell them they needed to buy a certain tool needed and left. DANIEL came in, checked it out, talked to my dad and answered every question asked (it was a lot my dad likes to talk.) and then preceded to let us know he could take care of it. All of the other plumbers said it would take 3-4 hrs, Daniel was done in less than two. Berkeys scheduling system and followup communication were excellent. The Technician they sent, Daniyl Mendez, was very friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and also made the temporary repair quickly (unclogged drain) to get us going again. More extensive repairs had to be made to permanently fix the issue, so he developed a quote on the spot for digging out the problem area and replacing the crushed/broken pipe and clear out some roots. It was helpful to be able to actually look at a live video of the collapsed area and roots.Berkeys has the equipment and technology resources to get the job done correctly, quickly and they stand behind their work. We are satisfied customers.

Our experience with Mark Derby could not have been any better. For starters, Mark was friendly,courteous, professional, and very competent. He explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions completely and patiently. We had a terrible time consuming struggle with the credit bureau unlocking our credit report (frozen due to multiple hacks of our data). It was 6pm and took over an hour to unlock. Mark could not have been more patient. This even though he and his family were leaving very early the next morning to drive eleven hours to visit family for Christmas, and his drive home from our home was an hour and a half. Mark also rushed our installation into two days to accommodate our travel plans. We would recommend Mark and Berkeys to everyone.

Woke up to water flowing out of my garage after my water heater tank sprung a leak. Berkeys came out, gave me a quote and the new water heater was installed the next day. I watched the entire process and learned quite a bit from the two installation techs. They were both polite, knowledgeable and worked quickly and efficiently as a team. As the water heater was 20 years old, there were several items that needed to be brought up to code. They also installed PVC piping from the drip pan right out of my garage so if it leaks in the future all the water will be directed away from my home. I would highly recommend Berkeys for water heater replacement. They might not be the cheapest, but they were reasonable and you ultimately pay for what you get.

Micheal came out at 10:30 at night to help with a clogged toilet. He was fast, did a great job and was beyond nice! Berkeys definitely has our business for all plumbing needs. Not sure if you can request a plumber but if you can definitely would recommend Micheal!

On January 26, 2025, during the NFL games, I experienced a plumbing emergency: my bathroom toilet overflowed with clean water while the washing machine and dishwasher were running and my spouse was showering. I contacted Berkeys Air Conditioning, Plumbing at approximately 1:47 PM. Thankfully, Lonnie Hale arrived around 5 PM that Sunday. He was extremely professional and thorough, reminding me of Richard Trethewey from This Old House. who also does American plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.Lonnie used a snake and a camera to inspect the sewer line, initially encountering a blockage about 4-5 feet in. After we ran the shower and flushed the toilets as he requested, he was able to clear the blockage and discovered two cracks in the 4-inch PVC pipe. The sewer line runs from my flower bed, making two turns before connecting to the main line, and Lonnies video and images showed the cracked pipe and some root intrusion a few feet further down. The repair will involve digging into my flower bed, damaging about 3-5 feet of new Zoysia grass, and is estimated to cost under $4,000. The repair is scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2025. I am going to make sure that they try to cut my Zoysia grass in pieces so that I can place it back.

Berkey’s never fails! I requested an appointment early Saturday morning to have our gas fireplace pilot repaired, and the technician, Devin, was here by 11. He fixed the pilot and had the fireplace up and running in less than 15 minutes for only $69. Other places (specializing in fireplaces) quoted $250 just for a service call and couldn’t book us until mid December. This is the third time we’ve called Berkey’s and have received the same stellar service every time. Bonus: Devin was professional, kind, friendly, helpful and patient! Such a sweet guy.
