I am writing this review because Ben has been very professional and diligent in trying to resolve my issues when I have had warranty request. My first encounter with him was when I scheduled an appointment for Alpine Air to install my digital thermostat so I wouldnt have any warranty issues. He was on time and got the installation done in a timely manner. My second encounter was a warranty call because I was hearing a whistling noise that was keeping me awake. I couldnt recreate the issue when he arrived but he advised me to change to the cheaper green filters instead of the pleated filters. The next day the whistling started again so I took his advice and I have never heard the whistle again. Today he came out because my outside unit had been sounding like a lawn mower. Weve had cooler days and a lot of rain so once again I couldnt recreate the noise for him. He tried to do some troubleshooting but we couldnt recreate the issue. I am really appreciative of him listening to my concerns and not making it seem like I am complaining for nothing. That has been the behavior Ive received from my builders staff but I have never been treated that way by Ben. I did have an issue where someone was late and not giving me good information after I had my inspection done but I now believe that was the builder posing as the A/C representative because the builders construction manager brought him in and that person has never been sent to my home by Alpine Air.

I want to thank Alpine air for taking care of my ac unit, James was excellent and as always I will recommend your services, as a project manager/purchasing manager I will continue to use Alpine on all the homes I build. They are the best contractor I have worked with.

They dont respect your time. They only do weekdays before 5pm for warranty visits. And I made an appointment with them on a weekday, but since I have work, I have to file a day off. And on the day of the appointment, no one arrived and they asked if we could do the next weekday instead. To which I cant since itll cost me another day off.Edit: 4 months after, and their service has improved in terms of setting warranty visits. You just need to do your part of calling and updating them. But they have good professionals, who can get the job done.

They do business still like the good old days, complete the job well and then bill you. If there are any issues, they will come back and fix it and make it right. They have serviced our ACs for over 17 years and I would highly recommend them

I am an engineer in Clear Lake. My parents used Alpine during their retirement (20 years) and I now use Alpine. Totally competent, honest, fair priced with fast service. Work is high quality. Will discuss repair options versus replacement. James is the best! Those answering the phones at the office will talk to you, call back, and make you feel at ease.

We have used Alpine for years. They installed the a/c system in the new built home and warrantees it. Our last service was to replace another coil (number 3 so far in 13 years) but they didn’t have the right size pan so we had to wait a week for that to be put in.

Had a vent not sealed and was causing condensation. Alpine came and fixed it within a day of me calling and the tech was very professional. Will definitely continue recommending them to my neighbors and friends.

Alpine Air did the original instillation of the three units for our home twenty six years ago and they have serviced them ever since. I can not say once that we been disappointed in them or the quality of their work. The two technicians who came out yesterday to install a new coil worked for hours in our hot attic and were throughout polite and courteous. Their prices are also very reasonable. I even gave them a tip for their hard work. Living in Houston, what would we do without these men and their company! (Thank you again David and John)

I had a service contract with another company, when my evaporator coil started leaking that company quoted me a 5 month lead time for the part (pandemic supply chains). My father-in-law recommended Alpine, hes used them for 20+ years. Called them up and they sent a tech the next day who confirmed the part was in stock and they quoted me half the price.

I dont understand the bad reviews for this company. We have been dealing with them for 10 years now. They have always been prompt, professional, fair, reliable, and reasonably priced.They came out recently on short notice over a holiday weekend. I was prepared to get a ridiculously high service bill, because that is what happens anytime we have to call someone out for home repairs, but no, we were given a surprisingly honest and low price. Years ago, we also had an issue in which we asked them to correct a problem with the A/C installation - which they did quickly, completely, and without argument.I couldnt recommend them more highly.

My A/C went out on a Saturday in late April. After my normal A/C technician told me he couldnt be out until Tuesday, I called Alpine Air at 1:43 PM.Within the hour, we had cold air in the house again. The technician, Juan, was at our house for about 15 minutes, and most of that time was spent walking from his truck to the condenser unit. He spotted the problem immediately and changed out our capacitor, and was on his way.Great, fast service and a positive attitude. No attempt at an upsell, and no BS. I wouldnt hesitate to call Alpine Air again.

We have used Alpine Air for the past 5 years as they installed the HVAC equipment, per the builder, in this home. They have had a couple of miscommunications during that time for service visits but each time they made it right. I will continue to use them as they know the equipment and have installed many of the homes in this area. I have had some of the same gentlemen come to do the service calls and well checks, and those that have returned for the annual service check visits have been the nicest and most professional.

I have used them five times now for our home built in 2010, the most recent today.They have replaced evaporator coils twice and added freon on two other occasions. Today was a blown fuse in the furnace due to a thermostat change out to Nest.They have been nothing but prompt and have done a great job each and every time. They have come out the same day once and the next day all other times very close to the estimated time of arrival. Techs are easy to talk too and explain things in simple terms.I have nothing but good things to say about them and will continue to use them for my AC needs. A very happy customer.

I have used alpine 4-5 times over the years. They always do a fantastic job for a fair price. In fact I blew a fuse installing a new thermostat and they came out on a saturday morning and replaced it for free.

I had called a big outfit in Houston. After a 3 visits and a misdiagnosis, I still had a dripping exterior HVAC drainage pipe(cost me $1100). Alpine air sent out their technician, Ben Rivera. He was courteous, professional, correctly diagnosed my problem, and fixed it for $127. I strongly recommend Alpine Air for tour HVAC needs. They need to take care of Ben Rivera like they took care of me.

This company is top notch in my book. They were the original installers of our AC units in 2003 when the house was built. Weve utilized them for check-ups and fixes since then. Great customer service from the front desk to the technician. They are also quick and fairly priced, great job guys!
