Then when he went and got parts, were wrong and couldn’t fix issue.Still had to pay $190. You can do better.Update: Baker Brothers reached out and refunded the charge.Good customer service.

Wes knew that I had a very large original estimate for sewer repair and came out himself and looked at it. Not only was his quote lower he stayed true to his word and came in $3,500 below the original estimate I received. Colton and his work partner came out and did the work and they had the best customer service. They were there on time, they were friendly, and they left my yard as best I could considering all the work they had to do.

I used Baker Brothers recently for plumbing and I was a little hesitant, since I had two plumbing companies come out prior for my repair. I was very happy with how easy it was to get a person on the phone and schedule the appointment. The communication from the time I made my appointment to the time the technicians arrived was excellent. The technicians gave me a thorough explanation of what was wrong with pictures and gave me options to resolve. Once we decided to do the repairs, they spent all day working on the repairs. I also received more pictures of the repair work that was completed once they finished and I only paid once the repair work was completed to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, one of the connections broke loose during the night; however, I called early in the morning and they same tech came out the next day to fix the connection and provided pictures of what failed and what was fixed. They tested the water pressure and connections one last time and I have had no issues. I think you get what you pay for and I was happy with the level of service I received for what I spent. I will use them again.

Our AC went out and we initially reached out to Reliant, as their information is on the unit. Their service tech charged us $100. He was in and out pretty quickly. We were told it was the evaporative coil and the repair was $1400, including the part being under warranty. I reached out to a family friend, David Wilson, and he was able to get a tech to our house in less then 2 hours. Miguel, our tech, was there for hours. And determined that it wasnt the evaporative coil but instead the meter. They cane out without a charge and gave us a free second opinion. Im sure glad we did. They had the repair done the following day. Miguel was awesome and explained it in detail. Outstanding service! Highly recommend!

Andrew G. in Fort Worth was called to our home to cap the gas line behind the gas range, so we can convert to an electric range. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to understand our full situation and provide the best options for us to move forward with a decision.Andrew is a great listener who makes sure he has a full understanding before providing feedback. He also made sure we were well-informed of how to make sure we are getting the best ventilation in the home when cooking, as well as things to consider that we were not aware of, such as it is recommended to always have the vent fan on when cooking but actually required when using a gas stove.Andrew is an asset to this company, and we are thankful he was the one to address and correct our concerns. I had scheduled semi-annual HVAC inspection for 6/24 several weeks ago. Baker Bros is good about letting us know when a tech is enroute but today, I called the office @ 3:30 because I had not heard anything. The techs had been tied up on emergency AC calls because of the high temps in the metroplex, but a tech will be out later this evening. Since mine was a routine service call, I was fine with that. David Juanes arrived @ 8:00 pm and completed the AC check thoroughly and efficiently, and informed us of his findings. He even put us on the reminder schedule for Dec check. We trust Baker Brothers service.

A slow-moving leak developed at the pex tee fitting on the hot water outlet line. The hot water outlet line from the water heater to the fitting was copper, and the fitting to the rest of the house was PVC. The seal between the PVC and plastic was cracked. This was bound to happen given the age of the fitting (about 15 years), and the fact a polar vortex hit two months prior.I was tempted to fix it myself, but my fifteen-year-old Bradford White 40,000 BTU 50 Gallon water hear (Model No. MI5036FBN) was also on its last legs (heater struggled to keep water hot, hot water ran out quickly, water was cloudy), and the cold-water inlet valve was rusted shut. It was time to call in the pros, and I am glad that I did!I made a call at 7:00a in the morning on April 23, 2021. The dispatcher could not promise nor guarantee a time, other than the technician would come after 11:00a. However, dispatcher told me that the technician would text me about 30 minutes before arrival.Baker Brothers delivered. Julio Lara-Guerra the technician (along with another gentleman, cannot remember his name) arrived at 11:00a on the dot. Also, I received a text message 30 minutes before from the company. It included Julios picture and brief bio.Julio was awesome. He replaced the old water heater, which was located on the second floor, with a RHEEM PRO+G50-40N RH62 40,000 BTU 50 Gallon water heater (which comes with a 12 year warranty). Not only that, Julio replumbed the cold-water inlet, and hot water outlet, complete with new valves and steel connectors, as well as replumbing the gas line, and replacing the drip pan. The old water heater was hauled away. All of this was done in about 90 minutes.I ended up paying $1,847 including tax.

Kason fixed a slab leak in record time. My cost was less than 1/5 of what I had been quoted at a leading competitor. He was polite, efficient, knowledgable, and saved me thousands of dollars. Next time I have plumbing issues, Im calling Baker Brothers again and requesting Kason. You should too.

UPDATE: After talking with someone from the corporate office (phone customer service continued to be unhelpful), we received a fix to our issue. They sent out a senior tech, James, who was amazing and worked very hard to fix our issue. Thank you Baker Brothers for making this right!My husband and I got an entirely new AC system roughly 2.5 years ago. The new system included new ducts, new external system, new everything. It cost close to 20k. Our AC just broke lat weekend, again only 2.5 years old. Bakers Brothers said it was not on them even though their work doesnt meet code.We had an unbiased, third party person come and assess the damage. They shared multiple items that were not up to code from BBs previous work. They shared that multiple items were going to need to be completely replaced due to the wear and tear. They stated that our unit looks over 15 years old and has worn down so quickly due to BBs poor work and lack of code compliance.Baker Brothers basically said stuff breaks when we called to discuss how to make this error right. We have been quoted between 12k and 15k to get our AC unit up and running again...2.5 years after paying roughly 20k.

We came home from our vacation to find our sink leaking pretty heavily when we used it. This was our kitchen sink so we wanted the problem solved as soon as possible. The customer service worker who answered our call said they can get someone out to our house that same day. Curtis and Jeffery showed up just a few hours later ready to help us. Had a great experience with Baker Brothers. First time I’ve used them. Recommended by my realtor. Very professional and polite. Scheduling appointment was simple and they did everything they said and exactly what I expected, which is very rare these days. I’m very picky, but these guys are great. Cody and Mando called an hour before my appointment to let me know when they’d arrive. They quickly diagnosed my system leak in front yard, completely different than what City of Frisco public works told me when they came out. They fixed the leak which was a broken sprinkler system valve and replaced the dirt and grass where I couldn’t even tell they had dug it up. Great job guys. Very satisfying. Thank you. I just wish more companies would learn how to treat customers.

Josh did an amazing job figuring out the problem with our difficult AC unit. He came out to do adjustments multiple times until we were happy with the result. Even more he found a creative solution that did not cost extra to install and fixed our problem so now all rooms upstairs and downstairs get cooled equally. I had not used Baker Bros. before. I am glad I called them. The tech showed up when he said he would. I was send a message and a picture on who to expect. When he got there he was polite, professional and knew what he was doing. I do not know ac systems so he could have tried to rip me off, but that was not the case. He said he suspected what was wrong, made the repairs and was right on the money. He came back the next day and although i tried to pay him for another call out, he refused and my ac was working great. I am going to have a cool summer no matter how hot the weather. The leak is in the foundation cement slab and leaks anytime that the water main is turned on. Naturally, this creates a since of urgency as we are without water until this is repaired.A priority was to get my insurance adjuster out & to get estimates of cost as quickly as possible.My call to Baker Brothers Plumbing for an estimate went very smooth. Daniel with Baker Brothers was dispatched to my home the next day. Daniel was very attentive, professional & knowledgeable. I received a written estimate from Daniel the same day. There was no charge for the visit or the estimate. Excellent so far.

Tyler arrived and put his shoe covers on before coming in. Very professional. Because I have a 1948 house that had A/C installed in the 50s and replaced again 10 years ago with another commercial unit, Baker Brothers was not able to help me. They did spend time trying to diagnose the issue and offered suggestions, but they are residential and had to leave without working on it. I appreciate their honesty and they are welcome in my house anytime! Give them a call.

Today Jake & the other technician were friendly efficient & did a professional job installing my new water heater! I called Baker brothers yesterday & got my appliance installed next day , so they were thoughtful about being available around my schedule so that I didn’t have to take additional time off work; usually I have to be inconvenienced as the customer, but Not today! Also, I called today to arrange for a technician & they were able to have a person come out Same day within hours of my call ; Jonathan handled a different problem with a faucet plumbing issue & again he was professional & courteous & explained to me the issue that I’d had another plumbing Co repair twice& were about to charge me a 3rd time for the same issue to come out a 3rd time. But I chose to use Baker brothers because of the great experience I had w / Jake & the technician (sorry -I didn’t get his name) -w/ him today! now That’s Customer care& True Service! Marcus Ortiz is a true professional drain specialist, and was called in to clear our drains between our washing machine and kitchen sink. He was courteous, energetic, worked efficiently and quickly, explained everything to us and showed us on the video camera the funk along the pipe walls. I highly recommend him and we scheduled a full power washing to clean out grease & gunk, showing us the difference through the camera and will add it to an annual or 1.5 yr. maintenance plan as we have had issues before & no other plumber offered that service. We will request him in the future, although we’ve had great experiences with any Baker Brothers professional, and we’ve had many issues come up lately.

Of course it was a much larger problem than anticipated but after deciding on the best option, he completed the job as quickly as he could. He worked solidly for two hours handling the problem; a problem necessitating our shutting our water down until service arrived, until service evaluated the problem, and until service completed the needed repair. I was extremely impressed by Armando as being excellent in his trade and very impressed by his service. As a result, I will only call Baker brothers for plumbing and electric needs.

We currently rely on Baker Bros for all of out plumbing and AC needs after going through years of missed appointments, discourteous and sometimes dirty workers, and high prices. I have full faith in the company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking a professional job at a reasonable price.

These guys were a revelation for this type of service. I was literally shocked at how good AND affordable they were. Im a consumer crumudgeon and research the hell out of things like this. Plus I have higher than average DIY Skills. BB were on time and kept me informed on their arrival. Once they arrived and we did our walk through Buddy gave me a fast precise and economically rational estimate for the work needed. I had them tackle 4 issues in a recently purchased home. They started immediately and had all materials needed in stock on their truck. The price was great and so was the workmanship and speed of execution.Baker Bros Price was a third of the estimate I got from another DFW metro area company. I can only assume the other company really didnt want the business based on the out of whack estimates they gave me.One of the jobs the competitor gave me was $1100 estimate to execute (install a new kitchen sink, replace water shutoff valves and install faucet on the sink) I ended up doing it myself.I had Baker Bros handle the more difficult jobs outside my DIY comfort zone. Their total bill for 4 items, one of which was many times more complex than a kitchen sink and faucet replacement was less than $1100. Other Company estimated north of $3K. Crazy difference between these 2 companies. ~Caveat EmptorI also signed up for Baker Bros annual maintenance plan which was half the same type plan at the first estimate company and it saved me 15% same day on the work they performed. Well worth the time spent to type this very verbose review😉☆☆☆☆☆

Travis did a superb job of troubleshooting my HVAC system and after thoroughly explaining all the deficiencies that were found I decided to upgrade and he was able to make arrangements to have a new system installed on the same day. Javier and Julio came to do the install and were very courteous and professional and worked tirelessly till almost 10:30pm to get the job done. When they were finished they walked me through all the work that was performed as well as all the features of the new system. For those of you with asthma and/or allergies I would strongly recommend adding both the UV feature, which sterilizes the air, and the humidity control feature which allows you to separately control the humidity level in the house. Also, I’m not sure if all their systems are eligible but I was able to get a $500 Oncor discount with the system I purchased.

I initially gave Baker Brothers a 1 star scathing review. I have now changed this to 4 stars. When my issue was not resolved after 2 visits, I had a pretty bad taste in my mouth about Baker Brothers. Several weeks passed by and I received an email from Jimmy Dale, president of Baker Brothers. I figured it was automated and left it marinating in my inbox, scowling every time I saw it, crafting the best possible response in my mind. Today I finally sent my response to Jimmys email. I didnt think anyone would answer it. To my surprise, Jimmy himself called me back personally, within half an hour. When I spoke with Jimmy, he made it right. In my opinion, everyone is doomed to make mistakes, but an honest company makes it right and Jimmy is personally invested his time to do so. I will trust Baker Brothers again for future plumbing needs.
