Over five days, they dispatched five different technicians, none of whom were willing to work on our roof due to its steep slope. At this point, we reached out to Maurice from Bennetts Best A/C Experts. The warranty company only allowed him to replace the compressor, despite his recommendation for a full unit replacement. Predictably, the compressor fix was short-lived and the A/C went out again after two weeks. Maurice was back at our doorstep on the same day, ready to help. Despite Maurices dedication, the warranty company refused to let him work on the property and insisted on sending their own technicians. Yet again, none of their workers would climb onto our roof. After much frustration, the warranty company finally sent someone willing to work on the roof. They agreed to replace the unit and cover a $3,000 part of the cost while we had to pay the rest out-of-pocket. The technician they sent, however, did not inspire confidence and I was uncomfortable having him around my family. Thus, I turned to Maurice once more. His quote was higher than the $3000 the warranty company was offering, but it included more efficient equipment and much cleaner installation. I was also expected to pay the other technician an additional $2,500 for various services. In the end, I opted for Maurice. It might have cost a bit more, but the results were worth it. Moreover, Maurice introduced us to the HERO program, which allowed us to take a small loan against our property taxes, a cost we could write off. Now, three years later, our A/C system is running perfectly. We are incredibly grateful to Maurice for his honesty, dedication, and genuine care for his clients. Bennetts Best A/C Experts did a great job installing a condensate pump for my split unit, which had been set up incorrectly by a previous contractor. The cost was $1,000 for three hours of work, including the pump. Initially, when I booked the appointment, I was assured that the technician would bring a pump. However, the tech arrived without one, seemed unfamiliar with my unit (despite me providing all the details), and charged me a $140 service fee just to take pictures to show back at the office. I believe that fee should have been applied to the actual work done since he was there for only 15 minutes. Fast forward a year later, and I can say their techs are excellent. Unfortunately, the condensate pump failed. I reached out and easily scheduled an appointment within a week. I made it clear that the pump wasn’t working, and they had the details on the type and brand of pump. I asked if a technician would be prepared to fix it instead of having someone come to diagnose and then schedule another visit. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. I paid $160 just for them to confirm that we needed a new pump. Then, I had to schedule another appointment to replace the pump, which was still under warranty. So, that was $160 to verify what I already knew, plus another $240 in labor for less than an hour of work. In total, I spent $400 to replace a pump under warranty. I really appreciate their techs and the quality of their work, but I’m not a fan of their service model that requires separate charges for diagnosis and repairs.

Installation of new furnace, air conditioner, and water heater into a small closet. Our salesman Derrick was good with his no high pressured sales pitch to the excellent pricing. Our installers Josh and Bruce were professional, dedicated, and knowledgeable. What should have taken an 8 hour day ended taking 14 hours because the standard 20 inch water heater wouldn’t fit in our closet. Our installers had to stop installation until the search for a water heater that fit could be found. Eventually a water heater was found. After running after it they were able to finish the installation. Josh and Bruce stayed on even though hungry and tired to see the job was complete to their and our own satisfaction. A job well done. I appreciate their hard work and dedication on completing the job not leaving us with no heat and no water.
