    Ken was really great, he was able to come to my house yesterday (Sunday) and was able to give a temporary solution for my furnace until he could come back today for the complete repair. He came back today at the time he promised and got the furnace working in no time at all. He gave me helpful tips on how to better circulate the air in my home in different seasons as well. Ken is prompt, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant to talk with. This was my first time working with Ken, but it wont be my last.

    I contacted Aurora Mechanical to repair my elderly mothers gas fireplace that had never been serviced and it was about 10 years old. When dealing with gas you want to be sure you have someone certified that knows what they are doing. The pilot light was burning but the switch did not ignite the flame. Ken, the owner, contacted me right away after I sent a Yelp inquiry. He came out and disassembled the fireplace, tested the parts, and determined that a part needed to be ordered. He spent extra time getting estimates to save money on the parts and get the best price. His communication with me throughout this process was excellent. The parts arrived within a week and he promptly came back out and installed them. Her fireplace was difficult to work on, but he is smart and figured it out and did not charge for additional time as he pretty much had to reassemble the entire thing to fix it due to the manufacturers design. He took additional time to adjust the flames to my mothers satisfaction as she is very picky about everything and it looks beautiful! I would not hesitate to recommend his honest and valued service. She lives in Frisco, but Aurora Mechanical services the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. They also do HVAC repair and installation and water heaters as well.

    Ken was awesome and he did a great job flushing our tankless water heater. He was very professional and did not push into selling add on services. I did not have to buy anything for the annual flush as everything was covered in the negotiated price.He even went above and beyond by flushing the entire home pipe system for free.

    Ken at Aurora Mechanical was a life saver! My AC unit has been having issues since getting the nest thermostat installed and after calling several AC companies in the area AND having one other company come out to “fix” and charging an arm and leg to still have the same issue… Ken came to the rescue on a Sunday. I highly recommend calling Aurora Mechanical before calling anyone else in the Prosper/Celina and surrounding areas. He wasn’t only professional and knowledgeable, but his prices were beyond reasonable!

    Excellent service and very positive experience. We were without heat for two days due to a faulty gas valve in our furnace. All AC companies I called said they cannot come out for next two days and would give outrageous estimates. They gave the vibe that they are trying to take advantage of my situation. Ken was very straight forward on the phone and did not beat around the bush. Quoted me a reasonable price for his service right on the phone to change a bad gas valve. He picked up the part and arrived at the time he gave to us. Thanks Ken for saving the day for us!

    Can’t thank Ken enough for his help in correctly diagnosing and fixing two of my heating units. Not only did he do this very quickly, professionally, and courteously, but he also clearly explained and patiently demonstrated to me while he was diagnosing each unit what he was doing. A year ago I had probably the worst serviceman I’ve ever had on an AC issue he didn’t even diagnose. He did put in $300 of freon which was gone the following day. Ken helped restore my faith that conscientious and trustworthy servicemen still exist, and for this I would recommend him wholeheartedly and without reservation. He’s also just an all around good, kind and interesting man!

    Fantastic job. When I called for my ac unit not working. He diagnosed the issue. did couple of testing till he found out the root cause. He could have just did the workaround and could leave like many vendors we see, but he went above and beyond worked 2 full nights to make sure my AC UNIT is working again with a nominal price. I would always go to him.

    Well done Ken. I had him twice at my house. Always on time which in my opinion punctuality with this businesses especially when outside temperature is 110 degrees and you are sweating inside, is the most important thing you appreciate about any contractor. Honestly his diagnoses both times were right on the money. I think he is very reasonable when it comes to pricing too, cause i got quote from 3 other companies not even one of them bit his price not to mention i dialed 6 or 7 other contractors that i could only talk to three of them.     Aurora Mechanical (Ken) is a lifesaver! I tried calling so many plumbing companies, they were all booked or didn’t answer. Ken answered and instructed me over the phone on how to fix my water heater. After that didn’t work I called back and he was able to come out and repair it. I appreciate him coming out during this busy time when everyone is needing services. We have been without hot water for several days due to the winter storm. So glad that it’s working!

    Our house has a zoning system for the AC/Furnace system and we can control the two zones with different thermostats, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. We had concerns about our upstairs area temperature going slightly up even though the upstairs zone/thermostat was turned off, only the downstairs zone was running. We could feel air coming out of the upstairs ducts, not as strong as downstairs but enough to be concerned as upstairs zone heating was turned off. Ken came over and started his investigation like a detective :-) He climbed into the attic and tested the actuator and damper to see what is causing the more than expected air to come out of the upstairs ducts. We communicated via cell phone so that I can turn off and on the upstairs and downstairs zone based on what test he is performing.Spending time in our attic is not an easy task as it is an unfinished attic and not easy to go around. You can start sweating up their real easy even in low temps. Yet Ken stayed up there investigating as much as he could to figure out the root cause. Couple of hours of investigation did not reveal the root cause. He could have investigated further but we decided to not pursue since winter is pretty much over its not that big of a concern now. I so much appreciate Kens time and sincere effort he put in to figure out root cause. Thanks Ken for all your time and effort!!

    If you want a friendly, conscientious A/C guy, Ken is your man. I feel that he actually cares about me and my family. He is a good person whom I trust in my home and Im sure he knows what he is doing when it comes to hvac matters.
