We had a great experience with Awesome Air. I did a lot of research on this before going with Awesome Air. They installed a new AC unit along with a new furnace and thermostat. Pattie and Mark kept me updated on my order as it progressed. The team installed the equipment in less time than expected. Everything looks great. The system is working excellent. I highly recommend.

Mark and Awesome air have been servicing my HVAC systems for over 10 years. About 6 years back, Mark and Awesome Air replaced my lower HVAC system. This summer, while I had guests in town for a wedding, my upstairs unit starting acting up. Mark came by and got me operational again until we could get the 23 year old system replaced. Now that the heat of summer has passed, we replaced that tired old unit. The team that arrived was punctual, courteous and very professional. They were extremely careful, placing canvas tarps from my front door, to the stairs, up the stairs and down a long hallway to the upstairs HVAC system. They even removed their shoes! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The install went without incident, Mark and Pattie came by to do a final check, walk me through the system and answer any questions. They truly care about your situation and work with you to get you back running without the sales pressure to replace or buy what you dont need.There may be bigger companies, but I can tell you without a doubt, there are NOT better ones. Mark and Pattie generally care about you as a customer, If you need HVAC service or that old tired unit is ready for an upgrade, look no further. With over 4 decades of experience, Mark knows his stuff. I cannot recommend Awesome Air any higher, my apologies to the other guys, but these guys are simply AWESOME!

Awesome Air did an outstanding job replacing my 35 year old AC and furnace. Not only did they have the lowest estimate, installation was professionally done and completed as scheduled. Mark and Pattie were great to work with. They truly care about you and your family, something you dont see very often. The Lord puts people in our lives to ease our mind during stressful times and blesses you with gifts that sometimes goes unnoticed. Just want you to know I noticed. Thank you. Awesome Air is Awesome! I have been using Awesome Air for 10 years. Mark and Patty are definitely the best. Why? Because they treat each customer like family. They understand what its like when your A/C stops working. They know you want it fixed quickly. The other day I had a unit stop working and I called them at about 10 AM. They had me up and running that afternoon. They are an honest and a quality company. They have always treated me fairly, have fair prices and truly care about me being completely satisfied. Our 22-yr old unit finally started giving out and we called Awesome Air at the recommendation of two neighbors. They came out promptly and gave us a reasonable quote to replace the unit, plus a 5-yr service warranty. We scheduled for them to come out a week later and then the AC completely stopped. Mark, the owner, came over the next day and was able to do a quick fix, which we really appreciated. The day of the install was quick and smooth and Pattie, co-owner, came out to inspect. Mark and Pattie are a great team who go above and beyond. Theyre accessible, knowledgeable and caring about their customers. The company lives up to their name - awesome.

Mark and Awesome Heating and Air installed my Trane 3 ton unit back in May of 2019. Fast forward 1 year later and I had an issue with my drain line. Even though this particular item was not typically a warranty covered issue, Mark sent a service tech who was highly professional and knowledgeable. They solved the issue in no time and he didn’t even charge me because Awesome Heating and Air stands behind their work. Mark business name fits him as a business owner because he is AWESOME! From the initial install to helping his customer a year later, Mark and Awesome Heating and Air are head and shoulders above the rest. Mark is very detailed and truly cares about his customers. Awesome Heating and Air will not disappoint! They are definitely in a class by themselves!🙏😇👍

I had 2 aging A/C systems that I decided to replace with new Trane units based on great experiences in 2 previous houses. Got quotes from several local dealers. I selected Awesome Air based on their very reasonable quote and discussions with Mark about the details of the process. Everything happened exactly on schedule, the installers were great and the equipment works great. Cant believe how much cooler and quieter the house is. Highly recommend based on my experience.

I was referred to Mark at Awesome Air 5 years ago when I needed to replace my old heat pump system. Mark provide a fair quote and he and his team did a great job on the installation. Whenever we have had an issue since then they have always been responsive. I recently had Mark come by for a spring checkup on our system and he found a problem. He was completely booked at the time but wanted to see that we were taken care of so he contacted another firm that he knows well and arranged for them to come do the repair. So instead of having to wait, the problem was taken care of the next day. Thats the kind of service that has been my experience with Awesome Air and I highly recommend them.

Awesome Air was great to work with. Mark & Patti came out and gave us a good estimate - no game playing - just laid it all out. They told it straight and then followed through on what they said. The installers were courteous, friendly and communicated well with us. They even went above and beyond chiseling open our air filter that last year’s installer mistakenly sealed shut. We love our Trane system and are grateful to have it installed before summer heat sets in. We had another provider replace our other unit last year, and while they did a fine job, they did not offer a competitive bid until after Awesome Air. Save yourself time and effort - call Awesome Air, support small business and enjoy keeping cool!

I have known Mark and Patty for 19 years, and they are the type of people you want to know at taking care of your heating and cooling problems. They are very knowledgeable in repairs and letting you know exactly what you need to make sure everything is working properly. They will not over sale and over charge for their services. I had to bite the bullet, and had to replace my heating and cooling system after 35 years. I contacted 3 companies in the Austin area, and the bids were high. I thought of contacting Marc, the owner, and he came to my house. He advised me to get a bigger unit, he crawled into my attic, and looked at the insulation. He sent me 3 bids. I felt they more than reasonable. We set a date, his crew came, and they introduced themselves, and got to work. I have been very satisfied with the work. What impressed me, was the fact, he not only wanted the business, but he also told me how I could benefit with a bigger unit. All I can say about them, they were awesome.

Update to review:Just wanted to update my review to reflect the outstanding service I have continued to receive from Awesome Air. Since my review from a little over a year ago, Awesome Air replaced my downstairs HVAC unit (late Aril 2021). In replacing that unit, they dealt with some highly complicated venting issues caused by an incorrectly installed hot water heater (by another contractor) that shares a closet with the HVAC unit. As before, Mark and Patti (and their entire team) were absolutely *amazing* to deal with. I am generally a skeptical person (having practiced law for almost 35 years), but I can say, without reservation, that I trust them %100.But wait, there is more! A few weeks ago, I noticed some water leaking slowly into my garage ceiling. My upstairs HVAC unit was directly above the drip location in the garage, so I called Awesome Air. It was a Friday morning during their peak season, but Mark and Patti showed up at my house before the end of their very long day (event though I told them there was no hurry) and flushed the drain pipes and put additional insultation around some internal piping. Mark even came back to my house late in the evening just to give me a new filter for the unit so I wouldnt have to go out and get one myself (I was keeping some of my grandkids at the time). Even though this was not warranty work (and two separate trips were made to my house that day), they charged me nothing! This level of service is almost unheard of in this day and age.If you have need of an HVAC team, you will not be disappointed in Awesome Air. THANK YOU AWESOME AIR!Original review from 2020: Awesome Air just replaced a 22+ year old Trane AC unit/furnace at my home. At 60 years of age, this was my very first HVAC purchase. Mark and Pattie, the owners of the company, were indeed awesome during the entire process. They were responsive to my many questions/concerns and modified their quote to add some items suggested by another contractor. They seemed genuinely concerned that I had the right unit for my needs/home. I got three quotes. Awesome Airs quote was about the same as one contractor, but less than the other. However, Awesome Air offered additional warranties that neither of the other contractors had.Most importantly, I felt Mark and Pattie and their team were trustworthy and would be there for any post-purchase questions, repairs, maintenance. The installation took less than 5 hours and the installers were professional and courteous and left my home cleaner than it was before they arrived. I live in a 2 story townhouse built in 1974 , AC unit in both Lower and Upper stories so every thing is old, Mark has been taking care of my stuff for the last 5 years. He has make several repairs and now has replace both units. The lower unit 2 years ago and the upper unit last week. I called Mark at Awesome and he came out the same day. He did an estimate that day and I called another AC person and it took 3 days for him to come out. When I received both estimates, I went with Awesome as always.Let me tell you how I always work with Awesome. I made arrangements with Mark which day he could come out, I always give him a key to my my townhouse because I am working across town and on the assigned day the crew showed up, completed the job, cleaned up and disposed of the old unit. New units is working fine, He always leaves the key on my kitchen cabinet with a statement and locks the door . I send him a check. It works good for me and I always am please with the quality of the work. The clean up is better than if I did it myself. I trust him and believe in Mark at Awesome. I have used Awesome Air two times now. The first time was 9 years ago when my home system completely failed. Mark and team worked with me to find the best balance between what the size of my house needed and the size of my budget which was very, very small at that time in my life. They installed everything quickly and completely and I enjoyed an issue-free system for 9 years. This year during the heat waves of our relentless Texas summer, the outdoor unit stopped working. I called Awesome and was happy to hear that though they couldnt get to me that same day, they would be sure to come by and try to get me cooling the next day. Mark came as promised and within a couple of hours my house was cool! Turns out that it was some worn out wiring. The unit didnt even need any freon! I am so happy to have found a provider that offers great equipment and installation that lasts!!!!!! Thank you Mark, Peggy and Awesome Air and Heat!!!!

Awesome Air installed a new air conditioning and heating system to replace our existing system from 1977 2 years ago.Part of the package of the new installation is 3 free biannual inspection of our AC/H systems, including the other one that they didnt install. I called early morning Mar 7 to schedule my free check-up and they came that same afternoon. The new system is in perfect shape and does not need any addition of refrigerant.I am pleased by their honoring their promised free maintenance check-up and their prompt service. I am also impressed by their original installation that showed no sign of leakage after 2 years. Mark and Patty, the owner of the company, are also pleasant to work with.Great job and thank you, Mark and Patty.

They installed my upstairs a/c unit in 2016 and did a fantastic job at a fair competitive price. When my second a/c unit located downstairs in my home stopped working recently, I contacted Mark again. Mark and Patty did a LOT of research and took a lot of measurements to find a unit that would fit into the ceiling where the existing non-working (and I think original to the home) unit was located. When he found one up north, he ordered it for me. He did all this work for a very fair price. When it was time to install the unit, Mark was there from beginning to end making sure his team did a great job which they did.Mark and Patty and their team are extremely professional, honest, great communicators, and fast. They make sure everything is done to their high standards and they made sure I was happy with how everything looked and worked at the end. Awesome Air is the best - dont waste your time looking anywhere else.

He is very knowledgeable and is providing the recommendations of units to fit my needs but not to sell me a high price item. I feel very respected during the communication of the quoting process.* With the few quotes I have, the pricing and service terms from Awesome Air are definitely very competitive.* The installation process took only half a day but there was a cable problem in my house. It took additional few hours to identify the problem and fix it. There is no complaint and no additional charge.* Pattie is very patient with my questions and is very proactive to help me with the paperwork. It is definitely a step beyond my expectation.I highly recommend Awesome Air.

I generally do not write reviews but had such a terrific experience with Awesome Air that I felt compelled to write this one. I wasn’t seriously considering purchasing a Trane HVAC but after several conversations in which Mark shared his extensive knowledge on Trane and other systems, I decided to purchase a Trane. From the beginning of the experience, I was so impressed with Awesome Air’s customer service. Besides the knowledge they shared with me, they were very, very patient in answering all of my questions and I had many. They also took a lot of time in helping me decide upon the right system for my house, explaining the pros and cons of each one. Mark communicated constantly with me throughout the experience and made me feel like I could call him at any time and I did. For example, at the last minute, I changed my mind about the choice of furnace and Mark went the extra mile to find the model I wanted in this time of HVAC shortages.Mark and his wife, Pattie, are warm, friendly, down to earth people who are knowledgeable, honest and upfront. They provided options for the system I purchased but did not try to upsell anything and were very open about this during our conversations. Additionally, I did not have to pay until installation was complete and to my satisfaction, a sign of trust between Awesome Air and their customers. I got several bids for the HVAC system and Awesome Air gave me the best price, coming in a little less than their competitors and also offering a complimentary 5 year service labor warranty and complimentary 3 year service agreement.Installation of the entire HVAC system went smoothly and took about 6 hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. During this time, the space for the furnace was enlarged, the platform on which it sat rebuilt, and other furnace-related improvements made. Plus, the ac unit was installed outside and 10 new ceiling & wall grills were installed. (Love these new grills compared to my old ones; much more air out is blown out.) The installation crew’s work was outstanding! Plus, floors were covered and they cleaned up before leaving and Pattie checked their work. She also downloaded files to the new wi-fi thermostat, which BTW is really cool, and gave me an overview in how to use it.Finally, I knew my old AC was on its last leg but I was hoping to make it until the day the new Trane was installed but no such luck. Four days before installation, my old system was no longer adequately cooling. I called Mark and he came out immediately to work on the unit, not once but twice in the same day so that I wouldn’t suffer in the heat and did not charge for this emergency service. This action along with the other quality services he and his team provided exemplify Awesome Air’s exceptional and honest customer service. Thank you, Awesome Air for making my experience a very positive one. You have definitely earned me as a repeat customer.

Extremely happy with Awesome Air. My 88 year old mother needed a whole new HVAC system. They treated her with kid gloves and made sure she was very happy. A few days after installation my mother had a concern about a smell. Mark and crew showed up to check things out and when they left mom was happy again having identified it as simply that new system smell that she was unused to having had a system that was 20 years old before. All this at a price that was way below nearest bid but not below on quality since the system was name brand and work was above excellent.Awesome Air was a recommendation from a friend and Ill continue to pass the word around myself.

We recently had to replace a 12 year old AC system and received a very competitive bid from Awesome Air. Awesome Air is really awesome. Both Mark and Patty took care of our air conditioner issues immediately and efficiently after we called them by being on time, professional, and supportive with every bit of information, and more. Mark and Patty not only answered our questions, but also explained to us important information about our new air conditioner unit. The compressor, air handler, and materials were delivered to the house the day prior to installation. On installation day the working crew were very professional and efficient from the beginning to the end of the job. They were on the go, busy, and on target every minute of the job. The moving of all the materials to the second floor of the house, and then through the narrow ladder that led to the attic was smooth, careful, and clean. The installed units look beautiful in our attic, as well as the outside. Our house now feels simply better than ever with our new AC. Mission well accomplished Mark, Patty, and your working crew!

Awesome air installed a new downstairs HVAC systems in our house in 2020 just before Covid hit. The upstairs unit was replaced in 2019 by another company that did a fine job. For the downstairs system, we had the 2019 firm bid, another provider, and Awesome Air. Awesome Air responded with the best price and the most common sense and practical tweaks to the installation and did a great job. They were friendly (read jovial or fun), on-time, and did a great job.I recently had them out to service both systems with a check-up. They serviced both systems and replaced some parts gratis that were causing some minor leaks on the system they didnt install. Mark also gave some great pointers on upkeep and maintenance.I like working with local people that we can build a relationship with and I feel like we found that with Mark and Awesome Air. Ive recommended them to several friends and co-workers confident they would service them in a manner to reflect well on my recommendation.

I decided to replace my HVAC system proactively after 17 years of great service and so was able to get a number of quotes for different systems (heat pump, etc.) from 5 different companies and had the time to evaluate all my options before making a decision. I found that Awesome Air & Heating (Mark Norton) provided very competitive pricing along with knowledge of the various systems pluses and minuses. The installation went much quicker than I expected (4-5 hrs) and everything looked very professional and neat including the removal and replacement of the attic stairs. The site clean up and removal of all the old equipment was also top notch. They also provide a 5 year labor warranty (others provide only 1-2 years) as well as a 3 year service agreement. I would highly recommend Awesome Air & Heat.

We were seeking a company that specializes in Trane air conditioners (Consumer Reports consistently ranks Trane at the top for performance and reliability), and I found them through the Trane website. They ONLY have 5 star Google reviews, and LOTS of them!Mark and Patti gave us a great price when compared with another reputable Trane specialist in the area. Mark’s installation team did high quality work, and Mark is willing and able to explain the why behind EVERYTHING if you have questions (my husband and I always have plenty).Mark is knowledgeable and has decades of experience in the industry. He is worth consideration if you want a high quality unit with top notch installation at a fair price for something you value greatly (your comfort). His price is his price, but it’s fair, and we’re personally happy to pay our tradespeople what they are worth to do things we cannot. 🙂

Awesome Air definitely lives up to its name! First of all, the owners deal with you one on one. So you have thier undivided attention. They only advised us on what we needed for our new A.C., heater and compressor and did not try to up sell us on anything extra. They were transparent on every aspect of the process and kept us up to date on everything . I never had to follow up! Awesome air offers the best prices in town and the best customer service by far!!! The men who installed the unit were very professional and quiet while installing all the units. Right after the installation was complete, on the same day, the owners came by to inspect the work and explained how the high tech thermostat worked. This is the best experience I’ve had with any service company! I highly recommend them!

I enjoyed working with Mark and Pattie of Awesome Air to get my home HVAC units replaced. They were very knowledgeable and offered information I had not gotten from other bids. From simple things, like raising the furnace on a wood frame (for easier access to the filter) to suggesting options for creating more free-flowing return air. They even (thankfully) kept me from making a potential mistake by providing me insights I had not considered. They are willing to discuss your ideas and will shoot you straight.Installation was a breeze. Yusaun and his crew were in and out in no time at all and left everything clean as well as answered any questions I had.After installation, I noticed that the outdoor unit had a minor factory cosmetic defect that had been missed. The top bit of the outdoor unit rested slightly crooked on the rest of the body. Look at the next paragraph to know more about the stellar initial work performed by Mark and the Awesome Heating and Air team, but wanted to say upfront that a year after my job Mark has supported me in a very real way. After the recent winter storms, I found that a roofing contractor had removed my furnace vent pipe from the roof exhaust. This creates a dangerous situation and I called Mark for help. I was just asking when they could come out but after talking to me and understanding my level of handy work proficiency, he spent 30 minutes on the phone with me looking at my pictures and sending me information and pictures back to help me understand how I might be able to help myself. It saved me a few hundred dollars. And while I was up there, I decided to change my inline filter and while I was searching for the right product online, I saw and remembered that Mark as a customer service gesture left me 2 replacement filters with my install. I keep having reasons to be happy I chose them for my job.Initial Install: I looked long and hard for a company to help with a failing upstairs AC/Heating unit. I got multiple quotes and spoke at length with several companies. Mark and the Awesome Heat & Air Service team stood out as straight shooters to me. They discussed freely and completely all things related to my job. Types of systems, challenges with my particular job, discounts available, time of year and how that affects the cost or the work and even the options to rejuvenate my old system if that was the route that made most sense. Ultimately, I selected them and I was thrilled with all aspects of the work. We even found a way to increase our return air which was a significant flaw in the overall design of my house at the time it was built.

Had some aging air conditioners and was exploring replacements. Had another company come in and give me an outrageous bid. Friend said they had worked with Awesome Air and suggested I call. I talked to Mark and he asked a lot of qualifying questions, something that the other guys did not do. He came out and looked at the house and our current system and then gave me pricing for replacements. I was blown away at how different the pricing was! We replaced both of our units and I could not be happier! The installation team did an amazing job and were very fast! Both ac’s and furnaces replaced in one day! These guys are excellent!

I was looking to be proactive and replace an old unit that had been limping along for a few years. I decided I was going to get a Trane unit. Like any large purchase I did my research and got 3 quotes. I asked for a good, better and best quote from all 3. The other 2 companies were knowledgeable, prompt and quotes were close, Awesome AC just took things to another level. They do business the way things use to be done. Mark and Patty returned my call quickly and spent about 30 min on the phone with me. They came out the next day and spent about an hour with us at our house. Mark did not try to sell me on anything, in fact he steered me away from a few things and leveraged some items in my current system that did not need to be replaced to save me some money. They provided a quote in a few days (they told me it would take a few days based on how busy they were). Their quote provided the best value all things considered, 5 years of labor included, 3 years of maintenance and we were able to get the best price on the best unit. Their crew was courteous and cleaned up and took care to be careful in our home. Awesome AC made something I was not looking forward to and turned it into a great experience. I understand why they only have 5 star reviews...only wish I could give them 6. You can stop looking, just call Awesome AC, they will take care of you and treat you like family.

I cannot say enough good things about Awesome Air. First, they provided me with a detailed quote that was several thousand dollars cheaper than their competitors. This quote included removal of my old AC / furnace unit and both a free 5 year labor warranty and a free 3 year service agreement. Then they installed, in less than a day, a top of the line Trane XV20i variable speed AC, furnace and coil unit that is so quiet you dont even know it is on. The state of the art communicating XL 1050 thermostat I also received has many great features and can be operated with an app on my smart phone. But the best part of Awesome Air is its people. Owners Mark and Pattie are incredible and deliver on what they say they will do for you. Both were extremely patient in answering my questions about the product and assisted me in registering the new unit with Trane. And the installation crew Mark assigned for my job were the best - very professional and knowledgable; they made the entire install process seamless, arriving on time and cleaning things up upon completion. Awesome Air lives up to its name - simply AWESOME!!! I highly recommend them if you are looking to replace your existing AC / furnace system.Update - 10/17/2020After the installation of our new Trane AC, I used Awesome Air to replace a section of duct in our attic to increase air flow into our guest bedroom suite. The work was expertly done and I could not be more pleased with the results. Lastly, Mark came back out to our house to address a vibration noise issue we were having in the exterior wall nearest to AC. After consulting with Trane, Mark added non-vibration boots to the underside base of the unit as well as a heavier duty rubber wrap around the main copper line. Eventually, it was determined that this vibration noise was caused by coolant lines leading from the AC into the house. Mark recommended enlarging the entry hole where these lines feed into the house so they would no longer touch the exterior wall. He provided me with an excellent carpenter, Mr. Nick Brazell (of Brazell Pools), who was amazing at enlarging this entry hole without damaging the coolant lines in the process. Any remaining noise we now hear is from the AC unit when it is running. Thank you, Mark, for providing superior customer service!!!

Starting on Monday, our AC was unable to hold the temperature to 80F even though it was running continuously. Mark came out the same day, and it was agreed that our AC was not worth repairing. Awesome Air installed our new system (AC and gas furnace) on Saturday. Mark and Pattie went out of their way to get our install date sooner since our old AC unit was underperforming. Also, Awesome Air installed 2 HVAC systems at our rental property about 2 years ago. We have not found anyone that can beat their quality of service or pricing. Awesome Air & Heat Service replaced my old heat pump recently and I’m very satisfied with their competitive price, high quality work, and professionalism. Mark and Pattie came in person to give free quote and answer any questions. My email questions were responded within a day. The installation involved replacing my old heat pump on the side of the house and the air handler in the attic. On the installation day, all the equipment was already at the site, the workers arrived on time, covered the floor of front door entrance and stairs, worked quickly and efficiently to completion, and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend Awesome Air & Heat Service.Updated:Awesome Air was so great, I asked Mark to help correct problem on my other Trane heat pump installed 5 years earlier by a different vendor now out of business. I called Awesome Air on recommendation from a friend. I had meant to call them several times throughout the year to get a quote on a new HVAC unit but things kept getting in the way. The day came when my unit died so it wound up being the perfect time to call for a quote and hopefully a repair. Pattie and Mark got out to me that day and fixed my unit so I could heat up my house on the rare cold Texas winter day. I had my checkbook in hand but they didnt charge me a penny! all they asked was I write a favorable review online. They sent me quotes for three units and I picked the one that fit my budget best. After confirming a delivery and install date my HVAC dies the very next day! Mark to the rescue and was able to get it up and running for me and I had heat until my install. Once again he didnt charge me. How often do you hear of someone busting their buts crawling around in an attic and providing an essential service for no charge? If I could give a higher star rating i would! About 2 weeks ago I experienced problems with my outside unit fan motor - I had already replaced it 5 years ago. My outside unit is 13 years old and did not match up with the inside systems - so I opted to purchase an entire new HVAC system. I went to the current company that checked my system annually to get a quote. They tried to high pressure sell me, which was a mistake. I then turned to Yelp to screen those who had a 5 star rating and at least 10 years of experience. After receiving 4 other quotes I can see why as my current service provider tried to pressure me to do the deal right then and there - they were over $2,000 higher than the next lowest quote and almost $3,500 higher than the company I went with - Awesome Air with a 3.5 ton/16 SEER rating.I didnt go with the lowest price as I always consider other value added benefits. Awesome Air from beginning to end were great! Mark & Pattie spent time looking at my system and answered my questions. All the quotes included the same manufacture warranty, but only Awesome Air included a 3 year service agreement and 5 year local labor warranty! Nobody else came close. The additional value of their company warranty and service agreement was huge along with 40 years of experience! ! It more than made up the difference in pricing besides theyre nice people and very reasonable.The installer crew showed up at 8:15am and had everything installed and running within 6 hours. Mark came out about mid-way through the installation just to see how things were going, which I appreciated. Each of the 3 man crew had their assignment and did a great job! They didnt have a lot of room to work with in my 40 year old attic either. Mark showed up as they were testing the system because the lead installer thought the RPM of the motor was a bit slow. Mark brought it to my attention and said hed replace it. I probably would not have never known - thats good business ethics. They couldnt get the motor the next day as it was after the cutoff time to ensure the motor got on the truck. Mark & Pattie came out this morning and while he replaced the motor in about 10 minutes Pattie & I took care of the paperwork and she double-checked to make sure the thermostat was correctly programmed.Besides the system itself two very important things to consider when purchasing an HVAC system - the installer and warranty. I cant say enough good things about Awesome Air - they are absolutely Awesome and one of the best contractors Ive ever encountered! If you have any AC problems theyre the people to call!

Pattie followed up promptly with all of the serial numbers of the equipment so that I can register with the manufacturer (to get extended warranty). We bought a house in Austin knowing that the AC would likely need to be replaced within the first year or two. It was a 20 year old system and our electric bills were showing it. Rather than wait for it to fail, we decided to start getting quotes from local companies for a full system replacement. Not being from the area, we relied heavily on Google/Yelp reviews and ended up getting estimates from about 7 different companies. It was a mixed bag. A couple of companies gave estimates over the phone without ever visiting our house to look at the existing setup. Some were outrageously overpriced. Others were pushy. Awesome Air was none of those things.Mark came out to look at our system and spent a ton of time answering all my questions as well as doing a thorough inspection of both the air handler and the heat pump. We received his estimates (I requested a few different options) later that night. His prices were the lowest for the level and quality of system that we wanted and we hired Awesome Air the next day. When it came time to have the system installed, the Awesome Air team arrived on time and made quick work of it. The entire system was replaced within eight hours. Both Lee and Roger (the guys who took out the old equipment and installed the new) were courteous and professional the entire time. Cleanup was quick and thorough. I have no complaints and nothing but good things to say about Awesome Air.

Today, 1/23/2018 I had them install a new HVAC system in a rental property are they are professional in every respect. The day before I had another contractor over and he walked off the job after I caught him dragging a brand new condenser on its side over some rocks. We had a wonderful experience with Mark and his team! You can tell that Mark knows this business inside and out, and he is a hoot to talk to. One of our AC units stopped cooling and he was able to fix it! Sweet relief. He atook the time to give us some information about how to take care of our air conditioning units. As first time home owners, we have a lot to learn. We also had a weird mystery of two air-conditioning units but only one filter. We asked him to look at it because it didn’t make sense to us. He figured out the shoddy workmanship of whoever installed this. His team returned to correct what somebody else had done poorly. They also sealed some leaks and fixed some other subpar workmanship on the HVAC. We will definitely have Mark and his team out for maintenance going forward. Cannot recommend enough. He really worked hard and hustled for us. I can’t imagine how hard it is having to go up in 130° attics! He also heard the fan in one of our bathrooms and told us that we needed to clean it because it was running too loud. That’s just the kind of guy he is! We have relied on them for about a decade now for all heating and cooling (it’s austin, so cooling needs about 5 to 1) since we first called. After 17 years, trouble free until it died, I replaced it with a Carrier, big mistake. It lasted only 10 years, with many incidents in between. Very disappointed.Marks approach was totally different.After assessing my house and my old system, he sat down with me and listened to my needs. He pulled out some brochures and printed materials and explained each one to me in detail. He did not try to sell me one system/configuration over the other options. He just explained to me the pros and cons and what my possible solution could be. I really appreciated he spending time educating me, equipping me with knowledge, empowering me to make my purchase decision.Our experience for that two-day installation was great too. Day 1 was to remove the old unit. Day 2 was to installing the new. His crew was on time, courteous, kept my house very clean the whole time.Talk about going extra the mile, at the end of Day 1, after the crew was gone, I went up to the attic and found out that I could have way more usable storage space if the existing AC vapor line was slightly re-routed. I took some pictures and sent them to Mark. He called back and said he would ask one of his worker to drop off some copper tube that night so the crew could do the rerouting first thing int he morning. I cannot give Awesome Air enough stars! I met Mark and his wife many years ago when I had a system that was on its last legs. There was no money to replace the unit and it just kept having issues. When I finally found Awesome Air, the drain pan was overflowing and it was raining in my dining room! Mark and his guys came in, cleared my pipes, cleared my evaporator coils and put in an overflow shut off valve so it wouldnt rain in my dining room again.Through the next few years Awesome Air kept our tired, worn out, ancient system going for us.When we had the money for a new system, we contacted Awesome Air, and again AMAZING! They presented me with several options within our budget, no pressure to purchase one or the other, but they made sure 100% that I knew what the difference between the units were. Install was fast, easy and clean. Zero problems with the new unit!The unit stopped working just a few months before the warranty was out. I had a suspicion that our thermostat was gone, which I installed and was not under warranty. I called Awesome Air just in case. Mark and his wife personally came out to check the unit and test the thermostat. My thermostat was bad, everything else was good. They did not charge me anything for the visit even though the issue had nothing to do with their work and was not covered under warranty.Time and time again Awesome Air delivers AMAZING customer service. I am so thankful that we found the 5 years ago, and I will never call anybody else.Update!! This year has just been an a/c disaster for us, but all FOUR times Awesome Air has been amazing. Three of our disasters were completely unrelated to our install, but nature and dogs. The fourth however was a legitimate warranty issue. As always it happened after hours. Called Mark after 8pm, had a call back and appointment set before 9pm. Matk came out the next day, found the issue and got us up and going!As always Awesome Air saved the day. They honered their warranty, made sure we were taken care of 100%.I have used other people in other houses, and Ive had to wait days to get warranty work done. Not with Awesome Air! Truth in advertising, these guys really live up to their name! They were very responsive to my email asking for a quote, and good communication from the start of the in-person evaluation all the way through the end of the process for installing my new AC. Of all the Trane certified HVAC guys in the area, their bid was by FAR the lowest(I didnt bother with anyone who wasnt on Tranes website)! They gave me all of the options available and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need like a new thermostat; very honest! I hired Awesome Air replace the the HVAC system on my residence and reroute some duct work. This company is beyond Awesome and holds true to the old school values of personalized customer service and communication. The install crew arrived on time and completed the entire job in less than a day. After the install the lead tech walked me through the completed work and demonstrated the function of the new ducts and thermostat. Upon the completion of the work I received a call from the companys owner ensuring my satisfaction and asking if I had any questions on the new units operation. After the crew left the only sign they were there was the new equipment. They didnt leave so much as foot print behind. This level of personal attention is impressive and seems to be dying art. Our new unit is whisper quiet and cold as ice. Awesome Air sets the bar in HVAC install and repair!

We highly recommend Awesome Air, Mark is very knowledgeable and fair. Our AC unit was 15 years old and the original builder unit. Mark has kept this unit going but it was time for a new one. Mark and Patti came out at 6:00pm, assessed the unit and we determined a new unit was the best solution. They gave us a quote to replace the AC and furnace as well as fix several problems with the original installation. The next morning at 8:00am the crew was here and had the new unit installed by 5:00pm. This unit was in the attic with a small access in a tight space. The original system did not have the correct return air size so they had to add return air vents. The crew even topped off the Freon in the other 2 units. When we have to replace the other systems we’re calling Awesome Air.

The unit was back up and running - with new parts - within 8 hours of reporting the issue. Total cost - ZERO. A couple of weeks ago, my upstairs AC started blowing hot, humid air. Not what I want. I got estimates from several companies and they were all over the board. Mark came out, gave me recommendations to make the system better, and gave me one of the lowest quotes. After deciding all that I wanted to do to my system, Mark came back out to review with me again what was going on. (The original construction had a bunch of inefficient splits). We were able to set up a better layout, rebuild the plenums and add central filters to both systems for a great price. They even reused some of my old ductwork to create new, more efficient, runs without charging any extra, which make my system both more efficient and reduced waste.
